About this vendor
Weddings are seriously the best. A time for reflection, gratitude, and busting out those seriously epic dance moves you have been hiding away. A time to gather around with the people you love most and celebrate a new journey you are about to embark on. The only time in your life when you can seriously act and feel like Jay Z and Beyonce. That's pretty freakin cool if you ask me!
Danielle Raney Photography is all about building genuine relationships and understanding my couples story, capturing moments that can allow you to re-live your epic day over and over again. I love looking at a photo and truly FEELING all the emotions - that's what photography is all about.
A little bit about myself... I am a portrait, elopement , and wedding photographer who has owned my own business for nearly 10 years now!
My sweet little family and I live in West Seattle and are currently in the middle of renovating our 1914 dream home! I am always up for a good adventure, and an even better love story. I will seriously travel anywhere, so if you are thinking of a destination wedding or even an intimate elopement in the middle of nowhere.... then I am so down to make my way to you!
I am passionate about what I do and the people I get the privilege of photographing. I just feel so incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful and creative career!
PLEASE NOTE:
Photography is an INVESTEMENT... and I strive to make sure each and every client I work with is given the time and attention they deserve and above all else, a fun and comfortable environment where everyone feel's supported being their authentic and beautiful self! Now enough about me... I'd LOVE to learn a little bit more about you and exactly how I can help make your photography dreams come true!
xoxo Danielle

I honestly can't say enough good things about Danielle! She did a fantastic job with both our engagement and wedding photos.
Danielle did such an amazing job photographing our mountain side elopement a couple hours outside of Seattle. We sort of winged it throughout the day and she was super flexible and...
made great suggestions when we didn't have a set vision. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera which isn't the norm for us. Her skill and creativity left us with such beautiful memories of our day and we're forever grateful. ♥️
I would recommend Danielle to any of my friends and family. She has such warm and friendly personality that you feel so comfortable during your session. On top of that, she has a g...

Danielle did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding and I can't say enough great things about her! We ended up having to change our wedding venue a week out because of wildfire...
s, and she was so relaxed about rolling with it and reassured me everything would work out perfectly. She's amazing at taking charge (in a nice way) and efficiently getting all of the shots you want, all while making sure everyone feels comfortable and has fun. She sent us sneak peeks and delivered our album with a very quick turnaround and we were blown away by how beautiful they all turned out. She captured our day perfectly and gave us memories we'll cherish forever <3
Danielle quite literally saved our wedding day! My fiancé and I took a risky chance with a photographer off of Thumbtack who did not create a contract for our day and ended up canc...
elling on us 1 week out. Thankfully Danielle was available on short notice for our Friday afternoon city hall elopement.
She was fast to respond, professional and respectful throughout the whole process. Danielle has such a kind and bright personality that it felt so easy to work with her. The entire family got along well with her and praised her.
What I especially appreciated was her creativity. She was constantly suggestive of ideas and poses for shots that nothing ever felt awkward. Pictures turned out amazing and I can't stop staring at the sneak peaks she emailed us the next day.
I would 100% recommend Danielle and would work with her again in the future.
My fiancé and I weren’t even going to do engagement photos, but I am so glad we did!! Danielle made the experience amazing. From the moment we met her, we felt so comfortable, li...
ke we had been friends forever. We walked all around Pike Place Market/the waterfront and Danielle had such great ideas for locations and backdrop. She guided us through different angles and poses and just made it so easy. My fiancé and I didn’t think we could take such good photos, and it’s all because of Danielle. We will cherish this forever, thank you Danielle!! Can’t wait for the next excuse to use you.

Danielle is such an incredibly genuine and kind person which makes her an amazing photographer. She recently did family photos for us which is no easy task because I have a 1 and 2...
year old boy. She makes it extremely comfortable in front of the camera, and allows you to be candid and natural while still giving ideas. The photos I received brought tears to my eyes and captured our family perfectly! I refer her to everyone I know, because I am confident they will not only get gorgeous photos and a fun experience but a lifetime photographer ❤️
Where shall I begin?! I really cannot say enough good things about Danielle. Not only is she a genuinely kind, fun loving person-but she truly puts her heart into every photoshoot ...
she does. What I think stood out most from other photographers is that she really invests her time into getting to know exactly what ‘look’ her customers are striving for. She makes poses look natural and has a keen eye for lighting and making the most of the surroundings. I get uncomfortable easily in front of cameras but Danielle had us laughing the entire time that it made me want to do another shoot just for fun! You can tell she really loves what she does which as a customer makes you feel well taken care of. Thank you Danielle for the beautiful photos!!!
I would highly recommend Danielle! Her photos are outstanding. She made us feel comfortable in what can otherwise be an awkward situation. She let us be ourselves but also gave us ...
great ideas when needed. She is prompt with communication and overall is a joy to work with. I can't stop looking at our photos. We've been together almost 9 years and these photos taken by Danielle helped remind me why :)
I would recommend Danielle for your engagement and or wedding photos any day!
She arrived to our designated spot early and came prepared. She made us feel comfortable and guided ...
us on how to pose. We had a great time! 10 out of 10!
Danielle was awesome to work with! She came prepared with props, poses to try, and gave us the freedom to try other things on the spot. She made us feel so comfortable and we were ...
laughing and having a good time the whole photoshoot. She was super quick with turnaround time and got our photos to us the next day! I would highly recommend her!
