ding prep were so helpful, and it always felt like she answered our questions before we could think to ask them. As introverted nerds, we always felt so at ease with her and most importantly, we actually experienced our wedding! While having a first look helped, Danyel and her second, Kelly, were so efficient and worked in such a way that we didn't even have time to overthink the posing and were able to get back to the party quickly. When Danyel arrived at the venue, she immediately got to work without any help from me, tucking herself into a corner to get detail shots as my crew finished getting ready and I got hair and makeup done. She made us feel so at home and so comfortable. Cannot recommend her enough and we can't wait to work with her again!

Leading up to the wedding she was very communicative, I appreciated the timeline that she drafted up plus the tips/suggestions. The day of the wedding she and Kelly (her lovely co-shooter) were a dream! They were efficient and again so easy to work with, definitely helped nerves on such an emotional and hectic day. They even helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress haha. We got the photos back 5 and a half weeks after the wedding and oh my gosh, so incredible! The way the photos capture the happiness and excitement of the day is amazing, perfect blend of posed and candid photos. We are so happy we went with Danyel to help us document this wonderful day!

When she realized she missed that moment, she asked me to take the gown off and put it back on. She didn’t stay 45 minutes later even though she was 45 minutes late. She had a big disagreement with my DJ about the timeline. The photos took a lot longer than expected. I’ve been debating on writing this review for a long time. Photos were beautiful, but I would not recommend.

She answered emails and all questions quickly, was very professional, so easy to work with and has a great personality that makes everything so fun. Leading up to the wedding we had an engagement session with Danyel which was amazing. She went through the key phrases she was going to say on wedding day and truly made us feel comfortable so that on wedding day we could just relax. The engagement session photos came out incredible. Then the wedding was a top-notch experience as well! Danyel and her second photographer Christine did an unbelievable job capturing all the photos we wanted and then also photos that were natural and not planned. We had a massive wedding party which is nerve-racking for photos but everything went so smooth and perfectly. Our wedding was 11/26/21 and Danyel got us our sneak peak collages about a week after our wedding, and our full gallery the week of Christmas. We were so impressed with how quick she provided us with our full gallery and how amazing the pictures turned out! Danyel is amazing to work with!

a fun and laid-back photographer. After our engagement shoot with Danyel, my husband told me that he enjoyed himself, and our pictures turned out incredible. Danyel was extremely flexible when we postponed our wedding due to COVID and promptly answered all of our questions. We were relieved that she was available for our re-scheduled date of 9.26.21. Danyel made wedding re-planning less stressful and is an excellent resource for anything wedding-related (she recommended our amazing DJ to us!) Danyel’s co-shooter, Kelly, was just as wonderful to work with. Her shooting style is so similar to Danyel’s that I honestly could not tell two different photographers took our wedding photos. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and Danyel and Kelly captured us perfectly. We will genuinely treasure our wedding pictures forever.

I changed my mind a million times before and during our wedding and she was right there for all of it. I have people ask me all the time who my photographer was because she fit in so well with the crowd, they thought she was family! I hope to catch her one year while she travels down for vacation at Disney! (She’s a HUGE Disney nerd!) If you are looking for a photographer for ANYTHING, I would recommend Danyel over and over again!!

at Danyel is warm, professional, and flexible is an understatement. We first met Danyel at the recommendation from an old friend, met her, and my husband instantly bonded with her love for all-things Star Wars. If her personality wasn't enough, her sample night and low-light photos speak for themselves. MANY photographers will say they are experts at night shots, but their portfolios tell different. Danyel's photos are the BEST I have seen, especially in low light. We walked out of the meeting knowing she was a must! Then, COVID happened and we had to rearrange all the things. While I had to fight with some vendors to try and problem solve with us, Danyel was beyond flexible. She gave advice when asked, offered solutions, and reassured me over and over that this was somewhat out of our hands as she too is a COVID wedding bride. At our wedding, Danyel fit in seemlessly taking pictures of our most intimate moments. We have gotten so many compliments on how our pictures belong in a magazine. They are GORGEOUS! As a bride, Danyel has made me feel beautiful and at ease. She responds promptly, is completely reliable, and a true artist. She is beyond one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding and we CANNOT wait for her to shoot our reception! (And, if you are thinking about some sexy pictures for your future hubby, look no further. I am pretty modest and was pretty nervous. Danyel made me laugh and made me feel beautiful. My pictures are out of this world... almost so much that I couldn't believe they were of me!)

She so easily blended in with the wedding party and our wedding guests and so many people have told us how much they LOVED our photographer! She was always so calm, which helped keep everyone’s nerves at bay! Anyone who is able to snag her as their photographer will not be disappointed. We knew at once that we loved the idea of someone who was able to do both traditional photos and those with creative and playful flair. Additionally, I particularly loved Danyel's style and coloring in her photos. I knew it worked with my own personal aesthetic preference. When we actually reached out to Danyel and got the chance to discuss things with her, we knew she would be a great fit with us. She was wonderful about breaking down the day for us, as we knew very little of what to expect, and helping us decide what would work best in our situation, like what a second photographer might offer, etc. She also was very interested in getting to know what our interests were and how to add a personal touch to our night shots. On the actual day, Danyel was invaluable. She really acted as a guide during the day, helping us along. She somehow took so many amazing photographs in what I can only describe as a tornado mess of a hotel room. During the reception, she took us out for our night shots and when I forgot something I had set down outside (too many things to keep track of), I found Danyel had already scooped it up and put it back on my seat. The photographs themselves were beautiful. So many details captured and immortalized beautifully. I absolutely love going through them, again and again. Most importantly, we had pictures of our loved ones enjoying the day. I absolutely adore our wedding album. It's beautiful, and Danyel was wonderfully patient with us throughout the process. “first look” to the very end of the night, she would know exactly how and when to get the best shot in the best light--creating the most magical scenes. My husband and I are both stiff in front of a camera, but she gave us simple, easy directions on how to pose naturally and with a lot of variety. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable, and it really shows on our faces. Danyel was very easy to get in contact with and I could freely communicate with her all my requests and concerns. On the day-of, she was careful to check off all the people on my “must-have” photo list—even those I had forgotten about! And I was SO impressed with how she got my two-year-old nephew to look right down the camera lens with no squeaky toys or anything! She’s a toddler-whisperer! Thank you so much, Danyel!!! So she might not be your style, but you should make an exception. Working with her was a dream come true. We had a first meeting and it was like hanging out with an old friend. Plus her prices were better than most other photographers I interviewed! (Although I would have picked her even if she wasn't one of the most cost-effective photographers I met with.)
