Dance Upon A Star was created with the thought of reaching out to the community by offering quality ballroom dance instruction at an affordable rate. I love to dance! I've been dancing since I was three years old starting with ballet and tap. In 2003, I discovered ballroom dancing and have been head over heels for it since. Over the years, I've come across countless individuals who have said to me, (after I've told them that I teach dance) "Oh, I've always wanted to learn how to dance, but I have three left feet." I believe that I can teach anyone (including people with three left feet) how to dance. The formula is this: it takes Patience, Time, & Practice. (On our lessons together, I can elaborate more on this formula.) The dances that I teach are: Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa, Mambo, Samba, Viennese Waltz, Bolero, Merengue, Hustle, Nightclub Two-Step, and Country Western Two-Step. My focus is social ballroom. If you want to be a great social dancer, go out to dance clubs and be able to dance to just about anything that plays, then I am definitely the instructor for you. I can get you ready for that special event such as a reunion, wedding, or holiday party. I teach couples as well as singles, children (5 & up), teens as well as adults. You don’t need a partner. I also choreograph wedding dances. Adult lessons are 45 minutes each. Children's lessons are 30 mins. each. I am located in Northwest Las Vegas. My prices are very competitive! The 1st private lesson is only $20 and that is to just give me chance and see how you like the way I teach. Private lessons there after are $60 per lesson. However, I offer many discounts!!! The friend discount, military/veteran discount, senior (65+) discount, college student discount, and disabled persons discount is $40 a lesson. 😉 The Wedding couple discount is $50 a lesson. I also offer student discount (must be 5 to 17 years) $25 per 30 min. lesson. Group classes are $10 per person per 45 min. group class. Referral Discount = If you refer a friend to a group class and they take a class, your next group class is only $5.
