Dasoni Films is a wedding videography business based in Brooklyn, New York. The name ‘dasoni’ comes from a native Korean word (‘다소니’) that means ‘love,’ ‘lover,’ or ‘to be beloved.’ With more than 30 weddings since 2020, we deliver heartwarming wedding films with a cinematic and documentary filmmaking style. All weddings are unique on their own. Instead of insisting on fixed-style coverage, Dasoni Films adopts a documentary style of filmmaking to capture any special moments for a wedding couple. With pleasure using audio bits (i.e., letter readings, speeches, etc.), we deliver a cinematic experience of your wedding day that reflects the theme(s) we witnessed on your wedding day - e.g., beautiful love between a couple, friends, and family’s blessings, etc. Our Focus We believe that precious moments exist in every moment. And it is our job to spot and document them as they happen. With a mix of documentary and cinematic filmmaking styles, we aim to deliver fantastic imagery with a feeling of nostalgicness. Areas We Serve Currently, we provide our services in five boroughs of NYC: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. Please don't hesitate to let us travel. Packages (Starting from $2250) We provide the following packages: Documentary, Indie-Film, and Full cinema package. A significant difference between each package is a matter of equipment (i.e., lighting and audio equipment) and the number of cinematographers/assistants. The Full Cinema package is a complete package deal. If you want total coverage for your wedding at the highest quality standard, this package is the one for you. With video-centric equipment (audio and lighting equipment) and an extra cinematographer for flexibility, we deliver complete coverage on your wedding day by perfectly capturing all necessary proceedings: wedding ceremonies, cultural ceremonies, wedding speeches, and others. With an additional cinematographer, you will be free from any constraints in aspects of logistics and time on your wedding day. The Indi-Film package is the most popular one for which couples constantly book. Although it does not come with an extra shooter, the Indie-Film package is still a great choice as it prioritizes capturing beautiful moments of your wedding day with a beautiful edit with incorporating audio bits from a ceremony or a reception. With three years of experience, Dasoni Films can still cover and deliver all necessary proceedings as a separate cut. The Documentary package is the most affordable one for hire. While traveling light with less equipment, the Documentary package captures all essential moments with one camera and audio equipment. Covering wedding ceremonies and receptions are still included in this package as a separate cut.
