Our wedding dance instructor was an absolute star! Not only did she bring a level of professionalism that truly set her apart, but her commitment to our progress was outstanding. After each session, she would type out and send us the entire routine, including any changes or adjustments, making practice at home a breeze. Her thoughtful approach extended to recording videos of our sessions with our own phones. This not only allowed us to revisit the steps but also provided a valuable visual tool for repetition and improvement. It's these extra touches that made the entire learning process incredibly effective and enjoyable. Her private studio, with its clean and bright ambiance, served as the perfect setting for our lessons. We cannot thank her enough for the expertise, patience, and personal attention she brought to every session. Our wedding dance was a hit, and we owe it all to her dedication and skill. As someone with no dance experience whatsoever - I can’t recommend Citabria enough. My wife and I were married in June 2023 and wanted to learn a few simple moves for our first dance, so that we didn’t look like we had no clue what we were doing on our wedding day. Citabria was the perfect coach to help us figure things out. We had three sessions with her in her beautiful backyard studio in Oakland. We came to her with a song in mind and she immediately started figuring out what made sense and guiding us through how to do the moves she was teaching us. She is an incredible dancer in her own right and would also step in to play the part as bride or groom to help the other one figure things out. Our first dance ended up being a hit and my wife and I really enjoyed it so much more because we felt confident and knew what we were doing. Thanks again so much Citabria! I can’t recommend her enough to any couple looking to hone their dancing skills for their big day.

We were planning our wedding on short notice and Citabria really came through for us. I'm not a very confident dancer and dancing has always made me feel self-conscious, but Citabria was able to cut through all of that. The classes we took with her ended up being some of the most fun that my partner and I had in the whole planning process. She has a very calm presence and works with you to put together something that you'll have fun with. And when it came to the big event, the dance went really well! We even fooled a few people into thinking that I know how to dance. Well done, Citabria.

Citabria was a star instructor! We took a series of five private dance lessons with Citabria at her Oakland studio. She helped two novices understand the dance steps and possible combinations for our first dance song in a clear and comfortable fashion. Her notes during each lesson were extremely useful for completing our dance in front of friends and family, based on her extensive experience competing and performing. Citabria's ability to switch between lead and follow gave both of us the ability to practice feeling what the movements should feel like and to improve our physical communication effectively. Even now that our wedding is over, we still enjoy practicing the steps she taught us around our home because it feels easy and fun!
