I highly recommend Darrell Ward Designs for any floral needs you may have in the DFW metroplex. He was able to work within our budget and deliver absolutely stunning florals that added breathtaking details to our day. We contracted Darrell after he was recommended by the church that we were to be wed in-- he was very personable and was able to bring the concepts that we had for our florals to life. About a month before the wedding, Darrell took me to a flower market in Dallas to see the flowers he would be ordering and I am so glad he did that to reassure me as a bride that the florals would be exactly what we wanted. We appreciate the advice he gave along the way, and the pleasant phone calls we had to catch up on wedding and life. We are very thankful and highly recommend!

While writing this review, I have so much trouble summarizing Darrell's perfection. Everything you need and want from a florist is what Darrell is; and then some! He not only made our day special, he became a lifelong friend. Darrell goes above and beyond for his brides! His communication is outstanding, he is punctual and attentive to detail, and out of this world creative. I love him so much and cannot thank him enough for all he has done for us!

Look no further, Darrell is who you want to use as your wedding florist. The flowers will be the most gorgeous you will ever see. He will treat you like a loved family member, and pays attention to every detail! Darrell truly wants everything to be perfect, and exactly what you want. He will work to make it the most beautiful event! He has done the flowers for my wedding, my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary, my 1st son, and most recently my 2nd son's rehearsal dinner and wedding. Darrell Ward Designs is ALWAYS the best choice for flowers!

Darrell will become the best friend you didn't know you needed in this crazy, time-consuming process. He truly has the best eye for what you want and what is in season, fresh, and lovely. He is so kind, flexible, honest, and just such a dear person who will always check in on you to make sure planning isn't overwhelming or frustrating.

Darrell was so wonderful to work with. He felt like a friend throughout this process, and really listened to my desires and concerns. AND MAN DID HE DELIVER!! He nailed every aspect of the floral vision I had. He made a beautiful spray for the ceremony cross that transitioned to a big table spray for our head table. My bridal bouquet was beyond perfect--he even added some orchids from his personal garden! Darrell loves what he does, and his passion is evident in his attitude and beautiful work. He also works with your budget and helps get the best bang for your buck. Darrell is just the best!!

Darrell was incredible to work with and not only worked within my budget, but gave me EXACTLY what I had wanted and dreamed of! He is great about keeping you informed, and keeping up with you along the way. He was so much fun to work with and I felt like we had been friends forever! One of my wedding dreams was to have a gorgeous arch with floral decor, and even though I got married on a rooftop, he made sure that I still got the arch of my dreams!!! You can not go wrong with Darrell Ward designs! He will be sure to go above and beyond to ensure your wedding flowers are what you wanted and more!!!

Darrell was perfect! I was recommended to him by a mutual friend and I have absolutely no regrets. He made my day look so beautiful, I actually cried when I got to the venue and saw how beautiful everything was. When we first met Darrell, he asked what kind of budget we were working with and even though it was low, he stayed within budget and chose things that went together and looked perfect. I highly recommend giving him a call, he is the sweetest thing ever too! Thank you again Darrell!

When our daughter got married 10 years ago – Darrell Ward was highly recommended by my wife’s co-worker –in fact the co-worker insisted we hire him. It was definitely one of the best wedding decisions we made. Darrell was so much fun and his work was very creative and top notch. When our son got engaged 10 years later --- we called Darrell immediately to identity his availability before we decided on the date, venue and every other vendor. Darrell was our first decision. THAT is how important he was to us and the success of our son’s wedding. Darrell and his team make you feel like yours is the only event on the planet. From the first time you meet him – you will see why he is in such demand and does virtually no marketing. He doesn’t have to. When Darrell says he is “so excited!” for your wedding he means it. He is extremely creative and is always respectful of your budget. His goal is to not just provide you with beautiful flowers – but provide you with an exceptional experience. Our son’s wedding was a huge success – due largely to Darrell’s cheerful, enthusiastic attitude, customer service, attention to detail and beautiful flowers. The entire wedding party wants to hire him for their weddings and guest after guest commented on his exceptional work and how much fun he was to interact with. Wedding planning can be stressful and overwhelming. Hire Darrell --- and your experience and the end result will exceed your expectations.

Darrell has to be the BEST florist in the city! He did the flowers for both of my daughter's weddings - one three years ago and one last month. People STILL talk about the beautiful flowers from the first wedding!! And I'm sure they will with the most recent wedding too. Darrell loves flowers, has a great eye, and puts together exactly what a bride pictures in her mind. He has many flowers to choose from, goes out of the way to make perfectly gorgeous bouquets, arrangements, and displays, and his prices are so very reasonable. I can't recommend him high enough - I'd give him 10 stars if I could! You could not find a more fun, honest, and likable florist!

Darrell was so amazing! He really took the time to figure out exactly what I wanted with my florals and went above and beyond to make sure I was good with everything else (planning wise). He calls to just chat and see how you are doing and if there was anything he could help with or to just give an update on the arrangements. I would definitely recommend Darrell, he will make your wedding beautiful...oh and the bouquets were amazing!!

Darrell is absolutely amazing! I can't recommend him highly enough. Super responsive and creative and just a joy to work with. All of the arrangments and the arch were absolutely stunning. My bouquet was breathtaking. He was fantastic about working with our budget and did such a spectacular job that it looked like we spent at least double our budget. Everyone at the wedding raved about the centerpieces and arch. He is so talented and just an amazing person. Wedding planning is a beating but I enjoyed every second working with Darrell. You will be so happy you chose him.

Where do I even begin when talking about Darrell?! He went above and beyond my expectations for the flowers at my wedding. As he would tell you, I was extremely nervous about the flowers. I had a vision in my head and I needed to see it come to fruition. With that being said, Darrell met with me MULTIPLE times without question. He brought me to the flower market to pick out my flowers to make sure that I was getting the prettiest flowers for the best price. My flower budget was not very big, but you would have never known that if you attended my wedding. Darrell was very responsive, professional, fun, everything. When I got to the venue the day of my wedding and saw my flowers, I started to cry! He literally took the picture out of my head and brought it to life. I am so incredibly thankful for Darrell and would recommend him all day, everyday.

Hiring Darrell was the best decision I made!!! From the beginning he was extremely professional, and made me feel comfortable with every decision. He is great about sticking to your budget! He was my florist and wedding day coordinator. He was always in communication with me in regards to the wedding and decor. The day of the wedding went absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a more smoothly run wedding. We had more guests arrive than expected at the reception, and he was super flexible and worked quickly to get another table set up for dinner. All the decorations and floral arrangements, from the bouquets to the centerpieces, were stunning!! When I walked into the ballroom it was absolutely more beautiful than I envisioned it. Darrell is super easy to get in contact with, and is extremely helpful in planning. He has great ideas and is so helpful in keeping you calm and as stress free as possible. I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

We found Darrell through word of mouth. He intentionally does not pay for advertising and doesn't have a main shop, which allows him to charge you less than some of the other florists. We met twice before the wedding, but he called me multiple times just to let me know how things were going and was more than willing to meet more times if needed. You feel as if you've known Darrell forever the moment you meet him. He was very understanding of our desire to keep costs in line and came up with great ideas to help (ie, my bridesmaid's bouquets doubled as some of the centerpieces and it was stunning!). On the day of the wedding, Darrell was there doing the finishing touches and just to make sure that I was happy, which I most definitely was! He had everything set out and even talked with people in the wedding party to ensure that they knew what to do, how to wear the boutonnieres, etc. Honestly, he transformed the ceremony room, which is normally used as a conference room. By the time Darrell was finished with it, you couldn't even picture how it used to look! I am so so pleased with my experience with Darrell Ward Designs and I will be telling everyone that I know about him!

Darrell is great! For our initial consult meeting, he took us to the Flower Mart, which allowed us to group various flowers together and see how the arrangements would actually look, as opposed to just seeing past work through photos. He stayed in constant communication leading up to our wedding day, and even called to tell us when a particular flower selection didn't arrive in with full beauty, allowing us to make a change, just to be sure that we would not be disappointed with the final outcome. We so appreciated his honesty and the wedding day arrangements were better than we even envisioned!

Darrell Ward not only provided stunning fresh flowers that looked spectacular and made our reception site smell wonderful; he is a delightful person. He was also right hand man to our wedding planner on the day of our wedding, both calming my highly excited mother and me while keeping a smile on everyone's faces and reminding us to have fun. I used him again for arrangements for my grandmother's funeral and he again did beautiful work on extremely short notice around his very full schedule. I am pleased to offer him my highest recommendation.

From the moment I met Darrell I knew he was a keeper. He was referred to me by a friend and thank goodness he was.:) He's so passionate about what he does and it definitely shows in his work! He was reliable, honest, hard working, and so much fun to work with! He was always such a joy. The day of my wedding he didn't just deliver, he DELIVERED. :) I was so extremely pleased with everything and my bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. I don't normally have expectations, but if I did, he went above and beyond. He is extremely accommodating and was always there to make sure I was happy with everything. Darrell Ward did an amazing job on the flowers for my wedding. I would highly recommend him to any bride. He will go the extra mile to make sure your wedding flowers look amazing. Very responsive and punctual. He even texted me pictures of the flowers the night before the wedding so I could get a sneak peak of how awesome they would be. Received tons of compliments on how great the centerpieces looked. My bouquet was everything I wanted, and it looked great in the pictures. Would highly recommend Darrell to other brides! Darrell is not only amazing at what he does, but he has a great personality as well. Very fun to work with!

Darrell is the most fun vendor i worked with through out my wedding planning. He made me feel i could call him for anything, even if it didn't concern flowers. I knew that if anything at all went wrong he would take care of it for me. He often called just to see how i was doing. He is by far the best at what he does, he is at a totally different caliber than all other florist i reviewed. Its fun to meet him at the flower market in Dallas, as it allows you to see all the flowers and colors available to you. He worked with my budget and made it look and feel like we had more than what we paid. His designs were exactly what i envisioned even though i was horrible at explaining my ideas, he still know what i was talking about! He is creative and innovative and uses great, unexpected flower combos. I would recommend Darrell to anyone for any of their floral needs and plan on using him in the future myself. Thanks Darrell!

Darrell was absolutely amazing! I'm not very into flowers and just had a general "vision" of what I wanted. We talked about the basics in our first meeting, and I gave him a photo of one bouquet I liked...he took it from there, and everything looked JUST how I had imagined, only even better!! When I saw the room set up for the first time, it took my breath away! And, he did it all within a very reasonable budget...I never imagined he would be able to do so much with what we spent. He included gorgeous flowers from his own garden in my bouquet that were like nothing I'd ever seen, and they added just the perfect touch. The amazing flowers are really the tip of the iceberg, too - Darrell also served as our "day of" coordinator and helped with our rehearsal and wedding day, and he really went above and beyond! He made sure everything flowed perfectly, and he was very attentive to our families and made sure they always had whatever they needed. We really could not have asked for anything more, and I don't know what we would have done without him! Of course, I would highly recommend Darrell to anyone - I just can't say enough good things about him!!

I would recommend Darrell to any Bride for her wedding and I will use Darrell in the future for my floral needs. He is professional, enthusiastic, and very creative. He is also able to work with any budget. I can't say enough good things about Darrell. He really captured the vision I had for my ceremony and reception in his arrangements. He kept in touch with me throughout my wedding planning process and built a portfolio of the type of arrangements that I liked so that the month before the wedding he knew exactly what I wanted. Also, by my wedding day I felt like we were great friends. He really cares about his brides and goes over and beyond your expectations. He used flowers from his own garden in my arrangements to make it that much more special. When my reception site closed 3 months before the wedding, he pulled out all stops to find me replacements that ended up working out even better than what I had originally planned. He'll go the distance for you.
