We hired Lori and took 6 amazing lessons with her leading up to our wedding. She was kind, patient and overall a great dance teacher. We searched far and wide for someone that would fit in our busy schedule so when we heard Lori comes to your home, we were sold. I cannot recommend her enough. She listens and really has a good eye to help you correct your moves and leave you feeling confident. She’s personable and just truly a joy to have as part of wedding prep! Hire her, you won’t be disappointed.

Lori is so great to work with! She made my fiance and I feel so comfortable as we prepared for our first dance. Neither of us had prior dance experience so we didn't know what to expect but she listened to our vision and created us a beautiful first dance. We can't wait to show off of our new moves to all our guests. Lori is super professional, always on time, and truly a joy to work with!

I found Lori while looking for a dance instructor for a wedding first dance. She responded promptly and we were able to arrange a schedule for all 10 of our dance lessons that worked with both my mine and my husband’s crazy schedules. She did the lessons in our home (amazing) and felt like an old friend as soon as she walked in. She never made us feel embarrassed for whatever form our home was in at the time and she even was kind to our dogs. We chose to do the 10-lesson package and we’re so glad we did. We looked like baby deer in our first lesson, and by the 10th the routine was second nature. Lori makes dancing fun and she was able to get my normally introverted husband out of his shell. We aced our first dance. I can’t recommend her enough and I’ll miss seeing her.

In a short amount of time, Lori choreographed a dance for my father and I for my wedding. She is a great instructor and helped me and my dad feel comfortable and confident with the choreography. It also helps that she is so fun to be around and by the end of our lessons — my parents were sad she wouldn’t be around anymore. The dance was such a hit and my dad did such an awesome job. My dad went from not knowing how to dance swing to looking confident and happy with the dance on the day of the wedding. I couldn’t have hired someone better than Lori. 1000/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a choreographer for your next event ❤️

Lori took us from folks with zero formal dancing to putting on a show that our entire wedding party loved. She was patient, gave wonderful pointers, and was flexible enough to adjust dance moves upon request. We loved Lori's lively personality. After a long day of work in a home that was under construction, it was difficult to find the energy to practice dancing. Our moods would make a 180 once she entered our home. Thank you for all that you've helped us, Lori. You will be the go-to dancer I will be referring to friends to help choreograph their special moments.

Absolutely spectacular vendor. Lori was phenomenal, patient and so worth our time with her. We hired her for our first dance and we were blown away. We did the the 14 lessons - and we wish we could have done more, just because we loved our time with her! She designed an amazing first dance and the multiple lessons helped us perfect it. We spent many a long hours with her and it never felt like work! We always had fun and she always went out of her way to work with our schedules, and our abilities. I had just had a recent surgery and immediately when I said something felt uncomfortable, she made up a new move on the spot. She is creative and talented and truly a wonderful teacher! Everyone should hire her for their first dance!!!

Lori was amazing! My Wife and I are not dancers. We like to have fun on the dance floor, but we wanted something special to present and remember for years after our first dance. Lori was so kind as to choreograph the whole dance for us. She worked with us for multiple weeks and we were so happy to have her apart of our wedding planning. She even went above and beyond to suggest how to coordinate our Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance. It was also so nice to have Lori come to our home where we felt most comfortable. Lori was great with both myself and my fiancé who were apprehensive about a first dance. She’s very personable and made us feel confident and comfortable, and we loved our first dance. Although initially unsure about whether to take lessons, we’re 100% happy we decided to work with her.

Lori was absolutely amazing! She responded right away when I reached out initially and within a few days we had our first dance lesson! She was so patient with my husband who wasn't a fan of dancing and by the end of it he was so happy we did it! We have an 8 month old baby who was always so excited when Lori walked in! If I could give 10 stars I would.

We love Lori!!! I have no words! I was so nervous about getting dance lessons for our wedding and my then fiancée was not into it at all. Lori is friendly and welcoming and immediately made us feel at ease. We laughed through all our lessons and really Enjoyed ourselves. My now husband keeps asking me if we can schedule lessons to learn how to salsa next!! You will not be disappointed with her service. the dance we did at our wedding was beautiful and she really understood what we were envisioning and made it a reality.

Just wow! Lori does NOT disappoint. Lori’s warm personality is the first thing to put you at ease and make you feel comfortable. She listened to exactly what we wanted and turned 4 left feet into something beautiful! My wife was not into these classes at first but did it so we could have a nice first dance at our wedding; by the last class, she had so much fun , we decided we may even take a class every few months as a date night, just for a good time! Lori is talented, patient, and a great teacher. Her coming to your home is just the icing on the cake. We went into this, stepping on each other’s toes and on our wedding day we felt so confident, comfortable and at ease doing our first dance. Last November, I wanted to purchase dance lessons for my daughter and her fiance as a Christmas gift to help with their September 2022 wedding dance. I looked on The Knot and read all the reviews and decided to reach out to Lori. Right off the bat, I knew she was the right choice! She was so personable, energetic and warming, which made me feel comfortable in my decision to purchase lessons with her. Well fast forward 10 months to September 4th 2022 and I can't even begin to explain how great their dance was, people are still talking about it! I even got to meet her when I stopped in at my daughters place during one of the dance sessions. Her personality is infectious, always having a smile on her face. She is patient and very thorough. She is a true gem and I can't wait to send her the video so she can see just how perfect it really was!!! Thanks Lori for making their dance a very memorable one!!!!

Having Lori as our dance instructor was the best decision we made! Both, my now husband and I, highly recommend her. She was amazing! Super skilled, approachable, and accommodating. Wow, where do I start. Lori was LITERALLY the best! She was too good for us! She was amazing, exceptional at her skills AND she was also such a funny, heartwarming person. She was so passionate at teaching that it was almost worth envying about. I have no complaints about Lori; my husband & I really enjoyed our time with her. It didn't feel like our dance lessons with her were a task or chore. We truly enjoyed every single lesson with Lori. She becomes your friend at the end of the day. 15/10 highly recommended for all those couples looking to find something simple, yet elegant first dance!

My wife actually found Lori on the knot and she was so easy to talk to. Within a few days, we scheduled our first lesson and she was extremely easy to work with in terms of scheduling and overall teach techniques! She choreographed an amazing first dance (2 song combo) and even thought about the finale which was such a hit with all our guests. We can’t recommend Lori enough! Lori is amazing!!! My husband and I hired her to create a fun first dance for us. We used the song Call Me Maybe, and she choreographed such a fun piece for us! She was so accommodating to our schedules, and she made the process fun and easy. My husband is not a big dancer, and she was so patient with him. She made the moves simple for us to learn, yet they looked complex! She listened to what we wanted and she delivered!! Our guests LOVED it!

Adrián and I were looking to hire a dance instructor to help us choreograph the most magical first dance every couple dreams of. We came across Dancify by Lori on the Knot and what caught our attention was that she comes to your home for the dance lessons. This was perfect because you don’t have to worry about bystanders watching every move you make and you get your own private lesson in the comfort of your own home, unlike going to a dance studio. Dancify by Lori offered a variety of dance packages, all at a reasonable price and she was very quick to respond to any messages and concerns we had. We chose the 14 (1 hour) lesson package that included a full choreographed routine. Lori is a very outgoing person with a bubbly personality and infectious laugh. From our first lesson to last, she was always punctual and made us feel relaxed performing new dance moves. She was willing to stay longer than the hour to make sure we have perfected each and every move! Lori is a fantastic dance instructor who made us strive to have a flawless performance at each new dance lesson! Adrián, Lori and I started out as strangers but towards the end of the 14th lesson, it was the beginning to a great friendship. We wanted Lori to experience a true Mexican wedding and a chance for her to see her choreographed masterpiece come to life. So we invited her to our wedding in Mexico and she came! We were very happy and excited for her to be there and gave the performance of our lives for our first dance! From the sparklers shining bright to the last piece of confetti falling, our first dance was one that everybody will remember! Not only did she teach us our first dance, Lori also provided a choreographed dance for my mom and I. I chose the 4 lesson package for us, which was the perfect amount of time to learn a new dance and give a memorable performance for the mother and son dance at our wedding. We are forever grateful to have found Dancify by Lori. Dancing provided an increased sense of love towards one another, improved our connection and sense of well-being as a couple. Although our 14 lessons are over, it doesn’t mean that we will stop dancing. We are looking forward to our future lessons with Lori to learn different styles of dance and to have a great time! I never usually write reviews, it I had to here because Lori is awesome!!! At first, we weren’t really sure if we wanted to get dance lessons for our first dance or not - but we thought let’s just try it out and see how it goes - and I’m SO glad we did!! Lori was so much fun to work with, she made us feel very comfortable and we laughed with her a lot. Logistically, she was super flexible with scheduling, always on time for our lessons, and even came out to us late in the evening the week before our wedding for some last minute prep! I loved that she would come to our home, instead of us having to travel to a studio - that way, we didn’t have to feel like anyone was watching us practice. She genuinely cares about making sure your dance goes well - she even offered to speak with our band or DJ to ensure they knew the appropriate timing for the end of the song. My fiancé and I were not dancers by any means before we had our lessons with Lori, and now I feel like we have a first dance routine that we can really be proud of! In our initial conversations, Lori asked a bunch of questions to get a feel for what kind of a first dance we wanted- and she offers lesson packages to suit all different needs. For example, my best friend had Lori teach her and her fiancé the dirty dancing dance for her wedding - and it came out AWESOME! For my first dance with my fiancé, we wanted something more basic - but we wanted to be able to do something more than just stand there and sway - and Lori created something for us that was the perfect balance for our needs. Lori put the time in with us so that we’re able to have a first dance that fits us as a couple, and looks and flows naturally - instead of being awkward, and looking super rehearsed like we’re counting steps, etc. She teaches you the foundational steps, builds on it each lesson, and then helps you perfect the finer details so that your dance looks natural and comfortable. If you are debating getting dance lessons, or trying to find the perfect instructor, I highly recommend booking with Lori!!

Lori has been a blessing for both me and my fiancé. She has been very accomodating and flexible in not only scheduling but upon meeting up for our dance lessons in these uncertain times. Most importantly she wasn't just masterful in teaching us (complete dance novices) not only our most important wedding dance, but also dance technique in general so we can be presentable at any events where one needs to let the hair down.

Lori exceeded all expectations! We contacted her with a unique request to help us casually choreograph a father/daughter dance and she was amazing. She had us feeling so comfortable and relaxed. She was super responsive when contacting her and customized to our request. Highly recommend!!!!

Lori choreographed my first dance with my husband for our wedding. She was very accommodating and worked around our busy schedules. Lori was very patient with us and really took the time to make sure the dance was perfect being neither my husband or myself knew anything about ballroom dancing. She made it fun and we looked forward to every session! In the end the dance came out great and our guests couldn't stop talking about how professional we looked. I would recommend Lori to anyone who is looking to wow their wedding guests or just wants to dance!

In 2017 I was marrying the love of life but unfortunately we had two left feet as a couple ! We wanted our first dance to be magical and with a lot of people watching us dance we knew we needed someone to help us ! So we call lori ! She came to our home we pushed over our coffee table and she got started right away !
