It's been exactly one year since our wedding, and we want to extend our deepest thanks to Annie and Una, without whom we could never have dreamed of having a wedding that is as beautiful, well planned, and seamlessly executed as we did. From the minute we reached out to them, they had been nothing short of perfect: thoughtful, versatile, responsive, professional, and so incredibly empathetic. And thanks to our crazy Silicone Valley hours on top of the East Coast-West Coast distance, Annie and Una spent many late nights going over mood boards, design proposals, and vendor options with us to make sure we are hitting our deadlines and on the same page.
A little bit about working with the venue: we had chosen the Asian Art Museum and there were many constraints that came with it. Not only was there the challenge of lighting and decorating an indoor space with limited natural light, but there was also a very strict timeline on the wedding day itself (we had to wait until after museum hours before any set up could begin). Thanks to Annie's design background and extensive experience, we were able to put together a magical and picture perfect day for us and all of our guests. We have received so many compliments on the beauty and quality of our wedding throughout this first year, and it's all thanks to the two of them.
On the wedding day itself, even when under the stress of managing so many people with so little time, Annie and Una remained empathetic, organized, and professional throughout. My husband and I truly enjoyed every single interaction that we've ever had with them, and we owe them so much. Thank you, Annie and Una, for all of your creativity and sincerity. We love and miss you both so much!
Annie Lee and Sarah Glowacki did such an amazing job with my wedding.
We had some hiccups - like our wedding venue fell through, and I had a hard time picking the correct flowers and colors, etc. Annie and Sarah helped with every step of the way.
They executed what we planned so nicely and made my day super stress free.
Annie is expensive - let's not sugar coat it. But she is amazing. I interviewed 10 different planners and Annie was the only one who immediately provided value and complimented my needs.
The month of - Sarah contacted all of my vendors, did a timeline and took me out of it. By the day of the wedding, I just needed to show up, smile and have fun.
Thanks for making my day awesome!
Daughter of Design made the entire wedding weekend look and feel effortless. They not only help you with the obvious logistical requirements of planning a wedding, but manage any potentially uncomfortable matters (like discussing cost sharing with the in-laws). On the day of, vendors and guests that participated in my wedding told me they had never worked with, or seen, a wedding planning team as professional and efficient as Daughter of Design. I wish I could have invited them to be guests at my own wedding.
