We initially picked Dan for our wedding photography because we loved his candid photo styles - but after our first meeting we knew he would be a great fit. He made us feel so comfortable right away and made sure that he understood what was important to us, who we wanted to make sure we had photos with etc. We had a super fun engagement session wandering around Central Park. Day of the wedding he and his second photographer Lauren, were both very supportive and full of positive energy. Even when I was nervous about going into Rittenhouse Square FULL of people to do our first look, I knew I could trust Dan and everything would be okay. The preview photos we got are INCREDIBLE and we can’t wait to see the rest.

Dan was a delight to work with over the 2+ years it took for us to get married. Photography was important, what was even more important was a vendor who could work with us 1,700 miles away and in a different time zone. We were getting married in Philly where we met, not where we currently lived. What set Dan apart from the start was his effort to get to know both of us. Moving beyond a phone call with one of us, he requested a video call with both of us to talk more about not just what we wanted in a vendor but our history and relationship together. Upon making the decision to move our wedding due to the pandemic, Dan was one of the vendors we scheduled around. For the next 18 months, we kept in touch with Dan either through video calls or in-person when we were able to make trips back to Philly. Each interaction with Dan was filled with joy as we got closer to the day, he was just as excited for our wedding as we were. There was no hint that our wedding would be treated like any other day in his book, it was special to him because it was special for us. The day of the wedding Dan and his second photographer, Lauren, were a bundle of energy ready to take on the day and whatever came our way. They were patient with us as we provided everything we thought they could need, including a document that had the day split into 15 minute increments and who needed to be where when. He was a fantastic collaborator, working with our stationer, Knapp Design Co., on flat lays and detail shots. As much energy as Dan has, he was a calming presence amidst the chaos that ensues around the day and is not afraid to coach the bride or groom to relax and be present. Our guests loved interacting with him and he’s not kidding when he says he wants to blend in, by the end of the night he became part of our family, which is evident in the pictures and the stories told after the event. Our photographs were delivered within the timeframe he set and allowed us to relive the day. Over 2+ years of planning we were asked ‘Are you going to get a videographer?’ and always felt that if we hired the right photographer, we wouldn’t need a videographer. That ended up being so so true in the end. Dan captured the energy, emotion, and excitement of the day, there was no need for a videographer, Dan captured everything we were looking for.

From the moment my husband and I met Dan in late spring 2019 it was apparent he was a rarity to find in the industry. Given how intimate the wedding day is our main hope in hiring a wedding photographer was to work with someone that made us feel authentically seen. We heard so many stories from friends who felt awkward being posed in unnatural ways while taking their photographs, so hoped to find someone who understood how to capture our love in ways that reflected our energy. Dan exceeded this expectation. Dan is remarkably attuned to others which enables him to effortlessly create an environment within which we felt comfortable being ourselves. He brought a beautiful mixture of levity, spontaneity, and structure to our photography sessions, which allowed him to authentically capture all sides of our dynamic. A large part of Dan’s magic is that he truly cares about the nuances of who his clients are as humans, and how that is channeled into their relationship. Dan spent hours getting to know us both individually and as a couple. He also spent time understanding our relationships to our friends and family. Working with him ultimately felt like hanging out with a close friend, which allowed us to feel natural and at ease. During our work with him he provided supportive direction to staging our photographs, but also worked off what came naturally to us. He encouraged us to be our authentic selves and was totally on board when that led us to spontaneously jump into the Love Park fountain ;) He laughed with us as we stood soaking wet. We had so much FUN working with him. Another aspect to Dan’s talent is that, while you think you are just taking a “normal” photograph, his mind is working its magic. Dan captured regular moments in incredibly unique ways. When we got our photos back, we were amazed by the ways he used natural elements in our environment such as lighting, puddles on the sidewalk, and angles to create beautifully artistic photos. The fact that he does this in ways that feel so effortless in the moment is such a testament to his talent. Dan’s expertise surpasses photography, he truly understands the nuances of the wedding process. He was pivotal in helping us to create our wedding timeline and provided us with keen guidance on how to best coordinate our wedding details with our other venders. Given how overwhelming making decisions throughout the wedding process can be, we were so grateful to have him as a resource-- he truly is the full package and more! Lastly, I want to highlight is how genuine and caring Dan is. Given that we were a COVID wedding couple, we had the privilege of working with Dan for over two years. When we met Dan, he told us he was with us on our wedding journey every step of the way. While he certainly didn’t realize that would involve a pandemic, I can confidently say that he stood true to his promise. Throughout the pandemic he checked in on us “just because.” He made us feel deeply supported throughout the challenges inherent not only in being a COVID wedding couple, but throughout the pandemic at large. Aside from choosing to marry each other, Dan was the absolute best decision we made in the wedding process. I cannot reiterate how remarkable of a person Dan is. I am so grateful that people like him exist in this world. We are so grateful to have found him and can say with the upmost confidence that you can’t go wrong with choosing him for your special day!

STOP LOOKING FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS. Seriously, stop. You have found the person you want to photograph your wedding. My husband Andrew and I choose Dan as our photographer back in 2019, and since then it has been quite the journey. Unfortunately, because of covid we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times. In such an uncertain confusing time Dan was nothing but understanding and incredibly flexible. Andrew and I decided to have a small ceremony in our back yard on our original date with family. When calling Dan to deliver the sad news and tell him of the downsized ceremony without skipping a beat Dan said “great, what time I’ll be there.” We were never excepting to have him come, it truthfully didn’t even cross our minds to ask, but he was there. Then came to all the rescheduling and rescheduling and rescheduling. Each new date Dan was incredibly accommodating and worked with us to make things work. When we met Dan he told us he wasn’t just there for the wedding but the journey and was he right. We finally got to have our day on September 25,2021. When I tell you that this man is more then just a photographer I am not kidding. I wasn’t shocked at all when one of my bridesmaids came to let me Dan was steaming my dress for photos. Dan’s personality is infectious and that comes across in the photos he was hyping us up all day! I should also mention this mans timing and ability to stick to a schedule is mind blowing. With a few hiccups with transportation our schedule was a little off and Dan some how got every single shot we wanted that day and got us to cocktail hour right on time. All while staying calm never alerting andrew or I how tight we actually were on time. The rest of the night this man some how managed to catch loose babies running through the dance floor bust the occasional move and even lay down a few bars. My wedding day was the best day of my life thus far, and Dan was a very large part of it . Besides being an amazing photographer he’s just an all around great human. He is very clearly someone who has such passion for what he does. I am so overwhelming happy we choose Dan way back in 2019. We will have photos for a lifetime as well as gained a pretty awesome guy as a friend. If you are reading this review because you are on the fence, seriously stop looking you want Dan there on your big day I promise you.

Booking Dan Moyer for our wedding was the best decision we made, besides getting married to each other. From the moment we met Dan he became an instant friend and got to know us and what was very important to us. Through all the months of planning, especially during the pandemic, Dan gave us honest, no BS answers and advice on what would work best for us. We knew we didn’t have to worry with Dan’s guidance. On the actual wedding day, he was like an old friend coming to celebrate with us. We were very relaxed for all the pictures we planned to take. And finally seeing the finished product, we are completely blown away! He managed to capture everything we wanted and give us lasting memories that we didn’t think possible. When planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted an incredible wedding photographer who could capture the most intimate, amazing moments of our lives through our eyes. After talking with Dan, there was no doubt that he was the guy for us. When first talking to him, he got down to the really gritty details of what makes us as a couple and who made us the people we are today together by asking targeted questions to evoke those emotions and get an overall picture of our relationship and our families. This is what makes Dan truly unique from other photographers, and what makes Dan the amazing photographer and person he is. He truly cares about you as a couple, and capturing your moments together and with those family members who also mean the most to you. Dan took the time to get to know us by going to dinner with us, and it felt like catching up with an old friend. He is honestly one of the most genuine, fun, and kind people we've ever met. We also got to hangout with him more at our Forever Session, which is about you as a couple instead of an engagement session. I loved this because Dan didn't focus on the materialistic aspect of engagements (i.e. the ring), and instead focused on what really matters - you as a couple and the relationship you've built. Dan captured this perfectly while also making it so much fun and giving us the freedom to wander around and find unplanned opportunities for photos. We currently have 3 photos of Dan's from our Forever Session hanging in our apartment because they are that good! The quality of the canvases and photos that he orders are also out of this world and the best quality I have ever seen. During these uncertain times of a pandemic, it is also important to recognize businesses who have the utmost values at their core, and Dan is one of those people. He truly cares about you, and doesn't view you as a customer, but rather a friend. Our wedding went from being 250 people to an intimate 10 person ceremony, and the whole time Dan told us he was along for the ride with whatever we decided. He came to our intimate ceremony and went above and beyond as a photographer by helping us arrange the set up, find great photo opportunities, take photos where everyone felt comfortable regarding social distancing, worked behind the camera to make our 1 yr old niece laugh for pictures, and even helped me take out and put in my veil (which was complicated, but Dan knew exactly what to do!). Dan's work is brilliant and his personality is contagious. My mother-in-law even said she wants to use Dan for everything from now on. Since our wedding drastically changed, Dan worked with us. We wanted him to keep the money we originally paid for our wedding because we adore him and his work so much, and we wanted to support him whatever way we could. He is working with us to allow us to use the remaining credit we have towards future photos/albums, family portraits, etc. He has been the most supportive, flexible, and honest vendor during a time of uncertainty. We are so thankful for his truly amazing work, and the kindness and respect that he treated us with. He went above and beyond to make sure that both parties in the contract were happy, which sadly, is a rare thing for businesses during this time. If you are looking for an incredible photographer and someone who truly cares about you, look no further! Thank you Dan for making these difficult times a little easier and for going above and beyond to make our day exceptional!

Dan and his partner Lauren were THE BEST! Everyone at our wedding loved them-and kept asking if they were our friends because they fit in that well! They made our day so special and we would hire them a million more times! We also used Dan’s photo booth and would highly recommend-we and our guests loved it! Dan went above and beyond for us and we’re so lucky he was a part of our wedding day. We ended up adding his partner Lauren a few weeks before our wedding and it was the best choice we could have made-totally worth it! We could not have imagined our day without either of them.

Where do I even begin raving about Dan?! I found Dan when one of his photos was tagged on my venue's Instagram page. The lighting was so perfect even though the photo was in black and white. I emailed him that instant and even though he was on his family vacation, he got back to me right away. Dan takes so much care and time with his clients to get to know them, individually and as a couple, to be able to capture how they feel about one another. After my first phone call with Dan, I knew he would have to be our photographer! Not only are his photos stunning, but he (as my husband and I always say) truly loves love! And his art of capturing those little moments that you want to remember forever is above even the highest standards. Working with Dan throughout our engagement (our Forever Session photos are beyond gorgeous - magazine worthy!) never ceased to disappoint when it came to response time, quality or affordability! If I could be Dan's marketing manager, I would, because I 1000000% believe in his work and his genuineness for love, photography and his clients! Dan was not only our photographer, but he helped us organize our day and acted as a true friend to us throughout the process. We spoke with Dan on several occasions leading up to our wedding, as well as meeting to do our engagement photos. On our big day, it was great to have someone we knew by our side. Multiple guests commented that Dan seemed like he was truly excited for us and had a great energy throughout the whole day. Dan had us create lists of photos that were important to us, which helped structure our time taking pictures. He was respectful of our wishes to enjoy the cocktail party and reception - we were able to get all the photos we wanted on time. Last, but not least, our photos were absolutely beautiful and captured every moment of our day perfectly. I would recommend Dan to all of our friends & family! You won't regret hiring him!

Talk to Danny Moyer for 5 minutes and you’ll be convinced he is the perfect person to photograph your wedding. When we got in touch with him, it was immediately obvious that he was as excited as we were, and that he knows exactly what he’s doing. Danny has photographed weddings in German castles and National Parks - he’s even shot a wedding in a hurricane! - and no matter how many questions we asked him (and there were hundreds) there wasn’t a single thing he didn’t have some insight about. Leading up to the wedding Danny took the time to really get to know us and talk about what we wanted. By the wedding day, we were not only friends, but Danny felt like part of our family, and we were able to just hang out and enjoy the pictures. I can honestly say we enjoyed our wedding day so much more because Danny helped us live in the moment and be ourselves. He always has the big picture in mind, but combines that with a journalistic attention to detail. On top of that, he radiates genuine enthusiasm, joy, and professionalism. My (now) husband was in a wedding where Dan was the photographer, so as soon as we got engaged, he told me that we had to get Dan for our wedding, too. He told me that Dan was fun to work with and put everyone at ease, and that was coming from someone who was just in the wedding party, not even the bride or groom (although the bride and groom also raved about Dan). My husband and I are both shy in front of the camera, so we knew that we needed someone who could put us at ease, and that is exactly what Dan was able to do. He captures so many true, pure emotions because you are able to relax and have fun around him. This sentiment was repeated by so many people in our wedding party too, as they all raved about Dan after our wedding. He is someone who you instantly feel like is your friend because he puts the time in up front to get to know you as a couple, and he ends up really becoming a friend. I remember seeing him, at my own wedding, and exclaiming, "There you are!", like I was greeting a friend I hadn't gotten a chance to talk to yet, before remembering that he was our photographer and had literally been there the whole time. This is another exceptional quality about Dan and his work -- you never feel like you need to be posing or be conscious of the camera. He blends into the crowd and chaos of the day so that he is truly able to capture every raw emotion and produce beautiful pictures. Every single picture we got elicited an emotion or memory from our day, and every single picture is stunning. I would go on forever singing Dan's praises, but from a couple whose number one priority for their wedding was to hire a great photographer, we definitely made the right decision and you should, too! The one thing that I knew that I did not need to worry about on our wedding day was how the pictures would turn out, and I was right.

There was never a doubt that we'd choose Dan as our wedding photographer! His energy, kindness, and true attention to all of the details that were important to us were evident from the first moment we started talking to him about our wedding. Every time we met, talked, or emailed him, we grew more excited to see how he'd capture all of the memories of our big day. To say that he delivered in spades would be an understatement! We knew Daniel was the perfect photographer from the beginning. Looking on his website, you'll surely be impressed with his pictures. After we hired him, we became more impressed with more than just his photos. Daniel was extremely helpful during the process and put us at ease. He took on the task of coordinating with the DJ, Videographer, Venue, you name it. Daniel even brought an additional photographer for added pictures. His fun-loving attitude shined throughout the day. Any stressful moments he added levity. Even our guests loved talking to him, and dancing with him. During the serious moments, he's in his place- capturing each moment. During the fun dancing times, he's dancing right next to me, capturing every bad dance move I have. If you are looking for a dependable, fun-loving, spirited, prepared, top-of-the-line equipment, high communication professional photographer, then I highly recommend Daniel Moyer. Dan was hands down the best photographer we could have possibly hired for our wedding! I honestly don't know where to start to properly review Dan. Fair warning that this review may make Dan sound too good to be true, but he really is THAT good. Neither my husband or I like taking photos. I'm not kidding you when I say we had maybe 3 photos together over FIVE years of dating .. none of which we liked. Enter Dan. We took our engagement photos/had our forever session with Dan the day before the wedding (seriously, we dreaded having our photo taken). After chatting and hanging out for awhile, we started taking photos, and it was FUN. Dan immediately made us feel comfortable and played off of our humor to put us at ease. We laughed the entire night with Dan! It's rare for us to quickly click with people and we clicked with Dan right away. Flash forward to the wedding day. Again, Dan was absolutely amazing! He was ready early and stayed late. He was, as usual, a BLAST to hang out with all day (you are with your photographer more than any of your family, friends or future spouse that day so this is IMPORTANT). You know your photographer is an amazing guy when your guests take photos with him for their Instagram with the caption "Best photographer EVER". We've only seen two teaser photos so far, but we LOVE them both. The two people who have never liked a photo together (one of which has extreme self confidence problems) love our photos and are excited to see the others! I honestly think it would be impossible to choose someone better than Dan as our photographer! He clearly loves what he does and is truly AMAZING at what he does (with the camera and just at being an amazing, fun, charismatic, and passionate human being). We're already planning when we will hire him again (aka he is stuck with us for life)! Seriously, go hire Dan! We promise you won't regret it!

WOW! If you are stumbling across Dan Moyer as you are doing your wedding research, let me tell you firsthand you have found a true gem!! We first got to know Dan and his work through friends of ours who had their wedding photographed by him. Aside from their stunning pictures, Dan stood out to us at their wedding because he was doing the "nae nae" like a pro on the dance floor and was having so much fun taking pictures the whole night! Dan is such a people person and will put you at ease from your initial phone call. He was always professional, prompt to reply to any questions, and reassuring during the entire wedding process. When we got our pictures we laughed and cried for hours looking through them all. Our friends and families have told us that these pictures are some of the best wedding photos they have ever seen and truly capture who we are as a couple and the joy of our wedding day! Dan has immortalized the best day of our lives and all the laughter, tears and unexpected moments it provided. He has such a gift as a photographer, capturing so many special moments when we did not even realize he was there. He is simply the best!!

I'm not even quite sure where to begin - but all I can say is that Dan deserves every single word of praise that comes his way. He has such a gift, and was 100% born to be doing this job. I was really anxious about having to select a photographer for our wedding, and all of those feelings went to the wayside after I had one initial phone call with Dan. That's all it took, because Dan took the time to ask so many thoughtful questions and genuinely understand what the important moments were going to be on our wedding day. Anybody could guess what those "important" moments would be (reciting our vows, our first dance, etc.), but Dan took the time to truly know and appreciate the dynamics of our personal relationship, as well as those that we have with our families, and it made for some pictures that captured moments far more important than we could have ever imagined. Dan's photography was by far the best money that we spent on our wedding day - his work is truly invaluable, and I know that we'll cherish his pictures and thoughtfulness for years to come!

I’ll try to keep this from sounding like a love letter, but Dan was absolutely, hands-down our favorite vendor! I’ve never met anyone both so enthusiastic and thoughtful; to have him be part of our wedding day and engagement was truly a treat. From the start, Dan made us feel at ease. Our engagement shoot was unbelievably comfortable, and more like a great date that ended in making a wonderful new friend! Receiving our pictures was even more reassuring. Wedding planning is stressful and you doubt your choices, even (especially?) small ones like table numbers and envelope color. When those stresses inevitably piled up, I would go to our engagement photos to remind myself we had made at least one really great decision; we must be doing something right! That comfort was so valuable to have throughout the craziness of wedding planning. We also got a go-to wedding expert in Dan. He was available to help whenever we needed and gave us his full attention. One time we called to ask a question and he happened to be driving; he literally pulled over so he could review our timeline and work out a solution with us. He treated our problems like they were his problems, and all his suggestions worked out incredibly well. This was just one of many instances where he treated our wedding like a meaningful event he looked forward to, not a transaction. On the wedding day he greeted me with a huge hug and was just as excited about the day as I was! He was both super prepared and able to roll with changes. Looking back we were amazed by the intimate moments he captured since he was never intrusive. Our photos show touching moments (rather than stiff poses), so we and our guests look as comfortable and happy as we were that day. Dan did an excellent job capturing the emotions and relationships that meant so much to us. Weddings have a lot of pretty details, but it’s not pictures of centerpieces or escort cards that you’ll be passing down to your kids and grandkids someday. It’s the pictures of you crying as you say your vows, embracing in your first quiet moments together as husband and wife, and hugging your favorite people that will mean the most. We can’t recommend Dan enough; his work speaks for itself, but he does so much to go above an beyond simply capturing photographs.

I knew that I was going to have the most beautiful wedding photos from Daniel during our initial conversation when Daniel told me that I should research lots of photographers before choosing one for our big day. This was the first genuine conversation I had with a vendor during the wedding planning process. He told me these pictures would always be meaningful to us and wanted us to make sure that his style was exactly what we envisioned for our big day. I took some time and researched other photographers, but came back to Daniel. After we booked him, he took me and my (now) husband out to dinner to talk about our relationship and what we envisioned for our big day. The day before the wedding, Daniel called us and gave us a pep talk and tips on how to savor the fleeting moments of our big day. The morning of our wedding, seeing Daniel was like seeing an old friend- I was at ease with him around and that made him capturing the genuine intimate moments of our day so natural. We had so much fun shooting our photos- he and lauren kept us laughing and focused on what mattered throughout the day. Our friends and family kept asking if our photographer was a long time friend because he was out on the dance floor twirling and shooting some of the most genuine moments with our guest from our wedding reception. The whole experience was extremely personal and I am forever grateful that we chose Daniel to shoot our big day. And the pictures speak for themselves. We could not have imagined having another photographer on our wedding day. I had the pleasure of getting to know Dan when I was a bridesmaid in both my sister and cousins weddings which he was the photographer. When Sean and I became engaged, we picked a date and reached out to Dan. If he had not been available, we would have changed our date; that is how much we could not imagine our day without him! Dan is an absolutely amazing photographer. He has a very calming and warm personality. On the morning of our wedding, my nerves were unsettled and he had this incredible ability to calm me with his presence and kind words. Sean and I had so much fun taking pictures with Dan and our bridal party absolutely LOVED him and our second photographer, Lauren Lenko. They were an amazing team and we had a blast! Dan's work is stunning and you will not be disappointed!!

The thing that really separates Dan Moyer from many other photographers is his personality. He is light-hearted, engaging, and is quick to establish a fun, easy-going rapport. Dan’s high energy and sense of humor are infectious and really helped us, our wedding party, and all our guests feel comfortable in front of a camera. For our engagement session, Dan was able to capture our personalities through candid photos and a lot of creative moments. He brought that same enthusiasm to our wedding, which everybody was quick to catch on. It was such an enjoyable experience working with him and truly one of the highlights of our big day. Dan was just as “in the moment” as we were and we are so grateful to have had him there. We can’t wait to see our wedding photos and relive the day all over again! He even took the time to get to know us outside of the “wedding bubble” over dinner and even coffee a few days before our wedding. I fell in love with Dan's photos even before I was engaged just browsing facebook. So I was so excited when my husband and I were able to book him to photograph our wedding in September 2015. Dan has been a dream to work with. I had met with other photographers, but Dan's awesome personality and professionalism shined through. It was just a fun time at every meeting and I wanted to have that same feeling on my wedding day! Our engagement photo shoot was just a taste of what Dan had in store for our wedding. Having a traditional wedding, Dan had the perfect combination of tradition and creativity to create lasting epic photographs that my husband and I both love! Throughout the process, Dan helped me with creating a list of photos I wanted and a timeline for the big day. His responses were always positive, knowledgeable and reassuring. My bridal party commented how "fun and enjoyable" he was, that they did not feel awkward at all. After the wedding, guests are still telling me how amazing our wedding photos are. All in all, it is safe to say Dan "nailed it".

If you're getting married, hiring Dan Moyer to photograph your wedding is the first and best decision you should make. He was recommended to us by a colleague who couldn't stop raving about how wonderful Dan is and how he basically was the best part of their wedding experience. On that glowing recommendation, we met with Dan and within 5 minutes were completely sold. Despite this, he encouraged us to look around for other photographers to be sure. We were sure so we booked Dan and as I said, it was the best decision we made. Our philosophy was that photographs are one of the few tangible things that you walk away from a wedding with (besides a spouse, of course), so we really wanted to have someone we trusted behind the camera. Not only is Dan incredibly professional and takes gorgeous photos, but he is an all around awesome and fun guy who makes being in front of a camera so much easier. We did an engagement session which really helped us get to know Dan and then he and Russ (who is also amazing!!) photographed our wedding. We also used his photo booth which was a real highlight of the whole wedding day. Beyond that, he also is great at dealing with crazy family members and guests and can even sew buttons onto tuxedos (in the even they pop off 2 minutes before the ceremony). Overall, Dan is absolutely worth the investment and if we had to do the whole process over again, we wouldn't hesitate to work with Dan and would recommend him to anyone who asks.

I knew Dan as a Photography student in college and saw the type of photographer he was then. When I got engaged, I didn't even give any other photographer a look. He has the most amazing ability to capture real moments without staging them or making you pose or hold that position so he can get the shot. He just gets it. I've never met another photographer who was more in-tune and aware of the environment they are in. I've seen other couples spend tons of money on photographers that were absolutely horrible. I've clicked through the proofs and thought "You're actually going to pay for these awful photos?" Dan's work speaks for itself and he pours all of his time and energy into getting the authentic shots throughout your day. He listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure he gave me that. He also had incredible advice to give just in general, as someone who recently got married, for my wedding day - advice that I took that ended up making my wedding day so much better. I knew I wanted his positive energy, silliness there with me on my special day, and I already knew his work was impeccable. HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST.

As much as it pains me to know that so many people will be booking Dan after all of these 5 star reviews, I have to give him another one… and hope that he squeezes me into his busy schedule again in the future! I want to start by saying I now can call Dan a friend of mine (and my husbands). He is an amazing person, incredibly nice and outgoing. He radiates positive energy and is so excited about every aspect of your wedding and time leading up to the big day. I believe I found Dan's page after an incredible amount of research on The Knot and wedding wire. I loved his blog and reviews and immediately called to set up a meeting to see if he lived up to the hype. He was very quick to respond to my request and next thing I knew he was sitting on my family room couch. He was funny, enthusiastic, but also extremely professional. I interviewed 2 other photographers (which I recommend doing) but knew Dan would be the one! From that moment on Dan was awesome. You can text him, call him, email him… he always responds. We did our engagement shoot with Dan as well and it was AMAZING. Check out his blog page and look at Clare & Sean's engagement session… you won't be disappointed. Dan was so creative with his shots but also takes traditional portraits. His photographs made me cry and are hanging around my house. Everyone has complimented on them. On our wedding day, Dan arrived early, and stayed late. He was bursting with energy and our bridal party loved him. I cannot say enough positive things about Dan.. his photographs are just so stunning and beautiful. He is an out of the box thinker, not your typical run of the mill wedding photographer. I was so happy to have him around on our wedding day. I should mention that at the end of the night he was dancing to whip nae nae and it was amazing!!

There are two decisions made I never doubted as a bride to be: 1) saying yes to my groom and 2) saying yes to Dan Moyer. His work as a photographer is amazing, but more importantly he's an amazing person to be around. From our first interaction, his enthusiasm was contagious. He loves what he does and it shows. He went from being a phographer, to planner, to friend. We LOVE Dan! He was there to answer every question, help with organizing our crazy schedules (and family) - but he also allowed us to be ourselves, and captured everything in such a real and organic way. I can't say enough good things about him or his work. Basically, hire him! You'll be so thankful you did!

Dan and his team totally ‘nailed it!’ (a favorite term of his) for our wedding. His enthusiasm and creativity was present from the first meeting, and carried all the way through our long and chilly wedding day. From coming up with new and interesting ideas on the spot, to wrangling our large, loud and loving family/bridal party, Dan was nothing but a pure professional. He loves what he does, and it comes through in all the wedding day interactions as well as in his amazing photos. We have received a few teasers through Instagram, and are eagerly awaiting the rest of the pictures. Truly awesome photographer, and a great guy too.

On a rating scale, 1-5…I would have to give Dan and Lauren a 10! They are both AMAZING! We were referred to Dan from a friend of a friend at my work’s Christmas party. I am SO HAPPY that we booked him. From the moment we met him, my fiancé (now husband) knew immediately he was the photographer to go with. You will not find a more fun, energetic, enthusiastic, or more professional photographer in this industry. Plus, their work is Gorgeous! We had an added bonus with Lauren – she was Dan’s assistant for our big day. Both of them are very genuine and just made everyone feel so comfortable. All the pictures and moments they were able to capture are absolutely stunning! Our guests raved about our photographers and said how they were really able to “capture the true essence” of our wedding.” Our wedding day was perfect…and it was definitely because Dan and Lauren were part of it. Note: He only books a limited # of weddings per a year (so he can be fully attentive to his clients), so make sure you reach out to him ASAP!

I cannot say enough about Dan! My husband and I got married this past May and are so incredibly happy with our decision to hire Daniel Moyer Photography. He consistently went out of his way to accommodate our busy schedules throughout the planning process. It was such a pleasure to work with him– even all of our family and friends loved him and could not stop talking about how impressed they were with our photographer and his team. Choosing Dan to be our photographer for our wedding day was one of the best choices we made. We took a liking to him right away and he was so pleasant to work with throughout time of our wedding planning. All of our friends and family commented on how much they liked our photographer and a bunch of our friends told us that they want him for their upcoming wedding. Where can I even begin?! When we first started our search for wedding photographers, Dan was one of the first people whose work caught our eye. We loved his photo-journalistic style and decided to meet with him. During our initial meeting, we were immediately impressed with his high energy and creative mind. It was evident that everywhere he looks, he sees a photo opportunity! And from the moment we hired him, it was clear that Dan was truly just as excited for our wedding as we were! In the year leading up to our wedding, we were very impressed by his high level of professionalism - he returned every phone call and email promptly and courteously, and was instrumental in planning the timeline for our wedding day. As our wedding got closer, Dan took the time to meet with us at our home and venue to talk about what we were looking for in our pictures, and scout out all possible shooting locations. He was also extremely flexible in the days leading up to the wedding when we learned of the potential impact that Hurricane Irene might (and ultimately did) have on our wedding. Once the big day arrived, Dan was there for every moment - from getting ready at the salon in the morning to our sparkler send-off at the end of the night - he captured every moment and through his pictures, told the story of our wedding day better than we could have ever expected! And Dan will NOT make you wait long for your pictures - we were able to view them the night we got home from our honeymoon! Not only did Dan give us AMAZING pictures, but his positive attitude throughout the day helped to keep our spirits high when we were dealing with some very challenging circumstances! Nothing can prepare you for a hurricane on your wedding day, but Dan never let that stop him. His hard work and determination was one of the biggest reasons our wedding went off without a hitch, even in bad weather, and for the rest of our lives, we will have beautiful pictures to help us tell the story! I would happily recommend Dan to any bride! He is more than just a fabulous photographer, he is also a great person!

Dan is so amazing to work with and his pictures are beautiful! I would pick him again if I needed any photos done. I was so pleased with every picture and he really kept me calm when the time came to crunch time. He was such a joy to work with and had great ideas for pictures!

What can I say....Dan Moyer is amazing! We looked at several different photographers, but when we met with him we just knew that he was perfect for the job! Dan is incredible. He has a passion and excitement for taking pictures that is displayed through his work. Dan is very easy going and makes you feel at ease. Something he said to me during our first meeting that stuck was "You have to like your photographer as a person becuase you will be spending more time with him then your groom".
