After another seamtress butchered my wedding dress, Scylvia was able to work her magic. I still have no idea how she fixed it but my dress fit me perfectly for my big day. I coul...
d not speak more highly of Scyvia and her work. I will never go to another seamstress again!
The quality of the alterations was great and the price was very reasonable. I called around and the quote I got from an independent, non-English speaking immigrant seamstress for t...
he same job, and she quoted me slightly more than what Danese Creations said they would do the job for. My only issue with this place is that the seamstress herself seemed to be kind of tired the day I came in--she was professional that day, but not the most personable. She did give the vibe that she knew what she was doing, though. However, on subsequent visits she was more cheerful and friendly than she was in the beginning. And even on that first visit the assistant was very friendly. So, it all worked out in the end. She knew what I wanted for my dress, and she did a great job.
I brought my mothers wedding dress to Silvia at Danese Creations. I wanted to make some slight alterations to the dress in order to fit me while trying to keep it as original as po...
ssible to wear for my wedding. I provided a drawing of what I would like the dress to look like and Silvia helped me hand pick silk fabric to add to the dress. My dress turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The dress was exactly what I wanted and then some! The dress fit me perfectly and it looked flawless. I was beyond happy with the outcome! This woman and her team know exactly what they are doing.
I brought a bride's maid dress here over 4 years ago. I'm really petite (I'm 4'11'' and a size 00), so bride's maid dresses are always a pain. For this one, I had to order the smal...
lest size (2), which was HUGE! Danese completely redid my dress and it is now my best-fitting dress. It feels like it was made just for me (which it kind of was)! Danese is a little expensive, but TOTALLY worth the money. They are professional and do amazing work. I just dropped off another bride's maid dress and I'm confident it will turn out great. :)
If you are a bride who can't find what she wants in a typical bridal boutique, then go see Scylvia!!! She made my dress totally custom, from the fabric to the design. She exceede...
d my expectations and was great to work with. I absolutely loved my dress. It was perfect for me and it reflected my style and personality. Scylvia rocks!
I was fortunate enough to have my dress be made by family members who are seamstresses. We bought the fabric from Danese, and were so amazed with the quality and weight of the fab...
ric. If you sew its a great shop to look at! If not, they can also custom make things for you too! So happy with this shop!
When I bought my dress, I knew I pretty much wanted the fabric and that was about it, and had even planned to go to L.A. to get the dress made into what I wanted. I was referred to...
Danese Creations, and to be honest, I actually got nervous during the process of my 4 fittings, where I pretty much requested something different to be done each time. Sylvia knows what she is doing, knew when to tell me what I wanted would not give me the affect that I wanted, and in the end - she CREATED the exact dress that I had envisioned. The one, reasonable price that she charged me was the one, reasonable price that I paid - she would not stop until I was happy. I also appreciated that they called me when they were running late so that I didn't race to get to the appointment and have to wait. Sylvia is a master and did whatever I requested - definitely recommend her if you want your own, original look!
