The best decision we made with our wedding was to hire Danielle to do our photos. Immediately from our first meeting to do our engagement photos Danielle made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and had patience with my goofy husband. If we thought our engagement photos were good, our wedding photos were somehow even more magical. You spend a lot of time with your photographers during the day and there is no one else we would have wanted to spend it with! We are so in love with all of our photos and you can really see what a blast we had and how much love there was! We had to move up our wedding date and Danielle was so accommodating and helped us find a date she was still available! Cannot recommend Danielle enough!!

I highly recommend Danielle for all of your photography needs. Not only is Danielle fun and kind, she is extremely talented. We did an engagement session with her in Stowe prior to our wedding at Burke Mountain. She made my husband and me feel extremely comfortable and had us laughing right away. Prior to the wedding, we talked through the entire day-of timeline. She was extremely helpful organizing the day. During the wedding day, she was efficient and attentive. She did a great job of gathering everyone for different combinations of photos. Guests commented on how friendly and welcoming she was during the wedding. Danielle felt like part of our wedding family. My mom broke her wrist prior to the wedding and was worried about her cast showing in all of our pictures. Danielle did a great job not drawing attention to the cast. We received our wedding photos back very quickly, which we did not expect. The day before the wedding, we chose to have her stay an extra hour to get more reception photos. Danielle was extremely flexible and accommodating. The cost was very reasonable and was well worth the extra photos. Danielle is the best wedding photographer! We recommend her very highly!

OMG I can not say enough good things about Danielle. My husband and I do NOT get our photos taken often, and are not the most natural in front of cameras. Danielle made us feel at ease, comfortable, and made us laugh within the first 5 minutes. All of her photos came out incredible, and she had a fast turn around time as well! She took amazing photos without ever having us feel like she was taking away from the moment.

I cannot thank Danielle enough for all of her work! I have known Danielle for many years and it is truly amazing to see her shine in her career. She is able to capture the most stunning shots in a timely and efficient way. We had a rambunctious group for the wedding party and some excited family, she was able to give excellent guidance while keeping calm. Danielle is the actual best. First off, she's very kind and sweet, which is what you need to balance out some of the chaos of the day. Second, her work is everything. I only have my sneak peek so far (which honestly came at the perfect time because I definitely was having the after wedding blues!) and I'm already obsessed. She really embraces that while the photos are about us, she also incorporates the landscape around her, which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Danielle is willing to do whatever she needs for the perfect shot, even if that means climbing into a bush! My husband and I definitely needed some help with posing and she walked us through all the basics. She made us feel very comfortable and caught us at our posing best but also at our posing worst when we are just laughing at each other (which are also amazing). And to top it off, she is incredibly organized and willing to help you with vendor and timeline suggestions. Look no further, Danielle is wonderful!

We seriously cannot recommend Danielle enough! She was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Danielle was professional and extremely friendly and fun. After our engagement session, my husband (who doesn’t love photos) said he was so excited for the wedding after meeting and working with her. She made us feel so comfortable behind the camera. She helped talk and work through our entire timeline and made sure every aspect I wanted was included in the day. We did not have a coordinator or planner, but Danielle was quick to ensure everyone was where they needed to be and make sure the timeline went smoothly! After the wedding, we had our sneak peak back in less than 2 days and over 100 “highlight” photos back just a few days after that. The photos are absolutely beautiful and such high quality. Danielle was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I will always recommend her!!

We can not recommend Danielle enough. From the first conversation over FaceTime I knew we were in great hands. My husband and I are two people who do not like our pictures taken, but she made it so easy. The engagement session was amazing for us to start our relationship and rapport with Danielle. We were able to laugh together and learn different poses to practice for our special day. On our wedding day, Danielle was extremely helpful with ANY question I had for her. (many of them being wedding logistics!) Her expertise put some before ceremony anxiety to ease. My husband and I also really love how she edits the pictures - we are so in love with the pictures we have seen so far! We will always recommend Danielle and her work.

Danielle was an absolute dream to work with! From the engagement shoot to the wedding day she was incredibly professional yet also made us feel comfortable and at ease. She worked seamlessly with our planner to make sure our wedding day timeline was a success. Our guests and wedding party kept commenting on how calm she was. My husband and I couldn't agree more. It was such a treat to have her energy with us all day. Danielle herself is a joy to work with, and her photos are absolutely stunning. Danielle was great! We did our engagement photos with her, and right from there we knew she was a good match. She was fun, energetic, and knew what was she was doing. She worked with us on what we wanted done and how to go about it. She also created a timeline with backup plans to ensure everything day of went smooth. Danielle had a sneak peak back to us quickly. Although it took a while to get our full album of pictures back (thanks COVID), we were so happy with our results. If you want good quality pictures at a good price, chose her!

Danielle was great! My husband and I planned our wedding in five weeks and Danielle was the first vendor we secured! She agreed to fly all the way to Virginia just for our wedding! Honestly, I think she was almost as excited for our wedding as we were : ) We knew we would be in good hands from the moment we decided to go with Danielle. She made both of us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and my nieces just adored her to know end! I would highly recommend Danielle! She definitely acted and felt like a friend more than a vendor and that was exactly what we wanted. Our wedding ended up being an intimate destination wedding and Danielle only added to that! My husband and I cannot recommend Danielle enough! She is such a warm-hearted, kind human being that you can't help but be comfortable while she takes your photos. We worked with her both for our 2019 engagement shoot and our 10/23/21 wedding, and both times we were so impressed with her! She is so organized, responsive, and truly cares about capturing the love and genuine emotion of your special day. This is the second time my wife and I have used Danielle as our photographer for our wedding. We had to postpone our reception last year due to COVID but Danielle photographed our ceremony and we could not be happier with how the pictures turned out. This year Danielle photographed our reception and once again she was amazing. We finalized a timeline with her easily with just a few emails. Taking pictures with Danielle is very easy. She knows exactly how to pose people and where the best places are at your venue for pictures. When we arrived, she had already scoped out a few good places for pictures, so we didn’t lose any time. She knows how to gently direct large groups of people when taking photos so that family pictures run very smoothly. Our family photos we were still finished with them in about 20 minutes, leaving us a plenty of time to enjoy our own cocktail hour. The size of our combined families is on the smaller side but we were still very impressed with how Danielle ran the photo session. After cocktail hour, Danielle captured amazing pictures of our first dance, toasts food at the venue and some sunset photos of my wife and I. She knew how to capture moments without getting in the way and we didn’t even notice she was there most of the time. What left the largest impression on us was how committed Danielle was to making our wedding the best it could possibly be. When we decided to postpone our reception last year, Danielle was completely supportive of us and modified our contact with her no questions asked. In fact, before we even made the decision, Danielle had already reached out to use letting us know she would support whatever we decided. She took an enormous amount of stress off us in what was a very stressful time. There are a lot of photographers out there that will take good pictures of you but there is only one Danielle. You want her on your wedding team because she will support you through whatever wedding challenges you might face. Hire her; you will not regret it.

We love Danielle Allendorf Photography! My husband and I were married in October 2020, and we hired Danielle as our wedding photographer shortly after becoming engaged in the beginning of 2019. It was her beautiful pictures on social media that caught our eyes, but we soon learned that she is equal parts an incredible photographer and an awesome person. Ever since we began working with her, from the first steps of the planning process through the wedding day itself, Danielle was absolutely wonderful to work with. She has the most easy going and kind demeanor. Any time we spoke throughout the year or so before our wedding, she was a source of calm during the stress! She was easily accessible throughout the whole planning process, and was always willing to answer our many questions. And, when the big day was right around the corner, she came up with a plan of the whole day that would help to capture the best pictures...and her plan worked perfectly. On our wedding day, even though she had a thousand things to do, she remained measured and calm, and juggled all of the events of the day with the grace of a seasoned professional. When we received our final wedding gallery shortly after the wedding, my husband and I were absolutely blown away. Danielle didn’t miss a single detail...all of her pictures brought the day back to us with such clarity. And, the quality of the pictures is just stunning. We are so grateful that we chose Danielle to capture our day!! She was nothing short of amazing. We had the best experience working with her and would recommend her again and again.

2020 was not an easy year to plan a wedding, but we never had to worry about the photography element because we had Danielle. Through the constant starts and stops of the pandemic, hiring her turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. We instantly connected with her during our engagement session and knew we were in good hands. She’s everything you want in a photographer for your wedding - relaxed when you’re feeling nervous, thoughtful when you don’t have time to be, and dependable when you need an anchor. Danielle is also a warm and inviting personality and you can tell she’s really having fun when she’s shooting your wedding - that’s important! Our shoots never felt robotic or forced and she is an expert at harnessing light and composition to coax our best poses out of us. In terms of delivery, she turned around our wedding blog in less than a week, and shared over 1K photos with us a few weeks later. We were blown away by her creativity and love her light and airy style. The photos look amazing and we’ve gotten so many compliments from other guests on how awesome Danielle was during the ceremony and reception. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer to capture your special day, stop all your other research and hire Danielle. We couldn’t be happier that we did!

Danielle shot our wedding on Aug 15, 2020 and was absolutely amazing! Danielle had come highly recommended to us by another wedding photographer and her blog photos made it clear she's a professional. She is not only incredibly sweet and positive, but also organized and works fast! Within 3 days of the wedding she had our wedding blog completed, which contained more than 200 edited photos and our wedding “story”. And then completed the full album of 1000+ wedding photos two weeks later. So many friends and family were not able to attend our wedding due to changes from COVID-19, it felt great when they started telling us how amazing the photos looked and how it made them feel like they were at the wedding. I'd recommend Danielle for anyone who needs a photographer. By the end of the event you're going to want to be best friends with her!

What a breath of fresh air! Danielle made getting married, even during a pandemic a breeze. We are so thankful that a family friend recommended her, I couldn’t imagine our day without her. Not only are our engagement photos beautiful but she happened to be visiting our hometown and took them for us locally. We instantly connected and I knew that our big day was going to be in amazing hands. Now our big day, it had been beyond stressful due to COVID but Danielle was beyond accommodating to our outdoor wedding. Every single photo was amazing, I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. We hired Danielle based on online reviews and samples of her photography and we were beyond happy with the work she produced. She took magazine worthy photos of our wedding and reception that will last us a lifetime. Our big day was only one day, but these photos are absolutely priceless. Our friends and family took a few shots and they could not compare to what she captured. She knows light and photo composition for both portraits and group shots. Danielle is a relaxed, warm, and friendly person who made everyone feel very at ease during the shoot. She was thoughtful and reliable and made sure to get each shot we had asked for. She met with us for dinner before the event, so we could get to know one another and to lay out specifics of how the day would go. Beyond living up to her own expectations, she exceeded ours. She was interested in getting to know us as a couple in order to capture the essence of our day. I think that is a very important part! I would absolutely recommend her for her photography skills and personable nature.

Our wedding was in December of 2019 and Danielle truly made our day amazing! She is the sweetest and most patient person I have ever met. From the moment I spoke on the phone with Danielle she made me feel comfortable and excited. No idea or scenario was too much for her. I had lots of questions and concerns throughout the entire planning process and she was patient the entire time. She captured all our love and fun of the day and made us feel more comfortable than we thought possible. She was even gracious with more difficult family members. After our wedding she was prompt in giving us a sneak peak of our photos and they did not disappoint! Her photos were beautiful, capturing the sweet moments as well as the funny ones. I can’t imagine anyone else having been our photographer :)

Glenn and I were married in October 2019 at the Inn at the Round Barn Farm. I LOVE Fall and I mean – completely obsessed. We were engaged in April 2019, so naturally we wanted a Fall wedding (the same year-no small feat), but here is the thing, I also wanted Fall engagement photos. Not a typical timeline, but then again I was not your average bride! Danielle was amazing and completely rolled with our request! Engagement photos were taken the first weekend of October, the wedding was the last weekend of October – I did not expect us to have engagement photos back before the wedding and made sure she knew that – no stress. But much to our surprise we had them within 2 weeks and they were amazing. Danielle suggested taking them at the Von Trapp Family Lodge; between Fall leaves, perfect weather and a few animals it couldn’t have been a more fun afternoon. When Danielle got to the Round Barn for the wedding I wanted her to just do what she does best – take pictures, and that she did. I had few requests, but the few I had, she ran with and the pictures couldn’t have come out more perfect. Danielle is such a soft and kind soul, we adored her upon first meeting. She meets you where you are physically and emotionally. During the ceremony we forgot she was even there. Danielle quickly realized how much I love Fall and my love for animals, our photos embodied the spirit of the changing season and our love for each other by wrapping all of this up one perfect package. The best part of all of this… we had fun. Danielle allowed us to be our silly selves and joined in with us. Not only do I recommend Danielle for all fun loving, low key couples, but I will be using her in the future for my own business adventures – she is that good! Danielle was the best wedding photographer we could ask for! She did our engagement session and also our big day. She met with us on the phone a few times to really ensure she knew what we were looking for, our vibe of the events, how we interacted as a couple, and together we formulated a plan for photos. Danielle was overly kind, thoughtful (I swear she held the rain for both our engagement session and our wedding day), professional and always on time. I am shocked with how busy she is, how fast her turn around time for photos are. We loved every single photo and I still can't stop replaying the album. She made sure to get all of our requested photos, even when we decided we wanted more last minute. She also was VERY professional when needing to step in for that pushy family member that doesn't quite understand that as the bride/groom- you have already formulated the plan/order of photos with your photographer. I can't rave enough about how she captured our day exactly how we imaged and from the start she felt like a close friend! You will not be disappointed with Danielle's work.

Danielle and I were serendipitously assigned to be roommates while studying abroad in England and it was there that I first witnessed her intense love for photography, not to mention her comedic antics as she positioned herself all sorts of ways during our travels around European cities to get ‘the shot’. This dedication to her craft has only further developed and I was so excited to have her as our wedding photographer. My only concern was that she still enjoyed herself, since she would have otherwise been a guest! However, from day one she exemplified nothing but professionalism, assuring me and my husband, Eric, that we were in good hands. Since our wedding and reception was located in our home state of Connecticut, it was a bit of a destination wedding for Danielle. What I believe was going the extra step, but for her was probably only second nature, is the pit stop she made on her drive down to check out our reception venue and a nearby state park where we wished to have our wedding party pictures taken. (I won’t even begin to mention how she traveled to Oregon last year to capture our engagement photos, but you get the idea of her level of commitment and loyalty.) She familiarized herself with the venue and scouted the park for ideal shooting locations since Eric and I never had the chance to do so ourselves. On the day of our wedding she completely led the way, relieving Eric and I from having any responsibility in wrangling our 13 person wedding party. She was cool, calm, and received probably a mild sunburn as she organized our extended family for group portraits outside the church. And, she smiled through it all, making me wonder how I got so lucky to have one less wedding item to worry about and hundreds of beautiful pictures to remember a day that goes by in the blink of an eye.

We truly feel that fate brought Danielle to us! Recommended by one of her colleagues (already a good sign in and of itself), she happened to be available on our date. Her prices were very reasonable, and being a couple of shy people anxious about the prospect of being in front of a camera, we knew she was the right choice for us from the moment we met for coffee to talk about our vision for our wedding. Danielle is sweet, professional, and unassuming (and apparently invisible...we have no idea how she got some of the amazing shots she did at the wedding since she found a way to be so inconspicuous!) but also tremendously talented and creative. She captured exactly the kinds of images we wanted to memorialize our special day without our even being able to express quite what we were looking for, and she did so in a way that was not only supremely comfortable for both of us but also thoughtfully organized and efficient since we wanted to enjoy our guests and party rather than feeling “stuck” taking pictures the whole time. She managed to achieve the best of both worlds and we’re so thankful to have discovered her.

Words cannot express how amazing Danielle is!! To start, she is just cute as a button! The photos we received not only for our wedding, but the complimentary engagement shoot and rehearsal dinner add-on we did, will be treasured by our entire family forever. She is talented, hard-working and a calm friend on a day filled with some jitters! And her prices are so reasonable! Working with Danielle was absolutely seamless from the initial intro call, to drafting a photography timeline and of course ..the day of our wedding. Not only is Danielle professional and talented, she's authentic and sweet too which clearly shows in the images. I don't even know where to start with how great Danielle was and how thankful we were to have found her for our wedding day! My husband and I hate being the center of attention and when I'm feeling that pressure I tend to get awkward and borderline weird. I went in with the expectation that I wouldn't have a ton of great wedding photos (on us not on her). However, Danielle made me so calm and comfortable - she felt like a friend with a camera at the wedding not like a vendor. I love the wedding photos I've seen so much that I can't even pick a favorite!! She made us so relaxed which I believe is truly a gift of a photographer that not many have! Danielle has it and more!! She coached us where to stand and how to look, and also allowed us to still be who we are! Also, a super big shout out that during our engagement photos she was super patient with us - we had to ride a ferry to Burton Island (that the first time we met wasn't running) and we had both our dogs. She never once made me feel like we were annoying her. Danielle was patient, kind, and overall has a good soul - those are the qualities that truly make a good photographer. I'm trying to come up with another reason to book her for photography! Haha Book her when you can! I have a feeling she's just going to get better and better!

Danielle photographed my brother's wedding and our whole family has been loving the photos. My brother and his wife loved Danielle's style; from the engagement photos through the photos she recently posted on the blog, it is so awesome to see the smiles that come to their faces as they scroll through them. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Danielle. My husband and I have never been very photogenic, and we were worried that we wouldn’t know how to take good pictures on our wedding day. I even had the thought, “If we get three or four nice photos, I will be happy”. Luckily, that was not the case. Danielle coached us through every scene, every photo. You can tell that she has a vision of what she wants to see, and every single photo she took that day was beautiful. We had a large wedding party, but that did not phase Danielle at all. She quickly and efficiently orchestrated every group photo. The cues and tactics she used captured the true essence of our friendships. The forecast for our wedding day called for rain, thunderstorms and hail. I was devastated. I called Danielle to ask if we could change our timing so we could get a few photos in before the storms. She happily obliged and we came up with a new game plan. I was so thankful and relieved that we were able to get every shot we wanted before the rain came. After the showers had passed, Danielle pulled us out because she had spotted a beautiful rainbow. We will always remember those moments on the hill near the barn, dancing under a rainbow on our wedding day. From the day we met for our initial conversation, until the day she delivered our gallery, we never had a doubt in our minds that Danielle was the perfect photographer for us. She was kind, creative, organized, and genuine. We are so happy with the entire experience, and we highly recommend Danielle to any future brides and grooms looking to capture their wedding day in a beautiful light.

Danielle made my wedding photography dreams come true. She was so easy to interact with and flexible. She understood my vision and answered all my questions and helped me think through and even plan some of the details to make our wedding day and all the pieces go smoothly. Danielle was so wonderful to work with! Planning a Vermont wedding from New Jersey, I was anxious about everything coming together on schedule the day of the wedding. Danielle easily created a timeline for the day to ensure that we had enough time for all of the pictures we wanted, and she was great at maneuvering between all of the various locations on site where pictures were taken. She is so friendly and creates a warm, comfortable atmosphere while still maintaining her professionalism. Before the wedding, Danielle sent us a document for us to list all of the combinations of portraits we wanted taken. She was very organized and made sure that we got every picture we wanted the day of - and checked several times to ask if there were any other shots we wanted. We got married on a hot, cloudless day in August, and she was very flexible on the day of the wedding to help us find the best location for portraits - both in terms of lighting and temperature. I am a naturally anxious and high-strung person, and Danielle had me feeling so at ease throughout the day. Her turnaround time with pictures was great, and we really appreciate having full access to our online gallery! From her personality to the quality of her pictures, we can't say enough about how great it was to work with Danielle!

WOW! Danielle was so kind, professional, responsive, creative, and a very genuine person. After working with Danielle for our wedding, I can't imagine having anyone else capture every moment! During the wedding she was a pleasure to be around, respected the schedule, and was EVERYWHERE! It was amazing - all day she was respectfully floating around taking photos and like a total rockstar she posted her top 50 photos on her blog within TWO DAYS of the wedding! It was great to be able to share a link to the photos IMMEDIATELY after the wedding - who does that?!?!? To say "we love our wedding pictures" would be an understatement. Words cannot describe how impressed my husband and I were when we received our pictures from our wedding. Danielle sent us sneak peeks in the first couple weeks, and within about a month, our entire gallery. Our wedding was a dream, and thanks to Danielle we get to relive this dream through remarkable pictures that captured every moment of our day. In looking at our gallery, I felt like I was there when my husband and his friends were getting ready. It was so fulfilling to see pictures of moments we missed, and the small details we can always appreciate. She is full of pose ideas which make things fun and fast paced so we could head to our reception on time. Danielle was amazing to work with! She is very approachable and completely put us at ease for our engagement shoot. Our photos came out so natural and absolutely gorgeous. She did an amazing job on our wedding day as well. She captured all the beautiful moments of our day, big and small - the candid shots were stunning and really captured the emotions and the feel of the day. It was everything we hoped for and more! Another big bonus was that she gave us all our photos in an easy online album, which we could instsntly share with all our friends and family. We are SO happy we picked Danielle and we would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer!

Danielle is hands down the best wedding photographer you can find. She is calm, communicative and has an incredible gift for photography. Each and every one of the photos from our wedding captures the day exactly as we hope to remember it for years to come. She puts people at ease when she is taking photographs and creates a stunning gallery of photos that captures all of your special moments - from intimate shots of just the two of you to large group family photos. Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with through initial inquiry, planning sessions, emails, you name it. Most importantly though, she made us feel so comfortable being in front of the camera. She was also really helpful in guiding me through the day-of timeline. Our families were so impressed with her warm personality and professionalism. The icing on the cake was receiving our gallery of wedding photos within a month after the wedding! We are so happy that she was part of our special day and now we have some amazing keepsake photos!

Danielle was a DREAM to work with! She had us fill out a questionnaire regarding sets of photos we wanted etc and helped us with things we hadn't even thought of! We feel SO lucky to have found Danielle!! She was an absolute breeze to work with, and that allowed us to focus on every other aspect of our wedding planning process. She clicked with us right away when we met for our engagement photos, helping us look natural and effortless instead of awkward and stiff. Our wedding was small (30 people) and Danielle fit in like part of the family. She was organized, efficient, relaxed, and even got amazing pictures of our camera shy flower girl. You spend a lot of time with your photographer the day of your wedding - make sure it's someone you enjoy being around, like Danielle!! We worked with her for both our engagement and wedding photography and really enjoyed working with her for both! Danielle magically manages to simultaneously take control of the photo shoot (so you get the shots you want) and fade into the background (so you forget there's a camera around). Literally every one of my bridesmaids complimented me on her -- both of the quality of photos and her personality. Her photos are a lasting memory of our wedding day and make me smile every time I see them. Book her!

We loved working with Danielle! She's super organized and came prepared with a list of all the shots we wanted, in addition to helping us determine exactly what we wanted to capture before the craziness of the wedding day. She was great at telling us how to pose (where family members should stand, how to hold my bouquet, etc.). Her rates were very reasonable, and when we decided a week before the wedding that we wanted her for a couple hours more than what we booked, she accommodated us without batting an eyelash. Our photo gallery was delivered within a month, as promised, in a user-friendly digital format. Thank you, Danielle!

Danielle was PHENOMENAL!! Prior to the wedding we got together to go through the schedule of the day twice and she was always quick to respond to any questions that we had. She really spent the time getting to know us and made making our day perfect a priority of hers. She was so easy to work with and had wonderful ideas for our photos...but also listened to the ideas that we had. The photos far exceeded our expectations and I can't stop looking at them, they are just so beautiful. If you are looking for a photographer you need not look any further. Not only is Danielle a genuine person and an extremely professional photographer, but she is also exceptionally talented - her photos are breathtaking (family and friends won't stop talking about how beautiful the photos are (wedding & engagement)). There were a few hiccups on my wedding day and Danielle was calm and reliable - exactly the type of person you want on a day that can be extremely stressful. If you take anything away from this review please take this - choose Danielle!
