There were a few things we decided to change on the day and she was the one that actually found the picture and figured out how to change my hair so that it fit my vision more! She understood my vision and figured out how to execute it way better than I could have imagined or explained! She also was so fast on the wedding day! She ran ahead of schedule but everyone's hair was flawless and everyone loved it! She is also very chill and very kind and was a pleasure to have around on the day of the wedding! Could not recommend her enough!!

Kat in particular really understood what I wanted to look like as a bride and the way I look in my photos and how beautiful I felt as a bride are a huge thanks to her. detailed schedule for the day-of which was SO helpful with planning our timeline. In total we had 11 girls receiving hair/makeup services for our big day, including myself. At first I was worried about having enough time to get everyone done by our deadline of 1 PM. Not only were we ahead of schedule all day long, but our hair and makeup team actually finished early which was SO awesome. We had Kim, Becca and Audra, and they all did beautiful work. Kim was my artist and she had also done my trial as well as my hair and makeup for my bridal shower. She absolutely outdid herself, I couldn't believe how perfect my hair and makeup looked for my wedding. She completely exceeded all of my expectations. She also did an incredible job with my mom’s hair and makeup as well. I’m SO glad we trusted Daneene & her team for my big day, we were in the best hands!

feedback and making sure I was happy with my look. I was looking for a very low-makeup look and wanted some tweaks from what we did in our trial. Kim took lots of very specific notes about what we should change, and everything was exactly as I wanted it on my wedding day! I had never felt so beautiful while still feeling like "me." My hair was also so gorgeous. And Kim was just so fun to hang out with, too! At this price point, I think this team is an absolute steal and would absolutely recommend them!

every strand of hair lay. I felt beautiful during my wedding day and took into consideration my comfort as I don't normally wear makeup or do my hair and it didn't feel heavy or overdone at all. She even went above and beyond and stayed late to help me and MOH into our dresses and she even had crochet hooks to help button up my dress and strap on my shoes. Super grateful that Aiko was there in the getting ready room with me to make it calm, relaxing, and stress free.

o be my artist. She's so talented and nice and when she did my hair and makeup for my trial, I had no notes for changes at all (which never happens!). Based on the number of people I had getting services (9), Daneene assigned 3 artists total to our group, which was nice because we didn't have to start super early. For the wedding day, Kat and Jessenia were the other artists that worked with us. They did a good job listening to what the bridal party wanted and were patient when tweaks were requested. They were also fun to speak with! All artists were done with the services when we needed to be. I liked my hair and makeup even more on the wedding day than at the trial, which I didn't think would be possible! I would highly recommend Daneene Jensen & Associates!

She really listened to what I wanted and we had to make some changes compared to my trial day of b/c my skin was super dry and she was super helpful and flexible- she wanted me to look my best even if it took some extra time! We had a fairly big party and they team ended up sending 3 artists total so we weren't having to wake up at the crack of dawn which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

udra did hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, mom, MIL, and me on the wedding day, and they were equally great to work with. Everyone looked beautiful and loved their hair and makeup. The styles held all day, and everyone's makeup still looked perfect at the end of the night after lots of dancing. Both Jennifer and Audra were really great with the flower girls (ages 5 and 6), too - super gentle and very patient! We had a great experience, and I would highly recommend this team!

y, Becki, May, and Kim and they were all wonderful. Becki was assigned to do my bridal hair and makeup and was incredible. We ended up doing two trials so I could see how the changes we made would turn out, and I was super pleased after the second. She took all those suggestions and the end result on wedding day was just gorgeous. I was happy with every detail. Becki was warm, really easy to talk to, and patient with all my suggestions.... I just love her so much! I absolutely recommend Daneene Jensen & Associates.

and I truly cannot in good conscience recommend this team to any bride. The make-up is fine and this review is not so much about the artists talent, but for the overall experience and service you get. For the money you are paying there are so many other options. I initially booked 16 services (hair & make-up service for a total of 8 people ). Daneene sent me an schedule where only 2 artists would be sent (Sol & Jeanette) that went from 8:30am start - 1:40pm, and actually missed a make-up slot for one of my bridesmaid by accident. I had to point this out to her. I also asked if a 3rd artist could be sent to shorten the time it took for all of us to get ready and was informed no artist was available. About 1-2 weeks later, I asked if I could add 2 more services for a 9th person. Daneene said 'yes' and said she'd send a 3rd artist. It felt very disingenuous to me that the 3rd artist was only sent because I asked for 2 more services. To be honest, I would have been happy to pay an additional fee if that was required to speed up the getting ready time to send an additional person - but what she told me was "no one was available." Additionally, she sent me a venmo payment request of $45 on my wedding day while I'm getting my hair done, when one of my bridesmaid requested an up-do instead of the planned pixie style. Completely in her right to do - but seriously? You can't wait till the next day or something? I've already paid over a thousand dollars - is that what the bride really needs the morning of her wedding? Finally - my make up artist was 1-2 hours late to my hair & make-up trial scheduled at her home studio. I live out of town and it took us 2-2.5 hours to get to her home studio, only to wait another 1-2 hours for her. I get that things happen, and in insolation this incident would have been fine, but when coupled with the rest of the little things about - the totality of my experience with Daneene Jensen & team was just awful.

Daneene got us 3 stylists who all arrived on time, worked efficiently but not rushed and did a beautiful job with all of the women. Kat did my daughter’s hair and makeup and she looked (and felt) absolutely perfect. I got more compliments on my hair and makeup than I ever have in my life :-). Daneene was very responsive and easy to work with…I can recommend her and her staff without hesitation; they did a wonderful job. Kim K

t with disrespect. My hair and makeup artist was great to work with during my trials. She brought my vision of my hair and makeup to life and I was excited to have her do my hair and makeup for the wedding. I was assigned three artists the day of my wedding, one to do hair, one to do makeup, and one to do both hair and makeup (including my hair and makeup). Two of the artists arrived on time; however, the third artist arrived over 45 minutes late. I was assured that this would be not cause a problem as there was time allotted at the end for touch ups so we would finish up on time. The morning appeared to be moving nicely and all of the girls were happy with their hair and makeup. When it came time for me to have my hair and makeup done, my artist assured me that she checked our photographs from the trial the night before. She did my makeup wonderfully. The only upsetting part of my makeup was that the airbrush machine broke as she was doing my makeup and my white satin robe was ruined. She was apologetic and upset about this, and we moved on from this. However, she proceeded to not do my hair the way she had done it for the trial. She had not curled the hair in the same way so the bun looked a different way. Also, the bun was supposed to be at the base of my neck, but it was located towards the middle to the top of my head. I kindly informed her that I would like my hair to look a little more like what she had done at the trial and I was met with disrespect and unprofessionalism. She made several comments about not agreeing that it was different, although my bridesmaids also agreed that it looked different, and she complained the entire time while changing it by saying "it still looked the same" and "how was she supposed to do it any differently." After she redid my hair, I was very happy with it because it looked more like the photographs from my trial. I thanked her for redoing it. A few days after the wedding, I found out that she continued complaining about how this experience "was the first time she has ever been asked to redo hair." Also, the artist who arrived late admitted that she slept through multiple alarms and that was why she was late. One of my bridesmaids was still getting ready while this occurred so she overheard these comments. In addition to this, services were not completed until over an hour after they were supposed to have been completed (this was not due to me having my hair redone, but due to the artist who arrived late not finishing in time). Instead of wrapping up at 12:00pm, we wrapped up at 1:00pm, and I ran out of time to get photographs with my bridesmaids before having to leave for our ceremony. When I think back on the morning of my wedding, these moments stand out as frustrating and upsetting. Overall, I am very disappointed in the services I received and I would not recommend them.

She was also so helpful in putting flowers (provided by my florist) in my braid, just as I wanted. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend booking Daneene Jensen & Associates for hair and makeup services!!!!

and makeup artist was Aiko for my trial and wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend Aiko. She is extremely talented and skilled, but much more than that. Her attention to detail to EVERYTHING, not only hair/makeup made my wedding day. She was constantly touching up my 10 bridesmaids, even if she did not work on them, and even touched up my now husband for the photos. She went above and beyond her call of duty. She was with me throughout my photos and in the quietest moments of the day. She touched me up throughout the day, fixed my veil and outfit constantly for photos, and was with me when I had to hide and wait for all the guests to pass. She was with me during the quietest moments, which I appreciated so much since my mom has passed and she filled that void. Her full attention was on me. Since I had a lot of bridesmaids, our schedule got tight at the end while I was getting ready. Aiko remained calm and focused under extreme time pressure and again, her work was phenomenal. She was confident and poised. I also did an outfit and hair change during cocktail hour before the reception and again, she was there to help me get ready and worked so well under pressure. She truly made my wedding day. It would not have been the same without her. From my bridesmaids, I heard the other 3 hair and makeup artists were great (Alexandria, Audra, and Natalie). Their positive energy made the getting ready portion of the day a lot of fun. Overall, I highly recommend Daneene and her associates, especially dear Aiko!

We were ahead of schedule the whole day, which was very much appreciated - this gave the team a lot of wiggle room, and time for us to relax, enjoy the day, and get any touch ups done. Everyone looked stunning, and more importantly, Daneene’s team made them feel this way! Leading up to the day, my mom was a little nervous about getting her hair, specifically, done. She's had very short hair for over 30 years, and struggled to find pictures/ideas online of what she wanted to look like. Sol was able to use her own talent to do her hair (and makeup), and my mom LOVED it - and looked beautiful!! Similarly, my husband's mom was worried leading up to the weekend about potentially not loving how her hair/makeup could turn out, and went back and forth for a while about whether or not she should get it done - again, the team did an amazing job, and made her feel so comfortable!! Somehow, she was also able to keep her hair in and looking great for the Sunday brunch. I would highly recommend this team to anyone planning a wedding/event!

Alyssa and Briar were an absolute dream to work with on my wedding day! They arrived on time and fully prepared to style the hair of everyone in my wedding party including myself! Everyone looked absolutely amazing and my hair came out exactly as I wanted it to on my wedding day. It held the entire night and looked absolutely beautiful. Becca helped out with my maids and moms the day of, and she also created flawless hair and makeup per what my girls were looking for (some more natural, some more glam).
