We were absolutely THRILLED to work with Dart. I have to start out by shouting out Kate who was SO fast in her response times and just had a really great vibe throughout the whole ...
process. She was super organized and supportive, we really felt like she put in an intentional effort to make sure our day turned out exactly as we were envisioning so a huge kudos to her.
Our DJ, Andrew, was AMAZING. I had my husband come up to me multiple times throughout the night just to say "Andrew is absolutely crushing it!!" -- I couldn't concur more. All of our musical cues were executed flawlessly. We love how he evolved the dance floor over the course of the night, it really perfectly matched the energy and kept people stoked. His energy was awesome and super positive, both leading up to the event and on the day. All of my friends are big dancers and everyone said they truly had the time of their lives on the dance floor (can also concur with feeling this way!). Also, the actual set-up of Andrew's DJ station looked SO great on our venue's stage. We loved the aesthetic, so fun that he had some records up there with him. This level of attention to detail was not lost on us! We would work with Dart (and Andrew!) again in a heartbeat.
What an amazing experience it was working with Dart DJ, more specifically Charlie our DJ in San Diego. He perfectly captured our music style , had amazing transitions and brought s...
o much energy to the dance floor. It was so important to us to have not just a wedding DJ but a good DJ and his set blew our minds. Every guest has been talking about the music being their favorite part of the evening ! Thanks for making my wedding perfect and for such a fun evening !
The team at dart is utterly fabulous from Marco & Sam to Ashley (our DJ) and the musicians we had a wonderful experience from start to finish! Professional, creative & fun we can’t...
wait for another excuse to work with them again and would 10/10 recommend them to anyone!
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Dart Collective and The Half Moons. From the planning process all the way through the wedding night, the entire Dart Collective team...
was incredible to work with. They were organized, responsive, thoughtful, and made the whole process feel so seamless. We always felt like we were in great hands, and everything was executed perfectly on the day of our wedding.
We chose The Half Moons as our band, and they were hands down one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. Even months later, we still have friends and family telling us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. From the moment they started playing, the energy was incredible and the dance floor was packed all night. They knew exactly how to read the room and keep everyone dancing, and every single member of the band is insanely talented.
One of the things we loved most was that they never felt like a typical “wedding band.” They just felt like an amazing live band that happened to be playing at our wedding. The music and energy were such a huge part of what made the night feel so special and so much fun.

We had very high expectations going into our wedding, and Dart Collective and The Half Moons somehow exceeded all of them. We feel so lucky that they were part of our wedding and truly couldn’t recommend them more!
Dart Collective was incredible from start to finish. They really listened to us, understood our taste, and completely got the vibe we wanted for the day. Their Music Map was such a...
great tool—it made it so easy to share songs and ideas throughout the planning process without having to build one giant playlist.
They were also amazingly flexible, accommodating last-minute music changes and in-the-moment requests without missing a beat. And on the day itself, they absolutely nailed it. The music created the atmosphere we wanted from beginning to end and was such a huge part of what made the day feel so fun, personal, and memorable.
Plus, the vinyl setup brought an extra cool factor that we loved. If you care about the music at your wedding and want a DJ who will actually understand your taste rather than just play a standard wedding playlist, we can’t recommend Dart enough!
We used Dart Collective for our wedding and can’t recommend them highly enough! We had a DJ (Alexi) plus 3 instrumentalists - sax, trumpet, and drums, and it created the perfect mi...
x of song-list flexibility that a DJ offers paired with the energy of a live band. Dart was extremely professional and responsive throughout the planning process – Andrew was a very helpful advisor as we thought about which package to go with, and honed our music selections for the different portions of our wedding. So many guests said that the reception music / dancing was the best they’ve ever experienced at a wedding! As a queer couple, we wanted a mix of standard wedding oldies and gay club anthems, and Dart fully delivered on both fronts!
Honestly had such a terrific experience using Dart! The initial meetings were really informative and professional. And Dart's vibe is just so cool! They made the music selection pr...
ocess super easy, and selected the perfect DJ for us. I loved our account rep, she was so communicative and thorough and helpful through the whole process! Phil, our DJ hit every single cue all night, and the dance floor was packed. So many people have told us how great the music was. He nailed it. Perfect blend of our must plays and a curated selection of songs knew would hit. Had an incredible time with Dart!

ant to have a typical corporate wedding band, and I heard about these guys through a friend. After I reached out to them, we scheduled a Zoom call, and they were very thoughtful about curating a musical journey for us. They asked a lot of questions about what type of vibe we’re going for what kind of music we like, and they made recommendations from their catalog of bands and DJs based on our feedback. we ended up hiring The Shrines, and we couldn’t be more pleased. They were extremely talented musicians, the sound quality was perfect, and the playlist allowed us to go a lot of different directions, from eclectic Indie rock to pop, to yacht rock, R&B, disco, you name it. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the band, and even people on the beach were dancing. Would 200% recommend. 10,000 stars.
We had the best time at our weddding with our DJ Jenna!! Ruby was so helpful coordinating and the whole team was absolutely amazing through every step of the process!! We recommend...
their services to anyone we can!! <3 The vibes were amazing and I danced my little heart away all night long! The cues and flow worked perfectly and the price was SO reasonable! I loved the DJ map and felt so supported, seen, valued and important through the entire process and wedding! We have such an eclectic taste of music with a wide range of ages at the 260 person wedding! I literally have NO NOTES!! Everything was perfect

DJ and planning out our wedding day so easy and enjoyable (if you have ever planned a wedding, you know enjoyable is hard to come by during all of the planning and coordination chaos). Our DJ did an amazing job and made the whole day so magical. The flow of each part of the event was seamless and the energy of the music was spot on. Dart will be the first company we reach out to for any future parties and celebrations!
Dart Collective did an absolutely incredible job DJ-ing our wedding this past month at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Working with Sam and his team was so easy from start to finish, and ...
we were able to put our complete trust in them to execute our event flawlessly. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had such a fabulous time. We've gotten so many compliments on the music from family and friends. If you're planning a wedding, we truly cannot recommend them, and specifically our DJ Ashley, enough.

We worked with Dart Collective for our Brooklyn wedding and could not have loved them more. There are a plethora of options in NYC for DJs but I’m so happy we went with Dart. They ...
brought uplighting and were able to find a pianist to play our ceremony. It was so easy to plan every aspect with them - literally one stop shopping.I’ve been to enough bar mitzvahs and quinceañeras as a child to be permanently scarred by party DJs, but Dart is everything you want a wedding music team to be - effortlessly cool and completely dialed into the vibe and tone of the night. DJ Will absolutely crushed it. Weeks later, people are still telling us it was the best music they’ve ever danced to at a wedding. Our only complaint is that the party had to end. We’re already trying to think of excuses to throw another event just so we can hire them again.
We had an amazing time with Dart for our wedding! The dance floor was very important to us going into the wedding, and we wanted a perfect mix of throwbacks (particularly 90s and e...
arly 2000s) that people could dance, jump, and sing along to. Our DJ, Phil, exceeded our expectations and kept our dance floor going for a full 3 1/2 hours. He perfectly selected and mixed songs from various eras and knew how to get everyone out there dancing throughout the night. We received so many compliments from our guests, and many said it was the best wedding dance floor they've been on. We highly recommend Dart and Phil!

We had a wide range of ages at our party and every single one of them were on the dance floor. Would recommend this team to everyone and anyone looking to create a fun and unique vibe!!!!!
Working with Sam, Marco, and Julian was so seamless and easy. We really wanted to avoid a DJ that played tired 'wedding' music and actually created a fun night of dancing with our ...
millennial Brooklyn crowd. We vibed with Sam immediately on intake meeting, who even 'scouted' our venue to confirm the existing audio setup worked (helping us save some $$ on rentals). Coordinating with Marco and working with DJ Julian on the day-of was a breeze and delivered exactly the energy we had hoped for. Couldn't recommend enough!

Julia was incredible to coordinate with—so responsive, organized, and easy to work with. Everything on the logistics side felt effortless, which made a huge difference during the planning process.
We had White Noise as our band, and they were beyond amazing. They kept the dance floor packed all night and brought such an incredible energy that our guests are still talking about. One of the most special moments for me was walking down the aisle with my dad, and their guitarist learned my favorite song just for that moment. It meant so much and made it even more personal and memorable.
On the day of, their onsite team was fantastic. Our venue team even commented on how wonderful they were to work with, which says a lot. They were professional, collaborative, and made everything feel smooth and stress-free.
I can’t recommend White Noise and the entire Dart Collective team enough. They are incredibly talented, easy to work with, and truly elevate every part of the experience.
If you want to make sure that the vibes are right and the guests have fun, you should definitely work with Dart!!
They were super responsive and professional, listened to what we ...
wanted, and connected us with the perfect DJ to match our vision (Eddie).
The communications and prep before the event made sure everything happened according to plan -- not a single moment of stress. They were timely, ready to go, and a true pleasure to work with.
We had the most fun, exciting, engaged, and lively dance floor for over 5 hours -- the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner also were perfect. I would 100% recommend them!!

- they were super professional, organized, and genuinely cared about understanding the vibe we wanted for the day.
Ben was amazing! He completely nailed the energy from start to finish - from setting the perfect mood during cocktail hour to absolutely crushing it on the dance floor. The transitions were flawless, and he read the crowd so well. It truly felt like he was part of the party, not just playing for it.
We’ve had so many guests tell us that it was one of the most fun dance parties they’ve ever been to, and that’s entirely thanks to Ben and Dart Collective. The music kept everyone - from our college friends to our parents - out on the floor all night long.
If you’re looking for a DJ or collective that will not only deliver incredible music but also make your wedding feel uniquely you, look no further. We couldn’t recommend Dart Collective and Ben more highly. They made our day unforgettable!

tely CRUSHED it. Our number one priority was a fun dance floor, and they delivered beyond our wildest dreams. It was packed from the first song to the last. Our friends and family were dancing so much, everyone was having the best time. It was pure joy.
The music, the energy, the transitions... everything was flawless. They didn't just play a setlist; they read the room, understood the vibe we wanted, and kept the party going all night long.
On top of being amazing DJs, they were a total joy to work with. They made everything feel seamless and effortless, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. We’ve had so many guests tell us it was one of the best parties they’ve ever been to.
Dart Collective was a huge part of making our wedding the best night of our lives. We can't thank them enough!

great we just wanted a low key vibe that was all about the music, rather than heavy emceeing), so we were referred to Dart by coworkers. We could not be happier with our choice, from the communication before the wedding to the night of. We worked with Marco on the details ahead of time and he was so responsive and proactive in making sure everything was set up exactly how we wanted. Day of, our DJ (Allyson) was incredibly professional and knew exactly how to flow the music according to our music map, but was also willing to accommodate last-minute requests. Guests came up to us all night and in the days after to rave about the music and Dart’s vinyl set up. If you are looking for a fun, laid back dance party that is tailored to YOU, rather than to what most weddings want, Dart is the DJ vendor for you!!

for our day was stellar. He made sure to play all of our requested songs, was technically great on the decks (we had a fair amount of songs with varying BPM's which can be tricky to transition), and he brought a ton of energy. lt perfect for the moment, and once the dancing started, the party never stopped. They mixed in the perfect amount of 80s music, which had everyone—young and old—out on the dance floor all night. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! On top of that, their setup was so professional and cool, seamlessly blending into the vibe of our venue while still feeling stylish. The DJs were amazing at reading the crowd and keeping the energy high from beginning to end. Hiring Dart Collective was one of the best decisions we made—if you want your wedding to feel like the ultimate celebration, they’re the ones to make it happen.
From day-one, we knew Dart Collective was THE choice for our wedding. We didn't want a traditional "Cupid Shuffle" wedding DJ, we wanted someone to play our favorite songs and keep...

y worth it. From our first call months before the wedding to the actual day, Dart Collective’s approach to music and mixing showed their clear enthusiasm for music and care for making our day as memorable as possible. The mixing was clean and fun, and DJ Ashley read the crowd beautifully and kept the dance floor packed all night. I would highly recommend Dart Collective for any celebration.

nts send, because it was easy to follow but I could make edits whenever I needed without having to bother them with an email. The day of the wedding, we had Richie and Marco and boy did they bring the best energy! They were great at MCing, following all the notes my planner had for them, and played a great mix of our "must have songs" and other great songs that my guest truly never left the dance floor. I still being told by my guest how great they were, especially Marco's dance moves! I would Dart over and over again!

is impeccable. We worked with the DART team for our wedding in June and the process leading up to the day was fun and really helped make the music aspects of the wedding day seamless and easy.
We were most impressed with DART’s Music Map process through which they decipher who from the collective will be the best DJ fit for your event. After filling it out, we were assigned DJ Dave, and he truly delivered the dance vibe we were going for. We even had a call before the day to get a vibe check and he matched our energy perfectly.
All of our ceremony and reception cues were spot on and the entire day felt as though we had rehearsed everything multiple times even though we hadn’t. Dave had a great sense of timing and feel for the energy of our guests; managing to emcee through all speeches, dances, and dinner service with great ease. He turned our dance floor into a real party and didn’t drop the ball or have any trainwrecks in the process.
All said and done, we would choose DART again and again! Highly recommend!

We were given a link to a Music Map that we could update at any time leading up to our wedding with Must Have's, Do Not Play, Cocktail Hour, Dance set's, Dinner Music and much more. You could also just upload your Spotify Playlist which was so cool. Our DJ, Ashley took the time to meet with us and learn all about what we wanted and she really took all that into account on our wedding day! Our guests were super impressed and have been asking for their info ever since. I cant wait to have a party and hire Dart to DJ again!

that we worked with displayed an unparalleled level of professionalism, service, and true joy in helping our big day be exactly as we envisioned. From the beginning, everyone we spoke to at Dart was warm, kind and extremely detail oriented. Their online platform (allowing us to view all the bands and their setlist, as well as their customizable music map) allowed our input to be considered fully and we were able to adjust seamlessly if we changed our mind about anything. They have excellent communication through the wedding process, scheduling calls to hear how we’d like the flow of the entire evening to go, and they work seamlessly with the venue and the wedding planner so all of the logistics are handled on the day without any hiccups or hitches. And then of course the music. Superb. Our band, The New Design, was simply magnificent. We have not stopped getting compliments for their incredible artistry, energy, malleability playing different genres, and connecting with the crowd. They were better than we ever could have imagined. They learned our unique first dance song and played it exactly how we wanted it. Absolutely nailed our big moments throughout the night and were so kind to all of our guests. We also arranged for an afterparty DJ through Dart, and he was every bit a hit among our guests, keeping the party going and upping the energy as the evening went along. Based on reputation and proficiency, there is simply no one else working in the wedding space right now more adept and worthy of recommendation than Dart Collective.

From the ceremony violinist learning new songs I requested to the last dance, everything was perfectly timed, beautifully performed, and exactly the vibe we hoped for: elegant, fun, and full of heart. Ashley and the band members brought the BEST energy. Sam was so responsive and organized throughout the planning process—it made everything feel effortless on the day-of.
We’ve gotten so many compliments on the music and overall energy of the night, and I’ve already been recommending Dart to friends. They were such a big part of what made the day feel unforgettable.

new we wanted the music to be a highlight of the evening, and Dart did not disappoint.
Jason was a great emcee between toasts at dinner, and then once the dancing started he brought awesome energy on the decks. He perfectly captured the vibe we were going, seamlessly transitioning between Carly Rae, Donna Summer, Robyn, etc. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Folks told me the next morning they only were leaving to catch their breath, which is exactly what we were hoping for! It was awesome to see him mixing live. Transitions were dope, song choices were spot on, and his energy was infectious. I loved looking up and seeing him singing along as he queued up the next disc.
Our sax player Noah absolutely shredded the whole time he was on! One guest captioned later: "if your wedding doesnt have a hot tatted sax player walking around the dance floor i'm not going". We weren't totally sure what to expect with the sax, we just knew we wanted to add a little extra flair, and we got that and more! Awesome solos & additions to all the songs he jammed on, but did so in a way that didn't take away from the song itself or make it only about the sax.
The rest of the Dart team also made everything a breeze. Easy communications & friendly folks from the start. They had us fill out a structured music map so all our special moments & requests could be noted down (and they nailed everything we mentioned). Dart's maybe a bit pricier than your standard DJ, but the premium was totally worth it for the level of quality & professionalism they offered. Highly recommend Dart for any entertainment needs!
