Her compassion, flexibility, and willingness to work with us meant more than I can properly put into words. She was also wonderful throughout the entire process — professional, communicative, patient, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day special. We never felt like just another couple or another date on the calendar. Danielle made us feel heard and cared for, and that made such a difference during what can otherwise be a very overwhelming process. And we absolutely have to give a HUGE shoutout to Jason, our videographer! We are incredibly grateful that he was there to capture our wedding day. He was professional, thoughtful, and clearly incredibly dedicated to his work. he style of photos were just basic honestly which was fine and our photos came out beautiful in the end. But unfortunately I wish we went with someone else at the end of the day. As far as her videogragher that she recommends PLEASE book someone else. He was unable to provide ANY footage of my dad and I walking down the aisle. The excuse was that the camera wasn't on or it got "moved" which turned it off. A bride and her father walking down the aisle is the most important part of a wedding in my opinion. It was just excuse after excuse, he had been traveling a lot to handle some family matters which is all fine but you need to also do your job/what we paid you for. A lot of the video footage is blurry or non existent which is very sad. My husband works in film so finally after a lot of back and forth Joel sent us the raw footage so now my husband has to make our wedding video instead. After asking for a refund or something back, the response was he cannot due to taking care of his family. I really hope Joel is no longer working because clearly he cannot do two things at once. Very sad!!!

Partly due to this review and ongoing personal issues, DBP has since made the difficult decision to part company with Joel as a recommended videography resource for our clients.

Terrible with communication, lots of excuses, and it’s been over a year since we got married and we still don’t some of the items included in our package, including the photo album...

promised. She makes a lot of excuses and frequently doesn’t answer texts or emails. Very frustrating and now we have to get legal involved. Would never use again. When searching for a photographer (or any vendor), if there is a lack of communication via email, phone call, and text prior to the wedding, cut your losses and find a different photographer. On top of that, several photos that we asked for weren’t included (example, bride and groom photo with both parents). Overall the pictures are subpar, lots of shadowing on people’s faces, people not looking at the camera, people hidden in our wedding party official shots (not being positioned properly), and several look unprofessional, like someone took them with an iPhone. There was an overall lack of attention to detail. When we brought these issues up after the wedding after seeing our photos (which we had to continuously hound for. She missed ALL of her own self imposed deadlines), she told us it was likely the fault of the second shooter and “you never know what you’ll get with them.” We paid for a second shooter under her company and she picked them, so I didn’t understand that response. Overall, very disappointing because pictures were the most important aspect of our wedding, so to have them not look as professional and crisp AND still not have a wedding album over a year later is just ridiculous.
