Julia is absolutely, hands down, everything I could have dreamed for a photographer. The photos on her website are what initially drew me in - she has an eye for detail and an ability to create the perfect shot without looking like an exact replica of someone else's photos. After contacting her, I realized she would be the perfect fit for us! She is warm, welcoming and personable, which is incredibly important if you're like me and get completely awkward in front of a camera. The day of our wedding, she was professional and flexible. We had a downpour change our entire plans and she went above and beyond, changing things on a dime and working with vendors, to make sure we were still able to get all the amazing shots. I appreciated that before she left, she asked if there were any specific shots I may want that I hadn't though of (I never gave a shot list - I trusted her THAT much). Because of that, I was able to get some great group shots of my groom and his friends that I had not thought about prior to the wedding day. Once we received our photos, I was over the moon. She caught countless moments I wasn't aware of and her ability to capture the true, raw emotions is priceless. I absolutely treasure our wedding photos. Julia has not only shot our wedding and engagement photos, but I love her so much, I've done two other shoots with her as well - and those won't be the last!

Julia was everything we could have dreamed for our wedding photographer to be and more! I couldn’t be more happier!!! I had wanted Julia to be our photographer from day 1. There’s no reason you should hire her and her team. All of our photos came out beautiful! We chose Darling Juliet to capture our engagement and wedding photos and we did not regret it! Julia is very easy to work with and seems to be a positive, cheery person overall which makes the photography sessions fun as well. She has an eye for detail and likes to capture the little parts of your wedding that that you'll easily miss out on enjoying or remembering after the whirlwind of your wedding day has come and gone so quickly. My husband and I didn't have a lot of practice being the ones in front of the camera for once but that did not matter. Julia does a wonderful job of making you feel relaxed, confident, and comfortable. It took over a month to get our engagement photos back and just over 3 months to get our wedding photos. We did think the wait was a little long but we were certainly happy with the overall product. Julia is an artist and you WON'T be disappointed if you choose her for any of your photography needs.

Julia was a godsend for my Nashville elopement! We traveled from out of town and were stricken with panic when we arrived at the courthouse for our ceremony - it was essentially a construction site with very little space for photos. Julia is a miracle worker and we ended up with the most stunning photos to share with our family and friends. You would never know by looking at our photos that we were standing where the city employees take their cigarette breaks. I have been a big fan of Julia’s work for many years so when the time came to pick a photographer for my husband and I’s wedding, I didn’t consider anyone else. Julia is a pro. Despite my husband’s discomfort with being photographed and never having been in front of the lens myself, Julia directed and posed us to get great photos of our day that will last forever. Weddings are crazy and Julia was super helpful in getting us through it. When so much is going on and you can lose track of time, it is nice to just be told what to do. For example, Julia reminded me when we were getting close to the time I needed to be ready and she drove me to our first look location to make sure I stayed hidden! The edits were beautiful and the timeline in which we got our photos back was as expected. We would not change a thing.

Before the wedding she was so helpful in setting up a day-of timeline, helping me figure out what sort of photos I wanted and whether we should do a first look, and planning for the different lighting since the sun was setting during our ceremony. We got Boudoir and Wedding contract, and received very nice discount for my Boudoir, which was so kind of Julia. When I saw Julia 2 days before the wedding I understood it is an artist, not only photographer. She made my boudoir session very comfortable and cosy even it was my first experience. The weather on the day of our wedding was crazy - it was sunny and rainy, windy and not. But Julia did everything quick, professionally and we felt so happy with everything she made us do. Next day I saw our preview made of 6 photos and just fell in love with it. It is so good when you can see the result, and it is also made me comfortable with waiting the rest of the photos, because I had smth to show to my friends and family. When we got all our photos and started our slideshow I was nearly to cry - I was so happy, I felt like I came back to my best day, like I was there again! The first year of any marriage is a special one that requires care, attention, love, and a little something special to top of the beautiful bond you share with your now husband. I wanted to do something extra special for my Mr. and hired Julia to capture elegant and intimate boudoir portraits of me in some of the lingerie my bridesmaids gifted me at the bachelorette party. Upon arrival, hair & makeup was applied and I loved the look that the makeup artist she teamed up with gave me. I felt beautiful! What she captured celebrated and my curves and highlighted my personality to a T. I'm a photographer who is admittedly quite critical of the way others photograph me, but in looking through just the proofs I'm left feeling like I'll never go to anyone else for pictures. We hired Julia more than a year before our wedding. About 6 months before the wedding, Julia told us she was 3 months pregnant! She was really sweet in letting us know and told us we could cancel the contract with a full refund if we weren't comfortable with our photographer being so far along in her pregnancy during our wedding. Once we established that she was definitely willing to continue as planned if we were, we were fine with it. We did an engagement session with her that was a lot of fun. On the day of the wedding, Julia and Hannah were there with us all day. They were both really fun and awesome! Julia was such a trooper, and didn't complain for a second. She got our pictures edited and back to us in less than 3 weeks! They are stunning. We are so thrilled with all of them. We used Darling Juliet for our October 31st wedding and it was the best decision we made. From the time we booked Julia answered all our emails and questions and kept in contact with us. She even went as far as to meet us at our venue a few weeks before our big day. On the wedding day she was on time and extremely professional. I'm a bit more reserved and wasn't as comfortable infront of the camera and Julia helped walk me through it with the ease and grace of a seasoned professional. Julia was wonderful to work with at our wedding in Delray Beach this March. I am enjoying looking through my photo CD finding wonderful pictures of myself and the family. Julia was especially great at unobtrusively snapping photos without interrupting the natural flow of the wedding day events. I am thrilled especially with many of the portraits she shot that day of not just me but everyone at the wedding. Her personality is so sweet she immediately befriended my step daughters as well as my mother and best friend, making her presence while we were getting dressed natural. Even at the end of a long day she was great fun to take our silly get away pictures with, many that my husband and I adore. I am thrilled to have a full digital set of the images that I can build into a photo book and edit at will, something many photographers are not happy to give. In just a few hours she produced over 500 great photos of our wonderful day. I can’t thank her enough.

I've worked with Julia on numerous occasions at weddings and engagement shoots as a videographer. After seeing how professional and talented she is, we couldn't have imagined going with any other photographer when we were looking to get anniversary photos. She is so talented and creative on site, ready to pose us but always making sure we looked as natural as possible. Julia did such a fantastic job on our wedding photography. For my husband and me, finding the right photographer was top priority. Hello Everyone! I used Julia as my wedding photographer and I want to say she was amazing! I found she was very pleasant, extremely helpful and willingly to make the process as easy as possible (which is a great thing for a stressed out bride). The day of the wedding she arrived promptly on time and went to work. She worked very hard and stayed until the groom and I left the reception.
