Stephanie recently joined Danznik Studio for wedding dance lessons. As an expert dance Instructor she will work with you to get you dance floor-ready and feel good on your dance journey. She has worked with over 2200 wedding couples since 2008 and is well-versed in various dance styles and techniques. Stephanie can adapt moves to suit the individual, ensuring they feel comfortable when grooving to their first dance on their special day. Regardless of your song and dance goals for your once-in-a-lifetime event, she will ensure your confidence and success

vices walking into our first class. Stephanie was so kind, patient, and helped us slowly become comfortable with this beautiful style of dance (so much so that we still enjoy doing some of the steps when we find ourselves on a dance floor now and then!).
|| We came to her with a medley of a few songs that we wanted to include in our first dance. She encouraged us to incorporate different styles of dance for each song, based on the tempo/vibe, which made it really fun and engaging.
|| Stephanie also offered virtual dance lessons, which was really helpful when our schedules wouldn’t sync or we were traveling - we were still able to keep up with our practices to make sure we were prepared in time.
|| Lastly, as an added bonus - these dance lessons were such a lovely break from wedding planning, and encouraged us to take a few moments for ourselves during a very busy time. Definitely something I would encourage all couples to do!

It's worth mentioning that we practiced a lot on our own (20 min every day for six weeks!) in between lessons, which was critical for us, but every time we came in for a lesson, Stephanie helped us work out any issues and made sure we felt comfortable with what we were doing. With a the pandemic still ongoing, we did weekly Zoom classes and each week, Stephanie taught us beginner step by step until we were counting beats and moving together, although still stepping on each other toes. Stephanie was never impatient with our progress and always happy to help us incorporate new moves that worked for us. As our wedding came closer, we switched to a few intensive in-person classes and really drilled down the dance routing. On our wedding day, as can sometimes go wrong, the band played a different version of our song and we missed the beginning beats. After the first two seconds of panic, my husband and I smiled at each other, as we were trained dancers by now. My husband led and I followed through what turned out to be a totally different arrangement of moves but equally memorable and impressive first dance. Our dance included the death drop, a back lean, elegant turns and a grand finale lift. We executed like pros, thanks to Stephanie!!
