About the Founder of Dapper DJ Productions
DJ Khaleel is a Brooklyn native born with an innate passion for music. While studying at Morehouse College, he quickly became the DJ of choice for all on-campus events and college parties. What initially started as his after-class hobby quickly became his source of income to pay his way through school. After graduation, DJ Khaleel has now transitioned to be one of the premier Luxury DJ on the East Coast. Making people dance is a true passion of Khaleel and he will not rest until everyone hits the dance floor at your wedding!

He patiently worked with me when I gave him a pretty silly playlist, and he went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Somehow, he even got my old man on the dance floor. I've never seen him dance in his life, and it was pure magic to see it.

e was nothing short of exceptional. He even made suggestions for our wedding that helped it run efficiently. I was a little worried that we wouldn't be able to get much dancing in since my ceremony and reception were all of 6hrs but he made it work and we got to dance at 3 points during the reception and fit in speeches. He also worked really well with my MC and played all the Haitian and Caribbean hits guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor. Khaleel exceeded our expectations, the vibe and the dj set were just magical, he helped to make our day that much more special. My guests are still telling me how great the music was. I would highly recommend him for your wedding or any event. We were blown away by his talent and most importantly his professionalism and dedication to exemplary service.

DJ Khaleel did a phenomenal job of pacing the music, playing lower tempo smoother tracks during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and faster up-tempo tracks during the reception. He was also an excellent MC, getting our guests engaged in a fun and energetic way and did a great job of reading the room and landing tracks perfectly throughout the event. His pricing was also very affordable & reasonable which helped us tremendously with our budget. I have never seen CO2 guns before my wedding, the pics of us "in the clouds" for our first dance were beautiful, and I never dreamt that I'd be handed a T-shirt gun at my wedding (or ever).
