About this vendor
I’m Danny AKA the guy always behind the lens (and occasionally on the dance floor).
I’m a multicultural wedding, event, family, and portrait photographer based in Pittsburgh, PA and serving the surrounding area. I was raised in a small town Silver Spring, MD and I made a break for “the big city” for my studies. At University of Pittsburgh, I majored in something completely unrelated to photography: Microbiology. On the side, I started working at wedding photography studio and fell madly in love with it. The same year I started my own photography business in Pittsburgh while still attending school (I am now currently attending dental school!) and have shot dozens of weddings, engagements, mini sessions, parties, south asian two day weddings (mehndi and baraat), you name it.
Apart from being a photographer and a dental student, I am a cookie enthusiast, and everyone knows how much we Pennsylvanians love our cookie tables at weddings lol
My style is truly unique. I would describe it as a cross between modern, fine art and documentary-style photography. Assuring you get the beautiful timeless photos to show off. What makes me unique is that I do not have a single form of editing style like you see on most photographers instagram pages. I believe each image is unique, and you cannot edit every image the same way. If you like darker edits, I do those. But if you like more vibrant edits, I also do those. So let’s talk about what YOUR style is and how with my artistic eye we can create photos truly personalized to your event.
However, enough with all the ‘“I’s” let’s talk about you. If you’re wanting to hire a business maybe I’m not your best bet. Hire me to hire the person behind the camera. Trust me, and know that I will do a damn good job making sure you get something incredible out of this investment - So if you made it to the end of this rant let’s chat!

We highly recommend Danny!
We hired him for our fall engagement photos and our spring wedding photos. As a Covid bride, I had to postpone our wedding several times and he was incr...
edibly flexible and understanding. He was really responsive and reliable, and I enjoyed communicating with him, from the initial contract negotiation to the day-of the wedding. He made us, our bridal party, and family feel so comfortable for both the formal and fun portraits! We also had to wrangle people several times, and he was able to roll with it. He had an assistant with him and together, we got all of the shots we wanted: the big moments, the little details, fun shots of the dance floor, and so many happy and funny memories of our guests. He also worked really well with all of our vendors (day of coordinator, videographer, etc.).
We are so glad we went with Danny for our wedding day! He was professional and worked around our crazy families. The pictures turned out so well! He knew the best places to get jaw...
-dropping pictures and get them done quickly so we could get back and enjoy the day. He was affordable without compromising quality. Definitely go with him for your wedding day!

We cannot thank you enough for capturing our big day so beautifully and for making it fun while doing so.

My sister suggested that we check out hiring Danny as our wedding photographer when she saw photos on instagram of her friend's wedding. After viewing Danny's portfolio, we knew we...
had to hire him. WE booked Danny several months in advance to ensure he was available for our wedding. As the day got closer, we had several touch points with Danny both via email and text to ensure all the details of the day were ironed out. With our wedding being in the city and us wanting to do a first look along with photos of us and our dog there were a lot of logistics that needed to be ironed out. Danny provided great suggestions as to certain areas of the city in addition to being patient and easy going as we moved around. Danny was incredible to work with and very efficient with his time - we were done 20 mins earl! we are so excited to receive the final images and would recommend booking Danny to anyone in need of his services!
My wedding was just last night and the fact that I’m already writing the review for Danny should be a testament to his absolute skill, talent, and professionalism. Despite it being...
only 24 hours after my wedding, Danny has already sent the sneak peeks to me and they are absolutely stunning! My husband and I are not big fans of taking photos, but you would honestly think we were a couple on Pinterest with how good the shots turned out. Danny and his second shooter were both so kind and helpful with guiding us with poses and helping to wrangle our bridal parties and guests for photos. He was communicative through every step of the way and always willing and able to answer any questions that I had. He came fully prepared with ideas for shots, but was also great about listening to some of my thoughts and settings also. His photography style is both current and classic and I will be utterly thrilled to display his work throughout my home. I cannot recommend him highly enough and choosing him as my photographer was one of the single best decisions that I made regarding my wedding!

His artistic eye and edits gave us a truly unique look to our photos!
Our photos were so awesome and loved that my brother and his fiancé are using him for their wedding too!!!

His work is amazing!
Danny has a great eye, was very capable at posing us when we had no idea what to do! His color grading is fantastic, he was fun to work with, and now we have hundreds of beautiful ...
engagement photos to use for our website, invitations, and ultimately hanging on wall. Highly recommend Danny for his photo quality and an easy, enjoyable photoshoot!
Danny is a pleasure to work with, talented, professional and laid back. Photos are terrific
Could not have found a better photographer.
Danny was a flexible photographer who could work within our time constraints. I told him our wedding schedule, which was pretty tight ...
- I thought that for sure we would go over time. He said he can make it happen - and surprisingly, he did. On our wedding day, Danny was very efficient and skilled. When there was a lag in time and we were waiting on someone, Danny would use the time to sneak in a few poses with whoever was there. During our photoshoot, there was no delay in terms of where to take the next photo or what pose to do - great for couples like us who don't know how to pose. (His poses were fun too!)
When we received the pictures, I was surprised that he caught moments for which I didn't even know he was there. From the photos, I saw that Danny knows how to capture people - their emotions, their expressions, their hand gestures. He also sent us ALL pictures - the good and the bad - rather than filtering through them himself - this allowed us to keep REAL memories of our wedding, rather than screening them for the best and most idyllic.
Danny is a skilled, efficient, and confident photographer. Also a friendly guy (gave us compliments on our wedding throughout)! Could not have chosen better for our big day.
I planned the wedding date around a day he was available! Everything was amazing. During the day, he was there every time I wanted to capture a moment. He was able to get amazing p...
ictures without having to do posing. With all the stresses of a wedding, dealing with Danny was fun and easy and the product is top notch. Everyone he works with, as well as refers, were also extremely professional and I couldn’t be happier!

d his assistant were professional, respectful, creative and patient with our large, uncoordinated family! We received sneak peak pictures 4 days after our wedding and they are exactly what we wanted and better than we could have imagined. We received so many compliments on the photos. We cannot wait to receive all photos from our big day! I would hire Danny again for future events and occasions!
