When my husband Michael and I started planning our wedding, there was one thing we knew for sure: we absolutely did not want to default to the standard 'awkward sway' we’ve seen co...
uples do at so many other weddings. We wanted our first dance to be a true reflection of our relationship—fun, dynamic, and unforgettable. That’s when we found Chad, Roni, and Brisa, and hiring this incredible trio was easily one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding.
From day one, they completely elevated our vision and took our confidence to the next level. We came to them with a wild idea: a custom mash-up of three completely different songs, packed with our own crazy antics and big personality. Instead of steering us toward something easier, they embraced our vision completely. Chad, in particular, was an absolute rockstar. He expertly guided us through the complex transitions, broke down the choreography so it was stress-free to learn, and patiently helped us polish every single move until we felt ready to own the floor.
The result was nothing short of magic. On our wedding night, our first dance was a total showstopper. Seeing the surprise on our guests' faces and having so many people come up to us afterward with glowing compliments is a feeling we will never forget. It set the absolute perfect, high-energy tone for the rest of the reception.
But what truly sets this team apart goes far beyond their undeniable talent as choreographers. In a wedding industry that can sometimes feel overwhelming and transactional, Chad proved to be one of the most genuine, authentic, and kind-hearted people we had the pleasure of working with. He didn't just see us as a booking; he became a true friend who was deeply invested in our happiness.
Between their incredibly open communication, warm atmosphere, and perfectly reasonable pricing, they made our dance lessons feel like a fun date night rather than a wedding chore. Chad, Roni, and Brisa didn’t just teach us a dance routine—they gave Michael and me a beautiful bonding experience and helped us create a core memory that we will cherish forever. If you want instructors who will pour their hearts into your big moment, look no further. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
Chad & his team are first dance magicians! My husband and I loved working with them to craft our perfect wedding dance. You can tell that Chad loves what he does more than anything...
and he truly pours his heart & soul into helping his couples. His services (including private lessons!) are very affordable and so worth the investment.
Chad and Brisa were so fun to work with! They are the best!

He was so patient, kind and great at communicating before, during & after.
They were Very professional and worked with us with our song, our insecurities, nerves & no dancing experience lol.
Definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great first dance and I was very grateful to check that worry off my list.
Thank you, Chad you guys were great. Definitely appreciate it.

me we spent with him. Chad was flexible in providing us with lessons as we had about six weeks to learn a first for our wedding. He even drove up to our venue in Apache Junction so we could practice on site. Chad years of experience shines through in all that he does. He’s an amazing instructor and also an amazing individual and we cannot say enough great things about him. Chad you made our wedding truly memorable and we are forever grateful.
I had never had formal dance lessons before, so I was very reluctant to the idea of dance lessons. I’ve always had a good rhythm and am a pretty good dancer. So I figured we’d be f...
ine winging and just practice with each other. Thankfully, I listened to my wife (fiancée at the time) because our first dance turned out perfect! Chad is a fantastic dance instructor and made learning ballroom dance fun. There is zero chance our dance would have turned out the way it did if we had tried it on our own. I would highly recommend Chad to anyone and everyone! He was able to help teach me what I needed to know and feel a bit more confident about that special moment on our big day. Because of the lessons, I truly enjoyed that special moment rather than stress and worry about it. Chad is absolutely the best!!!
Dance with Chad made our wedding first dance an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, Chad and Roni truly went above and beyond to create a dance that felt uniquely us. T...
hey took the time to get to know us as a couple, our personalities, and our skill levels, and designed a routine that was both beautiful and fun.
Having two instructors was such a smart approach. Roni worked with me and explained things in ways that resonated perfectly with me as an auditory learner. She broke everything down step by step in a way that was so easy to follow. Meanwhile, Chad focused on teaching my husband with a more hands-on approach, which really clicked for him. This method of dividing the roles was incredibly effective, and it made learning the dance smooth and enjoyable for both of us.
What we loved most was how personalized the entire process felt. They met us exactly where we were, skill-wise, and made us feel so comfortable every step of the way. Our first dance ended up being one of the highlights of our wedding, and we owe it all to Chad and Roni.
We can't recommend Dance with Chad enough for anyone looking to create a truly special moment. Thank you for making our first dance magical!

iced, getting quality feedback with gentle direction. Chad and Brisa look for the little things that just make the dance that much better and are so creative, coming up with more unique or more advanced choreography as we built our skills. I highly recommend working with them! It made our first dance a dream of an experience!

t ease and teach you the fundamentals needed to get you dancing with your partner! All the while, they'll help you take all the steps needed to see you to your first dance on your wedding room floor!
My wife and I had considered several options for dance instruction, most of which were expensive and moved at whatever pace the instructors saw fit. By comparison, Chad, Brisa, and all of his fellow instructors make time for nearly everyone in the class, working to ensure how best to teach you and your partner. They constantly observe and help guide their students, making sure to help provide insight and work with each persons individual needs. Through this, I witnessed so many other attendees in the class become far more comfortable with themselves and with their partner as everyone moved to their own pace.
Chad provided a welcoming and enthusiastic approach for my (at the time) fiancée and I as we crafted our first dance. He respected all of our choices for what we wanted and helped us find the right kinds of moves for our song of choice! We were able to find so much inspiration in his classes, we also decided to take some private lessons with Chad and Brisa to help us get our dance practiced to a polished routine. All of this was a relief for us, as the business of wedding planning made it difficult for us to focus and remain calm! Chad, Brisa, and all of his fellow dance instructors deserve a bow for helping us make our wedding's first dance memorable, while also giving us all we needed to continue dancing into our future.
All of this story is to say once more: if you're nervous about dancing with your partner at any event, whether it be your wedding or even a different dance floor, please check out DancewithChad.com and join in on his classes for a fun, easy-going way to get your feet moving!
I relied heavily on reviews as I planned my wedding and I wanted to make sure I shared my thoughts on vendors that were vital in the success of our magical wedding day on 10.19.24!...
To prevent the awkward high school sway, we knew we needed dance classes! A quick google showed us a few options, but to narrow it down, I turned to the Arizona Facebook bride groups and saw an overwhelming amount of recommendations for Chad.
Working with Chad the last few months has been so lovely! My husband (ahh) thrived under Chad’s instruction. As a technical guy, my husband has a need for step by step instructions and Chad recognized this and made sure to accommodate.
We had a lot of laughs along the way and it was truly magical to see our confidence grow with each lesson.
Our song was a bit unconventional- Warmness On The Soul by Avenged Sevenfold. I was a little worried that dancing to a rock song may be tough but nope! Chad helped us take advantage of the big dance moments that fit well with the song. We played it several times as we practiced.
We had a lovely first dance with some adorable moves built in and even a little dip at the end! While there were a few adjustments and missteps because of my dress, we had the confidence to pull it off and make it look good! 🧡
We were lucky enough to work with Chad Lakridis for our wedding dance, and he was amazing! Chad was super easy to work with and made everything so much fun. Plus, he was really aff...
ordable, which was a huge relief.
You could tell right away that Chad truly cares about his work and his clients. He talked about how he hates how the wedding industry takes advantage of people, and he really wanted to help us out. It was clear he meant every word.
Chad was always available for a chat or to set up an appointment, which made planning so much easier. Thanks to him, our wedding dance was unforgettable.
Whether you're looking for someone to help with a wedding dance or just want to learn how to dance, Chad is your guy. He’s talented, patient, and genuinely cares about what he does. We can't recommend him enough. Thanks, Chad, for making our special day even more incredible!

que! For a bride with two left feet, I was so worried for our First Dance. I loved incorporating monthly date night classes where we could have fun and dance. Our First Dance was lovely and everything we could want. We look forward to visiting you both again, although now with our little one in tow. Many, many thanks and love!

d I do have to admit that we really didn't practice too much on our own either. Chad taught us different steps and turns and helped us put them together to create a dance and even though we didn't remember the dance completely, we were able to incorporate turns and different movements he taught us so that we weren't just standing there swaying in a circle. I definitely recommend working with Chad, even if you only have time for a few lessons. We learned so much in such a short amount of time and we felt so much more comfortable on the dance floor.
Working with Chad and Brisa was the highlight of my wedding planning. I went in with zero confidence and left the first session feeling on top of the world. They really listen to w...
hat you’re looking for and help choreograph an absolutely beautiful dance. The lessons were always fun and engaging but more importantly they helped create a better bond between my now husband and I. We went for dancing lessons but left with friends for life. Two years later we still find ourselves chatting with Chad looking forward to another session!
Chad and Brisa were wonderful to work with! We wanted an affordable dance lesson to show us a nice first dance away from the boring typical slow dance. They taught us a nice and si...
mple routine that wowed our wedding crowd. We were able to learn it within a few lessons, and they were patient at teaching us complete beginners. Also very reasonably priced compared to other companies. I highly recommend!
We're incredibly grateful to Chad for his guidance and expertise in preparing us for our first dance. Without his patient instruction and skillful choreography, we would have been ...
lost. Despite our lack of experience, Chad made us feel completely at ease throughout both the group weekly lessons and the private sessions.
From the outset, Chad assured us that our lack of dance experience was not a hindrance but rather an opportunity to create something truly special. His reassuring demeanor helped alleviate any fears or anxieties we had about stepping onto the dance floor.
The affordability and convenient timing of the classes allowed us to consistently attend every week in the months leading up to our wedding in March (which we started in January). Chad's teaching style made the lessons easy to understand and enjoyable, even for beginners like us.
We wholeheartedly recommend Chad's classes to any couple preparing for their wedding or simply wanting to learn how to dance together. His expertise, patience, and encouragement were invaluable to us, and we're so grateful for the unforgettable memories he helped us create on our special day.
I can't say enough good things about Chad and Brisa. They were so kind and so patient with my (now wife) and I. They clearly care very deeply about helping people learn to dance ...
and enjoy themselves in the process. You won't find anyone better to work with you and teach you. I wholeheartedly recommend these outstanding people. You won't be disappointed.

ugh body language and subtle ques while having fun and enjoying a night together at the same time. Chad also took time to listen to our first dance song and help link the steps we had quickly picked up on while adding a few extra bits of flair that really made things fun. I would highly recommend him not only for wedding dancing but also as a great date night out and chance to do something different while learning a new skill and getting closer with your partner.
Chad and Brisa are amazing dance teachers filled with so much knowledge and passion. They truly helped us choreograph the perfect 1st dance, as well as, farther daughter dance! Our...
photos came out amazing because of their tips and tricks. Highly recommend!
Chad and Brisa went above and beyond to make our wedding dance special! When our friends saw us make our entrance, and saw me in my dance shoes... They KNEW something was going on....
I had some dance experience but my husband.... Did not. My husband is 6'5" and I am 5'3". I thought finding ways to allow us to move in sync with each other would be difficult.
Chad and Brisa showed us how to work together so that I didn't look like I couldn't keep up with his long legs and he didn't look like he was the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Not only did they give us the gift of an amazing, STRESS-FREE, and fun set of classes, but they have us SO MANY MEMORIES!
Whenever we are at an event, or a wedding, and a song comes on.... My husband doesn't hesitate!!!!!!! He takes my hand and looks at me the same way he did on our wedding day!
THANK YOU CHAD & BRISA
Chad and Brisa were fun to work with. We learned great skills to help us with dancing and our first dance was a hit at our wedding! 😁

other and enjoying the weekly break out of normal to learn something new, improve our marriage, and gain a skill that we can take with us to any event that will make us both feel so much more confident. With neither of us having any dance training in our background, we needed some dance move "vocabulary" to create with. Now we are finally doing that! Some day we will have enough phrases to write our story on the dance floor. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had tried dance lessons before at other places and were a bit nervous about finding a good fit. We are so glad we ended up with Chad! They were so patient and encouraging.

h was wonderful because it really helped my fiancé feel extremely comfortable on thr dance floor, as he was very nervous prior to the lesson. after our first dance at our wedding, we were told we looked like dancing with the stars pros by those at our wedding. We loved working with them so that we did more than just twirl around like we were at a high-school dance ;)
Do yourself thr favor and get the lessons. You will be very pleased you did. :)

yes - our dance was everything we had hoped. We would highly recommend!
If you don't dance, don't know how to dance, or feel confident about dance I don't recommend Chad and Brisa.
I wholeheartedly recommend Chad and Brisa. 100%. (Got you there, huh?!...
???).
My husband and I are renewing our vows and I didn't want us to look like idiots during our first dance. Neither of us are dancers. In fact, here's a secret: I took Intro to Dance in College and it only reinforced to me that I definitely had no ability or aptitude for dance.
Through an FB Wedding group, we were so fortunate to have been connected to Chad. We decided to e the 6 wk dance classes that he offered incredibly affordable through the Red Mtn Multigenerational Center in Mesa. In addition to Chad, he also had Brisa and Roni to help instruct the lessons. This was so helpful because each instructor was able to spend individual time with each couple. This was extraordinarily helpful because if you didn't grasp a concept, you had 2 other teaching perspectives to help you.
While the lessons were cheap, the quality of instruction was not. Immediately, Chad was able to remove the intimidation that comes from dancing, especially when you believe you can't dance. I also really appreciated the free lessons Chad would give us. He would text us and ask if we could come earlier every week. We live an hour away from the community center, but the progress we made was worth it. Plus, it was very fun.
My husband and I are able to dance, and we've discovered that we're actually good at it. I can't thank Chad, Brisa, and Roni enough for their instruction. Trust me, you want to definitely contact Chad ASAP.

idn’t flub the first dance on our wedding day, has turned into a long lasting friendship. In fact we are still taking lessons with them post wedding! We will continue to take lessons with them for years to come :) So much fun!

This is hands down the only people you will ever need
to take lessons from!! Loved every minute of working with these two!
We saw Chad and Brisa at practically all wedding events we went to, so we knew they had to be good. We were looking to feel more comfortable on our day with just a few extra moves we could do other than sway back and forth. They taught us our first dance that was a mash up of two very different songs. We learned so many good principles of dance that we can apply all our lives anytime we want to dance. This isn’t just an investment for the wedding day, but for the rest of your lives.
We took 10 private lessons. We had so much fun on our wedding day and our audience was impressed with our dance. We would do it again in a heart beat!

ain complete beginners like ourselves. They start with the very basics and teach you the mechanics behind each and every step. With their easy-going personalities and expert training, you will soon be spinning around and doing moves that you never thought would be possible- especially for your first dance! We get married this coming weekend and are not at all nervous about our dance thanks to Chad and Brisa. If anything, we have had a fabulous time in all of our lessons and are greatly looking forward to seeing our friends' and family's reactions! Thank you Chad and Brisa!
Chad was awesome. We were very nervous about our first dance and thought lessons would be difficult and time consuming, but Chad worked with our hectic schedules and met us at our ...
house for one on one lessons. We ended up taking three lessons each lasting about an hour. Chad was delightful to work with and made us feel very comfortable. After our first dance we got loads of compliments, guests were still talking about how beautiful our first dance was weeks later. If you are looking for lessons for your first dance we would absolutely recommend Chad.
Chad was an amazing instructor! My wife and I were nervous about our first dance so we decided to reach out to Chad and we couldn't have been more pleased. He worked with our crazy...
schedules and helped us choreograph a dance to one of our favorite songs. He brought a fellow dancer (Brisa) to our lessons to show us the moves, which allowed us to watch the dance be done correctly and then my wife and I could both pair up and feel the correct movements. Neither of us have ever danced outside of incredibly uncoordinated booty shaking but in a few short lessons we were able to move and adapt as needed. Working with Chad was a pleasure and I suggest anyone looking for some instruction give him a call. My wife and I are still talking about going back for lessons just for fun now that the wedding is over! Cheers!

Chad is a gem to work with: patient, kind, and caring. He truly cares about dancing and loves to see that joy in others. My wife, her parents, and I all hope to maintain Chad's lessons, as we want to go to local places and dance (2-step, waltz, who knows!).
While I know weddings have a lot of costs, I would highly suggest even doing ONE lesson with Chad! You would be amazed and probably re-budget afterwards!

ble dancer, and my husband and I managed to pull off a fun first dance after only a few weeks of lessons with Chad and Brisa-- I can't tell you how many people complimented us afterwards! They will work with any experience level, and will set your mind at rest. If you're nervous about dancing in public, you should absolutely give them a call.

could not be more pleased with the results. Chad has wonderful teaching skills and makes things that are quite challenging absolutely doable for people from all backgrounds, including those that have no dancing skills! Brisa is also terrific to work with and spent a great deal of time helping us to perfect our dance moves. We came to enjoy our lessons so much and really looked forward to the next one. When our wedding day actually came, my husband and I both felt that one of our favorite parts of our beautiful wedding was definitely our first dance! Feeling confident and knowing we could show off our skills made it so much fun and so very special! I would recommend Chad and Brisa for anybody interested in bettering their dancing skills. They are absolutely wonderful!
We will be forever grateful!

My wife Laura and I got married 14 years ago and we took Lessons with Chad. Our wedding was two thousand miles away and the event was largely shaped by our families that were clos...
e to the venue where it was held. Our first dance was a waltz that turned out to be the pinnacle of our evening. It was the one thing that Laura and I could work on together remotely while the others prepared for our wedding back home. It was nice for us to work on something together and no one back home even knew we were taking lessons. When we swept out onto the floor and swooped around with “under arm turns” and even a “lunge”, people were gob-smacked! One little niece even asked her grandma, “is that Cinderella”. Since our wedding, my wife and I have kept up a love of Ballroom dance and have taken classes all over the world. We’ve appreciated the ability and skill that Chad has, which is second to none, and we appreciate his ability to teach at the finest levels and our level, which was just some beginners who wanted to have a special day, be a little more special thanks to a little preparation with a one of a kind teacher. Thanks Chad! Don Purcell

le and at ease, not to mention EXCITED to learn! He is great at communication; quick and thoughtful responses every time. I called around to other places but Chad by FAR offered the best price around - and I don't think we would have gotten anywhere near the personalized attention, flexibility, and just downright niceness from any of the other dance companies. Thank you for everything, Chad!
