Had a great time with Danila at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens for our elopement photo shoot, he was professional, courteous and went the extra mile for all the shots. He even got into a tree to take some gorgeous overhead shots with the cherry blossoms floating down on us! Fantastic experience end-to-end, loved the pictures and have been sharing them with all my family!

My wife and I hired Danila and Lana for our wedding elopement then again for our one year anniversary when we celebrated with family and we couldn't be happier with the way the photos turned out for both dates. We found Danila and Lana after thorough research. We truly fell in love with their style of wedding photography - both timeless and unique, they manage to keep the couple’s personality and translate atmosphere into the photos. To connect with Danila was very easy, the communication was always clear and punctual. We spent some time with him over the phone explaining our vision and importance of staying authentic and genuine. Danila, Lana, and Lubov also provided help planning when a good time of day the ceremony should be since we wanted it to be close to sun set. With Central Park in New York City they gave us guidance on when the sun sets, to think about the building height, and to start earlier than we would think instinctually. They were right, we started the day and then the ceremony early and had time for more photos before going to our reception location. They were with us every step of the way. We are grateful that we not only had amazing photographers, but they also made a video of our special moments. and Lubov was our wedding officiant. They were fun to work with, easy going, stylish, and knew how to coordinate a group of people as to avoid any chaos that would have occurred if people strayed on timelines. Lubov was an awesome officiant. It was fun and engaging for our whole group. On the day of they were on-time, met with us in our place, got to know us better within a very short time. They walked with us in our neighborhood street for a First Look. They split up so that both the Bride and Groom had company leading up the ceremony. We had gentle direction, and the special moments all unfolded gracefully with their help. The final pictures and videos we received from them in a quick turn around time and they all nicely depict the beautiful atmosphere we’ve had during our wedding day. We are absolutely satisfied customers and highly recommend working with them.

We found Danila and Lana after a lot of research. Right from the minute we connected with them, the professionalism was visible. They were communicative, extremely detail oriented and prompt with responses. But all this pales in comparison to the work. They were at the wedding and blended in like friends and the videos they created were WOOWWWW!! We were of course expecting great work but they blew us away. We did have some changes but what makes it better is that they didn’t just make those changes but somehow improved it and made it even better. I am OBSESSED with our photos (both wedding & portrait shoot). I found Danila online through another couple that had been married at our venue (The Foundry LIC). I loved the editorial and romantic style. I was a little hesitant because I love a good first-hand recommendation but couldn’t compare his photos to any other wedding photographer. During our initial conversation it was easy and flowed. He knew our venue (which could have tricky lighting) and got our vision. During our portrait shoot he was able to get to know my husband and I and we were able to get to know him. He made us both super comfortable in front of the camera. When we received our portrait session photos we were blown away..making us so excited for the capturing of the big day! Danila and his assistant, Liobov, (who was LOVELY) were right on time, easy-going, and got pictures of everything without being pushy or overwhelming. We worked with Lana and she was fantastic! Having never had professional photos done before (other than our engagement shot with Lana and Danila) she was very helpful in giving us tips, ideas, and poses without us feeling awkward. I can't say enough about how happy we are with our experience of working with Danila and Lana for our wedding photography. Danila helped us coordinate everything leading up to our wedding, and Lana spent the day shooting our microwedding. Danila was incredibly communicative and responsive, and Lana was amazing in every respect on our special day. We had a microwedding with just immediate family and friends, which included a small ceremony in a public park and drinks and food outdoors. After that, we spent time taking family photos and photos of myself and my partner. I had never worked with a professional photographer, and I was a little worried about how comfortable we would feel in front of the camera and what kind of photos we would produce. Needless to say, the process was seamless and the final photos were stunning and exceeded all of our expectations. Throughout it all, she was kind and professional, and provided guidance to ensure that we would have photos that captured the moments of the day and showcased everyone in the best possible way. We could tell she was constantly looking for creative settings and ways to take our photos and wanting to make sure we would be happy with them. I can't thank them enough for such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend them!

We both really liked Danila's portfolio and he was very easy to work with! I liked his angles, they were very creative and captured the moments we wanted to highlight the most. Most importantly our friends and our family felt very comfortable with him around making it easy to capture and they all came out great! We had a unique day - elopement during COVID with a 6 hr photoshoot all around the city at our favorite spots and we felt as though we were just hanging out with two friends all day having fun, which made the day that much more special. We met Danila for a photoshoot near Brooklyn Bridge Dumbo and the entire experience was fantastic. It was quite cold but he made us feel comfortable, relaxed and suggested ideas for the photos. The photos came out beyond amazing! Would highly recommend Danila's service.

He didn't force us, you know, to do something that isn't US. He was able to capture the moment of real-life. We were relaxed and felt comfortable. Truly amazing! Danila and Lana gave lots of direction on the day-of, which is really important! I highly recommend doing video with them, as our "couples story clip" was one of our favorite items . (We were worried it'd come out like a terrible music video, but not at all! The editing was really sharp.) Great style and editing and communication as well. Worth the money.

We are so grateful and lucky to have chosen Danila and Lana as our photographers for our wedding. They were punctual, professional and we couldn’t have asked for more. After, we took pictures in the bar in West Elm with close friends and family. We then went to the carousal and went to Soho to take more pictures. Our photos were delivered couple weeks later via google drive. As soon as when we received them, we could not not stop smiling. Our pictures are what reminds us about our special day. I received my photos today from Danilo while at work - I quite literally teared up at my desk from happiness! The photos he captured of my fiancé and I were spectacular. With my incredibly high standards I was worried we wouldn’t have enough that I liked to fill our wedding website. We had the exact opposite issue, there were literally too many to chose from! Truly cannot emphasize enough how stunning these pictures were. She told us how to pose which I needed because I don't know how to pose for photos. She would say "perfect" so we knew she had got the shot she needed and that we were doing a good job. As soon as we came across some photos that Danila took at another wedding in Jersey City, we knew this was a match for us. His incredible creative style is unique, his photos and stories are more lively and vivid than other wedding photographers, and we loved it! For us, capturing our relationship with each other as well as our friends was exactly what we were looking for, and Danila became a great fit with our group of friends and family, felt like we've known him forever. On your wedding day, you need to be flexible and find creative solutions to withstand temperamental weather conditions. Picking a venue with the typically gorgeous view of NYC for photos sounds like it you would have an easy background, but then it snows so much on a March day that it completely covers the view. I didn't even have time to panic, Danila was quick to propose a new background which ended up being even more perfect. Danila's photo assistant Katia was also amazing, she was able to help ensure that all the other important family, guests, bridal parties were taken. Danila and Katia also took amazing photos of the small Russian Orthodox Church where we had our ceremony, not easy to follow or capture as there are many moving pieces throughout, and it is at least an hour long. Finally, Danila shared all the photos with us very quickly, including creating a special story, which we have been sharing with our family and friends. Thank you! :)
