Chef Daniel Lyons made the food experience of our special day an example for all weddings to come. The man is gracious, kind, incredibly patient, diligent and a wonderful conversationalist on top of all that. I could say a lot more here, but it really was a joy to work with Chef Daniel. As a professional caterer he was remarkably insightful. There were several key details we would have missed that proved to be critical. It is these fine details that made the food experience of our wedding top notch. Another point that needs to be emphasized here is that working Chef Daniel is not like working with your typical wedding caterer. Chef Daniel makes the experience very personal and he really caters to you. Those of us who have had to arrange for catering know that you can go to almost any caterer, pick out your mains and your sides and expect them to show up roughly close to what you experienced at your taste test. You just turn your head away from it along with all the other things that didn't quote go to plan and just try to enjoy your special day. That's not the case here. What we experienced in our little taste testing event was exactly what our guests enjoyed at our wedding. Aside from all of the other attractions we provided at our reception, the food was really the centerpiece. We thought to ourselves, "No way he's going to be able to replicate this delicious salad exactly as shown here". It was the same salad served over two hundred times to our guests. You will almost never attend a wedding where all of the people in attendance say that your food was exceptional. That is exactly what Chef Daniel provided for us. Of all the feedback we received, people said consistently that the food was exceptionally delicious. Here's the proverbial proof in the pudding for you. There were zero left overs after a vast majority of people went back for seconds, thirds and even fourths ! Where else does that happen? I cannot emphasize enough how exceptionally good the food tasted. I really just wish we made it more of a point to enjoy it in the moment. I can still remember the taste of the tri-tip and as I write this, my mouth waters. I should also point out that under Chef Daniel's guidance, our role in the process was very simple. He would arrange the tasting experience and we would make our selections. From there, he took the job and ran with it. Everything from working out details of food layout at the reception, working with the venue on his requirements, coordinating with support staff as well as his own staff. He also created our wedding cake for us. As a travel blogger, I have had a lot of lemon cake and Chef Daniel's lemon cake is bar none at the top of my list. I could go on here, but for the sake of brevity I'll leave it at this. I stand by Chef Daniel and his work. His decades of experience stand on their own. Hire him for your event. You will thank yourself later.

If you are thinking about hiring Daniel for your wedding, don't hesitate!! He is extremely professional, reliable, punctual, and his food is delicous! He came to our home and cooked a meal for us and a few friends to sample before we even hired him, and we didn't pay for it which is unheard of. He was excellent at follow-up, arrived on time on wedding day with a top-notch team, and didn't leave until our venue kitchen was spotless. Not to mention he provided linens, china, flatware and crystal all included in his per person rate. We had 170pp and there was so much food and all so beautifully displayed. He just wants to make his clients happy, and he did! Thank you Daniel!!

Daniel was super nice and was quick to communicate. We felt very taken care as we had a destination wedding and he was able to work with us around this difficulty. The food was great and came out warm and on time. His prices are great too for the area. Thanks for making our destination wedding a success.

Where do I begin... Chef Daniel really did listen to our vision and likes and dislikes and created a masterpiece for our wedding day. Daniel was always available for any questions that we had. Daniel set up food and cake tastings for us and allowed a few family members to partake in the tastings as well. Daniel and his staff are so professional and so down to earth from start to finish. Daniel and his Staff paid great attention to detail, and everything was perfectly setup for our special day. My husband and I were married at Casa De Lago on July 18th, 2021 and I must say my husband and I were well taken care of. Chef Daniel took the time to help us prepare for our day; and let me tell you the food prepared was exquisite. I have never had wedding food so delicious and juicy. The London Broil with red wine & mushroom sauce, chicken breast in tarragon cream sauce, the garlic mashed potatoes, the spinach salad, and yellow & green zucchini all to die for. Our Cake (half chocolate truffle other half yellow cake with fresh strawberries/whipped cream) I think with every bite I tasted a bit of heaven. We had a wonderful time and so did our guests. I also would just like to say Thank you once again Daniel and crew you guys are simply the best! I will continue to refer my family, friends, and co-workers to you. Everyone is still calling us asking us where we found such a great team to put together our vision for our perfect day. I tell them that you Daniel and your team are diamonds amongst a bunch of rubble because nothing and no one comes close and will ever come close to you!!! Cheers to you Daniel!!!
