WARNING: DO NOT GET MASSAGES HERE!!!
Let me start by saying, I’ve been a very loyal customer of this business for 10 years now. I get a massage about 6-8 times per year. My last massage I received in December from their male masseuse, Miller,... made me extremely uncomfortable when he exposed my breasts, got too close to my private areas with his fingers, and other things. I even had a closed door conversation with the manager about my uncomfortable experience and she pretty much dismissed me, said Miller was harmless and didn’t mean anything by it etc. She threw a “free” massage at me for my trouble, which I wasn’t trying to get anything free. I just wanted to be heard and taken seriously. But I don’t feel like I was at all.
Fast forward - I gifted my “free” massage to my brother for his birthday. He called me afterwards and was livid and SO EMBARRASSED. Apparently, the masseuse he had, Brittany, ended his 90 minute massage after only 15 minutes because my brother moaned / made noises during his massage. She said she felt uncomfortable and that they were “inappropriate noises.” And she just couldn’t finish the massage. After telling him the reasons at the front desk for all of the business to hear - They made him leave!! Like seriously, she shouldn’t be a masseuse if she can’t handle people oohing and ahhing because massages feel GOOD! It wasn’t in appropriate. They totally embarrassed my brother for no good reason - could not tell him what he did that was “inappropriate” except that he made moaning sounds. UMMM, HELLO! IT’S A FREAKING MASSAGE! When I called the manager to address the issue, she told me she “had to back Brittany”, who, by the way, had only been working at the company for 6 months. I informed her that I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years & that she was about to lose my business completely (because of this situation and my previous massage with Miller, which WAS actually inappropriate).
I’m not sure if they’re under new management or what but if they keep treating their customers like this, they won’t have anyone to massage in the near future.
The worst part is, I also get my hair done there and I LOVE my hair lady, Jennifer. But because of this experience and the way they’ve treated me and my brother, I will never spend money at this business again. So Jennifer has lost me as a customer all because Brittany decided to cook up some crazy BS in her head, handled the situation incredibly unprofessionally, and management wasn’t willing to correct the issue or try to save us as customers.
