I cant say enough positive things about Danielle- she was a pleasure to work with for our wedding and we are SO happy with how our photos have turned out. My husband and I had a destination wedding, so we actually didnt meet Danielle until the day of. However, after talking with her on the phone, we were very confident with our decision to hire her to photograph our wedding. She was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding and set up multiple phone calls with us to talk about the flow of the day and what we wanted for our photos. On the day of the wedding, Danielle and her assistant were so great to work with. They immediately made us feel comfortable and kept us all on schedule without any problem. By the time we landed at our honeymoon destination, Danielle was already emailing us with wedding photos. She provided us with a really easy to use and organized website to see our photos. She even covered the shipping costs when we ordered prints of our wedding photos after the wedding. Overall, we are SO happy we worked with Danielle for our wedding. If you are considering it, book it NOW before her schedule gets full! Thank you Danielle for everything!

I could not say enough nice things about Danielle DeFiore Photography! We chose Danielle for our destination wedding in Colorado, and our wedding photos are stunning! She was prompt and present the day of the wedding. We were able to get great photos but enjoy the day as well. She was very easy to communicate with, and is such a sweet and genuine person! We were so pleased with Danielle! She is super personable and so easy to work with. She made us so comfortable and captured our day perfectly! Even though our photographer Danielle came recommended by our vendor we still felt that we were going into the selection process relatively blind. I hope this insight helps you go into the selection process with more clarity... Finding a great photographer is a big investment and trusting our big day to a stranger was scary. Even so from the very first phone call I knew that we were in great hands. Danielle is warm yet direct, professional yet easy going and ultimately made our satisfaction her priority. She made herself available before the event for pre-planning and organized our vision well, kept us all on track during the event to make sure to not miss a single requested photo, and got creative in making the most of the weather. She managed all the different personalities with a smile and trekked through the meadow to secure cliff side sunset shots and a beautiful rainbow after the weather rolled out. She is not just a talented professional with a great eye but a genuine person who you can count on to be flexible and make the most of your day. We absolutely plan to call Danielle for our upcoming events.

Danielle was the first vendor I booked right after I got engaged, and I couldn’t have made a better decision. My mom insisted in working with Danielle again after she had done some photos for my mom’s business and I was so happy we were on the same page. We even chose our date around her availability because I was so confident. In lieu of engagement photos, Danielle agreed to do a special shoot of our ring casting in downtown Fort Collins, and for our big day I eventually landed the Stanley Hotel up in Estes. I loved how Danielle captured the juxtaposition of the historic hotel and my boho wedding, we didn’t have a single bad photo. She completely understood my vision. Not only that, but she was great to work with. She went above and beyond her job, including helping me figure out the timeline of events, recommending local honey and other vendors, and agreeing to meet with me in person and over the phone probably more often than was necessary to calm my nerves! Plus she rolled with the changes when my day (as expected) was not on schedule. She was prompt in email responses, so kind and personable, and very forgiving when I missed nearly every requested deadline from being so overwhelmed. I can’t wait to work with her again in the future!

If I could give Danielle 100 stars, I would! She is absolutely amazing. Danielle did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and I could not be happier with everything she did. She has an impeccable eye and produced the most incredible photos, even with inclement weather on our wedding day. Beyond that, Danielle is wonderful to work with. She is friendly, sweet, quick to respond, and has great recommendations for flow and timing on the day of the wedding. I truly could not have been happier with our choice and I can't wait to work with Danielle again on family and baby (hopefully!) photos in the future!!

We had an excellent session with Danielle! We came from out of town and all communication was so prompt and clear. Since we weren't flexible on dates, and there was rain in the forecast, she moved our time around to accommodate us. She was fun and easy-going and my teenage kids even loved her. WE LOVE DANIELLE! We spoke to one other photographer before speaking with Danielle, and after talking to her we knew immediately that she was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She gave us SO SO much information, and so many things to consider when it came to hiring somebody to document our wedding. Not only was it the photos we viewed on her website, but just the vibe we got from Danielle that was the reason we hired her. She was there early for the wedding to take getting ready pictures, she took so many pictures not only of the wedding party, but of the guests as well which is so wonderful! Every time I look at the photos I find a new favorite. I love that we have these photos to remember our special day by. Not only are these pictures beautiful, but they are so meaningful. Daniel was there taking photos of moments that we would not have remembered happening. As my now husband and I were looking through the pictures we were so impressed by how "invisible" Danielle had made herself. This is not to say we did not want her around us by any means!! We just had not noticed her being there during the first look, the first dance, and other intimate and personal moments during the wedding. It is so wonderful how we now have those moments captured without us having felt awkward being photographed. If I ever have an event in which needs to be photographed, I will ONE MILLION PERCENT hire Danielle again! She is worth her weight in gold, and I recommend her to anybody and everybody wanting a sweet, kind, and professional photographer. We can't thank her enough!

We met Danielle as a wedding photographer, but through the process she became our dear friend. She is a true artist, a poet writing in digital and film. She was the epitome of expertise on our wedding day not simply from her style but her wonderful demeanor and ability to switch with ease from director to a supportive friend. We were blown away by her ability to direct our family as if she were one of them, as well as the love she gave to capturing each moment. She cared for us like we were family, effortlessly paying attention to every last detail. We were honored to have her present at our wedding and she brought beauty to our day that we could not have imagined. We took our engagement photos with Danielle (she'll be photographing our wedding in October!) and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is she professional and organized, but she makes you feel so comfortable. I have talked with countless friends who talk about how "awkward" engagement photo sessions can be, and we never felt that way with Danielle. All of our photos came out so natural and when it came down to choosing one for our "Save the Date", we had so many to choose from! Most importantly, Danielle was able to capture the emotion and excitement we had. We're so excited for October and to work with Danielle again! I 100% trust her to capture our special day!

Working with Danielle was easy from the very beginning. After our first call I knew she would be our photographer, she has a way of making you feel so comfortable and I knew that she had our best interests in mind during the whole wedding process. Our photos were beautiful, she captured all of the moments that were important to us and ones we had no idea we wanted but TOTALLY did! Outside of her talent, she is a genuinely beautiful person and having her be a part of our day felt so right. It would be the easiest recommendation I could make to a fellow couple contemplating working with Danielle, do it! I have super high standards in service and she knocked it out of the park!

I am not sure where to begin...and its been 6 years since we have had Danielle do our wedding photos and we are still amazed to this day. We continue to get compliments all the time as well. From the very first meeting (over a beer at a brewery) with Danielle we were so comfortable with her. She was direct and laid it all out for us. She was reasonable. She was kind. She was real. She cared. She dealt with my most difficult camera shy/ “don’t want my picture taken” husband with grace. AND anyone who can get that stubborn guy to do that and get amazing pictures, is the best in my book. That being said...it didn’t stop there, she has an amazing eye for capturing the perfect moments. Our backdrop helped out (Lower Lake Ranch in Pine, CO), but she caught all the best light in everyone. She was very (VERY) easy to work with on the wedding day and made it the least stress of all. We appreciate her talent immensely and recommend her over and over. We continue to stay in touch (not as much as we want) to enjoy her company to this day. I don’t know why anyone would choose anyone else. You can see her work and know for yourself. We chose her and will continue to for all our photography needs.

Choosing Danielle DeFiore to photograph our Colorado wedding was by far the best decision we made (second only to marrying each other.) Danielle made everything so easy, so calm. In the madness of our wedding day, having Danielle around to navigate my husbands enormous family and making sure she got all the photos we wanted was so reassuring. She has a calming, positive attitude that makes the craziness of a wedding seem just fine. When we received the photos I was completely overwhelmed by how beautiful they were! The mix of digital and film was really important to me and she even shot with her Holga (those ended up being my favorites.) Every image was stunning. I can't speak enough praises for Danielle DeFiore and her wedding photography work. For me, the personality of the photographer was very important. I wanted someone that I was very comfortable with since we would be spending a lot of time together on our big day.  Danielle is such a sweetheart! She put me totally at ease and wasn't overly aggressive in trying to get the perfect shot, but still was able to capture our day perfectly. All of my family and friends have been extremely impressed with the photos that she took.  I hope that in the future my husband and I can use her for some of our other major life milestones!

Danielle DeFiore is not only a very talented photographer but a very genuine and lovely person. I couldn't be happier with my decision to have her document our wedding day. From my first interactions with her, Danielle was enthusiastic, professional, and enjoyable to work with. She spent time getting to know me and my then fiancé. She used what she learned about us to tailor our photographs to fit our personalities. For our engagement session, she went as far as contacting a local rancher for access to his land in order to get some shots in front of a landmark close to my heart. Danielle met with me several times before the wedding day and was always available to discuss concerns. She meticulously coordinated the timing of all shots throughout the wedding day and even offered to deliver my dress to the church in order to get certain pictures. Most importantly, Danielle captured our wedding day perfectly; from the smallest details to beautiful portraits and candid shots.

Choosing Danielle to document our unique wedding day was one of the best decisions we made! She was so professional throughout the process and provided the structure we really needed to help us plan for our big day.  She warmly guided us, made helpful suggestions, regularly checked in with us and was helpful even after the wedding. We decided to fly Danielle all the way from Colorado to Virginia to capture our farm wedding. We took the leap of faith and trusted that she was the one with the type of talent we were looking for.  Her approach and style are fully unique to her.  She sees beyond the usual shots and poses and builds a complete story, from beginning to end. From soft, ethereal images to beautiful smiles of Grandma; she nailed it.   We had a hurricane visit on our wedding day and the rain and frigid drop in temperature didn't phase Danielle.  She had everything under control, despite having to take shots at four different locations.  She zipped down country roads in the rain to each of our locations to make sure she got everything and she even spent time the day after capturing the landscape and surrounding area, which produced BEAUTIFUL images of the countryside. One of the biggest take-aways from this process is that you have to choose what is most important to you for your wedding.  It has to be unique to you as a couple.  We decided to invest in our photographer and we can honestly say, it was the best decision we made.  Hands down!   Thank you, Danielle.  We can't stop looking at our photographs! Danielle documented our wedding day in a way that few artists can - by accurately conveying the love and feelings that were present. She has a great eye for detail and patience that makes you so comfortable in her presence...we are so grateful to have had her as our photographer! My husband and I hired Danielle DeFiore to be our wedding photographer without hesitation. We booked Danielle to shoot our engagement photos in Golden, Colorado this summer and it was easily the best decision we have made. We chose to take photos at a family cabin, and Danielle was more than willing to hike down the mountain with us.
