It was a joy to work with Dar and her husband Ron for our engagement photos and wedding. She is an absolute artist and takes breathtaking photos, and is just a lovely human to boot. She was extremely attentive, warm, communicative, and easy to work with through the entire wedding process. On the day of, she was a calm and relaxed presence and our families loved her! We can't recommend Dar highly enough. Hope we get to work with her for a future celebratory occasion. 5 stars!

If you are looking for the best wedding photographer around... your search is over! Darlene embodies everything that you could ever wish for. She photographed our wedding and we could not be happier! She captured the day in such a beautiful, natural and artistic way. From our first meeting, through every step of the planning, the wedding itself and of course the final viewing of the photographs, Darlene was the BEST. Professional, warm, communicative, responsible, and of course, above all, simply an amazing photographer. She and her husband Ron ( an amazing professional photographer as well) put everyone at ease with their fun and relaxed manner, capturing the spirit of each moment. They absolutely brought out the best in the bridal party as well as the guests. We have all looked at the photos over and over again, and they make us laugh and tear up each time. Even the "formals" look so relaxed, I don't know how she did it. I highly recommend her!! And believe me, she will be photographing the next important event in our family!

I interviewed a lot of photographers and for a few days I thought to go with a less expensive large company (be careful they will stalk you) but I had such a great first conversation with Darlene I realized the difference would be huge. Don't risk your wedding day to chance, go with Darlene you'll get more than you think for your money. She's professional, courtesy, personable and has a great eye. I guarantee you will love her!

Even though I have not yet received my wedding photos, I have seen our engagement photos and feel I can provide enough of a review based on that. Darlene is so easy to get along with - her personality definitely puts you at ease. She was more than willing to negotiate her package. She provides hi-res photos, and gives you 4x6 prints of all your proofs in archival boxes which was a real selling point for me. At the wedding she and her assistant photographer were very unassuming - I couldn't tell they were around during the actual wedding. She isn't a big lover of formal photos, but if you want them she will do them! She was recommended to us by a friend and our friend just got her wedding photos and was in love with them. Our engagement photos were gorgeous.
