Dani was an absolute gem to work with! She was so prepared and helped to layout the perfect schedule, while also being incredibly flexible on the day of and more than willing to accommodate any additions. She was also incredibly steadying and helped to calm me down and reassure me throughout the day even when things weren’t going exactly according to plan. Not to mention her incredible talent for her photos! Every shot felt intentional and matched the overall aesthetic of our wedding perfectly! She was also incredibly timely in giving us our sneak peeks and gallery so I got to enjoy looking over all of our beautiful moments quickly. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat!

You will not regret booking Dani Keane!! I truly could not rave about her enough! From start to finish, working with Dani was an absolute pleasure! She was extremely helpful in working with us to customize a package that would fit in our price range and our needs. She was extremely helpful in creating a photography timeline and portrait shot list. The real magic happened on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, our wedding was in Western North Carolina the day after Hurricane Helene hit. Miraculously, Dani made the drive up from Charlotte to the wedding. She walked into a literal disaster zone. Nothing was going to plan, and the vibe of the day was chaos. That being said, you would never know from the gorgeous photos of the day. Dani was a calm, uplifting, and steady presence. She knew when to quietly take pictures but also when to get us energized and moving for a shot. My husband and I are pretty awkward with PDA, and Dani made us feel comfortable. She gave us the perfect amount of instruction to create beautiful and miraculously non-awkward shots. As expected, only about 1/3 of our guests ended up making it, but Dani and her assistant masterfully framed every photo so that you would never know the venue was mostly empty. She captured the love and joy of the day beautifully, and I will forever be grateful she was there. I felt at ease the second she arrived because I knew the day would be documented beautifully. We absolutely loved her mix of candid documentary-style photos with portraits. The photos turned out better than I could have imagined! On top of that, she was EXTREMELY timely getting photos to us! We had our sneak peeks the next day and our full gallery less than three weeks after the wedding! Thank you so incredibly much, Dani! You are extremely talented and great at what you do! I would strongly recommend Dani Keane photography to anyone getting married or planning an event they want beautifully documented. From our first consultation, Dani immediately added guidance and structure to the day that was greatly appreciated – as an experienced photographer, she has a great framework for the day, what to expect, and preparations to consider. Throughout the planning process, Dani was flexible as our plans adjusted – her detailed questionnaire helped shape the focal points for the day, but as ideas were added/removed, she was more than willing to help us adjust. All that to say, as a bride, I felt very supported by Dani throughout the entire planning process. On the wedding day, everything went even smoother than I could have imagined. I had printed out several copies of Dani’s shot list and timeline to distribute to the mothers/planner to help manage people for photos, but Dani and her second shooter had everything completely under control (even with 25-person family photos.)! My husband's family is a family of photographers, and they all expressed how impressed they were with Dani's confidence and professionalism. The team did a great job of moving us through family portraits/group portraits quickly so we could enjoy the wedding itself. Now for the best part in my mind – while Dani was a great leader/communicator during formal photos, she has also mastered the art of being in the background so you can fully experience the day/feel all the feelings. During moments like first looks or greeting guests during cocktail hour, she never stopped us to say “oh do that again” or “can you move this way?” – she adjusted as needed and captured so many more authentic moments than I could have asked for. Honestly after the ceremony, if it weren’t for the occasional camera flash, I wouldn’t have said a photographer was even in the room, much less two. We received our “sneak peeks” just 3 days after the wedding and they were stunning – Dani had carefully selected highlight moments from the day and shared the best Facebook portrait announcement and romantic candids in that folder. We just received our full gallery (VERY quickly I might add) and it’s incredible. The platform Dani uses to share photos is easy to manage and very visually appealing, she provides photos in high res for printing, and web sized for social sharing, and organizes them in sections for the flow of the day. We are so thrilled with the photos Dani took to capture such a special day – they are true to color and true to feeling.

Dani is truly the perfect wedding photographer for a couple that wants an authentic, editorial, chic snapshot of their special day. Her expertise in the wedding industry makes her more than the average photographer - she gave us a thorough day of timeline to help us get organized and prepare for what our wedding day would look like. Dani's communication throughout the planning process was top notch and she even gave us a template to help with planning family photos. My favorite part of working with Dani was her attitude. She was organized, efficient, understanding and emotionally in tune with what we needed throughout the day. Dani's art speaks for itself. She is so talented at capturing raw emotions and the heart of the day. We had Dani photograph both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day and we are so thrilled we have such stunning images from the entire weekend. We hired Dani for an anniversary shoot with our dog. From the very beginning it was easy to schedule a convenient time. She showed up on time and was ready to go. Our shoot went really smoothly. We felt comfortable taking her direction for various poses (even when they felt strange - but that’s half the fun). The turn around time for final images was quick and we are really happy with the results. There are so many great shots it’s been hard to choose a favorite. We’ll definitely reach out to Dani again the next time we need a session.

We absolutely loved working with Dani. Our engagement shoot went so well and we received so many photos that we adored. I have been working with Dani for over 3 years, as we postponed our wedding for 2 years due to Covid. Working with Dani was incredible! We did an at-home engagement style shoot with her and she captured my vision perfectly. I knew then that she was the right person to photograph our wedding. On the big day, she was so quick getting her shots - you can tell she's a pro- and gave easy to follow tips for posing. It ended up raining on our wedding day, but the shots that Dani got of us outside were so romantic and intimate. She captured all of the moments that I was hoping for and way more. Her editing style is natural, which I prefer. She was easy to get along with, responded quickly to messages, and got our photos back within the provided time frame. I'd 100% recommend her!

We first hired Dani for our engagement photos and she did a phenomenal job of setting expectations and prepping me. When it came to the day of, she made our session so much fun (yes, my husband thought so too!). She captured us and our dog perfectly. All our family members kept saying, “she made you guys look like models!” When it comes to a wedding you need vendors who bring their expertise and also listen to your requests. Dani did an unbelievable job of exactly that. She lead family members and friends with kindness and support. My favorite are all the photos she captured of us and our guests just being us. Whether it was at the ceremony crying, cocktail hour laughs, and dance floor fun she got it all. We see her photos everyday on our Amazon Show and it makes us smile. Dani is a must hire!!

Dani Keane is truly amazing ! Her editing style and her eye for photos is just perfection! We were able to take some photos at the roof top hotel and they are stunning. At the time of our engagement photos, my husband and I had never been in front of the camera before, and Dani made it so easy. I thought that it would be awkward posing in an intimate setting with my then fiancé, but she immediately made us feel so comfortable. We had such a good experience with Dani for our engagement photos, we knew we needed to have her for our wedding day, unfortunately after booking, Dani found out she was pregnant and going to be on maternity leave for the date of our wedding. The first thing that stood out to me about Dani was that she gave us 2 options- one was to go with her second shooter or we could get a full refund and find another photographer. I feel like a lot of business owners would not have given a non-refundable deposit back, regardless of the situation, so that really stood out to us about Dani. We loved our engagement photos so much and trusted Dani, so we decided to go with her second shooter who was working for her during her leave. Dani did such a great job of facilitating communication between us and the new photographer. I did not feel like she just handed us off to someone else at all, which was a concern I had when we found out she wouldn’t be taking our photos. We missed Dani on our special day, however she still was the one who edited our photos and we could not have been happier with the results. She was communicative and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She had us make a list of every photo we absolutely had to have and made sure that we got all of our pictures the day of (because any bride knows that we are not keeping track of that stuff on our wedding day). We got our photos back so fast, and it has now been 4 months since our wedding day and I still look through our pictures almost every day. Anytime I hear that someone needs a photographer, I recommend Dani. I will have Dani take our photos anytime we are in need of a photographer.
