Chris shot our engagement and wedding in 2014 in Southern California. After interviewing a few photographers, and looking at their work, Chris matched what we had envisioned. He li...
stened and understood the types of moments we wanted captured. Chris was passionate, professional, easy to work with, and had creative and awesome photo ideas. More importantly, he helped my husband and I feel comfortable and relaxed. We did not want stiff, posed photos and Chris did a great job at directing us, making us laugh and feel at ease.
Awesome job and thank you for all the wonderful moments you captured for us!
Chris was amazing for our wedding! From the moment we met him he made us feel extremely comfortable which made for awesome photos for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. He ...
even helped us pick areas for our shoots that we never would've thought to use. Even when the weather was terrible he still made it happen and the pictures looked as if the weather was perfect. We would highly recommend him for any occasion.
Chris came highly recommended to us from a friend from work. After meeting with him, my husband and I knew we would work well with him. He showed us some of his work and that seale...
d the deal. We had both our engagement shots and wedding photos done by him. Chris was very accommodating with our engagement shoot as we had to reschedule a couple times. He had great ideas on where the best pictures would turn out with the lighting/backgrounds and we loved the final shots. After taking those photos, we knew he would take great photos on our wedding day and that he would be easy to work with.
Chris was responsive to all of my emails leading up to the wedding. He even met up with me prior to our big day and we walked around looking for the best places near my venue for our first look, group shots, and family shots. On our wedding day, Chris was very professional. He kept me relaxed and was able to get every shot that I wanted and then some prior to the wedding start. Throughout the night he was present and worked so hard to get the best shots but wasn't occupying all of our time. He allowed us to enjoy our guests and stole us away for just a brief time to get some couple's photos. The final photos were AMAZING. I have looked thorough them many times and am perplexed on how I will be able to select the perfect ones for my album since there are so many to choose from.
We hired Darnall Photography for our wedding after we did our engagement photos with them. We were blown out of the water with the shots he captured. He had great suggestions for...
places to take the photographs, had a great eye, and he not only got great posed pictures but captured a lot of great candid photos. Chris was very easy to work with, quick to respond to my emails , and a very nice guy. I've been to weddings where the photographers had no personality, and were just demanding. Chris was the opposite, he was still able to get the shots we wanted, but also allowed us to have fun in the process. A definite perk!
Chris is a great photographer to work with, and he produced fantastic photos for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. He was very accommodating of our availability limitatio...
ns (we live out of state) and very responsive to my frequent email communications. He also kept our preferred photography style in mind (which was already generally in line with his own style). We are very happy with the results and would definitely use him again.

relax and enjoy your day. My husband absolutely hates getting his picture taken, as I'm sure most men do, but Chris was able to capture him smiling and that is not an easy task! We chose him for his artistic eye, but he really listened to our vision. We got all the traditional shots we wanted and then some with unique twists. The candid shots were awesome - the love and happiness was definitely captured.
He was willing to be flexible with us and went above and beyond on both shoots to capture what we wanted till the very end. Also, very good at communicating and responding throughout the whole process. A lot of vendors are hard to reach unless it's the week of your wedding but he was always responsive and that really helps a bride stay calm. Overall it was a pleasure working with him and I am so pleased looking at our photos and reliving the wonderful day. We are so thankful!
Chris was awesome to work with. As most people realize, it's a struggle to fins a great photography. So many choices, and so many hours of looking at every photographer's best phot...
os. Once we met with Chris and saw some of the samples, we knew he was going to be our photographer. The angles and photo effects he used were outstanding. And if having amazing pictures wasn't enough, Chris was very friendly and accommodating. This wasn't just during the wedding but also in each of our meetings, and during our engagement shoot. If you haven't talked to and reviewed Darnall Photography, we highly recommend them!

re so pleased with the results. He showed up on time and got started, after that he did his thing and we didn't notice him or his assistant which was a pleasant surprise. The results are beautiful, we couldn't be more pleased.

choose from. He is very artistic and fun to work with. He has the ability to do creative and unique shots, while getting the traditional ones as well. Having his assistant at the wedding was a major plus as she was able to get shots of every little detail we had. Thanks for making our wedding day great!
Chris has been so helpful from day one. Without a doubt, we knew he was going to be our wedding photographer just by his personality and the quality of his pictures. And we were no...
t wrong! We did our engagement session in less than 90 minutes and boy did he work his magic! Everyone loved our pictures!!! On our big day, Chris and Ashley were everywhere taking care of business. hairs to get the perfect photo that captured the moment. This is what I wanted in a photographer plus I also wanted at least two photographers there to capture things the other might have missed. Darnall photography ended up being our choice and it was a fantastic one at that! They have been very good about communication and feedback and have gone above and beyond what a bride could ever expect! Very satisfied customer! :)
I checked out quite a few photographers, sat down and talked with them, looked at what their packages offered and weighed it against cost... and by far, Chris Darnall had the BEST ...
package. It just includes everything a bride would really want and need, nothing extra tacked on, just perfect. Chris was very easy to work with as well, with a great friendly attitude which totally helped my husband (fiance at the time) since he's not used to taking photos and he was totally nervous for out first set of engagement photos! The instant I saw the engagement photos come back I knew the wedding photos were going to turn out amazing - and yup they definitely did :) Thanks Chris I love my album~

en Chris showed up to my bridal suite with his 2nd photographer and started shooting away! We immediately clicked and they both made me very comfortable taking pictures (not my norm!) He is very creative and see's things out of nothing to create an amazing shot.
He was very patient while he was trying to take pictures and all my guest where trying to do the same with their camera phones!!
He was on time, stayed till the end with a smile.... I've already referred him to my neighbor and plan on spreading the word where I can!!
You would be lucky if he has availability on your special day to capture the moment!

ng planners the day of our wedding and we felt as though things went absolutely perfect. The struggle was going through all of the photos and having to pick out the ones that we like the most for our album. Once we reviewed the album sample that he had sent us and approved it, we received our album in a very timely manner. Our Album looked fantastic and we could not have been happier with the way all the photos and moments were captured.

would definitely go with Chris! I loved all the pictures that Chris had on his website, on his blog, and on his Facebook page, and when I e-mailed Chris for prices, I knew I had to go with Chris. I couldn't believe the price for the quality of the pictures! Not only are Chris's photos great but Chris is also professional and responsive. He answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of questions. I would definitely recommend Chris!
My husband and I knew within ten minutes of meeting Chris and seeing his work he HAD to be our wedding photographer. He is an awesome, down-to-earth guy with an eye for incredible ...
shots and an amazing ability to catch candid, special moments. We had a great time at our engagement picture session and the photos are fantastic! Our wedding pictures are phenomenal- Chris truly captured all of the special details and moments with each other and our loved ones. We could not have been happier with our choice in photographer and will cherish the beautiful engagement and wedding pictures he took forever.
Chris did a tremendous job at our wedding. He mixed up traditional shots with creative pictures (ex: my shoes, my husband playing pool with his groomsmen) and we love the digital s...
hots and hard copies that we ended up with after our big day (and so do our families)! He is personable, prompt, responsive, and an all-around great guy. Plus, he is a great value, especially considering that he works in Southern California. Our main problem was dragging our feet with ordering the photos, which then made the process more difficult. As long as you're ready to be quick with ordering the pictures, I would recommend him to any of my friends getting married in the area.
My fiance had most of the wedding planning done within 2 weeks of our engagement. It was my job to find the photographer. I do landscape photography as a hobby so I thought it woul...
d be difficult to find one up to my standards within our budget...I scoured the knot searching website after website. Once I saw Darnall Photography's quality work I was hooked! We met with Chris and hit it off right away. He's a like-able guy with a great personality. But of course the most important factor are the pics... We got our engagement pictures back and I'm blown away at the top notch job he did! My fiance and I both agree he needs to increase his pricing for the quality of work Darnall Photography provides so book him now before he raises the pricing!
I booked Chris after searching many photographers online and I loved the moments he captured. When we spoke online, I knew he was the one. He was fun and pleasant and it was like t...
alking to a friend. When we met and I got to see more of the photos he took, I was sold! The communication was fantastic. He was glad to answer all of my questions even when I was being a wee bit of a pest. On our wedding, he was so easy to work worth with. At times, I didn't even notice he was there. What pleased me the most is that my husband enjoyed him, which is a rarity. My husband doesn't enjoy too many people :) In conclusion, Chris knows what he's doing! He is so much fun to work with and he will be my photographer for all of my special occasions!
Chris made our day sooooo special! We hired him for our engagement photos, vietnamese traditional ceremony, and wedding day.

r that definitely delivered what he promised (and much more) in the end. He made us feel comfortable, worked well with all of our other vendors, and he was flexible with our needs.
What we love about Chris is that he has such an amazing vision when he takes pictures. All of our pictures captured the joy and happiness in our faces and the faces of all our loved ones. Looking at these pictures just brings back the feelings that we had that day, and it's because of Chris. We love that he was able to capture those GREAT candid moments.
He's such a wonderful individual to work with, and he's very responsive. At the end of the day, all you really have left are your pictures and your wedding film. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to capture the emotions of your special day. Go with Chris! The pictures speak for themselves.

as the website had pricing, and I was very curious at that point because he had affordable prices! When my husband and I met Chris he was so nice and came across very professional.through the time of hiring him and our actual wedding date we came across some complications with location and wedding date. Chris and his team were beyond helpful and accommodating. The day of our wedding was chaos since it was all outdoors and it was raining! However even though there was rain and hale and nothing went as scheduled I am very happy with how my pictures were handled. I will hire Darnall Photography again for future projects and would refer him to everyone.
On the day of my wedding it was raining but Chris Darnall didn't let that stop him. He got some amazing pictures and made us look amazing in the rain. He did everything I asked and...
soo much more!! He is worth every penny!! Most of the time I didn't even see him he blended in so well and all of my guests were very impressed with how well he did his job. I am truly satisfied with him and I haven't even gotten all my pics yet!! I just know they will look great!!
