He was energetic, classy, well spoken, and he got everyone up, cheering, clapping, and most importantly dancing, the whole night. The music was perfect- a blend of disco and pop oldies, current songs, and EDM which was a total hit for everyone. No one sat during our wedding and that’s just what we wanted. THANK YOU JOEY!!!!!!

We've been receiving SO much positive feedback about the music at our wedding and the overall vibe/energy of the night, and I know myself and my husband had so much fun out on the dance floor! The music catered to all of our guests, and the dance floor was full the whole night. Pete has an incredible way of pacing the night out and matching the appropriate energy level for each portion of the night. Even the sit down dinner music was great and everything flowed so perfectly. He can assess the crowd well and while he accommodated all of our requests he also had a great ability to play the right amount of each song based on the feel from the guests (wouldn't cut a song that was a hit short but wouldn't overplay a song that wasn't as popular). His music transitions were top notch and he knew the right timing for each formality in the evening. He also was a great and entertaining MC who would say the right things to hype of the crowd without overdoing it, which was important to us. Pete's commentary when we did our bridal party introductions, cake cutting, the toasts, first dances, etc, was always just right. We appreciate how flexible and available he was for us through email and phone while leading up to our wedding. We also had live musicians of Platdash for our cocktail hour (a violinist & pianist), and that added a beautiful element to the night as well. Our wedding was a night to remember and we have DJ Pete and Dash of Class Platinum to thank for that!

Even during the night, we kept getting rave reviews from our guests about how good the sets were that DOC was playing and they kept everyone engaged and on the dance floor for most of the night. They mixed in our must play songs well and made sure there was a little something for everyone. We even received additional pictures at the end of the night that they captured which came out amazing. All in all, Dash of Class & Joey O are the best of the best - they are amazing partners, make the process less stressful and confusing, and we’re great to work with. With the delays our original plans changed to include an on-site ceremony and Joey did not hesistate to work with us to not only plan the music, but provide equipment for our officiant. We also booked our photo booth through him. We used their subcontractor, Voto Booth, for a mirror photo booth. This was a huge hit with our guests and left us with a hilarious and memorable guest book. We also booked Mario to play the saxophone at our reception- he was the fan favorite! We received so many compliments from our friends and family about what a special treat it was to have him play on the dance floor. I wound recommend him 10 times out of 10! There was a total of 5 team members from Dash of Class- and everyone was professional, incredible, and made our night one we won’t soon forget! My husband and I tried our best to say hello to all our guests at their tables- but we were unable to because literally EVERYONE, young and old, were on the dance floor the entire night! From the time of booking to the day of the event, they are always professional, on time, organized, and most importantly to me so very sweet and gracious to family and guests. The setup in the ballroom was spectacular, in addition to the setup on the stage with the TV's they also did all of the uplighting around the room and beautiful projections on the domed ceiling that really set the vibe for the entire night. As far as the music, my guests during the reception were coming up to us saying that they were the best DJ's they've ever heard and how impressed they were with how they kept switching the music up, but still keeping everything cohesive and fluid. We also had a saxophonist and a percussionist that played the entire time, I don't recall them stopping once, this special unique touch absolutely blew my guests out of the water. After the reception we had them at the after party and as expected they didn't disappoint here either, there was a seamless transition from reception to after party and the music just kept going, I really don't think we could have asked for more because they delivered on everything and made my husband, myself and our guests so happy and we all had an amazing time thanks to Peter and his entire team! We ended up going with the theatrical design, which includes uplighting, pin spots for our floral arrangements and their monogram, sparklers, and clouds add ons. I had specific asks around lighting color and wanted pink and green accents for my sorority when we did our hymn. Everything looked beautiful and we got lots of compliments on how everything created an elevated experience for our guests during the reception.

80s/90s, whatever. We were nervous to work with a DJ that could go back and forth between English songs and our own. WELL THESE GUYS KILLED ITTTTTT. They know how to seamlessly transition music and feel the vibe of the crowd when going through the night. EVERYONE WAS HAVING A BLAST. We had people coming up to us asking for their number so that they could work with them too, saying this was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. DJ Joey O was our main guy but Mike was just as awesome and other than the talent, THEY'RE THE NICEST PEOPLE!!! He made everything so easy and checked in often. Any requests, changes, or updates I had, Joey was so welcoming to hear of all of them.
