Let me start by saying that Danielle Flake is one of the sweetest and kindest souls you'll ever meet. I met Danielle for the first time back in March 2014 because she was the photographer at one of my best friends weddings. She was so great! Since then, we've got to watch her work again as she has shot 2 other of our good friends weddings and every time she blows me away with how TALENTED she is! I just knew that when it was finally my turn to get married I HAD to have her. Fast forward to 2018 and I am happily engaged, Danielle was the very first vendor we booked for our October 2019 wedding. I didn't know where we were getting married or what food we would eat, but I knew I had one of the best photographers on my team! Danielle and her husband have been photographing weddings for years and, as a bride let me tell you, you NEED an experienced photographer! She is very knowledgeable and a great multitasker. For me and my fiancé, we personally had not done many "professional" photos, so we were both a bit nervous. Danielle does a GREAT job at getting you to relax and captures AUTHENTIC smiles which believe it or not is very hard to do when you're being photographed for multiple hours on your wedding day. She shows up on time and organized which makes for SUCH a smooth process. Wedding day is chaos with all the moving parts and vendors that it could seem overwhelming, but not to Danielle. She sets up a timeline with you way in advance (and your wedding planner/coordinator if you have one) and allows plenty of time for all the vendors to do their thing and everyone to work seamlessly. Our wedding photos turned out better than I had even imagined which is really saying something because I've seen how good she is...for years! She really takes the time to get to know you and your fiancé on a personal level and that connection allows her to capture magic through her lens. We are so very thankful to have hired Danielle Flake Photography for our wedding and will cherish the memories she captured forever!

Danielle is absolutely incredible! We hired her for our wedding and she did our engagement photos as well and they were absolutely dreamy and I’ve never seen such beautiful pictures (because she is so talented haha)! She is also the easiest and best person to have with you on your wedding day because she is so calm and fun and easy to be around and she actually was the one who helped me find a room to go to for bustling my dress (because I forgot I had to do that haha)! She is an absolutely incredible photographer (I minored in visual communications so I am pretty particular too) and I would highly recommend her because she is fantastic and now we have the most beautiful photos to look back on!

Danielle is a wonderful photographer and went out of her way to make everything special. We have just received all of the photos about two weeks ago and they are wonderful. I cannot pick my favorite picture because there are so many. I do not have enough words to express how thankful I am to have had such a special photographer. Thank you so much Danielle!!!
