Just wow, completely floored by the quality, professionalism, and experience we had with Daniel!  We had no expectations of what we would be getting as we had never hired a professional photographer before, let alone one for our wedding.     We got married at the courthouse in Manhattan, as we both preferred a straightforward and simple affair.  That said, Daniel was not only early but had scouted out lower Manhattan for the best picture spots and had an itinerary ready to go.  You could tell he knew his stuff, where to go, how to pose, and he was great fun to be around, keeping the mood light and happy, exactly what we wanted.     We took a tour of a few notable buildings, had a great time and an impromptu pizza stop, and ended the day at the seaport for some near the water pics.  The day ended at a nice restaurant with a few family and friends, where we had some cake and ended the evening at the hotel.     Daniel totally impressed us with his ease of communication and promptness too, we got the pictures so quickly and were able to share them with friends and family the next week.  Would definitely recommend his services for any and all future weddings and events, you won't be disappointed!  

Daniel was one of the best wedding decisions I made and if I had to re-do my wedding a million times again, I would choose him every time. He’s a true professional and stand out guy. I was considering forgoing videography all together and then maybe even going cheaper on it, but you truly get what you pay for. The effort and dedication Daniel did from start to finish was amazing. He paid attention to what we cared about and also made sure we were comfortable the entire time. You’ll see that each video is tailored to each couple. He asked me what I liked about certain wedding videos from the very first interaction, and I knew very quickly I wanted to hire him because of how kind and gentle he was. We cannot recommend Daniel highly enough. He is a consummate professional and a master at what he does. First and foremost, the movies that he made for us were breathtaking. We chose Daniel after seeing the sample films on his website; the quality quotient of those films were above and beyond anyone else’s that we’d seen and so we knew the bar would be high. However, even that couldn’t prepare us for how amazing it was to see our own film; it truly felt like we had come out of a Hollywood set. All the little comments and notes that we’d sent him were incorporated in the most beautiful ways and the editing really recactured all the most magical moments of our day. Just as importantly, Daniel displayed an absolute masterclass on how to make the wedding day effortless and enjoyable as a vendor. Daniel went above and beyond in working with us to optimize our schedule, letting us know which parts of the day historically take longer than planned, where we might want to build in time buffers, etc, helping ensure that the day went as smoothly as possible. He also kindly offered his time before the wedding to better get to know us personally and to get additional shots ahead of the chaos that is the wedding day. Daniel displayed boundless creativity in getting the best shot possible, making the most out of any background and lighting. We have not yet seen our final video but if the shots he shared during the day and his body of work are representative (that’s why we chose him after all), we have absolute confidence in the delivery of a tremendous product. One thing that stands out about Daniel is his attention to detail. He put in the work to scout our locations ahead of time (not just the venue but also our getting ready location, first look location, etc), which was extremely appreciated. His detail-orientation also came through in the questions he asked us before the process began. He sought to understand our history and relationship, our personalities and the parts of our wedding that meant the most to us in order to best craft our story. He is very easy to speak to and work with, which made all the mundane aspects of the day (posing, getting shots) enjoyable and effortless. One understated quality in a videographer / photographer is their ability to direct the wedding party, other vendors as well as any crowds (especially in NYC!) to get the perfect shots and Daniel was absolutely able to step up to the role to capture perfection in every shot. We would also note that Daniel was quick, prompt, and insightful with all his replies, giving us tremendous peace of mind that he was on top of our event. We would not hesitate to recommend Daniel to anyone and plan to actively recommend him to any of our friends that are getting married.

We LOVED working with Daniel for our wedding video. My husband and I eloped, and we wanted something to be able to show our families/friends later. He came to our hotel early to get videos of us all throughout the morning AND stayed late to make sure he captured all the fun surprises throughout the night! As any bride, I was CLUELESS on who to choose for my videographer. All I had heard was, “The only thing we regret is not having a video of our wedding.” I’ve seen previous brides’ video and thought it was precious! Wow, Daniel is a superstar. From the beginning, we knew that we had found our match. He took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple to really understand how we wanted to remember our special day together. Honestly it felt less like we were working with a videographer and more like we were working with one of our close friends. On our actual wedding, it never felt forced, it just felt like he was capturing the moments of our day. He and his team were so much fun to hang around as well and it honestly felt so natural to have them be a part of our day. But the icing on the cake, is the amazing job that he did in making our wedding video. Anyone can film and send you a video of the day. He captured our wedding essence in his video and every time we watch them, the emotions that we felt that day keep rushing back. He is such an amazing person to work with and such a talented filmmaker. If you work with him, you will definitely have an incredible videography experience before, during, and after your wedding day.

I'll preface this review by saying that we were extra picky about selecting a videographer. We wanted a wedding video that captured us as individuals, not just us on our wedding day. We scoured through many other videographer's wedding reels, and most were either formulaically cheesy or mediocre in film quality. When we finally stumbled upon Daniel, we knew he was our only choice - and boy did he not disappoint. Truly can't imagine loving our wedding video more. It's just gorgeous. A quick look through his website will give you an idea of how unique his videos are and how tailored they are to the couple. What many couples realize throughout the wedding planning process is that while the commodities themselves (flowers, videos, photos, etc.) are important, the vendor's services (responsiveness, flexibility, demeanor) are all equally important things to consider on your wedding day. Daniel was just the nicest and most responsive vendor from start to finish. He put us at ease and he put us first. Can't recommend him enough! Thank you, Daniel!

We worked with Daniel and his team for our wedding in New York (Central Park) in April 2022. Our wedding planning process was longer and more complicated than we expected (we rescheduled our wedding date twice due to the pandemic), but Daniel was always friendly, patient, enthusiastic, helpful and supportive. He made sure to get to know us a couple and clarify our exact videography preferences before the big day. Daniel also had a number of additional filming suggestions for the wedding day itinerary that turned out perfectly. On the day itself, Daniel and his team were fantastic: highly professional, enthusiastic, personable, obtaining all the footage they needed while making us feel relaxed and at ease. We received four produced videos about four months after our wedding day (4 minute highlight film, 20 minute feature film, 20 minute speeches film, and 25 minute ceremony film), and we are DELIGHTED with the quality of them! The highlight film and feature film are expertly produced and perfectly capture our original vision. Daniel was also highly accommodating in making two small changes to the films at our request. We highly recommend Daniel Wu Productions - you will not be disappointed!

Daniel and his team were so lovely to work with! We must have looked through a hundred videographers and once we saw Daniel's work, we knew he was the one. His videos are incredible and his aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for. Let me start off by saying I had a very clear picture of what I wanted the videos to look like, sound like, and feel like. Daniel listened and added his creative vision to bring it to life. We had quite a particular request for Daniel, we were looking for a videographer to capture our lives in NYC so we could screen it at our wedding reception back home in Thailand. They can get quite silly and loud but Daniel was able to gather everyone together and get all the beautiful shots. Daniel was like a ninja the day of the wedding, we hardly noticed him capturing every single moment and detail. We absolutely LOVE our videos and so glad we added the documentary edit as well!!

We went back and forth about spending the money on a videographer, and choosing Daniel was one of the best decisions we made and I would have regretted it after if we hadn't. Such a great person to work with, and Daniel clearly has a passion for his work. The presentation of the final product was immaculate and more than we expected. When you’re getting married the day is a whirlwind and no matter how present you are it's likely you won't remember the details. Daniel was absolutely AMAZING!! At the very last minute (month before our wedding) we decided we wanted a videographer. We couldn't have had a more perfect experience. With all the other details we were trying to finalize with our wedding the last thing Daniel wanted us to feel was a sense of being overwhelmed. He made our last minute decision so smooth and seamless that it was as if we had him planned since the beginning of our engagement. As for the quality of the video, words cannot even express how wonderful it turned out, it was better than we could have EVER expected. My husband and I are not the types of people who like to be video taped, however Daniel is such a natural and makes you feel completely comfortable and really captures you and your every day self. I can honestly say, half the time I didn't even notice he was taping us. We couldn't thank Daniel enough for what he did for us and for making our wedding so special with the video. Making the last minute decision to book him was one of the best decisions we made with our wedding and we wouldn't trade it for the world.

Daniel is truly amazing. When choosing vendors for your special day, you really look for someone that you, your significant other, and the wedding party will really click with. Daniel was that guy! He made everyone feel so comfortable with being filmed. He was able to handle all the girls running around in chaos, as well as manage the rowdy group of guys at the other house. Things don't always go as planned the day of the wedding, and when we ran into some issues, Daniel kindly offered to help us any way he could. We really can't thank him enough! We received our wedding highlight film not too long after the wedding, and the video is EVERYTHING we had hoped for. It was perfect!
