Hire Dani Leigh as your wedding photographer - she's the best! Dani is phenomenal - plain and simple! She was professional and detail-oriented while also being fun and easygoing. She helped make our day enjoyable and stress free! You want someone you can laugh with on your big day, but also someone who is organized and on top of it -- she is both. We loved that she got the posed photos that we wanted but also made us feel so comfortable/at ease that she got many lighthearted and candid ones too. In the lead up to wedding day, we had a call or two with her to make sure our timeline and shot list were perfect, and she was really helpful in making sure we built in enough buffer time to not be stressed. We ultimately did a 12-hour package + engagement photos with her and have no regrets. The engagement session was a great way to get to know each other. Then for our wedding weekend, she came for 10 hours of the actual wedding day and 2 hours for our welcome drinks the night before. We are so glad we did it this way, because now we have photos from Friday and Saturday! We just got our full album, and our friends and family can't stop gushing about how amazing our photos are and how well Dani captured the entire weekend. We are so thrilled!

We cannot thank Dani Leigh enough for making models out of two of the most camera-shy people in existence! My husband and I both usually feel uncomfortable in front of the camera but Dani's charming nature, kindness, and witty humor allowed us to open up and truly enjoy taking our wedding photos. Dani did a wonderful job capturing our wedding! We had a very large wedding party which she was awesome at directing for our group photos. She felt more like a friend than our photographer - we had so much fun with her and the pictures turned out phenomenal!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Dani! She is a breath of fresh air! We pushed our wedding back one year due to covid and Dani was available and ready to stick with us through it all. She hopped on zoom calls and phone calls and met up with me to do a walk through of the venue. Really so easy to work with. Now, wedding day!! It was such an amazing day. I joked that she was a therapist too keeping us calm, cool and collected all day long. We absolutely loved our photos and cannot thank her enough! DANI IS THE BEST EVER!! The second we met Dani for our engagement photos it felt like we’d been friends forever. On behalf of my husband and I, we were INCREDIBLY thankful and impressed by Dani as our wedding photographer. She did so much for us in over 2 years of planning to help make our wedding weekend the most perfect. Going into our engagement and starting the wedding planning process I knew that photos would be the most important thing for me and I wanted to find a photographer that was easy to work with, and would make me feel at ease on the wedding day. We can definitely say that we found the best wedding photographer on the planet. From our engagement photo session, I immediately felt relaxed and felt like we could have fun taking photos when I usually am very worried and don't feel like I photograph well. We had so much fun on our engagement shoot day that I knew the wedding would be even better, and I was right. I was in my head worrying about our first look and the weather and Dani came in like a total pro, had scouted out a bunch of photo locations, and totally put my mind at ease when she was able to command attention from the wedding party and always knew what we were doing next. She has such a perfect personality for working in the wedding industry and is overall a great human being. She has a phenomenal eye for photography and our wedding photos turned about amazing. She went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our day incredibly perfect and I know we are going to have amazing memories to look back on for the rest of our lives thanks to Dani's amazing photos. I cannot recommend Dani enough. She was very easy to communicate with from the beginning. My husband and I were living in different parts of the world while planning our wedding and had not personally met Dani until the day of, but it didn’t feel like it! She is very easy-going, fun, and fit right into my crazy group. The second photographer, Teri, was also so great to work with! Dani returned the photos two weeks after our wedding and they were perfect. I hope we’ll be able to work with her for non-wedding pictures in the future!

Since the day we hired Dani, she was more than our photographer. She became our friend, as evidenced by my maid of honor saying on our wedding day, "your photographer is like both your friend!" Since we hired she took the time to get to know us during calls and over social media. We love Dani and would hire her 1M times over, she was the best energy on our wedding day. Just to further evidence how great she is, everyone in our wedding party that was already married told us she was the best and some said they wished their photographers were more like her!

If I could give Dani a hundred stars I would. She was AMAZING to work with on our wedding day. As someone who is not the most comfortable in front of a camera, (along with being very nervous!) she helped me feel at ease and kept me laughing with lots of jokes and sarcasm. It was like having another friend around. She also faired extremely well with the groomsmen who are a rambunctious bunch. She provided simple coaching along the way which I appreciated. Every moment from the day was beautifully captured and the pictures are natural and fun, not posed and stiff. Dani was absolutely incredible to work with. She was so much fun and made all our photos turn out so beautifully and naturally us! Dani also made the trip up to NYC to shoot our micro-wedding last year on our original wedding date, while our larger family gathering was postponed to 2022 due to Covid. I was lucky enough to meet Dani when she was the wedding photographer for a wedding I was in years ago. I remember being so happy with her attitude, her professionalism, and her spunk! She made my friend, the bride, so happy and as a bridesmaid that's all you want! Then, getting to know her as our photographer exceeded every expectation I could have had. And she did! She was with us every step of the way. My husband and I cherish her and her work, and we've found our photographer for life. Dani was recommended to us by a friend after our first photographer ghosted us! This ended up being such a gift because Dani was the best photographer we could have asked for. She stuck with us through two cancelled covid weddings and when we finally got married after so much time, she was just as wonderful as the day we met her. She really listened to us and made sure to get all of the shots we had asked for throughout the hectic day and made us feel really comfortable while taking our couple portraits. The pictures were so lovely and the ones of the dance floor were so much fun! She felt like more of a friend than a photographer and we felt so lucky to have her there.

You take a ton of pictures on your wedding day so you might as well have a blast while you do it. Dani was a blast to be with. My husband and I both were slightly nervous to have our pictures taken and literally ended the night begging her to be friends with us forever. Even our bridal party commented on how much fun she was. Not only will she make you belly laugh, but will capture you and your significant other perfectly. We both agree that she will be our “forever photographer” - for future life events, family portraits, etc. Our photos are so genuinely he and I and I love them so much.

Dani was a fantastic photographer for our micro wedding! From our first Zoom chat all the way through delivery of the gallery, she was helpful, communicative, and super friendly. She captured beautiful moments during our small ceremony and made us feel comfortable posing and goofing around afterwards. Dani was able to snap shots of everyone in a very natural way, and even as she stayed nearby the whole time, it almost seemed like she wasn’t there (except during our more posed photos where she got us chatting such that we didn’t even feel posed!). Dani is absolutely incredible. COVID-19 caused us to cancel our international wedding, and we ended up planning a backyard wedding in 4 weeks time. I feel SO lucky and grateful that Dani was available for our wedding. For a bride with little time to plan, she was super responsive and so flexible and helpful when we were considering delaying our wedding due to rain (fortunately the skies were clear!) I chose Dani for her fun, relaxed vibe and aesthetic that captured real moments - and emotion behind the picture - and boy did she deliver. The photos are amazing, warm, authentic, and she captured the colorful fairytale that I wanted perfectly. She made us feel super comfortable and relaxed, and we had a blast taking pictures with her. I can't recommend her enough, and can't wait to work with her again :)

Dani was the absolute best and we loved, loved working with her! She is down to earth and so easy to work with and her photos were just beautiful. My husband and I both loved the idea of doing engagement and wedding photoshoots and wanted great photos, but were worried it would be awkward at first! But nope! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dani. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. It started when I met with her prior to booking a photographer. We ended up sitting and talking for two hours! It felt like I was sitting and talking with an old friend. I immediately knew that she was the one we wanted tagging along with us on our wedding day. We could not have made a better choice. Next, she was able to help me convince my fiancé to do engagement photos (that he did not want to do!). Da bomb... is that still a thing?!? Let’s just say, if you love to laugh, want amazing shots, and have everyone drooling over your wedding photos... she’s the one for you! Fun is an understatement!! May be one of my favorite human beings!

I've left writing Dani's review for last because I've been actually unable to imagine being able to capture how phenomenal she is in one small review. Where do you even start?? From the very beginning we were nervous about pictures (we're not big picture takers most of the time) but right away during our first Facetime interview we knew everything would be fine and we were in perfect hands. She was so flexible about traveling for our engagement photos, coping with a rain reschedule and when the day finally arrived dealing with some super awkward nervous gigglers. She managed in a park full of visitors to capture stunning photos that make it look like we were the only people there and we had the most amazing time doing it! I was pretty sure nothing could get better and then the wedding happened. Not only did she capture every perfect moment of my sister shoving too much sandwich in her mouth and lay on the ground in the way of a wandering crocodile but she was literally the only person I wanted to interact with the first 15 minutes after we arrived at the venue when I was pretty sure I was going to throw up and explode all at one time. Not only was Dani perfect but her second shooter was equally fun and personable and easy going - the perfect person to take pictures of a crew of boys who were only partially on board with the picture thing. Not only are we totally in love with her but by the end of the day so were our families. She was so quick to remember everyone's names, and put everyone at ease. She is equal parts funny and relaxed but also firm enough to get everyone into place and the obligatory formal photos out of the way so you can go enjoy your party. She deftly handled a couple awkward family dynamics like they were nothing and everyone came out of it feeling comfortable (not a small task). I could keep going on forever but the conclusion is the same which is you'd be completely crazy not to have her as both your photographer and your new best friend.

Choosing Dani to be our photographer was maybe the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. She was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire process and so fun to work with. I didn’t realize how much time you spend with your photographer during the wedding day, and I’m so glad that we had Dani. She not only captured beautiful images and got them to us promptly she went above and beyond to keep up laughing, help out during times of high stress, and kept everything moving. OHMYGOSH HIRE DANI! Wow I don't know where to start... Dani is the most amazing human ever and so talented. We just received our wedding photos back (in less than a month!) and we are in awe. They are so beautifully edited and she captured some of the most stunning moments. She is so, so experienced, which is exactly what you need in a photographer. She moves things along so quickly because she knows what she's doing and what shots she needs, there's no standing around waiting for pictures, wondering who's up next. Most importantly, she is absolutely hilarious and will keep you laughing all day long. There is not a single picture where our smiles look fake or bored or over it. My husband and I loved spending time with her, which made pictures SO fun. She does a really great job of getting so many different backgrounds, settings, poses, etc., which is exactly what I wanted because I need options! She's just the absolute best, worth every single penny. Going to sound so incredibly cheesy but I genuinely think of her as more of a friend now than just a photographer. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

Dani was our dream wedding photographer before we even booked her. When we found out she had our date available, Jason and I were over the moon! (We were already in that part of the solar system with our disgustingly gross mushy love, so it was nice to stay stellar). So many people look at the pictures, but not the PERSON, when booking. I assure you, the pictures Dani delivered were WAY above our highest expectations. (Tear-jerking, grin-inspiring, laugh-inducing, day-reliving, perfection over here). But you should book her because she is the PERSON you will want by your side for this one-time-only day, (Plus, you know, your fiancé, he/she is pretty important, too...). Dani is fun-loving, professional, and kind. You will want this in moment like: A. When your pregnant bridesmaid whips out a big-ol Chipotle burrito from her purse and Dani is not only there to capture it, but also to rib her the entire day about it, causing genuine smiles in your bridal party pictures. B. When NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE GROOMSMEN PARTY knows how to put on their boutonnieres, that were lost and found again exactly 5 minutes before the ceremony, and Dani leaps into action like a flower-pinning ninja, just in time to save the day and snap some much-needed shots. C. When time is short, and you wanted certain pics. (Yes, it all flies by just as fast as everyone says it will). Dani is the one to jump in and get those precious pictures, PLUS do the "cat-herding" that is required to make it happen, all with a smile and a laugh. Dani makes jokes while she is making magic. She truly is the fun photographer. Spend your special day with some one who is not only a pretty famous/#bigdeal/totally talented/ local legend in the wedding industry, but who is also a genuinely great human. Dani is absolutely the best. She is fun, brilliant, and I cannot imagine anyone else capturing our day. She navigated everyone's personalities flawlessly (we had a few), while making everything so fun. The photos are all so great I haven't been able to make an album yet because I cannot pick my favorites. Dani will bring out the best in everyone, which absolutely shows in the photos. She managed to capture perfect posed pictures, and also so many amazing candid moments. The color and texture of her work is what drew me to her photography initially. Our venue had a lot of natural textural elements, which she incorporated flawlessly into every single photo. She is worth every penny!!

Dani Leigh is elegant and seamless. Her demeanor and her talent is THE BEST. She floated into the bridal suite, fit right in as though a part of the family or a long time friend. Dani's beautiful photos speak for themselves (love the classic, timeless look and she's so good at candid shots too) but what makes her your best wedding choice is her personality! Your photographer is with you all day and I'm so glad we went with Dani. She was early, hilarious, and basically a second wedding coordinator. The groomsmen raved about her second shooter as well. Couldn’t have had a better photographer. Dani did an engagement session as well as our wedding day and all of her work is spectacular! My wife and I were thrilled to find a photographer who so effortlessly made us feel at home behind her camera. SIMPLY AMAZING. Dani was very professional but fun and relaxing. She made everyone laugh and was always right there when I turned around ready to snap the moment. She went hunting for the best light, the prettiest flowers, and the best shot. I was very touched with the Polaroid sneak peaks at the end of the night with a hand written note. I plan on using her for all my photography needs in the future, if she's not to booked up first!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Dani from the very start. She was able to schedule our engagement session into a previously planned trip to Boston, where we live. She immediately put us at ease and made the process so fun. Not only is she a hoot to work with, but her products speak for themselves. She is a very talented photographer with a ton of experience. She was very familiar with our wedding venue in Maryland and was able to find the best places on the property to take photos. She held us to our very tight timeline and kept us laughing and relaxed during what could've been a very stressful day. She also gave us a great DJ recommendation! Our wedding party and guests still rave about her. Cannot say enough great things about Dani!

Dani is the girl that you feel like you've been friends with for your entire life, even though you just met at a bar yesterday. Which is really where our story begins... So, this couple walks into a bar and falls totally in love... but guess what it's not with each other it's with their PHOTOGRAPHER! It's true folks, Dani and I fell into total friendship at a bar, and no it wasn't just because the beer was great...I have been racking my brain trying to think of the perfect words to describe Dani. Truly, it is hard for me to put into words the amount of love and respect I have for Dani, not only as a photographer, but as a person. She describes herself as the "Fun Photographer," which could not be truer but honestly folks she's way more than that. She's unbelievably talented, trustworthy, kind, real, honest, and let's face it she is downright hysterical. When Dani walked up into my bridal suite, I nearly burned my hair off because I jumped out of the styling chair to hug her. My hairstylist looked at us a few minutes later and said, so you guys have been friends for a long time? Dani and I just laughed and said nope we hung out one time at a bar...a year ago. I really can't make this stuff up people. The day was so unbelievably amazing, my "Best. Day. Ever!" I know I owe so much of that to Dani. For keeping me laughing, calm, and even getting me to chill out once I hit that Hangry Bride time of the day. Yes, my adorably cute pregnant photographer helped ME chill out when I got hangry. I'm telling you guys, Dani is the real MVP. The day turned into night, and it was time for us to head out into married bliss. But wait who comes running up to us with a gift? DANI... yes people, Dani comes up and gives us the sweetest card with the best surprise ever hidden inside. I mean at that point I just wanted to do my grand exit with Dani on my arm instead of Chad. I honestly do not have any words to describe how jaw dropping-ly perfect our wedding photos are. I wish I could share them with the entire world. It took me a solid three hours to get through them because I had to stop and stare at every single one. I felt like I was transported right back into the day. Every amazing happy emotion of the day, I can feel it when I look at these pictures. You know that feeling when you're so happy, you feel like your heart is literally smiling? That's the kind of joy these pictures bring to us. They are simply perfect. Simply perfect. That's it. That is how to describe Dani. She is simply perfect. Working with Dani was so much more than hiring a photographer to take our wedding photos, it was the experience every bride dreams of. An experience that developed a beautiful friendship. We’ve been absolutely blessed to have Dani take our photos over the years. She is very professional when it comes to the businessy stuff, but when you’re out with her getting your photos taken, you’re just having a laugh and totally relaxed. She is incredibly talented and gets very creative when it comes to choosing how to take a shot. I am always very pleased with the photos she sends us. I cannot recommend her enough, she will help you create lasting memories of your special day that you will be proud to show all of your family and friends.

Though I'm not one to usually leave negative reviews, my experience with Dani was stressful and though it might have been a one-off incident, I wanted to share so other brides would be aware. I found Dani online, saw great reviews and liked her photography. After speaking with her on the phone and doing some research, we decided to pick her as our wedding photographer. We had a verbal agreement and were excited to move forward. However, when she sent her contract we didn't feel comfortable with some of the language so asked her politely on the phone if we could adjust the language. She was very nice and understanding and said it would not be a problem an we could work it out. She emailed me after the call and updated version. But when I responded, I never heard back from her again. I tried emailing, calling, and texting but she never acknowledged any of my messages. This was stressful because at the time I wasn't sure if she was being unresponsive or if she didn't want to work with us anymore. Since we had already committed to her, I felt as though I had to wait it out to see if she would respond before looking for another photographer. I waited a few weeks, trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, and then decided I should start looking for other photographers. By that time, my second and third options were already booked on our wedding date. It would have been totally fine if she didn't want to work with us, or didn't feel comfortable with our edits to the contract, but it was very unprofessional how she just ignored all of our messages instead of being mature, upfront and communicating that we weren't a good fit and I should move on to find another photographer, since it is such a time sensitive task in the wedding planning process. It seems like others have had good experiences, so my case may be strange, but I found her to be unprofessional and am actually glad that she flaked out on me early in the process and not a few weeks before our actual wedding day.

Seriously- Dani is amazing! She not only takes amazing photos, but makes the whole thing SO much fun! We literally could not stop smiling and laughing the entire time. Dani did our engagement and wedding photos and we still have yet to be able to pick favorites because we love ALL of them so much!

5 starts doesn’t do her justice! Choosing Dani Leigh was one of the best wedding decisions we made. She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. We couldn’t have imagined a better wedding photographer - she far surpassed our expectations. She is incredibly talented, professional, caring, funny, and a pure joy to have around on your wedding day. She made us, our families and our bridal party feel comfortable and this is reflected in our wedding pictures. We have received so many compliments on our pictures and how beautifully she captured each and every moment. The pictures are classic, timeless, and natural – everything we wanted! Dani captured all the must-have shots, but also all of the candid moments too. We loved all of our wedding pictures and haven’t stopped looking at them since we got them a few weeks ago. Dani is phenomenal and incredibly talented! I can’t recommend her enough and hope to use her again for any exciting life moments!

Dani Leigh is The Quintessence. Humor, organization, precision, drive, communication, love for her job, a caring disposition... did I mention Humor. She embodies the idea that she described to us upon our first interview.( And we interviewed several) Her job is to keep everyone happy and joyful throughout the wedding and to capture the beautiful natural moments that result from this. She interacted with our entire wedding party. She was in sync with the DJ. She was on the same page as the officiant and coordinator. Her incredible organization put us completely at ease and kept the mood playful and stress free. If the wedding coordinator is the maître d', then Dani Leigh is your sommelier. She provides the perfect pairing of structure and comfort to ensure that every unforgettable moment of your wedding is captured forever. You want to talk about artistic talent and creativity... just go look at gallery on her website. The talent speaks for itself. She oozes artistry. But as extraordinary as her gift is, this is the least of her skills. There are plenty of talented people with cameras out there. Dani Leigh has "pretty pictures" for breakfast. If you want to work with someone that will keep you happy, and comfortable? A caring and thoughtful professional photographer who will get to know you, your family and friends? Book her. We couldn't have been happier with our choice for our special occasion.

I wish I could give her 10 stars! One of the best pieces of advice I got from friends/family regarding the vendors I hire for the wedding was to make sure I hire a high quality photographer and DJ. Dani was the best photographer I could ask for. First of all, she is very friendly and easy to talk to. She shows up with a smile and engages everyone involved. The package she gave us included engagement photos, and she didn't even hesitate when we asked if she was willing to go on a hike in a park to take those photos. And what beautiful photos she took. As soon as we saw our engagement photos, we knew we were in good hands. She drove a few hours to capture our wedding. She showed up on time (early) and brought an awesome assistant who was also friendly and easy to work with. They created such an amazing set of photos that left us speechless. She went above and beyond, worked non-stop, and created a work of art that we will cherish for the rest our lives. I recommend her to anyone and everyone, she will capture your special moments and create an amazing work of art.

I first fell in love with Dani Leigh through a photo. It was from our friend Lauren & Eric's wedding -- they had a horrible snow storm that almost cancelled the event, but Dani captured this stunning photo of the two of them out in the show together. It was incredible. And we didn't even meet Dani then. Fast forward 6 months later, we finally met in person -- and it was NO question that we would have Dani for our own wedding! She made us laugh from day one - and we had a BALL even just doing our engagement photoshoot. She has had me floored with great service from the very beginning. When we finished our engagement photoshoot (on a Sunday) she said she would have the photos to us in about 2 weeks - which I thought was great. The next day we had a sneak peek photo on FB, then a blog post on Tuesday, and by Wednesday that same week we had the ENTIRE photoshoot spread! it was sooo exciting! Fast forward to our actual wedding day, I gave Dani our itinerary, and she was still there 30 minutes early, totally her style :D Dani is not the kind of person you need to "give directions" or list of photos that you need and want --- she just knows, and gets them all. I knew I'm a big stictler for pictures of details - so that morning I "gave her all my stuff" and she created amazing photos of all our fun little details. Not only that, Dani handled all of our day's moving pieces with grace, laughs, and lots of smile. Her 3 person team was sooo flexible and accommodating with our large party. And when it started to THUNDERFLOOD -- she didn't flinch one bit. In fact, she still begged us to run across our venue's property to take more photos under a beautiful shelter. Dani and her team are completely amazing and more than flexible -- none of us expected the terrible storm that we did, and I honestly thought we would not get enough photos since we were late to our church ceremony. But she still had us crying when we received our photos 3 weeks later. Thank you Dani!!!!

Dani is an amazing photographer and is a natural people person. She pays attention to small details that make your pictures stand out. We were so comfortable working with her during our engagement session and wedding day. She touched base with us along the year and made it easy to schedule everything with her flexibility. On the day of the wedding she gave great direction to our wedding party and made the pictures go smoothly. Her finished product is a masterpiece. We love Dani and all of our photos!!!!

When looking for a photographer, my fiancé (now hubby!) and I were looking for someone who would make us feel comfortable for our engagement shoot and wedding day. Upon walking into Dani's studio, we knew we were hooked. Our initial meeting felt more like catching up with a friend and we spent most of the time laughing :) Dani's level of talent, creativity and professionalism (mixed with a ton of good humor) was the perfect recipe for an amazing engagement shoot, planning process and wedding day. We could not have been happier with our choice in photographer! Our wedding day was busy as usual (especially with a bridal party of 26!) but Dani and her second shooter made the day flow with ease. Dani kept us all organized and on schedule throughout the day while still making it fun and relaxed. She handled the 28 of us like no ones business! We were beyond in love with our photos and the level of creativity behind each one. Dani does not shoot "typical" wedding shots, there is definitely an artistry to what she sees behind her lens.
