Champion-Coached First Dances, Made for You
Dmytro Roshchupkin
LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Dance Treat Studio in sun-kissed Sarastoa, FL, offers you wedding dance lessons, personalized to suit your unique vision and personalities, creating a memorable choreography. Your first dance is the one moment of the wedding that's just the two of you, and it should feel like you, not a stiff routine you're afraid to forget.
At Dance Treat Studio in Sarasota, we build your first dance around your song, your style, and how comfortable you are on the floor, then rehearse it until it feels natural and genuinely yours. Most of our couples walk in convinced they have two left feet, and that's exactly who we love teaching. You don't need any experience, and you'll never be handed a generic step pattern. We choreograph to your music and to the two of you, at a pace that fits your timeline. Most couples are wedding-ready in about 8 to 16 lessons.
Want something soft and romantic for a slow song? A surprise tempo change that gets the whole room cheering? A dip, a spin, or a little something for the parent dance or bridal party? We'll design it with you and always keep it well within what you can confidently pull off on the day.
You'll be coached by a team that competes at the highest level. Lead instructor Dmytro Roshchupkin is a USA Dance Vice Champion and European Vice Champion, and our team includes World Dance O'Rama champions, yet the room itself stays warm, patient, and completely judgment-free. We teach the full range of ballroom and Latin (waltz, foxtrot, rumba, swing, salsa, bachata, Argentine tango, and more), so whatever your song calls for, we can create it.
We're an easy drive for couples across Sarasota, Siesta Key, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice, Anna Maria, and the greater Tampa Bay area, with free parking right outside the studio. Lessons are available in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Best of all, you can try it before you commit because your first lesson is on us. Tell us your song and your wedding date, and let's make your first dance a moment you'll both love reliving.

- Dmytro RoshchupkinLead InstructorHi, I'm Dmytro - manager and lead instructor at Dance Treat, a Sarasota studio where couples come to fall in love with dancing (and each other, all over again) before the big day. I've spent years teaching partner dance, and wedding first dances are my favorite thing to choreograph. Why? Because no two couples move the same way — and no two love stories sound the same. Whether you're dreaming of a classic, romantic waltz, a playful swing number, or a choreographed surprise that makes your guests jump out of their seats, I'll build it around your song, your comfort level, and your timeline. Most of my couples walk in saying "we have two left feet." They walk out with a dance that feels natural, looks beautiful on camera, and — most importantly — lets them actually enjoy the moment instead of counting steps. My approach is patient, structured, and pressure-free: we start with the basics, layer in choreography at your pace, and rehearse until the dance feels like second nature. Lessons are available in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and I work with couples on any timeline — whether your wedding is a year away or next month. Your first dance is the one moment at your wedding when every eye is on just the two of you. Let's make it one you'll never want to forget.
- Isabelle JordanDance InstructorIsabelle brings warmth, patience, and a genuine love of dance to every lesson. She specializes in helping nervous first-time dancers feel at ease, breaking choreography into simple, natural steps that fit each couple's song and style. From elegant slow dances to fun, personality-filled routines, Isabelle makes sure your first dance feels effortless — and that you have a great time learning it. Couples leave her lessons confident, connected, and excited for the big moment.
- Giovana IhrigDance InstructorGiovana is known for her upbeat energy and eye for detail — she can take two nervous dancers and have them gliding by the end of the first lesson. She tailors every routine to the couple: your song, your comfort level, your story. Whether you want something sweet and simple or a show-stopping routine with dips and spins, Giovana choreographs it so it looks polished but feels easy. Her couples don't just learn their first dance — they actually look forward to practicing it.
