Dance lessons ended up being one of my favorite experiences of the entir...
e wedding planning process, all thanks to Domingo. From our very first session, he made us feel comfortable and capable, even though we came in with zero dance experience and a bit of nerves.
Domingo has this amazing way of incorporating your natural way of moving into a routine, so that you don't feel like there is a bunch of steps that feel unnatural for which you have to memorize (hence the BLEND in Danceblend!).
He was endlessly patient and encouraging, and somehow managed to turn our clumsy attempts into a routine that felt natural, personal, and perfectly “us.”
Every lesson was filled with progress and genuine fun. He broke down the routine into pieces, a new chunk of the song each lesson, and by the 5th or 6th lesson it had all come together and we were just fine tuning.
Our wedding is around the corner and we are very excited to dance in front of everyone!
