Erin and Peter were amazing!! We aren’t local to Connecticut anymore, so we had to have all virtual planning meeting and they were super on top of everything. On the day of, they helped us with timing, they orchestrated a lot of photos that we wanted to make sure we had taken, and best of all, they helped my husband and I with posing. We found it to be an added benefit that they are a husband and wife team because they could showcase the poses they were looking for to help us visualize without it being awkward. The final product was beyond incredible. My family hasn’t stopped talking about the photos! It was so special that they somehow match the flowers in the background of each photo to outfits people were wearing. We were in the tulip gardens at Elizabeth Park and the variety and beauty in each photo was beyond what I could have hoped for. I can’t wait to receive the physical album as well! It will be cherished for many years to come!

Erin and Peter from Daphne and Dean Photography are two of the nicest people you could imagine. From the phone calls and video calls, to meeting them in person for our engagement session, we felt comfortable from the start. My husband and I certainly aren't the most graceful couple! We had no idea how to pose, didn't know what to do with ours bodies and faces, etc. Erin and Peter made it so easy! They showed us how to pose, but each pose was so natural... not staged and stiff. We did our engagement session in a forest on one of the hottest and muggiest days of the summer. At the end of the session, we did a fun shoot where we stood in the river! They made everything so easy and fun. When we got the engagement session photos back, we were absolutely blown away! We loved how natural all of the photos looked. Jumping to our wedding day, we felt even more comfortable now being in front of the camera. They took amazing close up shots of the rings, the guy's watches, etc. At the end of the night, Peter was dancing along with us... everybody loved how kind and fun they were! Erin and Peter just might have been one of our favorite parts of our wedding! They were extremely responsive and friendly for our Engagement session and in the months leading up to our wedding. We met with them before the wedding to review our day of timeline and details and they truly made sure that every moment was captured to perfection! Our pictures are absolutely stunning and we simply cannot stop staring at them. Erin and Peter were extremely knowledgeable of our venue (The Barns at Wesleyan Hills) and they captured the beauty of the day perfectly. Choosing Erin and Peter (Daphne and Dean) to be our wedding photographers had to be one of our easiest decisions and we cannot speak highly enough of our experience working with them. We did engagement photos on a snowy winters day and it was a such a fun experience getting to know them in that way. I love how they model a pose they would like you to try by doing it themselves, and it really feels like you are taking photographs with a couple of (very talented) friends. We were married in April 2021, and they captured the day perfectly. I also love how Erin and Peter dress like wedding guests and blend in so nicely. Erin and Peter were a dream to work with. They are such wonderful people and are incredibly talented. Like many other 2020 couples, my husband and I had to drastically change our plans due to COVID-19. When we moved our venue from Connecticut to Massachusetts, Erin and Peter pivoted with us and made it clear they would be there and support us on our day no matter what happened. Erin and Peter came highly recommended to us by a mutual photographer who was not available to to capture our wedding day. We did not look at their website, read their reviews or ask about their prices we just trusted they were amazing and booked our wedding day which was FridayAugust 2nd 2019. This couldn’t have been a better decision! We knew they were going to be the right fit for us the night we met. We had a meet and greet dinner together a few months before our wedding date. We had so much in common with each other and the conversation was so easy. I knew on our wedding day they would be able to put us at ease and make taking our pictures fun! They are also very organized and professional. They have specific questions to make sure that every person and detail that you want captured on your wedding day happens. They also are very good at following the timeline we came up with together since I am a crazy punctual, organized, timeline person too! Staying on track with your wedding day is so important so that everything runs smoothly and everything you want captured gets accomplished. The day/night flys by so quickly and as the bride and groom you don’t want to miss a single moment and Erin and Peter helped us with that! Even more exciting all my girlfriends had to wait 2-3 months to get their photos back and we received ours back in a 3-5 week timeframe. This is stated on your contact with Daphne’s and Dean Photography, and it’s true! We also got a BEAUTIFUL sneak peak within days of our wedding! Now we are trying to accomplish the daunting task of picking our favorite photos so that they can make us our wedding album. We were sent about 1,300 photos and we don’t know how we are going to pic, our top photos because they are literally ALL amazing! I meet and chit chat with many people throughout the day and I have been recommending Daphne and Dean Photography relentlessly. I hope to also use them in the future for maternity, family, or anniversary photos!

After a few months of searching for photographers and having trouble finding one that was available, within our budget, and who had a portfolio that impressed us we were recommended by a family member to check out Daphne & Dean Photography. We instantly fell in love with their photos and decided we were willing to stretch our budget a little bit to have them do our engagement and wedding. Upon arranging to meet with them, it was also great to find out that they were adding a photobooth to their available options. Erin, one half of this husband and wife team, made it easy to set up a meeting with her and her husband Peter. We talked through all of the current details and ideas we had for our wedding and knew this would be perfect. Erin made it easy to book and make our deposit. The payment schedule was great and easy to handle. Despite our engagement shoot being on what seemed to be the most hot and humid day of the summer, they still managed to get some great shots that we were excited to use for our save-the-dates. Peter has a very goofy and outgoing personality which makes it very easy to laugh during your photos, all while Erin is a bit more reserved but also enjoys taking part in his modeling of the different poses for you. The chemistry between them made it fun to follow their direction. They met with us about a month before the wedding and went over more of our updated details and schedule. Peter would be meeting the guys at the hotel and Erin would meet us girls at the venue. We felt very confident and ready for the big day. Erin kept in contact with me with any questions I had in the last weeks and days. The day of the wedding, it rained right up until a few hours before the ceremony. Things were drying up just in time for our first-look photos before the sun came out really strong. All of the photos, from the ceremony, to our couples photos to the party photos were all phenomenal and I look at them all the time. I can’t wait to have more on display in our new home. Erin and Peter even jumped in on the fun in the photo booth and started up a conga line with the photobooth props around the dance floor. They were definitely a hit and checked in with us regularly to make sure we got pictures of all the right moments, including our sunset photos. The photobooth was perfect for a summer wedding; it was open so it was great for the warmer weather we had and was so easy for the guests to use and came with great props. We really enjoyed working with both Erin and Peter and hope you will too!

I can't say enough nice things about Erin & Peter at Daphne and Dean. (And their newest addition Amy too!) Not only are they extremely talented and professional, they are personable and kind too. We used them for our wedding day and they were amazing! They made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera even though my husband and I are super awkward people. They found great places for us to take our first look photos, our couple photos, and even our family portraits too! Throughout the night I also saw them taking our guests aside to take their photos as well, which was was great because having pictures of my guests was really important to me. They also went above and beyond, especially Amy, when it came to carrying the train of my dress and my bouquet from place to place. I didn't expect that much help so I really appreciated that. We also used their photobooth and that was fantastic too! The props were AWESOME. They weren't those props that are printed at home and stuck to a kebab stick, they were real hats and masks and various items that were a lot of fun to pose with. And Erin, Peter and Amy were so nice and understanding when a few of my guests had a liiiiitle too much fun. It's been a little over a week since the big day and I've already seen quite a few photos and they have been beautiful. (I even received one the night of the wedding which was so unexpected!) I can't wait to see the full gallery and I know we will be happy with everything they captured that day. Thank you again for everything!

How do you write a review for people who so PERFECTLY captured all of the love and happiness on your big day? Erin and Peter @ Daphne and Dean Photography did just that. After scouring the internet for our wedding photographer, we stumbled upon their website and fell in LOVE with how much love you can feel in each and every one of their photographs. From that point on we knew we would want to work with Erin & Peter. They made every part of our day seamless from getting ready all the way to the very end of the night. Our open-air photobooth was also a huge hit (shout out to Amy!!) and the pictures from that are priceless. All in all, hiring Daphne and Dean Photography was the BEST choice we made for our wedding. We would 100% recommend them to any of our friends who get married in the future.

Book them. Seriously. Not only do they have a laid back and calming vibe (important when you are a little overwhelmed!) but they are immensely talented and our photos have the exact vibe that I envisioned. They worked in every single lighting scenario, from direct sunlight to overcast to indoors to nighttime to rain, and every photo still carries a bright and airy feel. Seriously, I could sing their praises forever. They’re easy to be around, they made us feel totally comfortable, and they found all the right “angles” to make us look like the best versions of ourselves. Erin and Peter were so easy to get along with right from the start and their banter/personalities make it very easy to be ourselves in front of the camera. We were so impressed at how they can take in the location and quickly come up with ideas. I had read reviews about how they're kind of like ninjas during the reception because you'll barely see them while they're snapping away so I made an effort to find them - I couldn't! But I saw them in the background of friend's/family's pictures so I know they were there. They truly are fantastic at what they do.
