ay you want!! The brides family was from an island in the South Pacific and they wanted some of the ambiance to reflect that culture. Daniel accomplished that and more!! He did an amazing job with suggesting certain flowers to showcase the bride's wishes! He used gold washed manzanita branches designed in gold revere bowls with gorgeous orchids suspended from the branches surrounded by white hydrangeas and gold votives on the guest tables at the reception! The brides personal flowers were just perfect....white phalaenopsis orchids for her and her 8 bridesmaids each carried a stunning monochromatic bouquet of one variety of flowers that matched the wedding colors....with the honor attendant having a mixture of all those flowers and the groomsmen had matching boutonnières to each of their respective bridesmaid!!! Such a creative idea that was perfect! Daniel provided many opportunities for our input, suggestions and even revisions! We didn't discuss a budget limit with him (our fault) and when we received his proposal it was higher than we had anticipated.... NO WORRIES.....he did some refiguring and 'voila'....it was just right where we needed it to be....and no less beautiful! We felt Dan understood what we wanted and he achieved that and more just PERFECTLY!!!

He knew our venue and decorated the reception with beautiful arrangements of roses and hydrangeas, as well as votive candles. And the pièce de résistance was the cake topper. A few weeks before the wedding I sent Daniel a picture of a cake decorated with fresh flowers. Daniel recreated this for our two-tier wedding cake. It was truly beautiful! I highly recommend Daniel and his floral arrangements; they are works of art.

Given all the other issues going on in my life, I left it in his hands to create a design that was within budget, and he didn't disappoint! The flowers were absolutely stunning!! When I saw my bouquet, I was speechless! We also had flowers for our cake, and he worked with our baker (Heather Luse in Center Hall) to create just the right design....the cake looked fabulous. We went to speak with Daniel after the wedding to thank him, and when I told him how gorgeous I thought my bouquet was and that I hadn't expected something quite so spectacular, his reply was that it had to fit the bride. It was a long trailing bouquet to fit my height while incorporating the flowers I liked and our wedding colors. Not only were all the bouquets and arrangements exquisite, but the arrangements lasted for nearly 2 weeks! They were as beautiful, if not more so, than the pictures I had shown Daniel, and they were within budget. You won't be disappointed if you choose Daniel to do your flowers. I will never order flowers for ANY occasion from any other florist!

While sitting down during our planning session he went so far as to pull all of the greenery he typically uses to make sure the stems and vines were the exact shade of green that I was envisioning. His creativity truly shows in all aspects of the flowers from bouquets to cocktail hour to the centerpieces. He considers all of the details you already have planned for your wedding and makes sure the flowers add to the overall look. A quick example of this attention to detail, he provided hand towels with every bridesmaid bouquet so they could dry off their flowers and not get any water on their dresses. He and his wife were truly delightful to work with.

The bouquets and personal flowers were perfect as well. The price to be honest was much more than we anticipated but I can truly say that, at least to us, it was worth every penny. The outdoor ceremony arrangements were so grande, beautiful, and elegant, and the reception ballroom looked absolutely stunning with all of our arrangements, candles, and linens, etc. Daniel and Cindy did an incredible job, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I was planning a wedding from out-of-state and Daniel worked with me and my crazy work schedule (as my husband and I are business owners), and made my vision come to life. The flowers at our wedding were perfect, and I cannot honestly articulate how amazed/happy I was with all of the flowers for our wedding. Daniel and Cindy helped make my dream wedding become a reality, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. They were very professional on the day of our wedding, easy and fun to work with, and have excellent taste, talent, and artistry. Our guests are still talking about our flowers, months later, and I will never forget how unbelievably stunning they were. Daniel Vaughn Designs was recommended to us by Bryan Stiffler, the Director of Catering at Omni Bedford Springs as "the" floral design company to use. As always, Bryan hit the target dead center. Daniel is a very good listener and extremely flexible as the plans were coming together. We put him through his paces as the vision was solidified and he happily revised his proposals as things evolved and was always frank about some of our suggestions/ideas. On some matters regarding the size of certain arrangements, where we were conflicted, we asked Daniel's advice and he was spot on with his recommendations. Likewise, we were able to be candid with him and the result was PHENOMENAL!!! Once we were alligned on the vision for the all parts of the day - from bouquets to boutineers to accents at The Wedding Grotto and finally the reception in the Omni's stately Collonade Ballroom - we left it to Daniel and his team. He took my vision of blue and purple flowers and took it even farther then my ideas. He also provided the linens for the event and they really helped lay a backdrop for the flowers. The bridesmaids' foliage bouquets, and the grooms men's boutenieres, were just what I'd pictured. And the decor? Better than I planned. I'd been thinking single blooms on the tables, but Daniel put slightly larger flowers, and greenery, a few on each table. It looked perfect and fit the scale of the space. This was probably the best part of working with Daniel: he absolutely understood what I wanted, and also had perfect judgement about what would look amazing. I could trust him to make it look incredible- and he did. I absolutely loved every detail of my flowers and decor, and my own bouquet was the most beautiful I've ever seen. The flowers stayed fresh and smelled wonderful all through the reception and even into the next day. I'd definitely recommend Daniel to any bride or groom.

I was able to bring this down by $500 by asking him to cut back in several areas. I would use this florist again in a heartbeat!

When we walked into the reception space before our guests arrived, it was breathtaking. Workers at our venue said they had never seen the room look to beautiful. The flowers and candles around the room were absolutely amazing. I did not have an exact vision of what I wanted when I went in and through some pictures and discussions, they created a perfect setup. The team at Daniel Vaughn Designs were always friendly and accommodating and even fit us in for a last minute appointment when my mom came up to visit. I would highly recommend them. The prices were a little higher than we originally planned, but they are willing to work in whatever budget you provide.

ing my husband and myself is a complete understatement -- he did a phenomenal job, nailing everything perfectly. i can honestly say the flowers were my favorite part of that day. so much, in fact, that i had my bouquet preserved! hes a little pricey, but completely worth every penny!!
