About the Founder of Dapper DJ Productions
DJ Khaleel is a Brooklyn native born with an innate passion for music. While studying at Morehouse College, he quickly became the DJ of choice for all on-campus events and college parties. What initially started as his after-class hobby quickly became his source of income to pay his way through school. After graduation, DJ Khaleel has now transitioned to be one of the premier Luxury DJ on the East Coast. Making people dance is a true passion of Khaleel and he will not rest until everyone hits the dance floor at your wedding!

DJ Khaleel was Absolutely fantastic! Not only did he kill it with the music! He reached out several times before the wedding to give us great advice and remind us that the day is all about us.
He patiently worked with me when I gave him a pretty silly playlist, and he went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Somehow, he even got my old man on the dance floor. I've never seen him dance in his life, and it was pure magic to see it.
I can't recommend him enough! He nailed it as a DJ, as an MC, and as an advisor. If I host another event, I will definitely reach out to him!

Khaleel played for our wedding this past weekend and if I could give him 10 stars I would. He was excellent from start to finish, from our first call till the day of the wedding, he was nothing short of exceptional. He even made suggestions for our wedding that helped it run efficiently. I was a little worried that we wouldn't be able to get much dancing in since my ceremony and reception were all of 6hrs but he made it work and we got to dance at 3 points during the reception and fit in speeches. He also worked really well with my MC and played all the Haitian and Caribbean hits guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor. Khaleel exceeded our expectations, the vibe and the dj set were just magical, he helped to make our day that much more special. My guests are still telling me how great the music was. I would highly recommend him for your wedding or any event. We were blown away by his talent and most importantly his professionalism and dedication to exemplary service.

Khaleel was incredible to work with. Professional, communicative and the most important part, an absolute crowd pleaser!!! He took our notes on songs we love, like, hate and even remixes that we wanted him to use as inspiration and he just knocked it out of the park. Invest in your DJ!! The wedding was absolutely amazing! My spouse and I discussed the ceremony and reception and we both unequivocally agreed that DJ Khaleel and his team were the best choice for DJ. Khaleel's professionalism, attention to detail, and communication skills made our partnership with him effortless. He took the time to understand our preferences and made sure that everything was covered. Even at the last minute, when I suggested a song to him, he seamlessly incorporated it into his set. DJ Khaleel did an amazing job for our rustic Christmas themed wedding this year and had our party jumping! Starting from our initial phone call with him, he was very professional, had a firm knowledge of music and our vibe, and presented us with an outline to finely cater the track selections at every stage of our event. DJ Khaleel did a phenomenal job of pacing the music, playing lower tempo smoother tracks during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and faster up-tempo tracks during the reception. He was also an excellent MC, getting our guests engaged in a fun and energetic way and did a great job of reading the room and landing tracks perfectly throughout the event. His pricing was also very affordable & reasonable which helped us tremendously with our budget. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and if you are looking for someone who’s a master at their craft we’d highly suggest speaking to DJ Khaleel at Dapper DJ Productions!

DJ Khaleel brought great vibes to our wedding reception and kept the energy going throughout the night. Leading up to the wedding we spoke about what our music tastes are and we got a form to fill out that was very helpful in organizing the songs for different parts of our reception. DJ Khaleel is absolutely a pro and incredibly easy to work with! From quickly answering emails and getting on calls throughout the planning process, he helped us put together a fun package for our guests. The entire process was smooth. We can't thank him enough for putting on music our whole family (young and old) could enjoy. He is an entertaining DJ, and he got the party started and kept our guests entertained all night! Our guests could not get enough of the 360 photobooth, and it was a hit at our wedding! I definitely recommend adding this to your package for your wedding or event! We know our guests loved that feature. We particularly can't thank him enough for keeping our wedding on track by being an excellent professional and thinking ahead when it was time to cut the cake. My wife and I can't thank him enough for being a part of our special day, and we recommend his services for your wedding too!

Khaleel was super easy to work with from the beginning until our wedding. He is the right balance of laid-back in person and charismatic to run your event to keep people on the dance floor. I really appreciated him taking time to talk to us to get an idea of who we were as a couple, and respecting our song requests throughout the evening. Also, the special effects were amazing! I have never seen CO2 guns before my wedding, the pics of us "in the clouds" for our first dance were beautiful, and I never dreamt that I'd be handed a T-shirt gun at my wedding (or ever). The 360 video booth was also a hit for our guests. I had so much fun at my wedding and a huge part of that was because of Khaleel and his crew. They were all professional and very kind, and we'd hire them again for future events.

You don’t need any other DJ! He was one of the easiest and best DJ’s I’ve ever had. He made sure everyone was dancing the whole night long and I kept getting compliments from my guest for the music and the special effects he brought.

What can I say, DJ Khaleel was phenomenal! Talk about A DJ with personality! He kept the crowd hype the whole night. We did do a bunch of extras, Fireworks show, Intelligent Lighting, Dancing on the clouds and a 360 Photobooth. Everything was executed flawlessly! Highly recommended, 10/10!

On the day of him and his team were early, did a swift yet beautiful set up, made sure the music was fitting for our audience. I am so happy I found Dapper Dj Productions on this site. So we got married 2 weeks ago and my feet still hurt from dancing! Khaleel did and extraordinary job keeping the dance floor packed. He answered all my questions a head of time and gave us sound advice leading up to the big day. We did a bunch of extras (dancing on the clouds, cold sparks/fireworks, lighting, 360 photo booth)! We really wanted the WOW factor and he did not disappoint. Don’t look any further, this is your guy for the job!

OMG Dapper DJ Productions and DJ Khaleel were amazing! We were probably super difficult to work with, I was looking for an HBCU Homecoming type of feel and my husband is way more top 40/edm. Well, Khaleel took care of us both, he seamless mixed between genres and kept the crowd on their feet. He was super energetic on the microphone and kept us entertained. We must have talked to him a dozen times before the event because we had so many questions and he assured us each time he would take care of us, and he did! 5 out of 5 highly recommended, I can't wait to plan the next event and use him again. He truly rocked!

I first booked DJ Kleel for my October 2019 wedding of approx. 120 people at Terrace on the Park venue. He was responsive to my many questions and was transparent in his pricing for offered services/add-ons. Customer service is of the highest priority to me and he is the ultimate professional. KLeel arrived early, set-up way before we even started, and wowed our guests for the entire afternoon. He played our selected music playlist and his own selections were spot on with keeping out party going until the very last guest. Since then, my family continues to book him for our parties and he most recently DJ'd my daughter's baby shower and was a huge hit. I highly recommend his services and will continue to book him for our future events!

I've been so several wedding DJ'd by Khaleel and have always been impressed. I had the opportunity to contract with Khaleel for mine and he was amazing. I feel like he saved the best for my experience. Guests were enjoying every moment, between the time they waited for our entrance, then the party and even was we were ending the night.
