I feel tremendously lucky to have been Danielle’s muse for our wedding day and cannot begin to express the immense gratitude and appreciation I have for her talent and dedication to her art. Danielle was one of the first vendors we booked after we set a date for our wedding. After watching her work on Instagram for years, she was the only photographer I could consider to capture our wedding. From the very beginning with our engagement session, she helped my partner and I feel at ease with having our picture taken. Danielle is truly so good at what she does that I was never worried about the outcome of our photos. On wedding day she was calm and warm, bringing the best out of us, our bridal party and our families. From the images we've seen of our wedding, I'm thrilled! She captured exactly the moments we wanted preserved, and her eye for light and movement is flawless. I’m not quite sure to begin, as Danielle feels like more than someone we “worked with” during the process of creating our wedding – but a friend. We met with Danielle well before our wedding was postponed due to COVID, and worked collaboratively with her in the months that followed to execute our vision and also gave her the creative freedom to weigh in on what we wanted. Danielle is an absolute artist, and is so kind and easy-going that it will make your big day seem like a breeze. We can truly say that our wedding day went off without a hitch because of Danielle’s creative direction, knowledge, and support. Her assistant, Samer, was also phenomenal and both of them brought such a fun, artistic energy to the shoots we had planned before our ceremony. We felt completely taken care of as her clients, and please, look no further for your wedding photographer. Danielle is simply the best, that’s it. End of story.

To say Danielle is AMAZING would be an understatement. I saw firsthand how beautiful Danielle's work is when my sister hired Danielle for her wedding in October 2019. When I got engaged in Feb 2020 Danielle was the first vendor I booked for my October 2021 wedding because I knew I wouldn't be happy with any other photographer. My wedding day (10/24/21) was wet and rainy the entire day, however I was totally unfazed because I trust Danielle's vision entirely and knew she would capture the most amazing shots despite the weather. I also have to mention Danielle came prepared with an organized and detailed backup plan to shoot indoors at the beautiful CAA hotel, and she kept our entire day on time and running smoothly. Aside from the fact that she has the logistics nailed down to a tee and she is so easy to work with, her actual style of photography is unmatched. She made me and my husband feel like models in the least cheesy way possible and her editorial/unique vision just really sets her apart. Danielle is a literal goddess!! Aside from photographing our engagement and wedding she basically planned my day-of timeline and dedicated so much time the day of ironing out details and directing others on my behalf without so much as a second thought! Danielle is one of my top 3 things from my wedding experience. We booked with her right at the cusp of lockdown in 2020 and even with all the craziness, she managed to do a boudoir shoot and engagement shoot in New York. I could not recommend Danielle more! I knew that I wanted my wedding photos to feel more like a fashion editorial than traditional wedding photos and Danielle absolutely did not disappoint! When I go through Instagram and Danielle's photos pop up in my feed it makes me want to get married ALL OVER AGAIN because she's PERFECT at capturing the emotion felt on your wedding day. I’m always in AWE of her photographs and we’re SO lucky we had her on our wedding day. 🤍 We booked Danielle for our Wedding in May of 2021 and it was (to us) the perfect, moody, slightly rainy, overcast day. She rolled with the mood of that day and PERFECTLY captured the intimate feeling and style of our wedding. All our photos have such a cool, moody tone to them that we absolutely LOVE. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who has a more organic style compared to the over-produced, cheesy, traditional wedding photograph style, Danielle is for you. Throughout the whole day, Danielle was a DREAM to work with and towards the end of our wedding day, she just started to feel like one of our guests (not a vendor). We even asked to extend her shooting time so she could party with us longer! (would recommend, because you’re going to want late night party shots - I almost wish I had more!) To sum things up. Without a doubt, the BEST decision you can make when planning your wedding is choosing to have Danielle behind the camera. We were absolutely blown away with every single shot she took- her vision is simply unmatched! The compliments we have gotten on our photos are endless and our families still can’t believe someone with her talent actually exists! From booking her, to the final touches on our big day, she was with us every step of the way, making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Planning a wedding in the best of circumstances can be stressful, but during a pandemic and after multiple reschedules, we learned a lot about our vendors before we even had the wedding--and Danielle was best in class. From the first call/text, her communication was stellar. We had several specific requests initially, and a myriad of updates as we went through multiple reschedules, and she was so flexible and understanding. She worked tirelessly to make sure we felt comfortable and that we were getting exactly what we wanted. In terms of the quality of the finished product, we couldn't be more pleased. The photos are absolutely breathtaking and are shamelessly displayed all around our home, our parent's homes, and probably several guest's homes as well. Stylistically we wanted a "high fashion" look, and that is exactly what we got. While we did take some traditional wedding photos, and they turned out beautiful, our favorites are the candids. Danielle's eye for movement and capturing the love and emotion in the moments in between is unparalleled. Finally, and this is so much more important than you know on your wedding day, she was such a strong but calm force. She kept us on time, made sure we didn't feel stressed, and never made us feel like there was a camera intruding on personal moments. She guided our less experienced videographer seamlesssly, and worked in perfect stride with our wedding planner. By the end of the night all of our wedding guests knew her by name, and she graciously emailed back and forth with my mother in law to get a canvas made to her exact specifications and in under a week! Danielle was truly spectacular, and we just feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her. If she is available for your wedding day, you'd be trading down by going with anyone else.

Danielle was absolutely amazing! She photographed my best friend's wedding, and she did such a great job I knew I wanted her to be part of my wedding as well. She is so calm and makes the whole day feel very chill when it can otherwise feel very hectic. Her style is very romantic and natural, so I always felt like she was staying very true to our personalities. She doesn't try to force anything. My husband and I are not a couple that takes a lot of pictures, so I honestly could not believe how stunning the pictures turned out. It truly looked like it could have been taken from a magazine. If you want someone who will make you feel super comfortable, and is easy to work with, and has a calming personality, I could not speak more highly of Danielle. I would give her my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a photographer!

If I could give Danielle 12 stars on here, I would - she's that good! I have spent years trying for the ever-elusive perfect photo of me and my husband (we're not particularly photogenic, I blame him), but Danielle used her camera magic and somehow made us look like movie stars (or maybe digital influencers is the more current reference here). Anyway, she brought a kind, laidback energy to our day and very clearly demonstrated why she's a top vendor on the Knot. 12/10 would work with Danielle again.

When I think of Danielle the words Wizard and Queen come to mind. Danielle will forever be part of our lives as one of the most talented artists who created an enchanting landscape for our wedding. We became instantly connected when we had to continue to communicate changes throughout a global pandemic. She made me feel like everything would be alright - and it all worked out! We are not a staged couple, Danielle made us at ease giving us direction and creating the most beautiful shots that looked natural. We cannot rave enough about Danielle. Danielle was absolutely amazing and we feel incredibly fortunate that we were able to have her take our wedding & engagement photos. Right away, she made us feel comfortable & like we were hanging with a good friend that just happened to also be taking (amaaaazing) photos of us. During our engagement shoot, she helped us plan the timeline for our wedding day - this was help we very much needed and we were able to better visualize what our day would look like. Leading up to the wedding, we ended up making some changes to the timeline and she was SO flexible & just so easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, both Danielle and her assistant were all hands on deck-while I was getting my makeup done, I noticed that Danielle's assistant was doing some quick ironing of a groomsman's jacket! I mean come on, how amazing is that. When I say we needed all the help we could get, that's the kind of stuff I'm talking about, and they were 100% there for us. Planning a wedding during COVID is no fun & we were definitely stressed at times, but we never once had to stress about our photos and honestly, just the general presence of Danielle & co. had a major calming effect on the overall vibe of our day. Danielle is professional, chill, and extremely talented. 100% book her!

We met Danielle through a close friend who works in the industry, but we instantly felt she would help us to have a wonderful day and feel completely comfortable. We were not used to taking pictures so we knew we would need help on our big day, both for ourselves and to wrangle our families. Danielle and Samer did an amazing job on our covid wedding day and helped the day flow without us having to worry about timing all day. We planned our wedding on a time crunch and Danielle was extremely flexible and even helped me with timeline planning, it made the whole process much smoother and easier. We contacted Danielle Simone & Co about a couple's photo session after our mini ceremony in Milwaukee, WI. She responded swiftly and had great recommendations and ideas for where to shoot, we were so excited to make this happen! We had not been professionally photographed together until this point, and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout. She included us and our personalities into the session, explaining her thought process and letting us add or expand upon it which made it very natural. We received the final photos and there is a great mix of posed photos and really fun candids as well as cool crops and compositions. Danielle is simply the best! There's not a whole lot else that needs to be said, but I'm going to anyway. We hired Danielle for our wedding and engagement pictures were included in the package. Danielle went along with our elaborate plan to stage a scene in the forest and even found the perfect location for us and was super excited about it. When we decided to move forward with a small ceremony this year, she made it a priority to fit us into her schedule. Danielle was the first vendor we booked for our 2020 wedding and for the last year she helped plan and re-plan from a large, more traditional wedding to a small intimate celebration. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Danielle. From the start, she really took the time to explore our relationship and what kind of wedding we wanted. She also took the time to recommend various vendors in the area that she has worked with and approves of. After deciding to pursue the videographer she recommended, she even put me in direct contact with him and facilitated booking him for our date (shoutout to Jason Puls.) As we prepared for our engagement shoot, my now husband and I were so nervous that we would be so lost, but Danielle told us exactly how to “pose” without making us looked posed. If you need someone to tell you when your hair is out of place or to respect your “good side,” she’s your girl. She took us to three awesome spots in Milwaukee for our engagement shoot and encouraged my three outfit changes without ever making us feel rushed. The wedding day was even more fabulous. Obviously our original wedding was going to be a longer day and she offered to make up the hours we didn’t use on our contract and have a little family shoot next year. We also had booked a second photographer and given the intimate nature of our wedding and limited space, she offered to create a custom album for us instead (talk about customer service.) Danielle communicated with me each week as it got closer to our wedding day regarding timeline, first look location and anything else that came up. She even got into town early to scope out the first look location and ended up choosing somewhere down the road a bit because of lighting. She knew how important the first look was to me (as it would be to any bride) and did everything to make it PERFECT. The rest of the day was pure bliss. She went with the flow and captured our boat wedding on Lake Geneva beautifully. She will do anything for the ideal shot, including hanging off the side of the boat while still in motion. Oh also, she is the ULTIMATE hype girl. If someone constantly telling you how beautiful you look and how awesome the shots look is your thing (duh) then book her NOW. For about a week after our wedding, Danielle would come up in casual conversation because of how impressed and thankful we were to have her there with us and of course, everyone that sees our pictures are in awe of how lovely they are. Thank you Danielle!

Danielle did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos! She is so easy going and made my husband and I feel so at ease. All of our photos looks so natural and she does a fantastic job of capturing those intimate moments. The way she uses natural light in her photos shows how truly talented she is as a photographer. We had to postpone our big wedding this year and found out Danielle was booked for our new date. She ended up re-working her schedule so she could photograph us next year! She is really loyal to her clients and I am so grateful we get to have her next year! We were lucky to have her photograph our small ceremony and dinner with our parents in August! I really hope all the people struggling to plan weddings in 2020 get blessed with a photographer as amazing as Danielle! From the moment we had our first phone call with her we KNEW she’d be the perfect fit for us! She’s super fun, chill, easy to get along with and on top of that she is SO DAMN TALENTED. So far we’ve had 2 photo sessions with Danielle and both have been AMAZING! She’s made both of our shoots so fun & easy. OMG. How to even describe Danielle in words?? Where to begin. Danielle did our engagement and wedding photos and was honestly the easiest and most fun person to work with. Not that we did any of the work - she does it all. My now-husband HATES having his picture taken. Like will do anything to avoid it. The way that Danielle photographs, you would never know that he hates it. Everything is so natural and so beautiful. No need to pose, she'll tell you exactly what to do and the pictures come out looking flawless. Or if you want to pose and take a specific picture, she'll do that too. It's hard to believe it's even us! Danielle will make you feel so comfortable every step of the way. From no-pressure engagement photos, multiple emails and phone calls dealing with covid crap, to the actual day, she was a breeze. So flexible, so down to do whatever, so fun. She was able to deal with my mother-in-law (lol we won't go there) and she truly helped everything flow together perfectly. She let our crazy puppy be involved (cannot wait for those pics). She was out there in the RAIN, the wind, the 50 degree weather and she was so pleasant and so kind. Danielle worked with any issues that came up. We adjusted the schedule to avoid rain and she went with it. Despite it not being the big wedding I always wanted, she captured our small, intimate setting perfectly. We still got the amazing photos we wanted and more. She was able to take pictures of everything and everyone, and they are so special and so incredible. I am so happy we went with Danielle. Mind you, I had her flagged for years as the photographer I wanted. Her style and her edits are exactly why. These are the photos I want to look back at 40 years from now. Danielle is a treasure, and not just in her talent for stunning photography. She's communicative, kind, detail-focused, incredibly helpful, and genuine. Danielle helped us think through our wedding day timeline back when we thought we were having the big shebang in 2020. It’s hard to imagine our wedding without Danielle. Prior to being engaged I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that used Danielle as their photographer. The dedication, focus, and passion she has for photography showed throughout the day and through her work. When I got engaged 3 months later I knew exactly who I was going to hire ( I didn't even look at other photographers). Danielle executed my vision for my big day PERFECTLY! She was excellent in rallying all the bridal party (8 bridesmaids/8 groomsmen), all the family members at the church, in taking beautiful photos. In planning your wedding there are always several things you prioritize - make Danielle one of them, her schedule fills up quickly because she is THAT good!

She recently did a 1 year Anniversary Shoot with my husband and I. *queue the tears* Just like the wedding pictures I am blown way. If style, detail, and hidden moments are important to you on your wedding day she is the one. Her creative eye can capture so much more than anyone I have ever seen. Most of my favorite pictures are action shoots and things I did not even request! Plus, all our guests/ wedding party/ other vendors loved her. Stunning work from a stunning person inside and out.

Picking Danielle to do our wedding photography was easily the best vendor decision we made for our big day. She was super easy to work with – prompt about correspondence, organized about planning and logistics, and dedicated to delivering within timelines (very transparent in both the contract and on her website). My husband and I are both super camera shy, and Danielle helped us both quickly feel comfortable and relaxed. When we were running behind on getting ready the morning of our wedding, Danielle was able to adapt her timeline to make sure we got all the shots we wanted on short order, while also taking control of the situation and getting everyone else on board and moving. All this said doesn’t even touch on her photos, which are – by the way – LITERAL works of art. I’m not kidding. I’ve never seen anything like it. In a world swimming with so much of the same, old wedding photography, she is a gem. Oh, also, she tide-penned my train back to perfection (seriously, was stark white) after a bridesmaid with muddy shoes stamped a footprint on it during photos prior to the ceremony. TLDR: Book Danielle!

Danielle was the first vendor I signed with 1 year and 6 months before our wedding. It was the best decision I ever made. I felt an instant connection with her when we met, as did my husband. She referred us to our videographer and my makeup artist. It was a STACKED crew of amazing artists at our wedding. Danielle listens to what you want and brings incredible talent and ideas to the table. I told her I didn't like my nose from one angle and I kid you not out of the 1,000 photos btwn our engagement shoot and our wedding day there were maybe 5 photos of my nose I didn't like. HOW DID SHE DO THAT?! Danielle is incredibly reliable and truly knows what she's doing. She's amazing at giving direction on a hectic wedding day. Danielle has become a wonderful friend to both my husband and me. We loved her work so much we had her photograph product for our new coffee shop that opened after our wedding. Danielle is truly a gem and makes the wedding planning process so much easier. You'd be making a huge mistake to not hire her.

It's almost impossible to try to describe the amount of talent that Danielle possesses. Her vision is something that one can only understand by seeing the love and happiness she is able to capture in a single moment; and she captures them all. Not only is she insanely talented, but she is one of the best human beings that exists. She is kind and hilarious, and has a way of making you feel relaxed on a day where it can be especially hard to do so. Danielle embodies light and laughter which makes getting photographed by her the most fun you'll probably ever have. On top of all of that, she is incredibly professional. On the day of our wedding she was able to keep us on a tight schedule and help direct everyone to where they needed to be and when. This took so much pressure off of us and allowed us to really enjoy every moment. I can't speak more highly of Danielle. She was THE best contribution to our wedding and I feel as though we have made a life-long friend.

Danielle is the absolute best at what she does! Her pictures are works of art and she finds beauty in the moment, capturing all the best big and small parts of your wedding! She is so professional and works very efficiently. She knows exactly what she is doing and how to photograph even the most difficult of subjects. She navigated rounding the wedding party up for pictures with so much speed and ease so we could get the pictures we wanted AND still be able to mingle and enjoy the time in between. She takes charge and just does what needs to be done, even if it’s helping put on my necklace or fixing my veil. I can’t wait to use Danielle again for basically any picture needs. Truly, she is an artist who captures so much beauty that visually tells your love story!

Danielle is not only extremely talented but she is so much fun to work with. You feel like you're hanging out with a friend which is probably why she captures some of the best, most natural shots. She has such a great vibe and really puts you at ease. So many of our guests raved about her as well. I cannot recommend her enough- she is so thorough and professional and our photos are absolutely gorgeous. She's the bee's knees! So grateful to have worked with her.

Danielle made our entire process from start to finish insanely easy. Her artistic style made our photos incredible. When looking for our wedding photographer, Marty and I wanted someone who would catch the in-between moments, the moments when no one was looking. We wanted to be photographed as we are, our goofy laughter filled selves. And Danielle exceeded our expectations. Every photo we have reminds us of the love and excitement we have for each other. Danielle is a kickass artist with a brilliant talent for wedding photography. She is the ideal mashup of creative artist and skilled wedding photographer. Danielle captured my vision, had the best energy, and we felt beyond comfortable with her all day long. Danielle is able to beautifully capture intimate, emotional, festive, and important moments without feeling intrusive. Danielle is also a boss at redirectly guests who are photographically challenged and/or trying to steal the limelight in the most professional way. We wanted our photos to reflect the energy, emotions, candid moments, and true essence of our wedding day without the "pinterest" poses. Danielle nailed it on the head! Be warned you may develop a girlcrush and pursue post wedding friendship with Danielle because she's a true gem of a human being.

Your loss if you do not hire Danielle. She is one of a kind and truly the BEST! Words cannot describe how amazing she is - not just her work but also her as a person. From the day I chatted with her on the phone, we just clicked and I immediately knew my husband and I were making the right decision. Every time I look back at our wedding photos I feel like I am reliving the day all over again. You can really feel the love and joy in each photo and really captured every moment. Her attention to detail is unlike any photographer I have seen before. She's so fun to work with and knows how to get shit done, even if that means joining in on the party to get all the shots!!! We had a GIANT bridal party (30 total!) and huge guest list (over 400) and because of her the day went so smooth and every picture we wanted was captured. We had a absolute blast working with her! Hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was working with Danielle. I found her through the craziness of the internet and was immediately attracted to her photos. We didn't officially meet in person until my wedding day but I honestly have never felt so comfortable with someone so quickly. She truly has something unique I don't think many people have - of course, her amazing abilities as a photographer, but also her ability to connect with you and your significant other, bridal party, etc and just make everything fun and comfortable. It can be a pretty high-stress day but Danielle doesn't add to that - she simply makes it easy for you. She's also such an expert that she was able to make recommendations and help with things that I never would have thought of. And let's talk about the photos...I mean, nothing better. I got so many compliments on our photos (like "is this right out of a magazine?!) and I had no other response but "it was our photographer". She is a true artist and such a gem of a human. I can promise you won't be let down. I only wish I had more reasons to work with her again in the future.

Besides my now-husband, Danielle was the best person I found through the entire wedding process. I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for in a wedding photographer, but I knew I didn't want the pictures to look like everyone else's and when I saw Danielle's work I knew she would be the perfect person. From the first time we spoke on the phone we just clicked and I felt instantly comfortable with her. I was on the fence about doing an engagement photo shoot, but I couldn't recommend it more because it really gives you a chance to work with your photographer in a more low-stakes way prior to the wedding and get comfortable in front of the camera. When it came to the wedding day I had no doubt that Danielle would get every shot we wanted. Honestly, when you hire Danielle you get more than a photographer. With all of her experience she knows so much about the ins and outs of weddings - she was actually the one to recommend both our florist and my hairstylist! Danielle truly felt like a friend throughout this entire process and I only wish I had a million more reasons to hire her and work with her again. Danielle is a real artist and is able to capture the big and small moments shared at your wedding. Some of my favorite pictures are of random movements or glances, but Danielle is able to capture these and turn them into treasured memories. I could not recommend Danielle more and am jealous of all the future brides who get to work with her for the first time!

Up front, I cannot stress enough how flat out bad ass and amazing Danielle is. Her ability to quietly direct things like family pics and group shots was incredible. Just enough direction to keep things moving, not enough to kill the mood. If you’ve looked at even one of her photos, you know she’s the real deal with an education and craft that matches her passion. In the big moments she melts into the background, to the point that I reacted to some of her shots with ‘I didn’t even know she was there and that close when that happened.’ I didn’t feel like we had a photographer at our wedding, it felt like an old friend who genuinely got us and what we were going for and I think it absolutely shows through in her work. I cannot recommend her enough and would definitely hang out with her outside of work too. Just amazing. Cried when we got the sneak peeks, cried again when we got the ceremony photos, and cried again when we got the first look photos. Everything felt so natural with Danielle, we hope to work with her again in the future. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful she was and how much they loved the photos. Danielle is a true artist in every sense of the words and I feel lucky that I get to have these incredible photos and memories to hold on to.

Danielle is simply amazing. We first contacted Danielle because we had so much fun with her when we were guests at a cousin's wedding that she shot, and also loved her attention to detail and inclusion of everyone. As our photographer, we found that she was always quick to respond and spent many hours gathering details from us to make sure she captured our day exactly as we had hoped. It was also really helpful that she shared some galleries of previous weddings that she has shot, so that we could get a feel for what style and type of shots we wanted for our own wedding. Additionally, on the day of the wedding, she was not only super fun to work with, but also so efficient and organized with our time. She made sure that our entire list of requested shots were met (including getting a 60+ person shot of an extended family in less than 5 minutes!). She also was a great communicator the day of - running small details by us to maximize the time she could spend photographing at each location. It was also such a welcomed surprise to get our sneak peak shots the next day as we departed for our honeymoon. We received our full gallery of photos much sooner than expected - and now we have so many favorites it is hard to fit them all into one album. She has shot famous celebrities, but still made normal couples like us feel special for a day. If you are lucky enough to fit into her tight schedule, she can take your day to the next level!

Working with Danielle has been such an amazing experience. She moves and thinks so quickly and smoothly and really makes your time count! When shooting bridal editorial, I have found some wedding photographers overthink and over-pose the models. I have worked with Danielle multiple times with different models and she can direct them so easily every time, even if she has never shot them before. The shoots always feel natural, cool, and energetic. I am so lucky to have met someone who understands my work and who’s creative energy elevtates the artists around her. I would strongly recommend hiring Danielle for your editorials (or your wedding!) if you are looking for photos with vision, depth, movement, and heart.
