based on the line that I came in interested in and offered excellent advice without being overbearing or pushing my decision one way or another. Once the dress came in, I also used d'Anelli for my alterations and I am so glad that I did. Having the process in-house from start to finish was a big stress reliever and the work that Elena did on my dress was phenomenal. It fit like a glove and fittings were simple and relaxed, even amidst the chaos of COVID. The biggest upside of being a COVID bride is being able to wear my wedding dress twice, and I cannot wait to recommend d'Anelli to my Colorado friends for their own weddings.

She helped me find my dress and then did all of the alterations herself (I can't tell you how great it is to have the consultant be the one who will do your alterations because they can tell you exactly what is possible, how they'd do it, etc.). She did an absolutely incredible job. They handled the COVID situation so well. I never once felt nervous going into the store for fittings. I would highly recommend d'Anelli to anyone, especially plus size brides!!

viting. That all started with my specialist, Athena! I originally had 1 guest invited, but brought a second the day of (which is the max allowed during covid, and they ask ahead to ensure they can accomodate). We warned her as we walked in and she politely checked with her manager to make sure that could work. We got the green light and she swiftly offered us some champagne and allowed us to peruse some of the dresses to pick some favorites to try. She said, once she get the feel for what I like she will pull some others. I loved all of this as none of the other shops even offered us water, let alone champagne. It was also the only shop that allowed us to look at dresses. They limited our time doing so for safety, but it was nice to get to choose. One of my friends was with me all day and we had really nailed down the look I was going for and he was able to find the perfect dress. It was probably the 5th dress I tried on with Athena. She had gotten a feel for where the wedding would be and the style I was going for. She was able to add some accessories that just pulled the whole look together and made me fall in love with the dress!! I highly recommend d'Anelli's Bridal Shop to any bride to be! They have a lovely selection at great price points, wonderful service and staff, and even during covid they are able to provide you with the full dress shopping experience you were hopping you could have!!! Athena was amazing because she listened to what I wanted/liked and made the decision difficult for me because she kept killing it with the dress suggestions. Athena was professional and genuine because she always knew the right thing to say. Not in the way to make a sale, but she spoke from her heart. I went solo dress shopping, so her opinion meant a lot to me. She did not lead me astray! Further, I told Athena what my budget was and she did NOT bring me a dress outside of my budget, like other salons. The only time she did that is when I asked her to bring me a wildcard dress that I would never buy, but thought it’d be fun to try on! Athena was like the perfect friend to have present while you find your dress. I love that she listened to me. She made me feel like a close friend and not just another customer. I felt a real connection with her and the shop. d’Anelli is a clean bridal salon that is so cutely decorated! I think they have a dress for any body type, occasion, style and budget. I’m sad this wasn’t my first stop, but I’m so grateful that it was my last!

and friends go to through the shop and clip styles you want to try. They also pull some styles that will fit your body, but they put your needs and vision first. They also have champagne for the group. The bridal staff I had, Athena, was helpful, kind, and had wonderful suggestions that would fit with my style and comfort level. Their dresses are all easy to walk in, durable and comfortable! After I picked my dress and accessories, they keep you well informed with alerts to let you know when your dress, veil and accessories arrive. They set up your fittings and sent reminders for those as well! The alterations seamstress there was amazing and tailored the dress perfectly. I was nervous about having a strapless gown but she made it fit like a glove. Overall, d'Anelli was incredible! I loved my dress, and all their dresses have great value for amazing quality.

el like I was drowning. Most places dont like to undress the mannequin but when I showed interest in a dress, it was taken of the mannequin immediately, and it turns out that was THE ONE! There was 1 thing about my dress that I didnt love and she made sure I knew that we could change it. She suggested other dresses, stuff that i never wouldve even thought to try. She also dealt with my crazy family while we facetimed my grandma into our appointment. I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE!

if they both brought it, but that made us feel like I was not being given the same care (one group said to us that they were given it when they came in and sat down). I went to four different bridal stores, three in the Denver area, and unfortunately this was my least favorite and personal.

nelli and there were several gowns for me to actually try on and get the full bridal experience. Overall, I would still purchase a dress at d'Anelli's, however, please read below for my peronsal experience. The gown was beautiful and pricey, and I decided last minute to buy a veil with additional rush fees, as one should expect. Alterations were costly as well but comparative to other shops. I have mixed feelings about my experience now that our wedding day has come and gone. As a plus size bride I was fearful of not being able to even try on dresses at "normal" boutiques, but that wasn't the case at d'Anelli. However, I do wish the sales lady had been a bit more truthful or perhaps knowledgeable about my dress. (Please note, she was very nice and did what I thought was her best at the time but is no longer employed there.) I purchased a very simple strapless ball gown. I was told that the chest would be covered more and would offer great support. I had about 3 alterations appointments with an amazing seamstress Elena but at the last appointment a comment was made that it was a good thing my long bra had additional boning as the boning in the dress may break throughout the night. And I had major cleavage going on. Adding lace would have made the dress look odd as there was no lace on the dress at all and as the waist had to be taken in, my chest became more prominent with each alterations appointment. If we didn't take waist in, the weight of the dress would pull the top down anyhow. Fast forward to the day of our wedding...my dress broke. Yep, my dress broke. The dress hook at the top of the dress straight up broke off and without the hook the zipper wouldn't stay up. I thankfully have a quilter as a grandma who came to the rescue and sewed me into my wedding dress. It all happened pre wedding photos and pre venue and I'm a pretty level headed person and didn't freak out. However, why wasn't the hook reinforced? Or an additional hook or alternative measure taken? I was very worried about even breathing at this point and felt uncomfortable a majority of the evening. There were also spaghetti straps we could add to the dress and I decided I wanted them after that upset, any extra measure to make sure my dress stayed on and up. Only, they didn't fit. They were too loose. Through all the alterations it was never discussed (not that I remember) to have my straps altered just in case. I kept the straps on a portion of the night but felt silly pulling them back up my shoulder every time they slid down and ended up taking them back off. Again, overall a good experience with a great staff!

in it for 8 hours, but the alterations wrinkled thr dress, not me and when you're spending 700 dollars on alterations you would expect the final product to look "final". To press the tail end of my dress would have cost me an additional 290 dollars on top of the 700 hundred I already spent on alterations. The Mens Warehouse produced a final, flawless, wedding ready product when we picked it up, why does wedding dress alterations have to be such highway robbery. I do not recommend this place, plus every seamstress I've met, has an iron and sewing machine working at the same time to get the lines right.. do go here! Even David's Bridal does it better!

The staff member that assisted me was so helpful, kind, and patient, and she offered wonderful suggestions as to what dresses I might like and what I could add to the dresses to make them perfect for me. After I picked my dress and accessories, they were very good at keeping me updated and were always very responsive when I had any questions. The seamstress that worked with me was also extremely sweet, and she really knew what she was doing. Overall, d'Anelli was incredible! I loved my dress and got so many compliments on it :)

s didn't do a thing. I had to clamp my sisters dress each time she tried one on because the consultant basically dropped us off in the dressing room and walked away. I was shocked at the customer service. We looked elsewhere but couldn't find another dress so we went back here to get her dress. They recommended we order a bigger size and therefore were charged extra. Funny thing is she had to have alterations because it was too big. When we went to pick up the dress it was extremely wrinkled. The customer service here is terrible. It's a bunch of teenage girls on their phones running the show. I'm surprised this place runs at all. I would not recommend D'Anelli to anyone!

From a disinterested, teenager who was relatively useless as a "bridesmaid consultant" to misinformation that led to multiple shades of colors to wrinkled dresses being distributed to my girls, I can't stress enough how terrible of an experience we had with this store. I will not recommend this place to anyone as there are so many better options that not only include a better atmosphere, but educated and professional employees who not only know what they are talking about but actually CARE about your wedding day! Update: My bridesmaids looked beautiful in their dresses despite the awful experience at D'Anelli!

I had to go back to try on the dress with my dad before we were able to buy it and they worked with us on timing and honored the sale that was running when I first tried it on the week before. The alterations department was also wonderful to work with, they took the time to walk us through how to lace up my corset and to make sure we could find all of the bustle loops. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress or formal dress.

after talking to the designer, D'Anelli was one of 2 places in Colorado that could get it for me. I did reach out to both stores to see how we could do this and truly D'Anelli was superb. When the dress came in to try on, it was love at first sight. The sales people were lovely and when my dress came in for the wedding, they were so great as well. I have to say that the seamstress who did my alterations was amazing too. They definitely made up for that one not so awesome interaction and were a pleasure to work with in the end.

und a dress that I loved and hadn't found anywhere else. Things went smoothly after the purchase, trying on my actual dress was different. My zipper broke and they needed to replace it, they did a great job getting that replaced for free and then alterations were great!

I was left to only try on 4 dresses, even though I was told to pull 6 to try on and was under the assumption that the first 6 I pulled were just my first set of try-ons. With the time restraint throughout my try-ons I was overwhelmed and disappointed that I unable to try on the other dresses I wanted to in the store. The consultant was going to end my appointment 10 minutes early to allow for me to change and touchbase with the receptionist, even though I had only tried on 3 dresses at that point and had told her I wanted to try on more. I did not realize there was a whole 10 minutes left (which was enough time for me to try on another dress) my bridesmaid mentioned the time left to the consultant and the consultant responded very rudely but did let me try on one more dress. I left D’Anelli with the intention not to make a second appointment (that was their recommendation since I was unable to try on more than 4 dresses in the 40 minutes) and to instead buy a dress that I liked from another wedding dress shop but that D’Anelli also carried and had a trunk show sale on it, from the other wedding dress shop without the trunk show sale because of my experience at D’Anelli and with the consultant who made me feel like she didn’t care if I found my dress or not.

mirror. There's not much selection for bridesmaids, flower girls, or mothers dresses sadly. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, and they even waited after closing hours for my maid-of-honor to rush over after work. They made the process very easy and exciting.

That is, until I went to D’Anelli. I went on a weekday, in the morning, with my mother (no big entourage) and we had a great experience. When we came in, we were greeted and offered water. I had a chance to describe my wedding, my dress ideas and my desired budget. Then we got to dig through the racks, which were well organized and labeled and pull out the dresses that we liked. The dresses came in a variety of styles (except not many “tea length” dresses) and price points. This store can totally work within a budget (my dress was considerably less than I was willing to pay), but I don’t think it is a “budget” dress shop. Those looking to spend less than $1000 may not have quite as much success, but I don’t know, as that wasn’t my situation. My consultant was helpful, unobtrusive and quietly observing everything. She helped me narrow down my “true” tastes (you know, the stuff you actually like on you, not just the stuff you WANT to like): ballgown, blingy and no lace. On our second round journey into the racks I found my dream dress. I knew it was mine because suddenly, I didn’t want to keep playing dress up. I didn’t want to try on any more. No big dramatic scene, no tears… I was just content and done. We took a few pictures, got it ordered and off we went Alterations was also amazing. After the dress arrived, I had to come back to the shop 5 times (and it was not a short drive), and I am so glad I did. Gloria handled my alterations, and while I only needed bra cups in the bodice and the hemline, the hem was a ton of work! She was calm, professional, warm and gave me great advice. I am so glad we decided to remove the train altogether, and I wish I had let her hem the dress just a little shorter, as I did step on it a few times. But, I looked amazing, and like I was floating through the gardens on the day of my wedding. She also helped me find a headpiece, totally last minute, by going through the “sale” bins. I appreciated her help, and got so many compliments on my (70% off!) hair accessory. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend D’Anelli Bridal in Lakewood to anybody searching for a wedding dress, veil or accessories. The staff was confident, professional, agreeable and fun. Alterations were perfect, everything was on time, and there were no surprises! Totally worth the drive. :-)

in house alterations. The shop was experiencing some ownership changes. As a customer with an appointment made 6 weeks out, I came into the middle of their disputes. I had a seamstress calling my personal cell phone to ask that I cancel my appointment and follow her as she left the business. I kept my appointment at d'Anelli, but on the day of, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled because they were in the process of firing that seamstress. I had to wait an hour for another seamstress who happened to have an opening that day. Judith, my new seamstress was nice, but after two appointments for only raising a lace hem, the hemline was uneven, but time had run out. This is not a detail that anyone noticed on my wedding day, but I paid ~$500 for this service. I was satisfied with my dress, but d'Anelli really had nothing to do with this. So, the services they provided me with were very unsatisfactory.

Carol was my consultant and she was very helpful - not pushy at all, offered real advice and input after letting my mom and sister give their input. I was so happy with the dress I found. Ordering it was easy, it came on in time, and I had no issues with picking the dress up before the wedding. I definitely would recommend D'Anelli!

alterations had been started. Celeste, the manager, was extrememly helpful. Sandy- the owner did nothing to help any of the brides who now were out $500 and their dresses had not been started. She is awful. How can you run a store like this? I would never recommend this store to anyone.

very nice and the lady I worked with was very helpful and professional. They seemed to have a wide variety of styles and a large price range. other stores I visited seemed to have either very inexpensive gowns or very pricey couture type gowns. I fell in love with a vintage style A-Line/Ball Gown lace dress that I hadn't seen anywhere else. I was measured twice and the gown was ordered. When it came in, the length was not right. On this particular dress the length comes in certain length measurements to order so that hemming isn't needed as it is lace with a scalloped bottom and would be difficult. When the mistake was addressed the staff was very nice and gave me different options. I ended up re-ordering the dress and they rushed it with no charge so it would arrive in plenty of time!! Overall my experience with D'Anelli was great and I would recommend it to any new bride!!

specific Maggie Sotero design and I asked if they could order it for me. They seemed less than thrilled at my request and wanted me to buy something else they did have in stock. I was underwhelmed by the initial experience, so i ended up going elsewhere to buy my dress.
