Daniel Vaughn is simply the best there is in the area. He designed flowers for my wedding with only a few pictures of designs I liked and the end result BLEW ME AWAY! I told him I liked Fall colors and wanted a rustic theme. He went above and beyond to create bridal party bouquets, center pieces, and archway arrangements. I could not be happier with the results as they were better than the pictures I showed him! Our wedding guests were in awe of how perfect the arrangements were. My husband (who worked on a flower farm for many years and knows his flowers) was even raving about how beautiful the flowers were. Daniel is super friendly and responds quickly to any questions. I can’t recommend him enough for any floral needs. You will not be disappointed!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Daniel Vaughn! We came to him with a budget, some tea cups, and only a general idea of what we thought the florals could be and Dan was able to perfectly articulate our vision. The flowers were the focal point of our decor and created the perfect look and ambiance. They tied together the whole event! The bridal bouquet and wedding party bouquets fit beautifully with the ceremony setting and looked like they perfectly belonged. We brought 100 tea cups to Dan and he filled them with a gorgeous assortment of flowers for our centerpieces that really stole the show! All of the flowers were fresh, fragrent, and in beautiful condition.. Not only was the work with the flowers top notch, Dan was so flexible when we had to move our ceremony inside and never tried to up sell us for the sake of charging us more. This is a business with true integrity and style and I can't recommend them enough.

Working with Daniel was an absolute dream. In our first meeting he made a list of my likes and my dislikes and created a ceremony and reception that was unique to me. When Covid hit and we had to shift our date from May to October, Daniel stuck with us and reinvented what we had already created to adapt to a new venue. No detail was left undone. Every corner of space had a hidden surprise. The linens were perfect. He coordinated boutonieres for my girls to wear on their jean jackets that each matched their unique bouquets. Michael on his team created a beautiful tree draped with origami cranes that was a fan favorite with guests and the outdoor tent dripped with candlelight which made for a beautiful and romantic aesthetic - exactly what I had wanted. Daniel and his team listened to me, and in turn I trusted them to do what they do best. I would recommend Daniel Vaughn Designs to any bride!

Daniel did such a fantastic job creating the perfect bouquets, centerpieces and runners for my husband and I’s wedding! From the moment we sat down to discuss my vision he instantly understood what I wanted. He was very descriptive and helpful every step of the way. I would gladly recommend him to anyone!

I was referred to Daniel by my venue (Omni Bedford Springs) and decided to book him after our first conversation. I am blown away by Daniel’s talent! Truthfully I have never actually met Daniel in person since I live quite far from my venue. He was able to create my vision by sending him inspiration pictures and a few phone conversations. Daniel coordinated with my rental company to include foliage on the lounge areas and even matched the flowers for my cake to the exact picture I sent him. He included foliage everywhere - cocktail tables, cookie tables, lounge area, guestbook table & even the stairwell leading up to our ballroom!! I had to provide basically no direction & somehow he was able to understand exactly what I wanted. I HIGHLY recommend Daniel Vaughn Designs for your wedding!

I am so glad that my now husband and I worked with Daniel Vaughn Designs for our wedding flowers this past September. Daniel Vaughn was our florist for our wedding on October 26, 2019. He did an amazing job!! He worked with us to help us stay within our budget and provided us with beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, a ceremony/reception flower display, and candle centerpieces! Definitely hire him, you won't regret it!

Dan and his team did a spectacular job on the flowers for my daughters recent wedding! Her bouquet was gorgeous, they we re able to incorporate a family heirloom into the design which made it so special! Each centerpiece was exactly how we wanted them, with all the flowers we requested. The bridal table was magnificent, every guest was amazed by it! Dan and his team were professional, on time and always a phone call away! I can not recommend them enough, they brought our vision to life!!

I got married July 27, 2019 in State College and chose Daniel Vaughn Designs as my florist. Dan, his wife Cindy, and his team are seriously the best!!! I had so much fun working with Dan, from the day of the first consultation to the day of the wedding. He is a wonderful person and is truly talented! He knew exactly what I envisioned and my florals were BEAUTIFUL. He exceeded my expectations, which I never doubted he wouldn’t. Daniel and his team created the most amazingly beautiful flowers, center pieces, and decorations for my wedding!! After just one meeting, Daniel was able to get a feel for my vision and my likes and dislikes perfectly. I was worried about how to pull together the whole look, but, even thought I couldn't describe it very well, Daniel was able to pull my dream right out of my head and bring it to life. When I walked into my reception once everything was set, I was truly moved to tears. He was willing to hear about every little detail, plan, or concern I had. Daniel was conscious of budget when I asked him to be, but his services were worth every penny. Absolutely without a doubt the best money I spent on my wedding. Guests were raving and complimenting the flowers and design all night. I cannot say enough good things about Daniel Vaughn Designs! The man is a true artist and I'm so happy I let him work his magic on my wedding!

Daniel and his team were excellent. I met with him one time to describe my vision, and he made it come to life. Actually, he made it even better than what I had envisioned! He was so easy to work with, and I loved that I didn't need to worry about what was happening with the flowers. He was well worth the money!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! Daniel Vaughn was my favorite vendor for our wedding. Not only because he (and his team) is extremely talented and has excellent taste, but also because he just has the best personality and is so nice to work with! He's such a cool guy! Daniel and I spoke over the course of a year + about planning the flowers for my wedding. Within that time, I sent him tons of different images and ideas of florals that I liked. When I walked into my venue on my wedding day and saw his team setting up, I almost cried because they executed my vision so perfectly. I could tell that Daniel really listened to me and methodically decided which florals to bring in and which to leave out. I really needed someone with that skill who was able to tie it together in a cohesive way, while also maintaining the vibe I wanted. I told Daniel after my wedding that I wish my bouquet could stay alive forever because it was just so beautiful. In the future I will need to throw a lavish party as an excuse to have Daniel do more florals!! :)

Daniel was an absolute a pleasure to work with. He made the vision I had in my mind an absolute stunning reality. Coral charm peonies, beautiful centerpieces with floating votives, and so much more! So many people at our wedding came up to my family and I and commented on how beautiful the flowers were. If you are getting married near State College, you cannot go with another florist. Daniel is the absolute best!!!

We had a one-on-one meeting with Daniel prior to the wedding, and he was very respectful of our ideas and offered great ideas of his own. His professionalism and decades of experience shone through his recommendations. He provided an estimate, and we did not get the impression that he was charging too much. He was the first florist we visited, and we later discovered that other florists charged significantly more. He was respectful of our budget and gave us ideas of how we could decorate an arbor ourselves by ordering voile online. He later helped us with the measurements for ordering. When we left the initial meeting, he gave me a long-stemmed rose, which was such a nice gesture. Daniel Vaughn Designs followed through with everything they said they were going to do. The flowers were gorgeous, and we received so many compliments at the wedding. I could not be happier with Daniel Vaugn Designs and recommend them highly! Being able to work with them was a great blessing to us because everything went so smoothly at our wedding.

Dan was so responsive to the our wishes and also offered terrific suggestions resulting in gorgeous bouquets and supplemental flowers. I’m SO glad we chose Daniel Vaughn for our wedding flowers!! When I went in for my initial meeting with him, I left feeling confident that he totally understood my vision and knew that I could relax knowing the flowers would be taken care of! When they were delivered, I was not disappointed! They looked exactly like I’d pictured!! His bouquet design BEAUTIFULLY tied everything together in such an elegant way!! Daniel Vaughn Designs did an amazing job creating the floral arrangements for our wedding. We were not able to meet in person, so Daniel was able to create exactly what we were looking for by a handful of pictures that we sent to him. He was extremely flexible when we added additional arrangements later on, and he also respected the budget we set out. Our reception area was pretty much a blank slate with lots of space to fill, so the task at hand was a difficult one. He turned our vision into a reality! We had a blast planning our big day with Daniel! We used Jack Daniels bottles as our centerpieces and he totally provided the look I was striving for. They were super flexible with meeting, revising the proposal, and fulfilling any special requests we had. All of the flowers were beautiful and complimented the decor and dresses perfectly. You will not find a more creative florist, or a more delightful person to work with than Daniel Vaughn. From the first phone call, Daniel's enthusiasm was front and center, and collaborating with him for my wedding weekend was a major highlight of an otherwise fairly stressful wedding planning process. Daniel was so excited with our space/galaxy theme, and was full of fun, fascinating ideas to help us realize our vision. For both our rehearsal dinner and reception, we had parts of the centerpieces already made or acquired, and Daniel couldn't have been better at bringing all of the elements together into something beautiful, tasteful, and spectacularly different. He also designed an arch for our ceremony that was by far one of the most interesting pieces I'd ever seen. I can't overstate what a great job he and his staff did. Everyone loved the unique look and beauty of his handiwork. If you want a truly one-of-a-kind celebration, Daniel Vaughn is the designer you want. The man is a visionary, a true artist, and it was a joy to work with him.

Our family cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had with Daniel Vaughn Designs!! We would wholeheartedly recommend Dan, Cindy, Mike, April and the rest of the creative staff there for a wedding that is custom designed just the way you want!! The brides family was from an island in the South Pacific and they wanted some of the ambiance to reflect that culture. Daniel accomplished that and more!! He did an amazing job with suggesting certain flowers to showcase the bride's wishes! He used gold washed manzanita branches designed in gold revere bowls with gorgeous orchids suspended from the branches surrounded by white hydrangeas and gold votives on the guest tables at the reception! The brides personal flowers were just perfect....white phalaenopsis orchids for her and her 8 bridesmaids each carried a stunning monochromatic bouquet of one variety of flowers that matched the wedding colors....with the honor attendant having a mixture of all those flowers and the groomsmen had matching boutonnières to each of their respective bridesmaid!!! Such a creative idea that was perfect! Daniel provided many opportunities for our input, suggestions and even revisions! We didn't discuss a budget limit with him (our fault) and when we received his proposal it was higher than we had anticipated.... NO WORRIES.....he did some refiguring and 'voila'....it was just right where we needed it to be....and no less beautiful! We felt Dan understood what we wanted and he achieved that and more just PERFECTLY!!!

Daniel did an amazing job working with me on our budget and short timeline. The flowers were gorgeous and were delivered right to my room right before the wedding in a beautiful arrangement. I had one Bridal bouquet and 3 bridesmaid's bouquets and all of them were cohesive and just what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend!

Daniel saved our special day after our original florist fell through just a month before our wedding! He created absolutely stunning boutiques for my bridesmaids and myself. He was a blast to work with and was able to decipher what I wanted, even when I wasn't certain myself. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

We can not say enough good things about Daniel Vaughn and his staff. He is so easy to work with and he genuinely loves his job. I came to him with so many different and out of the box ideas, and he loved them all. He created a ceremony back drop that I never imagined would actually be possible to have. He went above and beyond the expected. Everything from the ceremony back drop to the center pieces and the details throughout. He was probably the best decision I made for our wedding day. I could not have been any happier with what he did for us.

Daniel was amazing! We had a brief meeting to discuss what kinds of flowers I liked and from there he was able to work his magic. Daniel created a beautiful bridal bouquet, as well as bouquets and boutineers for the wedding party, using pinks, whites, and a hint of silver greenery. He also provided two absolutely stunning flower arrangements to place on the front of our wedding canopy. He knew our venue and decorated the reception with beautiful arrangements of roses and hydrangeas, as well as votive candles. And the pièce de résistance was the cake topper. A few weeks before the wedding I sent Daniel a picture of a cake decorated with fresh flowers. Daniel recreated this for our two-tier wedding cake. It was truly beautiful! I highly recommend Daniel and his floral arrangements; they are works of art.

Daniel Vaughn provided the flowers for our wedding on June 11, 2016. As I was extremely busy with family issues, my wedding planning was put on the back burner. I went to Daniel on a recommendation and couldn't be happier with our wedding flowers. I showed Daniel some pictures of arrangements I liked but quickly learned that my tastes far exceeded my budget! Given all the other issues going on in my life, I left it in his hands to create a design that was within budget, and he didn't disappoint! The flowers were absolutely stunning!! When I saw my bouquet, I was speechless! We also had flowers for our cake, and he worked with our baker (Heather Luse in Center Hall) to create just the right design....the cake looked fabulous. We went to speak with Daniel after the wedding to thank him, and when I told him how gorgeous I thought my bouquet was and that I hadn't expected something quite so spectacular, his reply was that it had to fit the bride. It was a long trailing bouquet to fit my height while incorporating the flowers I liked and our wedding colors. Not only were all the bouquets and arrangements exquisite, but the arrangements lasted for nearly 2 weeks! They were as beautiful, if not more so, than the pictures I had shown Daniel, and they were within budget. You won't be disappointed if you choose Daniel to do your flowers. I will never order flowers for ANY occasion from any other florist!

Daniel Vaughn was the florist at my brother's winter wedding a few years ago. While I was planning my own wedding for summer 2016 I knew he would be our florist, we did not even look at any others. Daniel Vaughn is incredibly easy to work with while still being thorough. While sitting down during our planning session he went so far as to pull all of the greenery he typically uses to make sure the stems and vines were the exact shade of green that I was envisioning. His creativity truly shows in all aspects of the flowers from bouquets to cocktail hour to the centerpieces. He considers all of the details you already have planned for your wedding and makes sure the flowers add to the overall look. A quick example of this attention to detail, he provided hand towels with every bridesmaid bouquet so they could dry off their flowers and not get any water on their dresses. He and his wife were truly delightful to work with.

Absolutely gorgeous! Daniel did a wonderful job in providing flowers for our wedding. We went with blushes and white flowers and they were just the right balance and looked amazing. Daniel was great to work with, and has wonderful input due to his extensive experience in the floral industry and with weddings. He provided great input as to what flowers would look great with our vision. We can't thank Daniel enough for his amazing work!

Daniel Vaughn designed the florals and provided the linens for my daughters wedding at the Nittany Lion Inn on May 14,2016. Her dream was to create a romantic, garden atmosphere with understated elegance. Daniel got our vision immediately and had many wonderful and unique ideas for transforming the ballroom into a beautiful, classic space -full of flowers and twinkling with candlelight. The bouquets and personal flowers were perfect as well. The price to be honest was much more than we anticipated but I can truly say that, at least to us, it was worth every penny. I wholeheartedly recommend him and my only advice would be-save yourself some stress and just trust him- he knows what he's doing!

Wedding: August 16, 2015. Daniel and Cindy did an absolutely fabulous job with the flowers for our wedding at Omni Bedford Springs! I always wanted a very elegant, classic, and timeless wedding, and Daniel really brought my vision to life. All of the bouquets, boutonnieres, and cocktail table arrangements were beautiful, and the ceremony arrangements, rose petals for the aisle, and reception arrangements/décor were absolutely spectacular! The outdoor ceremony arrangements were so grande, beautiful, and elegant, and the reception ballroom looked absolutely stunning with all of our arrangements, candles, and linens, etc. Daniel and Cindy did an incredible job, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I was planning a wedding from out-of-state and Daniel worked with me and my crazy work schedule (as my husband and I are business owners), and made my vision come to life. The flowers at our wedding were perfect, and I cannot honestly articulate how amazed/happy I was with all of the flowers for our wedding. Daniel and Cindy helped make my dream wedding become a reality, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. They were very professional on the day of our wedding, easy and fun to work with, and have excellent taste, talent, and artistry. Our guests are still talking about our flowers, months later, and I will never forget how unbelievably stunning they were. Daniel and Cindy exceeded all of my expectations, and truly helped make our wedding the best day of our lives. You will not regret hiring Daniel for your wedding/event - he is a must hire!!

We went to see him with our favors (purple glass lanterns) and our budget, and he came up with an amazingly beautiful design. He works with your budget and really wants to get to know who you are in order to create the wedding of your dreams.

AMAZING! June 27, 2015 wedding-Daniel and his team were great throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day. I had a destination wedding at PSU and we did everything via phone and email. H took my vision and put it into reality-was so more beautiful than I ever imagined! Daniel Vaughn Designs was recommended to us by Bryan Stiffler, the Director of Catering at Omni Bedford Springs as "the" floral design company to use. As always, Bryan hit the target dead center. Daniel is a very good listener and extremely flexible as the plans were coming together. We put him through his paces as the vision was solidified and he happily revised his proposals as things evolved and was always frank about some of our suggestions/ideas. On some matters regarding the size of certain arrangements, where we were conflicted, we asked Daniel's advice and he was spot on with his recommendations. Likewise, we were able to be candid with him and the result was PHENOMENAL!!! Once we were alligned on the vision for the all parts of the day - from bouquets to boutineers to accents at The Wedding Grotto and finally the reception in the Omni's stately Collonade Ballroom - we left it to Daniel and his team. My daughter was married 8/31/14 at the Omni Bedford Springs in Bedford, Pa. Daniel Vaughn was one of the vendors recommended by the Omni. We could not have made a better choice in asking Daniel Vaughn to be our florist. I can not even put into words how beautiful the flowers were. They were absolutely stunning. Just exquisite! Daniel Vaughn was a such pleasure to work with. His warmth and enthusiasm made us feel like we had known him all our lives. He listened to our ideas, looked at bridal fabric swatches, and shared his valuable advice and love of color. The result was sheer perfection. Every step of the way, our experience with Daniel Vaughn Designs was top notch.

Daniel Vaughn made my reception perfect! I met with Daniel one time, we exchanged ideas, and what resulted was incredible... I never had to see example table settings, or floral arrangements before giving Daniel my approval. I trusted him to handle this very important aspect of the wedding, mostly because I was too busy to worry about each and every detail. I made the right decision! I did not have to stress myself with the decisions, and the end result was perfection! The ceremony space and reception hall were glowing from the candlelight & soft romantic flowers. Daniel was so wonderful to work with! He worked within our budget and made sure that we got what we wanted. We met only a few times and we gave him an outline of what we wanted and what feeling we wanted to give off with the arrangements. I really wanted sliced limes in the large center piece vases, and he was happy to put it together. When I walked through the reception area before the ceremony, I was blown away by how perfect everything was! It was better than I ever imagined. Michael was wonderful too. He delivered the bouquets and set up the ceremony area, reception area, cake, bar, grand piano, and cocktail area in a professional and timely manner. I was so very happy that we went with Daniel Vaughn!

Daniel and his team did an incredibly job both at the ceremony and the reception. The aisle runner he did at the wedding was stunning. I was absolutely blown away when I entered the reception the flowers and all the candles used in the room especially the head table was incredible. It was his idea to do an imperial table as the head table with all of the bridal party and their dates at the table and it was perfect. He took my vision of blue and purple flowers and took it even farther then my ideas. He also provided the linens for the event and they really helped lay a backdrop for the flowers. Everything was beautiful!!!

Daniel did an absolutely beautiful job with the flowers for our wedding. Daniel provided the flowers for the wedding party, as well as the decorations for our ceremony and reception. My requests were a bit unusual (I focused much more in greenery and foliage than on flowers), and we also had a less than huge budget. Daniel made it work, an he totally, totally got my vision. He was also completely honest, telling me when we really could not cut the budget further and still achieve the look I wanted. Because I trusted him both as an artist and as a professional, I took his word for it. Daniel also was able to provide last-minute decorations for our ceremony site when we had to move inside due to bad weather. The bridesmaids' foliage bouquets, and the grooms men's boutenieres, were just what I'd pictured. And the decor? Better than I planned. I'd been thinking single blooms on the tables, but Daniel put slightly larger flowers, and greenery, a few on each table. It looked perfect and fit the scale of the space. This was probably the best part of working with Daniel: he absolutely understood what I wanted, and also had perfect judgement about what would look amazing. I could trust him to make it look incredible- and he did. I absolutely loved every detail of my flowers and decor, and my own bouquet was the most beautiful I've ever seen. The flowers stayed fresh and smelled wonderful all through the reception and even into the next day. I'd definitely recommend Daniel to any bride or groom.

I was very pleased with Daniel Vaughn Designs. Dan was a pleasure to work with! He was able to take my ideas and vision for the decor and add his expertise and creativity to make all our flowers beautiful and unique. I was so pleased to walk into our reception and see the overall look of the room. Although he was aware of our floral budget, the proposed plan for the flowers for the event was over $1500 more than what was discussed. I was able to bring this down by $500 by asking him to cut back in several areas. Make sure you are clear about how much you are willing to spend, or your bill might come in higher than expected; however, you will not be disappointed with the quality and beauty of the flowers!! I would use this florist again in a heartbeat!

Dan did some amazing centerpieces and bouquets, but at first he came in WAY over budget. So we had to talk him down and figure out where we could cut to get the price down. All in all we were very happy with the wonderful flowers and remained in budget!

Daniel is the best! We wanted something a little different for our center pieces and he was so kind to sit down with us to work them out. We were also adding things to the order the week before the wedding and he was so graciously accommodating! Daniel is a wonderful man to work with!

After a recent meeting with Daniel, I was extremely excited with his ideas for my wedding and he promised a proposal within two weeks. After almost a month and a half of waiting and not receiving anything, we contacted him regarding the promised proposal. His response was an email notifying that he could not do the wedding. Not only was I extremely disappointed that he was unable to work with us, his lack of professionalism was even more disappointing. We then went on to discover that he had lied about his reasons for not working with us. I do not plan on recommending Daniel Vaughn in the future and know that others feel the same way.

We chose Daniel Vaughn after attending multiple bridal shows in the State College area. Every time we walked by his display, he had exactly the look I wanted. Daniel Vaughn Designs seemed to do more than just centerpieces for our wedding. When we walked into the reception space before our guests arrived, it was breathtaking. Workers at our venue said they had never seen the room look to beautiful. The flowers and candles around the room were absolutely amazing. I did not have an exact vision of what I wanted when I went in and through some pictures and discussions, they created a perfect setup. The team at Daniel Vaughn Designs were always friendly and accommodating and even fit us in for a last minute appointment when my mom came up to visit. I would highly recommend them. The prices were a little higher than we originally planned, but they are willing to work in whatever budget you provide.

i planned my state college wedding from several states away, and was only able to meet dan once in person before our special day. i basically told him what colors i wanted, and sent a picture of a cake with flowers on it for a general idea. wowing my husband and myself is a complete understatement -- he did a phenomenal job, nailing everything perfectly. i can honestly say the flowers were my favorite part of that day. so much, in fact, that i had my bouquet preserved! hes a little pricey, but completely worth every penny!!
