Danielle did an engagement session for me and my fiancé. This was the first photoshoot of any kind I have done, let alone a couples photoshoot, and I was very nervous going into it (Would I feel comfortable? Would I look awkward? Will my fiancé be over it in 10 minutes?!) Danielle immediately calmed my nerves and had THE best energy! She drove all the way to the mountains for our session so we could capture the fall colors. When there was a risk of fog (and risk of obscuring the views) on the day of, she immediately jumped into action and came up with a backup plan that was just as beautiful. During the photoshoot, she knew exactly how to direct us while allowing us to do our own thing to make it feel and look natural. We got almost ~ 400 photos back in TWO DAYS. And there were so many great photos, it made it hard to choose just one for our save the date. My fiancé has commented numerous times since the photoshoot how much fun he had and how memorable the session itself was. I would HIGHLY recommend Danielle, and I am already trying to think of an excuse for another photoshoot!!

I want to start off by warning you that this is lengthy, and that is because Danielle has played such an important role in my life. Danielle is INCREDIBLE. I contacted her about a year and a half ago about doing our engagement pictures. I explained to her that we were thinking about eloping in Ruby Beach, WA and while I was researching weddings there, I stumbled across her wedding video. I had followed her on instagram for about a year or so before this, and had NO idea. From our first FaceTime convo, she was so bubbly, fun, relatable, and helpful! She offered to come to WA with us for our day, and that was the first thing that got our ball rolling! Our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing without her. She was able to help me find my vendors, all thanks to her networking! She was able to provide me with so much guidance in vendors and offer me lists. She suggested my wedding planner, who ended up creating the perfect day. She suggested our videographer, who came from Minnesota to be with us! Every time I had a question or was freaking out, I knew Danielle was there for me. She helped me make the biggest decision about our day. I was very anxious about deciding whether we would have a traditional, "just the two of us" elopement, or invite some of our closest friends and immediate family, Danielle talked to me about the pros and cons of both ways. I remember her saying something along the lines of "if you're a people person, just think about if you will be upset that there will be no one there to get ready with or celebrate with afterwards". That stuck with me. I knew from there that it would be important for us to have a few people. There's A LOT of logistics and unknowns with elopements, and Danielle was able to help with all of it. Now for her pictures.. We LOVED our engagement and our wedding photos. They transport us back to those days and make love and happiness coarse through my body. We have received so many compliments. She is able to tell stories with the images she captures. The quality of the photos is unreal. She is so fun and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She also puts up with fiances/husbands who get sick of taking pictures(haha!). My elopement would not have been possible without Danielle. She will forever be a friend and hold a special place in my heart. If you are considering an elopement, please consider taking Danielle's course. And if you're looking for a photographer, I would suggest you don't look any further! We love you, Danielle!

Danielle is an absolute GEM. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious and we (and our wedding party and family) had so, so much fun shooting with her, and it totally comes through in each and every picture. Having a natural smile is not a concern with this lady! Not only was her positivity and energy as high as it could be all day, she worked so efficiently to get our portraits and pictures done perfectly and quickly so we could enjoy the rest of our night. I am so, so thankful to the friends that recommended her and so, so thankful to her for capturing the most breathtaking memories for us. If we could get married every year for the rest of our lives, we'd hire Danielle to capture it every. single. time.

First off, Danielle is the best. She gave us really great advice on how to manage our day. She traveled from North Carolina to California to photograph our wedding. She took our photo list and made sure it was completed and then some! She managed the flow of pictures so well that the two of us had time to take a breath before our reception. She is spunky and knows her craft. She kept us moving and got us out in good time without feeling rushed. She's super honest but strives to make your vision come alive. For someone who specializes in elopements, she handled our large wedding amazingly. Everyone that has commented about our wedding loved her and we do too!
