We would absolutely recommend Danielle to capture your wedding day, especially if you are having your wedding at Nestldown. She was highly professional, was easy to communicate wit...
h, and knew exactly what she was doing on the wedding day. Her attention to detail was abundant in the way she looked for the perfect lighting, in the timing to keep everything on schedule, and in her experience in finding all the perfect photo spots around Nestldown.
She was also amazing at working with and around all our other vendors. We watched her work perfectly in tandem with Daniel Bowen from Matter Video, as they were able to help each other get the perfect shots for both the videos and the photos.
Danielle is experienced and knows what she’s doing. She has an eye for beautiful pictures and the experience to make the vision come to life. We would highly recommend choosing her as your wedding photographer.

So honored to have worked with Danielle! She captured our family beautifully. I most appreciate her direction/guidance and patience with all our littles. Couldn't be more pleased w...

Danielle is an exceptional photographer. We had the pleasure of having her as the photographer for our eldest daughter's special day at Nestledown in 2021. Her work is truly breath...
taking, capturing not only the emotions of the couple but also the enchanting essence of the redwoods.
Impressed by her talent, we decided to entrust Danielle with the photography for our youngest daughter's wedding in Cabo, which took place at Sunset Monalisa, a stunning cliffside venue. True to form, Danielle exceeded our expectations, skillfully immortalizing the beauty of the surroundings. Her photographs perfectly captured the sunset, with the majestic arch in the background providing a picturesque backdrop for the couple.
One of the highlights was Danielle's ability to capture the couple's first dance against the backdrop of a fireworks display. Her skills were truly remarkable in freezing this magical moment in time. Without a doubt, we wholeheartedly recommend Danielle - she is an extraordinary photographer who consistently delivers outstanding results.
Danielle and her team were amazing for our wedding!! The team took the time to learn what shots were most important to us and made sure they all happened. I asked for some artistic...

Danielle is the perfect photographer for our Nestldown wedding!!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

r. We look through all these photos & can't help but keep smiling as we re-live the beautiful day.
From very first booking our Nestldown wedding in 2019, to looking through multiple photographers' photos, to choosing Danielle, to postponing our wedding from 2021 to 2023, to her sending us a wedding gift for our 2021 small wedding, to all the emails back & forth, to the phone calls to make sure we have everything we need, to finally meeting in person & loving every minute of working with her.... she's been so professional, kind, & understanding through this entire journey. My husband & I truly appreciate her time & letting us move our May 2021 wedding to May 2023 because the Pandemic.
Each of the precious moments she captured at Nestldown will be cherished by so many people for all the years to come. It's amazing we got to work with her- she even got married there too so she knew all the great spots- including the lighting! So easy to work with & let us know exactly what to do so we could get multiple shots to choose from later. You helped us throughout the photography process- giving us options, showing us where to go for the lighting & different backgrounds, having us be ourselves & get candid shots. From getting ready in the Guest House, to the First Look with my Dad & then my husband, to the ceremony site, to the Cocktail Hour, to the Reception, to the special dances & cake cutting, to the Grand Exit.... all our amazing photos reflect on how great of a photographer she is. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would.
You get the photos back fast & you have many to choose from. I feel like that's the only hard part haha, you have so many great photos that you don't know which ones to hang on your wall/put in frames- like about 1,000 is probably too many to put up in our house.
We value your photogenic eye in helping us capture so many special moments of our big day! You captured the essence of our love for each other & for the outdoors all in a single day.
And we look forward to working with you again!
Thank you so much.
With love,
The Goldsmiths
The BEST! We were fortunate to get to work with Danielle for our engagement and wedding photography. Danielle is such an incredible photographer and beautifully captures the moment...
s that you never want to forget. She has an eye for detail and is so much fun to work with. Could not recommend her enough for your next event or family shoot. She truly delivers!! Thank you, Danielle!!!
Danielle is THE Nestldown photographer, and has shot at the venue almost 100 times. We loved her journalistic style of photos and when we chose Nestldown as our venue, we knew she ...
was the one. Danielle is a pro’s pro - she knows the property like the back of her hand, and knows everything you’d expect a photographer to know and then some. Her expertise also means that she knows how to roll with the punches, and she handled any delays or in-the-moment requests with skill and grace. She edited our photos extremely promptly and they turned out gorgeous, with wonderful warm light. We highly recommend Danielle for your wedding photography, especially if it’s at Nestldown.
Hire Danielle! We chose Danielle as our wedding photographer ten years ago. She was fabulous then and she is fabulous now. We had a beautiful engagement shoot and wonderful wedding...

We chose Danielle for our wedding after seeing what an incredible job she did for our friends’ big day. When the pandemic struck, she was the most flexible of our vendors in resche...
duling, which we really appreciated. We loved the incredible engagement and wedding photos she took for us so much that we reached out to her for our maternity photos as well. Our friends and family constantly compliment all of the photos we get from Danielle! She’s also the sweetest and we love working with her. We’ll be calling on her for future family photos!
Danielle is fantastic! Prior to working with Danielle I was more or less convinced I'd never take a picture I liked. Once I saw our engagement photos all my concerns were washed aw...
ay. It was truly a gift to know that Danielle would be able to capture our wedding day exactly how we had hoped. She reads her clients super well, and adapts her style to make it work. She even notices small things like, when I was feeling fatigued from pics, brings humor when needed and just makes you feel so at ease. I feel so lucky we were able to score Danielle for our wedding. Thank you Danielle!
Danielle is spectacular. We’ve had our pictures for a month now and we still look at them all the time. Our guests rave about the photos whenever we see them. We got married at Nes...
tldown, so in our mind there really wasn’t a choice since half of the photographs that helped us fall in love with the venue were Danielle’s photographs to begin with. We felt reaffirmed in our decision by the time the wedding came. Both my husband and I hate being the center of attention, but our time with Danielle flew by, and we hardly felt like we were being posed. Her instructions were effortless and we ended up laughing a lot. We were giddy to get the pictures back, and could easily favorite any of the 1000+ photos she took. We are still neglecting choosing our top photos for our wedding album since it’s so hard to choose, and we can’t wait to send thank you cards to family with some of her photos included. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer (and person) to be a part of our special day!
Words really don't do justice for what Danielle can do. The images speak for themselves. To express my gratitude for her work simply, is to say that it is magic. She has glittering...
eyes that truly see and capture the love and magic between two people.
Danielle is a true gem! She is extremely artistic with light and nature. Book well in advance. We were very lucky that Danielle was available for our Sunday wedding. If you have a ...
photo site in mind, be sure to discuss it in advance to make sure light, etc. is in your favor. If you have poses in mind, don't forget to bring them up. In all the craziness of our big day, I forgot a handful of poses I wanted. We weren't too concerned about the portraits, but if you want them all very formal (hands on hips, hands clasped in front/back, straight down), be sure to ask Danielle or her assistant to direct people.
Her talent is just unbelievable! My husband and I were just married at Nestldown and she did our wedding and engagement photos. We are very very happy with our photos. They are bea...
utiful and unique. We were specifically looking for work that would highlight nature and play with special lighting and keep us looking natural yet romantic. Danielle is very very good at doing all these things. My profile picture is from her, hehe.
She's also very prompt. I've heard complaints from other brides that their photographers take months and months, Danielle certainly does not take too long. She's also flexible and down to earth, but she can also get things going! Of course, we were running behind at the wedding and she was very good about making sure she didn't add to our delayed schedule.
The only small comment I have is that she does not deliver digital files until after the wedding, so I did not have digital files of my engagement session for my wedding website and invitations. Danielle provides the option to buy one digital file at a time, but it's quite expensive... I would have been happy to even use a branded version of the photos to give her credit. I think the policy should be reconsidered, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker! Just wanted to make sure other brides are aware as it can change your planning for budgeting and design of website and invitations.
She is very well priced considering the high caliber of her work. I used the Nestldown vendor list to find her, and I was really excited that my favorite photographer, Danielle, was NOT the most expensive at all. Made our decision a no brainer.
We will definitely be calling her again when we get pregnant and have our babies =D
We got married over two years ago, and looking back over the pictures that Danielle took, I am absolutely happy at the work. The pictures are amazing. If we had it to do all over...
, we'd hire her again. She caught this awesome moment during our first dance when we did this dip move --- we didn't even warn her about it, she was right there to snag it, great timing and quick on her feet! Clearly an experienced and talented photographer. All the photos look stunning and we got them on DVD.
Pleasant to work with, did an engagement photo shoot before the wedding to get comfortable. Very receptive to your ideas, but if you don't have any, she'll have ideas for you.
Only snag was that when she made the wedding album for us, she gave us double the pages that we expected for the bare-bones price. This means that we either had to cut pages, or pay more per-page. She said she did it so we could have more choices about what to keep. But we didn't really like having to pick and choose which family to cut from the album. In the end, we wittled it down to the desired number of pages, but many people would probably find it hard to cut and wind up paying the extra. A guy at my work had the same experience --- he hired Danielle for his wedding, and although he was absolutely stunned by the quality of her work, did not appreciate having to cut stuff.
I cannot even begin to find the words to describe Danielle! Here is my attempt at trying:

ugh the end of our wedding, she was always there to catch the right moment just at the right time! And just when you think she is doing so great, then you get to see the result and...WOW! She is so unbelievably talented and it shows! We cannot be more grateful to have had her photograph such an important day. We cannot wait to work with her again as we grow our family!

istened to what we wanted and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement photo session. I was so excited to see the photographs and she did not disappoint!
Both of us are a bit shy, but Danielle was so fantastic and helped calm our nerves on our wedding day. She and her assistant are so talented and fun to work with. I absolutely love all of our photos! She managed to capture the fun, excitement, emotion, and magic of our wedding day.
Although she was initially a bit out of our price range, we readjusted our budget and it was well worth it. My husband and I agreed that you really cannot put a price on beautifully captured moments and memories. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Thank you, Danielle!

anielle successfully capture all of the little details that I worked so hard to create, she managed to also photograph all of the things I missed on the actual day.
Danielle is truly an artist and her vision provided the most spectacular pictures...from the wedding party to the family to the venue and all of the decor.
I will cherish my engagement and wedding photos forever!
Thank you, Danielle!
It started with her approach. She was honest but blunt. She knew what would work and she wasn't afraid to tell us. But concurrently, she was able to take our ideas and incorporate ...
them into the overall look and feel of the shoot. After the engagement shoot we simply trusted her. On wedding day, I had no reservations because of how strong that trust was. Danielle is extremely talented. She has a unique eye, a confident reporte, a quick response and a fantastic end result. She captured the best day of my life better than I ever could. I would hire her again in a heart beat ----extremely highly recommended
I actually had Celeste Duran as my photographer at my wedding. Celeste works with Danielle, and my pictures were posted through Danielle's site. Celeste was so easy to work with, r...
eally calm, had great suggestions, helped with putting on the boutineers and telling people where they should go. Really helped keep the day going. She has an amaizing abilitiy to capture really great candid shots, and journalisitic portraits. I loved working with her.She had great vision for some really wonderful photos. The package I purchased included a high def CD with all images with the rights to print as I wanted, no watermarks, they are my property. Make sure you ask that when you look for your photographer.
Now that the wedding is over, Celeste and Danielle are still very helpful and even offered to help further touch up a few photos for me (we both woke up with a little break out the morning of ugh, and it shows to me in some of the close ups). I thought that was really sweet. I hope to be able to work with them again in the future for other events.
Danielle is an amazing photographer! I've worked with her on many weddings (I'm a floral designer), and every time we see the album up online afterward we're blown away! She captur...
es all the emotion and funny moments, yet makes the bride look great in every shot. Plus she is sure to get all the detail shots that we as professionals love! I just wish I knew about her for my own wedding. I was fortunate, however, to have her take some photos of my newborn daughter and they are simply exquisite.
Danielle did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. I was hesitant to do the engagement photos in the beginning, however I am soooo glad we decided to do it. I went from ...
the most uncomfortable person in front of the camera to a lot more loose within an hour or so. Danielle is not stuffy or demanding. She is so mellow and sweet you can't help but feel comfortable with her behind the camera. On my wedding day, we schlepped Danielle and her assistant to San Francisco for the ceremony to San Jose for the reception, and they were so accommodating. I am so pleased with the photos we have of our wedding day, and I have to say Danielle is worth it. You will only have one chance to capture your wedding moments, and you can rest assured that you will get quality service with Danielle.

hem from friends and relatives. Danielle is very fun to work with; her energy and vitality helped engaging us in the photo sessions. Not only was she able to make us look easy and natural, she also has a very artistic and unique perspective. So if you are looking for a photographer who is creative and imaginative, Danielle is the one!

e to capture every moment and most importantly, the mood and ambience in her photos. she traveled far to us in SF and was very accommodating by staying extra time when we were running behind schedule. my only regret was not having booked her for our rehearsal dinner - she was already taken that day! i would recommend her to any bride!

aphy but will also make the subject the highlight of the photo. She takes everything that works so well in a photograph and makes it look even better.
She takes the opportunity to get to know you as a couple and will highlight your strengths as a couple and your personalities through her photography.
She also has a wealth of resources and knowledge available to her and saved the day by recommending a videographer for our wedding when the first one did not show up. Thanks again Danielle!

ived so many compliments on the pictures, numerous people have told me that we have the best wedding pictures they have ever seen! She and her team were such a pleasure to work with. I HIGHLY recommend Danielle. Also, the photo booth was fabulous and guarantees some hilarious pictures.

or I enjoy posing for pictures but Danielle was able to make us laugh and put us at ease with just a few clicks of her camera and her light sense of humor. Our engagement photo shoot turned into a truly memorable three hours of fun and laughter, and the pictures are amazing! She is creative and artistic and right away she figured out how to capture my favorite of my husband’s smiles.
Pictures at a wedding can often be quite an ordeal but Danielle was calm and moved things along with ease. She had photographed at our venue before so knew all the best places to use as backdrops for the photos; and she played with the light from the day to give us some really beautiful shots. She was great with all the kids who were there, and she captured moments that we missed because we were occupied elsewhere. She had the photos ready for us quickly, has an easy way for us and our family and friends to view and order them, and has reasonable prices for the prints. She put together an album for us that really shows how much she is able to, not just take nice pictures but, really capture the spirit of the moment. Thank you Danielle!
My husband and I spent 8 months planning a destination wedding from the other side of the world. We chose Danielle based on recommendations and a few browses through her diverse p...

As the big day drew near and we arrived in Nothern California, we finally met up with Danielle two days before the wedding to take some 'Engagement Photos.' The experience was beyond perfect. She took us to the most perfect spot for various types of photographs while the sun was setting. She instantly made us feel at ease and be ourselves throughout the shoot. The pictures that came out of that session are incredible and simple and perfect.
The wedding day goes by at warp speed, thankfully she was in the right spot to take advantage of all the great moments. The pictures are beautiful and its been wonderful looking through them and reliving the night.

the beginning, I was hesitant because photography is so expensive. However, like many brides said, photos will be the only thing you have after the wedding. I am soooo glad we went with the best and did not skimp on the photography!! Plus as an added bonus, Danielle is super fast at sending the photos!! I hear girls waiting month before receiving even one photo. We were married on July 10 and Danielle already sent us some pictures on July 23!!! She said that she would be sending all of them to us next week! That is incredible turnaround time!! Danielle has an amazing talent, and I would recommend her to all brides.
