Our dance lessons with Uttara were hands down our most fun and memorable experience during our wedding planning process. We went in without a lot of expectations other than we didn’t want to go out on the dance floor for our first dance and just “sway”.
Uttara is the most kind, sweet and FUN dance instructor. We had about 11 lessons and each one was full of laughs and we came away learning so much by the end. Uttara made us feel so comfortable and was so reassuring every step of the way.
We had a full choreographed first dance and it really ended up being a highlight for our wedding. Our friends and family are still talking about our dance to this day.
We had so much fun with it that we will definitely be returning for lessons just for fun! I can’t recommend Uttara enough if you are looking for help with your first dance or even just to brush up on some techniques!

Look no further when searching for a dance instructor! Uttara is an amazing dance instructor who makes coming to dance lessons fun and exciting. She choreographed my first dance for my wedding and even though my wedding has gone and passed, my wife and I will continue to take dance lessons with Uttara. Through dance we connected and now I can say she is not only my dance instructor but a friend.

Taking wedding dance lessons with Dance with Panache and Uttara was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! From the very first lesson, Uttara made us feel comfortable, confident, and excited to step onto the dance floor as a married couple.
Neither of us had much dance experience, but Uttara’s patience, expertise, and enthusiasm made learning so much fun. We went in thinking we knew how to dance but came out with much better technique and understanding on proper ways to lead and follow for our first dance. Uttara is so easy to follow, good listener, and patient instructor. Highly recommend.

Where can we even start?! We have so many great things to say about Uttara! She is the most amazing, kind, patient and knowledgeable dance instructor we’ve ever worked with. Late June 2024, My husband and I decided to take dance lessons for our wedding first dance. From the very beginning, Uttara was kind, professional and overall the sweetest person I know. She asked about our end goal and how much time we had to achieve this. We mentioned that our wedding was August 10th (literally in 6 weeks). My fiance at the time had some dance experience but I was the complete opposite, I had 2 left feet. She immediately put a dance lesson plan together for us and assured us we can make it happen. Fast forward to August 10th, we executed the most beautiful first dance. We danced so effortlessly almost like we’ve been doing this our whole lives. We looked so good and all of our guests loved it. We are so grateful to have found Uttara at Dance with Panache. Not only did we have fun but we learned so much about dance and ourselves. Dance is not only about moving but communicating with your partner. We highly recommend Dance with Panache, that is the best decision we’ve made.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding and we wanted to take dance lessons. We ended up with Dance With Panache and learned so much. We were happy with Uttara and had such a fun time dancing. Uttara really is a 5 star dance instructor! For my wedding, my sister and her husband did a choreographed dance, and Uttara was very fast with communication, flexible with scheduling and super talented - the dance came out awesome!! Panache gave us the wedding first dance routine of our dreams! We are an extremely shy couple who were nervous about our first dance. From our first lesson together, she made us feel comfortable and capable of anything. Our first dance went beautifully! My fiancee and I had a great time learning our Dance with Uttara. Initially we wanted to take classes to be good enough not to look like idiots, but by the end of it we felt confident in our dancing and have learned much more than we thought. My fiancé and I had so much fun learning our wedding first dance with Uttara. We are neither graceful nor coordinated, so we were nervous going into the lesson. Uttara was patient, fun, and so encouraging. She made us feel so comfortable. Uttara helped us choose the right song for us and came up with a great routine to show our guests. My fiancé and I have been taking dance lessons for almost a year. We did social dancing and wedding dance lessons! We have had a wonderful experience. Uttara makes you feel very comfortable , encourages you, and is sweet and patient. I love that she takes a video at the end of the lesson so you can practice at home. She is also very professional! We are so lucky to have her as our dance instructor and friend. We look forward to future dance lessons :)

We used Dance with Panache for our first dance! I loved our instructors energy and attitude! She made things so simple and really broke everything down. I was so shocked about how much my husband loved the dance lessons. We are thinking about trying some new styles not that the wedding is over.

My now husband surprised me with dance lessons for our wedding last Christmas, and this has been the most enjoyable experience! Uttara made us feel so comfortable from the very beginning, eliminating pretty much any embarrassment or nervousness. The way she breaks things down makes it so easy, and she sends you home with a video at the end of each class to make sure you are able to continue practicing at home. I felt like the worst dancer ever at the beginning, but by the time our wedding came, I felt so elegant and prepared... we even had a lift at the end!!! Highly recommended to anyone looking to add a little something extra to their wedding day. Totally worth it and SO fun!!

My (now) husband and I wanted to take lessons so that when we danced at our wedding, we wouldn't be tripping over each other!
We took lessons from Uttara at Dance with Panache and it was the BEST idea! Our guests were blown away (no intentional tripping!) and really enjoyed our performance.
Uttara is professional, so so talented, and really fun! Neither of us had taken dance lessons before and she was able to whip us in to shape and make us look good! That's some serious skill!
I highly recommend taking lessons here. Uttara is well able to explain the moves, correct us when needed, and to encourage us throughout the experience. She worked with us and gave us so many options. These lessons were vital!

We came to Uttara with a special request: The Tango! Her excitement at that prospect immediately told us we had found the right dance instructor for our “first dance”! We had a specific dance in mind but she decided it would be easier for us if she modified it to our skill level. (My fiancé is not a dancer and we chose a complicated routine.) Uttara’s exuberance is contagious and so much fun. We can’t wait to perform our First Dance and shock the hell out of our friends and family. She has quickly become a dear friend and we can’t imagine having our wedding without her there as a special guest! If you want an instructor that is professional, competent, and creative, then you should book Miss Uttara!

We reached out to Uttara to help us to plan our wedding dance and we could not have had a better time working with her! She is so professional and can easily explain complicated dance moves in a simple way. My husband had never danced before and he left our last lesson feeling confident. He even admitted he loved going to the lessons! When we picked our wedding song, we knew we wanted to do something a little out of the box, and Uttara had so many great ideas to incorporate into a routine. When we last minute decided to add a Pakastani dance to end our routine, she was able to help us craft something that became one of the most memorable parts of our wedding! Guests are still saying how unexpected and great our dance was. Uttara was so accommodating with our work and travel schedules and we would not hesitate to recommend her to any future couples!

I can’t say enough about Uttara!! She absolutely amazing. She helped my husband and I put together such a perfect first dance that even he enjoyed himself!! So much so that he continued to dance with me throughout the night! When we had our first lesson he couldn’t hear a beat to save his life, when we were done I’d say he was almost better than me...at that dance! She was a joy to work with and made our lessons so much fun!

My fiancé and I started our adventure with Jonathan and Uttara 3 months before our wedding. Our consultation really solidified that we would be getting a lot of experience, a great atmosphere, and amazing instruction. It was also very beneficial to have both a female and male instructor - while Jonathan primarily instructed us, Uttara would jump in and assist or demonstrate with Jonathan frequently. They allowed us to build our dance as complex as we thought we could handle and showed us what it would look like piece-by-piece. Now 2 weeks before our wedding and with one lesson left, we are extremely thankful for their help and very happy with how well we have progressed. We have not only gained a great understanding for dancing but we've also made two new friends. They are so optimistic, honest, and all around phenomenal people. Jonathan and Uttara are wonderful instructors and provide positive feedback while remaining helpful.
We cannot wait to show off our moves at the wedding! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Jonathan and Uttara!!

I met Jonathan and Uttara when I dragged my then fiance to our first dance lesson. I wanted to learn a choreographed dance, he did not. We are NOT dancers, he did not want to be there and I wasn't sure we wouldn't fail. We had 5 months till the wedding and got to work. Jonathan created exactly what I wanted with the two fancy dips that I wanted. Uttara is a wonderful lady (now a friend) who was always there to show the female side of the dance, and what I should be looking like! We roughly learned the dance in the first month, attending two lessons a week, once we "knew" the routine, we came once a week until the wedding to perfect it. The lessons stopped being a chore for my fiance right away. He was focused on the steps and saw how happy I was. Two weeks before the wedding my fiance told Jonathan that we would definitely continue dancing together after the wedding!! (I was shocked and was so happy) On the day of the wedding Jonathan was right by our side and gave us a last minute pep talk and tips to calm us. Ten minutes later, we nailed our dance! I had the biggest smile on my face (because we didn't fall!!) It was so perfect. Uttara and Jonathan immediately came over to congratulate us. Our guests loved the personalized dance and that is something Bruce and I will always have. The video of our first dance is without a doubt my favorite thing from our wedding. I felt like a dancer and a princess.
