Danny is incredibly talented and has an eye for all the unique shots! Our wedding took place on the waterfront in Jersey City and besides the stunning skyline photos, Danny captured images that looks like we’re in the middle of a forest and then in Rome! Working with Danny was an experience I won’t soon forget. The day of our brides wedding, he arrived on time and with the most amazing energy. This is so important for me because most times, the bridal party, bride and beauty team have a very early start. He made sure to introduce himself to everyone in the room before looking for areas to capture the best shots for our couples first look. I don’t say this often because I see photo galleries quite often being a wedding planner, but Danny’s images are truly top notch. As we the day went on he would show me his work and I would get excited after each image to see what else he came up with with! Danny and his second shooter David were absolutely wonderful. We hired them for our October 2021 wedding and the weather was a bit inclement and Danny was very flexible and kept us calm and on track. Where do I begin?! Danny and his team are absolutely amazing! It's been just over a year since my wedding, and when I think back to it, our experience with Danny and his team still stick out as an outstanding memory that I must share. Wedding planning can be stressful, and there are so many moving parts. Throughout every step of the process, Danny was open, communicative, and patient via phone, text, and email, and exceeded every expectation we had on our actual wedding day. I was afraid that any photography vendor was going to be bossy and intrusive of our experience, but he was the opposite - he was warm, respectful, and actually really fun! Our wedding was definitely enhanced by his and his team's focus, humor, and professionalism. He made us feel so special, like the most important wedding he's ever done (even though he obviously does tons!). I couldn't have imagined our experience with anyone else! Thank you Danny and your team, from the bottom of my heart. Side note - we also opted for video, and are super glad we did! I recommend it to anyone on the fence about it.... a moving picture of your day as opposed to just still pictures are even more priceless.

Danny was the most AMAZING photographer my husband and I could have ever asked for. Not only were the photographs absolutely stunning, but his calming and knowledgeable presence was such a welcomed one on what is an emotional and stressful day. He is a PRO and you would be doing yourself a favor if you booked him for your wedding.

Danny and his team are amazing. His photographs and creativity caught are attention initially but but his humbleness and genuine concern making sure we were happy not only with our photos but also on our wedding day is what assured us we made the right decision with him. He checked the venue the week leading up to the wedding to do his homework and see what he had to work with at the location. Day of the wedding, he shows up much earlier than expected just to make sure nothing has cha he’d with his pre planning and venue. Neither my wife or I felt rushed during our photos. We opted to not do a first look and we’re going to take our couples photos after the ceremony/ pre reception but due to a scheduling issue unrelated to him, before we knew it, we were already making our reception entrance and going table to table saying our hellos. He saw how much we were enjoying ourselves, pulled us off to the side and asked us “ You know we have to take photo’s of you two together, but I want you to also enjoy your wedding day, you guys deserve it. We can take your couples photos now and you’ll miss the next 2 hours of your party or you can enjoy your wedding and we can re shoot at your convenience and take our time and get some amazing shots”. We opted to party and didn’t regret it one bit. We did our re-shoot 2 weeks later without the stress, we took our time and the photos came out AMAZING!!!

After meeting with Danny for a consultation, I knew that he was the photographer for me! Not only were his photos amazing but he was very personable and easy to work with. His prices are also reasonable and worth every penny. Danny and his crew were great to work with on our wedding day and they made everything stress free. Danny's pictures are absolutely beautiful and we could not be happier with them. We got out photos back 2 months after our wedding day and it was worth the wait. We also used his videographer, which are we anxiously awaiting to see!

Danny is the best! He shot our wedding back in the fall of 2016 and did an AMAZING job capturing the magic of the day. He is willing to go above and beyond to get the best photos and he comes up with some amazing ideas throughout the day (one of our favorite photos from the day was from a shot he found in the back of the parking lot of our wedding venue). My husband and I had a long engagement, about 26 months. We didn't start officially planning until about 6 months after we got engaged and both agreed on where to start first- a photographer. I searched high and low, filtering through reviews, trying to find the perfect photographer that we trusted could beautifully capture our day. I stumbled across Danny on The Knot, reached out to him and had a meeting booked later that week. Danny was the ONLY photographer we met, and my husband and I were instantly drawn to his style. Not to mention, Danny was a super nice guy and took the time to show us plenty of pictures from past wedding and the gorgeous albums he offers. We didn't book right away, wanted some time to think before we made our final decision. About a month later, my husband and I attended a wedding and I instantly recognized Danny, he was working as the bride and grooms photographer that day. After the ceremony my husband and I saw Danny trail the bride and groom as they walked away, and then he hopped down on the ground onto his stomach (outside I might add) in order to capture some pretty amazing shots. Needless to say, after my husband and I saw that, we reached out to Danny the next week and booked our first vendor for our big day. We could not be happier with our decision!! From our first meeting to even weeks after our wedding, Danny was in constant communication, being so responsive throughout the entire process. He arrived early and stayed late on our day to capture every single possible special moment he could. Not only was he friendly and kind, he was professional, EFFICIENT, and encouraging. From the first meeting, Danny was very courteous and friendly which was a perfect fit for us. We planned our entire wedding ourselves and being very laid back people, we wanted our wedding to be very relaxed too. Danny had a very calming attitude and from his portfolio we could see that he had an eye for those "extra" shots that we wanted. 60 people from 5 countries descended in NYC for our late summer rooftop wedding extravaganza, the gods gave us 4 days of cloudless skies and Danny captured incredible shots. When we started planning our wedding finding the absolute best photographer was at the top of my list after finding the venue. I spent weeks looking through the portfolios of photographers trying to find one that made me feel the emotions of a wedding day. When I came across Danny U and his blog I could actually picture myself in his photos and I knew he was the one. After we met with Danny there was no one else I wanted photographing us on our wedding day. He is absolutely amazing and cares so deeply about his work that he accepts nothing less than perfection. He works with couples with whom he feels a personal connection and I think that is why he is able to capture so much happiness and emotion. From our first meeting through our special day and beyond he has treated us like family. No matter how many times I email him or text him, he has never made me feel as though I was bothering him and always responds promptly. I am extremely uncomfortable in front of the camera, but he makes you feel beautiful and captures the very best of you and your significant other. He is easy to work with and if you listen to him, follow his advice and instructions; you will have an amazing collection of photos to memorialize your wedding day. He makes you laugh, makes you feel at ease, makes you feel like the best version you and then captures all of it in a picture. Even when the conditions are less than ideal you will love hearing “I love me some me!” when he succeeds in making magic happen.

There are not enough words that can express how great Danny was at our wedding! His presence and excitement lit up the room and got the day started. In what I anticipated to be an anxious day, Danny somewhat helped me to enjoy and really take in the day. There was chance of rain and he was on top of the forecast to the exact second it was due to rain and he made sure to get all the pictures he could in time. At the church for our formal pictures, he took the large crew we had and took control to make sure everyone was listening to him and so that he could get the best shots. When we first met with him, we knew he was the one. The months leading up to the wedding, he was the most responsive out of ALL of our vendors and even our venue. He would sometimes respond within seconds of receiving the email (to the point where I expected an automated response). We could not be happier with Danny. Can't wait to see the pictures!!!

After looking at Danny's samples I thought he was an excellent photographer. The day of the wedding - what really stood out to me was his intimate touch. The experience was so personal and he truly captured every emotion in our photos. You can see the special moments - even the random funny ones that we will look back at and remember one day. I can honestly say- Danny made my wedding day! I found him at a wedding expo and it was an instant decision the second I left his booth. He has created such wonderful memories for me and my husband. We got married on Feb 26 - a freezing Sunday Morning - and yet the photos came out PERFECT. Not to mention some pre wedding Drama- crunched us for time and yet Danny and his team came through. I was fortunate enough to have Danny as a photographer at my own wedding, where one of my bridesmaids fell in love with his work and decided that when she got married she had to have him as well. He is nothing short of amazing. Not only are his skills and professionalism enough to leave most other photographers in the dust, but his warmth, sincerity and enthusiasm make you feel like some kind of celebrity. He has this way of making everyone feel like they have some kind of hidden talent as a model without being corny. Danny is the kind of photographer you want to take pictures at the wedding of the best friend you have loved since you were both kids. Both the bride and I were so lucky to have found him. If you want pictures that make your mom choke back tears and your bridesmaids reluctantly jealous, snag Danny as soon as you can!

When my sister got engaged, she knew immediately she wanted Danny to be her photographer. She learned of him, his professionalism, and artistic ability as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding. From the moment Danny arrived, it was clear he had a plan and knew what he was doing. He and his assistant (I forgot his name) were so incredibly helpful and had great people skills. Something I noticed immediately was how he made people feel so at-ease. I also noticed his eye for 'good shots'. He took the time to scope out the venue, so he knew where he had to be at all times during the wedding to get the photos he (and my sister and brother-in-law) wanted. Twenty minutes in, I knew I would have some serious wedding photo envy. I wish I knew about Danny when I was getting married! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to a friend.

Danny photographed my friend's wedding a few years ago, and I knew as soon as I saw him that I would want him to document my own. How is it possible for me to condense all of my love for Danny in one concise review? To me, the most important service in planning the entire wedding was the photographer. Photographs last a lifetime, so selecting the right photographer to capture my wedding day was crucial. From the moment we met Danny we knew we were going to choose him as our photographer. Danny has a very creative eye for capturing the beauty of a single moment- we knew from his previous work he was going to bring out the best in our wedding day! From start to finish Danny was a pleasure to work with. He is extremely professional, attentive, and has an amazing calming presence- which is something any bride would appreciate on her wedding day! I was in the bridal party at my friend’s wedding on 5.26 at the Liberty House. I thought Danny had such a sense of how to use the location in his photography. We did a photoshoot of the bridal party in different parts of Liberty State Park and Danny chose some very creative places to take the pictures. When he showed us the pictures immediately after taking them on his camera they looked phenomenal, and that’s before any editing!! I was really amazing. I found Danny through theknot website. He immediately called us after we sent him a message through the site. We could immediate tell how knowledgeable and passionate he was about his work. Danny was the photographer at my daughters wedding on 5.26.16. We recently received the photography from that day and it was spectacular. As we went through the photographs it was like we relived the celebration all over again. He captured the true essence of the occasion full of love and joy. Hands down, the best! Choosing Danny as our photographer was the best decision we made in all of our wedding planning. Not only are his photos incredible, but so is he! I met Danny at a bridal expo, and his friendly demeanor quickly let us know that he was the one for us. I first encountered Danny at a Bridal Convention in Edison, NJ. While the bride and groom walked around looking at other vendors, I was who stumbled upon Danny's table and was instantly taken away! I have always loved photography myself and when I saw Danny's work, I just had to show the bride how amazing and truly talented his pictures were. I KNEW HE HAD AN EYE!
