Our dance lessons with Uttara were truly one of the highlights of our wedding planning. We came in as total beginners (and admittedly terrible dancers) just hoping not to sway awkwardly through our first dance. Uttara immediately put us at ease and she created simple, beautiful choreography that fit our song and our skill level perfectly. Her energy, patience, and encouragement made every lesson so much fun and stress-free, and we never once felt embarrassed about our progress. The lessons were the part of planning we looked forward to the most. They were such a great opportunity to slow down and share special moments together during the planning process and actually enjoy preparing for details of the big day in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Even when we made mistakes during the actual first dance, we smiled the whole way through because of the confidence and positive vibes Uttara gave us. ’t want to go out on the dance floor for our first dance and just “sway”. Uttara is the most kind, sweet and FUN dance instructor. We had about 11 lessons and each one was full of laughs and we came away learning so much by the end. Uttara made us feel so comfortable and was so reassuring every step of the way. We had a full choreographed first dance and it really ended up being a highlight for our wedding. Our friends and family are still talking about our dance to this day. We had so much fun with it that we will definitely be returning for lessons just for fun! I can’t recommend Uttara enough if you are looking for help with your first dance or even just to brush up on some techniques!

une 2024, My husband and I decided to take dance lessons for our wedding first dance. From the very beginning, Uttara was kind, professional and overall the sweetest person I know. She asked about our end goal and how much time we had to achieve this. We mentioned that our wedding was August 10th (literally in 6 weeks). My fiance at the time had some dance experience but I was the complete opposite, I had 2 left feet. She immediately put a dance lesson plan together for us and assured us we can make it happen. Fast forward to August 10th, we executed the most beautiful first dance. We danced so effortlessly almost like we’ve been doing this our whole lives. We looked so good and all of our guests loved it. We are so grateful to have found Uttara at Dance with Panache. Not only did we have fun but we learned so much about dance and ourselves. Dance is not only about moving but communicating with your partner. We highly recommend Dance with Panache, that is the best decision we’ve made.

it was the BEST idea! Our guests were blown away (no intentional tripping!) and really enjoyed our performance. Uttara is professional, so so talented, and really fun! Neither of us had taken dance lessons before and she was able to whip us in to shape and make us look good! That's some serious skill! I highly recommend taking lessons here. Uttara is well able to explain the moves, correct us when needed, and to encourage us throughout the experience. She worked with us and gave us so many options. These lessons were vital!

When we picked our wedding song, we knew we wanted to do something a little out of the box, and Uttara had so many great ideas to incorporate into a routine. When we last minute decided to add a Pakastani dance to end our routine, she was able to help us craft something that became one of the most memorable parts of our wedding! atmosphere, and amazing instruction. It was also very beneficial to have both a female and male instructor - while Jonathan primarily instructed us, Uttara would jump in and assist or demonstrate with Jonathan frequently. They allowed us to build our dance as complex as we thought we could handle and showed us what it would look like piece-by-piece. Now 2 weeks before our wedding and with one lesson left, we are extremely thankful for their help and very happy with how well we have progressed. We have not only gained a great understanding for dancing but we've also made two new friends. They are so optimistic, honest, and all around phenomenal people. Jonathan and Uttara are wonderful instructors and provide positive feedback while remaining helpful. We cannot wait to show off our moves at the wedding! I met Jonathan and Uttara when I dragged my then fiance to our first dance lesson. I wanted to learn a choreographed dance, he did not. We are NOT dancers, he did not want to be ...

there and I wasn't sure we wouldn't fail. We had 5 months till the wedding and got to work. Jonathan created exactly what I wanted with the two fancy dips that I wanted. Uttara is a wonderful lady (now a friend) who was always there to show the female side of the dance, and what I should be looking like! We roughly learned the dance in the first month, attending two lessons a week, once we "knew" the routine, we came once a week until the wedding to perfect it. The lessons stopped being a chore for my fiance right away. He was focused on the steps and saw how happy I was. Two weeks before the wedding my fiance told Jonathan that we would definitely continue dancing together after the wedding!! (I was shocked and was so happy) On the day of the wedding Jonathan was right by our side and gave us a last minute pep talk and tips to calm us. Ten minutes later, we nailed our dance! I had the biggest smile on my face (because we didn't fall!!) It was so perfect. Uttara and Jonathan immediately came over to congratulate us. Our guests loved the personalized dance and that is something Bruce and I will always have. The video of our first dance is without a doubt my favorite thing from our wedding. I felt like a dancer and a princess. Jonathan - "All of me, loves all of" the memories you gave us :) Can't thank you enough!
