Dancing Pines is among Truckee Tahoe's most unique outdoor wedding venues. Our secluded twenty-acre property sits on the banks of the Little Truckee River while our site’s simple and elegant design allows clients complete creative freedom.
Full-day site rentals allow clients to enjoy the property throughout the day and at their convenience. Our site accommodates up to 150 guests featuring a charming riverside ceremony site, large patio for cocktails, a relaxing fire pit lounge area and 7,000 square feet of lawn for dinner and dancing.
Weddings at Dancing Pines include more in the base price than any other facility in our area. While other venues may charge up to 25% in services charges and tax on the entire amount, our packages and a la carte offerings are all-inclusive. We offer a range of packages including private elopements, intimate ceremony gatherings, BYO packages and all-inclusive events.

stant emailing about certain details (I was a very type A bride). All the guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. If you don’t mind having your wedding 100% in a outdoor, no service area, this is the place you should have your wedding 1000%. My new husband and I will never forget the beauty of this venue.

her organization, professionalism, and day-of coordination were superb. My now-wife and I both cared a lot about the "flow" of the event (i.e., making sure guests were never confused about what was happening, where to go, or when their next food or drink was available). As both venue owner and wedding day coordinator, Liz is uniquely knowledgeable about the property and WOW did she help us bring our vision to life. She knew to ask questions about ceremony and reception aspects that we hadn't even considered and were so glad to be working with such a pro throughout the process since we hadn't hired a separate wedding planner. On top of all of the amazing professional service Liz and her team provided, she's just great to work with in general. As soon as we arrived on the property, it felt like we were talking to an old friend.
As soon as our guests started arriving they constantly kept coming up to us and asked, "How did you find this place..." in the best way possible. Dancing Pines really is a magical place and I have to pinch myself to think that it's now part of our story and are welcome back anytime. If you have the opportunity to plan your wedding here, DO IT. You will not regret it.

The venue was private, quiet, and romantic, and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to get married. We had so many guests come up to us telling us it was the 'best wedding they've been to', and it wouldn't have been that without Liz. Her entire team made sure we were taken care of all night and that everything was running smoothly. We had the best night of our lives, and we owe it all to Liz and Dancing Pines.

z, the proprietor, and her husband Brian are amazing and really seem to go out of their way to make sure everything is just right.
The staff: My now-wife was stressed out over a million different things but Liz really did an amazing job assuring her that everything would be fine, and followed through on that promise. Liz understands that different people are going to want different things, from decorations to food to timing and all of that and she really kept things on track and moving (the ceremony, photos, dinner, etc). The vendors we worked with all had great things to say about Liz and Brian as well. We forgot a bunch of stuff there and Liz communicated with us to make sure we could grab it all.
The venue: The venue itself is awesome. If you're an outdoorsy type, this is the perfect venue for you. With the Little Truckee River running in the back of the venue and all of the trees and greenery surrounding the reception and cocktail areas, the secluded feel of Dancing Pines lets you and your friends and family enjoy the day/night without people gawking or randoms walking around trying to cop a free beer. Even my dude-bro type friends commented on how "pretty" everything was.
The TL;DR version: Dancing Pines is great and you should get married there.
