t the best energy and had the dance floor packed all night long. For the last hour of the set, DART brought a horns section to amp up the energy even more. Cory took requests, abided by our do not play list and took liberties which enhanced the party. When we were looking for a DJ, we were seeking one that was not a classic “cheesy” wedding DJ. We wanted a cool, indie vibe that fit with our guests and own style. DART met that criteria well. They have a really beautiful setup with classic looking turntables, which was an added bonus. Working with DART over the past year was simple and zero stress. Would 100% recommend them to others and look forward to the next DART party we get to attend.

I had my heart set on a specific song to walk down the aisle to, and because Dart is a network of musicians, Alan our acoustic guitarist learned the song for our wedding. The saxophonist and our DJ Sterling were also fantastic and set a fun and dancey atmosphere for our guests - which is what we hoped for!

We knew it was the right partnership when Ben and us started talking and were totally on the same wavelength of music, you could tell he was actually going to enjoy and have fun with the songs we wanted to play. He had an amazing showmanship and brought great energy to the crowd. Lastly, but also importantly, their sound system setup was of utmost professionalism and quality. They mic'd up our officiant and the groom so that everyone could hear the ceremony as well as set up the mic perfectly for speeches so that everything went off without a hitch. I love their whole portfolio and only hope to go to more weddings and events where Dart Collective is at, because it's guaranteed to be a groovy time. If music is an important part of your wedding (and honestly, it should be!) book Dart Collective.

. He was communicative, professional, and caring. From a logistics / vendor management perspective, they were great to work with. On the wedding day, their performance started out a little lackluster. The sound was a little quiet and the songs lacked some energy. However, we gave them this feedback and they immediately changed, and the rest of the evening was amazing. The dance floor was the most important part of our wedding, so we were really happy they brought the energy after the feedback! We learned later on that this was actually their first performance as a group which could have explained the slower start. Overall, they are a highly talented bunch and I think once they get their mojo together will be as good as the west coast groups.

ning process and Sterling was a fantastic DJ the night of - from setup to MC’ing to custom mixing to tear down. They provide a guideline ‘music map’ which you can get as detailed or as general as you would like. We took a more detailed route and they truly seemed exciting about making all of our ideas happen. They helped us splice together favorite songs and even gave my husband (a big Taylor Swift fan) his own Taylor mashup. No one left the dance floor all night! We can’t thank Sterling, Santi, and Dart Collective enough!

We felt like he and his team took the time to learn about us as a couple and get a good understanding of the vibe we wanted to create. They set us up for success by collecting some key music preferences but our ask to them was to do their job the way they saw best and WOW they killed it. Our dance floor was full the entire night without any props just people having a good time. We had the party of our lives with all of our friends and family and are so grateful to the Dart team for making that a reality. On site, we had Cory as our lead DJ and he went above and beyond to ensure we had the party of our dreams. We also booked a saxophone player through Dart for our cocktail hour which was a blast!! My only regret was not keeping her to play on the dance floor later in the night as well. She crushed hot and helped set the tone for the party early. I couldn’t speak more highly about our experience with the Dart team and couldn’t recommend them more! You won’t be disappointed.

We originally wanted to do a live band but when we found the DJ with live musicians, it was a perfect combination of the live component we were looking for and the variety that comes with booking a DJ. Santi helped us tremendously with the planning and gave us great recommendations for other vendors for our event. He was always quick to respond to our questions and patient when we were indecisive. We were sent a 'music map' to fill out before the wedding which helped guide our DJ, Cory, with the music we would like to be played. Cory did a great job of playing the music we wanted to hear and there was never a moment that the dance floor was empty! We had a saxophone and trumpet in addition to our DJ and our guests loved the live music addition! Working with Dart was one of the best decisions we made planning our wedding and we would highly recommend booking them for an unforgettable experience!

I’m so glad the other DJ wasn’t available, because Dart Collective more than exceeded expectations and were the life and heartbeat of the party! Guests are still raving about them, too. You’ll notice a difference over other DJ’s from your first contact - Santi was awesome. He was prompt in communicating with us, and remained easily accessible throughout the year. About a month before the wedding, the serious planning started to kick into gear and we all met over zoom with Santi and our DJ for the night (Brett) to go over all the little details for each areas that needed specific music. On the day of, Brett and Monica arrived early and started setting up. We hired a DJ + package with live drums and a saxophone player. TOTALLY worth the extra cost to have them there - I honestly think it was better than having a live band - the DJ’s rocked it, and the live music made the entire place ROCK & ROLL. Even all the grandma’s were on the dance floor! So, if you’re after the best DJ for your event - stop looking around and give these guys a call! You won’t be disappointed.

Dart was delightful to work with and even quickly and seamlessly covered a little snag before our wedding day when our assigned DJ fell ill. The speakers were very loud during dinner but that was the only day-of issue, and it was quickly resolved. The dance floor was always packed and the mostly stuck with our playlist requests (though I didn't hear some of the "musts" we asked for and instead they chose some easy crowd pleaser). All in all, it was an electric night and we would book them again, every time!

Our whole wedding was centered around music, and with all of our guests traveling from out of state, we wanted to give them the absolute best time. It was a party from start to finish! From creating fun, untraditional moments down the aisle, to the grooviest cocktail hour, followed by a special remixed first dance song and surprise saxophone player appearance, right into a dance party that would make a Daft Punk concert jealous - THANK YOU. Santi was amazing to work with and helped execute all my wild ideas while offering great direction from his own expertise, and our DJ Cory truly brought down the house! All of our guests from "music snobs" to "reception traditionalists" commented on how great the music and overall experience was. I truly couldn't imagine booking anyone else - their DJs have the most stylish setups, their song transitions are both thoughtful and flawless, and they know what it takes to make the most memorable event from emotional entrance to down and dirty dance party. And, if you want to incorporate a live element (who wouldn't?!) they've got the talent you need. We had so many incredible moments, but our guests could not stop talking about the saxophone player making a grand surprise entrance during our first dance song, which immediately got everyone on the dance floor grooving along with us. As a planner with high standards, I SO appreciate the attention to detail their team provided as they brought our dream day to life. I just wish we could do it all over again!!!

Friends and family kept commenting days later on how much fun the dance party was, and we owe much of that to Dart Collective. We are actively looking for any excuse we can come up with to hire them again!
