Lori is a fantastic dance instructor who made us strive to have a flawless performance at each new dance lesson! Adrián, Lori and I started out as strangers but towards the end of the 14th lesson, it was the beginning to a great friendship. We wanted Lori to experience a true Mexican wedding and a chance for her to see her choreographed masterpiece come to life. So we invited her to our wedding in Mexico and she came! We were very happy and excited for her to be there and gave the performance of our lives for our first dance! From the sparklers shining bright to the last piece of confetti falling, our first dance was one that everybody will remember! Not only did she teach us our first dance, Lori also provided a choreographed dance for my mom and I. I chose the 4 lesson package for us, which was the perfect amount of time to learn a new dance and give a memorable performance for the mother and son dance at our wedding. We are forever grateful to have found Dancify by Lori. Dancing provided an increased sense of love towards one another, improved our connection and sense of well-being as a couple. Although our 14 lessons are over, it doesn’t mean that we will stop dancing. We are looking forward to our future lessons with Lori to learn different styles of dance and to have a great time! thought let’s just try it out and see how it goes - and I’m SO glad we did!! Lori was so much fun to work with, she made us feel very comfortable and we laughed with her a lot. Logistically, she was super flexible with scheduling, always on time for our lessons, and even came out to us late in the evening the week before our wedding for some last minute prep! I loved that she would come to our home, instead of us having to travel to a studio - that way, we didn’t have to feel like anyone was watching us practice. She genuinely cares about making sure your dance goes well - she even offered to speak with our band or DJ to ensure they knew the appropriate timing for the end of the song. My fiancé and I were not dancers by any means before we had our lessons with Lori, and now I feel like we have a first dance routine that we can really be proud of! In our initial conversations, Lori asked a bunch of questions to get a feel for what kind of a first dance we wanted- and she offers lesson packages to suit all different needs. For example, my best friend had Lori teach her and her fiancé the dirty dancing dance for her wedding - and it came out AWESOME! For my first dance with my fiancé, we wanted something more basic - but we wanted to be able to do something more than just stand there and sway - and Lori created something for us that was the perfect balance for our needs. Lori put the time in with us so that we’re able to have a first dance that fits us as a couple, and looks and flows naturally - instead of being awkward, and looking super rehearsed like we’re counting steps, etc. She teaches you the foundational steps, builds on it each lesson, and then helps you perfect the finer details so that your dance looks natural and comfortable. If you are debating getting dance lessons, or trying to find the perfect instructor, I highly recommend booking with Lori!!
