Danse L’Amour offers a variety of services to help you and your partner learn to dance. The instructors can devise a dance regime that is tailored to your venue and personality. They will consider everything, from your style of wedding attire to your chosen music, allowing you to dance the night away with confidence. Private lessons are available for one-to-one learning, or if you prefer to learn in a group setting, dancing classes are also available. Dance styles offered include rumba, waltz, chacha, foxtrot, and tango.

Hello! My name is Isabella and I am the owner of Danse L'Amour! I grew up dancing ballet before transitioning into the ballroom world as a teenager. I was so enamored with partner dancing, I decided to go into teaching! Before I knew it, I had grown so fond of teaching wedding couples specifically, that I decided to create my own wedding dance curriculum and start servicing wedding couples and their unique dancing needs. I will always melt hearing your sweet meet-cute stories, the proposal stories, and your plans for the big day. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it!

Fantastic experience with Jordana at Danse L’Amour! Highly recommend - I’ve been telling all my friends to go to her. She helped us choreograph and learn a dance to Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 and it was perfect. After 4 lessons we had the whole thing down and nailed it at the actual wedding. Jordana was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and fun to work with.

I have a dance background and my husband does not, and our instructor Stephanie was able to adapt the dance to fit both of us. We cannot recommend Danse L’Amour and our incredible instructor, Kelly Sheehan, enough! Before our wedding, my husband had no idea what rhythm or following a beat even meant, and yet, with just ten lessons, Kelly transformed us into confident dancers. Her patience, creativity, and infectious energy made every session fun and productive. I wanted our first dance to look choreographed but natural, without us constantly counting steps, and Kelly delivered exactly that. By the time our big day arrived, we felt like pros on the dance floor, completely in the moment and enjoying ourselves. We also learned much more than we ever expected. The experience was so great that we’re considering continuing lessons just for fun date nights! Thank you, Kelly, for making our first dance unforgettable!

We wish there was a higher ranking beyond 5 stars. We had our wedding upcoming and reached out to Danse L’Amour. We were then paired with Jordana and we could not be more pleased with our experience. We had very little dance knowledge and she worked with us constantly to develop an amazing routine that we could pull off. Our first dance at our wedding will always be a memory we’ll cherish thanks to her.

We loved working with Steph to get ready for our first dance! I was surprised at how late Steph’s availability was. We typically reserved the 7-8PM spot after we got home from work, which was perfect during a busy month of wedding prep. The dance was choreographed specifically to our song - that was SO nice. I had thought it would be more, “Here is how to do generic turn and X Lift. It was a fun way to lead up to the wedding and spend some time together! Steph made it so easy - and was always so sweet about listening to us. I had a bigger dress - and I would tell her “Ah - I dont know if I can do X lift” She would say, “let’s tweak it!” She made it perfect. Super easy. We took classes at Academy Ballroom - something to be aware of is that it is a shared space. There will be other dancers and songs playing, but it didn’t interfere with our ability to learn our dance! All in all, I would recommend anyone to do this! Loved working with them and Steph!

We loved working with Laura from DansLamour for our June 2024 wedding! I have some background in ballet dance, but my husband is very new to any kind of dancing. We knew we wanted to have a choreographed first dance for the wedding and we knew we wanted to also just learn how to dance socially a bit more. Laura was AMAZING to work with, we did the 5 pack of dance classes and by the 4th lesson we knew the whole dance and got to just spend time practicing and feeling comfortable. Laura was great at explaining the dance moves and teaching us/giving us tips, she was very flexible with scheduling and easy to talk to! We loved how the dance turned out, and want to get more into ballroom/social dancing moving forward since the experience was so fun! We turned the dance lessons into a little date night every few weeks, which was so fun. Highly recommend DansLamour, their online booking system was streamlined, and their prices are very reasonable!

I found danse l’amour through instagram actually and it was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding. We had Kelly S. as an instructor (in NYC), and she was fabulous from start to finish. I’m used to dance but my now husband was very nervous. He’s pretty uncoordinated and was really concerned about having an overly choreographed dance. He also didn’t want to have to stress on the day about remembering steps. We showed Kelly some inspo ideas and moves, she helped us pick between two songs we couldn’t decide on, and she was so flexible and friendly the entire way. She taught my husband certain tricks and tips to help him feel much more at ease, and the dance came out perfectly. I was SO happy with how everything turned out and we sent messages to Kelly afterwards showing her pics and videos of our dance. It really felt like we made a new friend! Every person I spoke with throughout the sales process as well was so friendly and easygoing, just lovely all around! Would highly recommend danse l’amour :)

We had an absolutely wonderful experience choreographing our first dance with Emily Esposito. My husband and I are not good dancers and we were quite nervous about the first dance. Emily was incredibly patient with us and made us feel comfortable in our lessons. The whole process was collaborative--she tweaked the dance and made suggestions based on our taste and comfort level. Despite our initial nerves, my husband and I really enjoyed our first dance and this would not have been possible without Emily's help. We worked with Jordana at the Buckhead dance studio in Atlanta. We had five sessions and were able to learn a completely original dance routine for our first dance. I love to dance, but I’m no professional. My husband barely likes to two-step, but Jordana made it so fun that by our fifth session he was swirling me around the room and nailing all the steps with comfort, ease, and enjoyment. Jordana was patient, kind, and had incredible energy. She listened to what we wanted, and made the whole experience so much fun. If you’re planning a wedding, you know it can get pretty stressful. I can honestly say that dance lessons were my favorite part of the planning process. Not only did my husband and I get to learn a custom choreographed first dance that helped us to feel more comfortable on the dance floor, but it was also five incredible date nights where you get to learn a new skill, move your body, and let loose. I can’t recommend Jordana enough, she was sent to us straight from God! Thanks again for everything! And on our wedding day we nailed it! Everyone loved it and was shocked at how well we tore up the dance floor! If you’re considering booking dance lessons, I think you should definitely do it!

Our first dance couldn't have gone better! We loved our instructor, Stephanie, and felt super ready day-off. We did have a change of instructors after a few lessons. We were nervous for the transition of schedules. But after meeting Steph, we turned out to enjoy both experiences equally! We loved our experience! My husband surprised me with an hour long session so that we could have an idea of how to dance to our wedding song. Our instructor was so patient with us (as we do not have a dance background to say the least haha). She listened to our song ahead of time and was prepared with basic steps that fit perfectly with the song. She was receptive to our thoughts and taught us some moves we were able to use at our wedding. It made our day even more fun and created some cute pictures. Highly recommend.

Stephanie in Atlanta was absolutely incredible! My husband and I used 7 lessons for our dance and my dad and I used 3 lessons for our father/daughter dance. Both were top notch. She made our dance lessons fun and she choreographed the most beautiful dance to our perfect song (First Day of My Life). It was so much better than we even thought it could be! Money well spent. We used Danse L’Amour Atlanta for our first dance choreography. We did four lessons and let the company know ahead of time what we were looking for and it was executed perfectly. Our dance instructor, Jordana, did such an amazing job with the choreography and overall tips and tricks. Not to mention she was super nice and patient! Our first dance was one of the highlights on wedding day and received so many compliments on it from guest saying it was one of the best first dances they have ever seen. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

We did the Zoom sessions with Brittni and have been pleased with our dance! Sometimes it can be hard to understand what to do when you don’t have dancing experience but overall she was great at explaining the steps. I appreciate that she listened when we didn’t feel like a step worked for us and adjusted accordingly. The choreography is beautiful. We feel excited and confident to do the dance on our big day!

We took lessons for our first dance with Emily in NYC. The booking process was easy and we met Emily weekly at a studio in NYC. Emily was a fantastic teacher for us. Not only did she choregraph our dance in line with our respective skill levels, but she kept it fun for us and we really looked forward to our lesson each week. If a lift or step was too confusing for us, we pivoted to a new approach on the spot, which is a testament to Emily's expertise and knowledge. I would 100% recommend Emily and Danse L'Amour to family and friends-- the experience was excellent and everyone was impressed with our dance at the wedding. 10/10!

Mary was absolutely amazing!! She was so patient with us (trust me when I say we both have 2 left feet!!) and taught us the most amazing, romantic first dance for our wedding that people are still talking about. We loved working with Shiloh on our first dance choreography and grand entrance! Her dance lessons were the best part of our wedding planning experience and was an outlet for us to get out of the house and relieve some stress. It was so much fun learning new techniques and dance terminology from her. Shiloh listened to our vision and incorporated key parts of our first dance song's lyrics into the choreography. She helped us record the last few sessions, was quick at responding to our messages, and provided helpful feedback. We loved how our first dance turned out so much that my husband and I now spontaneously dance to it for fun even after the wedding. We received so many compliments from our guests, and our videographer and photographer took so many good shots of the dance!! We couldn't recommend Shiloh from Danse L'Amour enough. You won't regret it!!

We took dance lessons with Mary ahead of our first dance. We got the 10 lesson package and Mary helped us choreograph a routine for a 3.5 minute song. I am a terrible dancer and Mary broke the routine down into easy, accessible parts and I had a great time! Everyone at our wedding loved our dance and kept complimenting us and the routine. First dance lessons with Brittni were a fully worthwhile investment for our wedding. First and foremost, our dance was gorgeous, totally us, and at the perfect level of do-able while also looking totally impressive and elegant. Our first dance song was so meaningful to us, and I couldn’t compare trying to make up moves or awkwardly swaying to how magical it was to really DANCE together! Start early - my husband and I are very beginner level, but the only struggle we encountered was that we both travel so much, it was hard to find time to practice between lessons. But Brittni really got us there and helped us enjoy every minute - it was also so fun to try something new as a couple as we prepared for our wedding.

We had the honor to work with and discover Bella as our first dance teacher for our wedding a little over a month ago. My now husband and I never really danced before so we were very nervous going into it but excited as well for this last part of the wedding planning. We had signed up for 5 lessons and it turned out to be sufficient for our dance routine because Bella crafted the perfect dance for us. We wanted to have a memorable, easy dance with some fun photo-worthy moments - and she made it happen! Not only was she super easy and comfortable to work with, she was the sweetest dance teacher we could ask for. Her friendliness and energy made the dance lessons very enjoyable. By the end of it, it was very bittersweet for us because it was the end of our journey with her. That said, we highly recommend Bella to be your first dance teacher! You will have both an amazing dance teacher and sweet friend to help support this stressful last part of the wedding preparation.

We cannot thank Bella enough for working with us in NYC. We chose to do 10 in-person classes, and it was well worth the investment! Not only were these lessons such a cute date night in preparation for the wedding, but it really helped our communication skills as a couple. Bella was super patient and encouraging with us. She always was in the best mood possible and was quick to offer help or whip up new moves if we couldn't nail down a specific trick. What I loved most about Bella's choreography was that it was us! It felt so organic and classic like we had been dancing like this for years. It didn't feel staged. It really let our love for one another shine through. Our first dance was our favorite moment of the night. We received so many compliments, and to this day, our guests talk about it. We still find ourselves dancing it at home. We cannot recommend Bella and Danse L'Amour enough to all of our friends getting married. It really is worth it.

Thank you so much to Mary and the Danse L’Amour team for helping us put together the first wedding dance of our dreams!!! We wanted to take a few dance lessons so that we didn’t just stand on the dance floor and sway, but we didn’t want it to be so over choreographed that it seemed cheesy. Mary taught us basic moves that made us look like pros, and put together the perfect customized dance to our song of choice! Now my husband is saying he wants to take more dance lessons because he had so much fun and gained so much more confidence on the dance floor. Our best friends are getting married in 6 months and we are strongly encouraging them to take lessons with Danse L’Amour! Mary was always on time, flexible to reschedule or make it work with our schedule when things came up, and always so fun/happy to be around! We did the 5-class package and it was the perfect amount!

She worked with us to help us achieve exactly what we wanted while never pressuring us to go too far out of our comfort zone. We signed up for a pack of ten while in Atlanta and so enjoyed each week meeting Mary and working on a killer 2-minute dance to one of our favorite rock songs. People were blown away by the dance at our wedding and all the moves were so distinctly us. When we had to fly back to Los Angeles, Mary met with us virtually for our final sessions as the wedding neared. She is incredible. Don't even think twice about it! BOOK IT!

The dance lessons were by far my favorite part of prepping for the wedding. Mary immediately made us both feel so comfortable. We initially wanted to learn some basics bc we hadn’t selected a song and Mary worked with us each step of the way. She even allowed us to schedule as you go vs committing to a set number of classes. Mary was our favorite vendor. We had so much fun with her and we’ll probably take more lessons now that the wedding is over!

WORTH THE INVESTMENT I can not say enough good things about this program & most of all our instructor, Mary, who took out non-traditional song choice and crafted a routine WITH us & was a joy to see at each lesson. Mary made the process fun. It’s also a great way to bond with your partner and get a few date days/nights in before your wedding. We would 100% do it again!!

Mary was an excellent teacher and choreographer for our wedding first dance! We started with 4 left feet, but 2 months later, our friends and family were so impressed! Mary did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding dance! My husband had zero dancing experience but Mary was so sweet and patient, and it's amazing what she put together for us in only 3 sessions. Mary did such a phenomenal job teaching us such a fun first dance for our wedding! Speaking as the now husband, I wasn’t so sure about taking dance lessons and felt like it might be lame or embarrassing, but I had a blast over the course of 5 lessons! She was really great at knowing when to guide us at a high level early on and when to point out small details to fix as we got better with our dance. Looking at videos of our first dance lesson compared to the actual first dance at our wedding was jaw dropping! In our last two lessons Mary pointed out not only small things to fix, but also how what we were doing would look in our wedding photos, which was so great for us to focus on. Throughout the process, Mary was so friendly, helpful, and clearly very experienced not only in dancing, but also teaching. We cannot recommend her enough!

Since I could remember I’ve always had this theatrical vision for our first wedding dance. I didn’t want anything basic or traditional, I wanted pizzazz, fun, and flair. She took the time to understand our vision for the first dance and our differing comfort level with dancing. What sets Emily apart is her keen understanding of the nuances of wedding dances. She not only choreographed beautiful moves that would look amazing in photos and videos, but also considered the challenges of dancing in heaving Indian wedding attire. Throughout our dance lessons, Emily's positive attitude and enthusiasm were infectious. She made learning to dance a fun and enjoyable experience, and her encouragement gave us the confidence to perform our first dance flawlessly on our big day. Mary was absolutely fantastic to work with at the Roswell, GA location! I wanted something more than just swaying back and forth during our first dance and Mary delivered. Griffin and I had so much fun taking lessons. She catered the dance to us and our personalities. Everyone thought it was so special at the wedding!

We had the pleasure of working with the owner, Bella, in NYC! Her team had us set up our account, our lessons, and our plan easily and effortlessly after our initial call. They had a thorough questionnaire about our type of dance, what we were looking for, our song, etc. Through this, once we stepped into our first lesson, Bella already had a plan for us! She has a hard task of choreographing a full first dance for a full four minutes lol. I think we did about 8 to 10 lessons which was wholly worth the money. The nice part about being here in Brooklyn is there were two studios for us to choose from depending on where we were located. We did some at the Manhattan location but mostly the Brooklyn studio which is awesome. Timing and scheduling was very flexible and very easy. She heard our concerns after we would come back after another session from practicing and finding that wasn’t what we were looking for and we would transition. By the end of our lessons, we were fully confident with our videos to practice with for the big day. I can tell you the big day was this past month and we nailed our dance. Everybody was awestruck, wowed, and super impressed. We felt confident and fully prepared after all our lessons and we cannot thank Bella enough for a lifetime of memories for our big day.

Mary was fantastic. Didn't really know what to expect, or how worth it getting dance lessons would be, but we had so much fun and the final product far exceeded our expectations. Couldn't recommend Mary enough!

My husband and I are not dancers but we wanted to do more than just a sway for our first dance and have a fun, unique experience. We definitely got all that and more! Specifically, our instructor Mary Seiersen, was incredible. She created a routine, edited our song, and taught us a show-stopping dance that our guests loved. Some of my favorite pictures are from the lift that my husband did during our dance! Scheduling was easy and there were multiple locations and times to fit our schedules.
