I’m Danny AKA the guy always behind the lens (and occasionally on the dance floor).
I’m a multicultural wedding, event, family, and portrait photographer based in Pittsburgh, PA and serving the surrounding area. I was raised in a small town Silver Spring, MD and I made a break for “the big city” for my studies. At University of Pittsburgh, I majored in something completely unrelated to photography: Microbiology. On the side, I started working at wedding photography studio and fell madly in love with it. The same year I started my own photography business in Pittsburgh while still attending school (I am now currently attending dental school!) and have shot dozens of weddings, engagements, mini sessions, parties, south asian two day weddings (mehndi and baraat), you name it.
Apart from being a photographer and a dental student, I am a cookie enthusiast, and everyone knows how much we Pennsylvanians love our cookie tables at weddings lol
My style is truly unique. I would describe it as a cross between modern, fine art and documentary-style photography. Assuring you get the beautiful timeless photos to show off. What makes me unique is that I do not have a single form of editing style like you see on most photographers instagram pages. I believe each image is unique, and you cannot edit every image the same way. If you like darker edits, I do those. But if you like more vibrant edits, I also do those. So let’s talk about what YOUR style is and how with my artistic eye we can create photos truly personalized to your event.
However, enough with all the ‘“I’s” let’s talk about you. If you’re wanting to hire a business maybe I’m not your best bet. Hire me to hire the person behind the camera. edibly flexible and understanding. He was really responsive and reliable, and I enjoyed communicating with him, from the initial contract negotiation to the day-of the wedding. He made us, our bridal party, and family feel so comfortable for both the formal and fun portraits! We also had to wrangle people several times, and he was able to roll with it. He had an assistant with him and together, we got all of the shots we wanted: the big moments, the little details, fun shots of the dance floor, and so many happy and funny memories of our guests. He also worked really well with all of our vendors (day of coordinator, videographer, etc.).

had to hire him. WE booked Danny several months in advance to ensure he was available for our wedding. As the day got closer, we had several touch points with Danny both via email and text to ensure all the details of the day were ironed out. With our wedding being in the city and us wanting to do a first look along with photos of us and our dog there were a lot of logistics that needed to be ironed out. Danny provided great suggestions as to certain areas of the city in addition to being patient and easy going as we moved around. - I thought that for sure we would go over time. He said he can make it happen - and surprisingly, he did. On our wedding day, Danny was very efficient and skilled. When there was a lag in time and we were waiting on someone, Danny would use the time to sneak in a few poses with whoever was there. During our photoshoot, there was no delay in terms of where to take the next photo or what pose to do - great for couples like us who don't know how to pose. (His poses were fun too!)
When we received the pictures, I was surprised that he caught moments for which I didn't even know he was there. From the photos, I saw that Danny knows how to capture people - their emotions, their expressions, their hand gestures. He also sent us ALL pictures - the good and the bad - rather than filtering through them himself - this allowed us to keep REAL memories of our wedding, rather than screening them for the best and most idyllic.
