e dreamed. We hosted a cozy 65-person wedding, and having most of our guests stay on site turned the entire weekend into the perfect weekend-long celebration. The location is unbeatable just a block from town and a block from the beach, making it convenient for our friends and family to explore Montauk. Everyone loved that they could step outside and immediately experience all that Montauk has to offer. Our ceremony in the beautiful side yard was stunning. The space had so much charm and character which contributed to how powerful and special the moment was. The pergola and chairs fit our vibe perfectly, and Leo and his team delivered flawless sound and musical timing. The motel made a gorgeous backdrop, capturing the essence of the experience. Cocktail hour by the pool was pure magic. The team transformed the space, and every detail felt elevated yet relaxed. And I will never forget the moment we stepped into The Bird on the Roof for the first time. Our vision not only realized, but executed better than we could have imagined. It was soft, romantic and intimate. As an interior designer, the venue's gorgeous yet welcoming design was a huge part of why we chose it, but the lighting transitions from dinner to dancing completely blew us away and amplified the mood of the evening. We also want to give major love to the staff, who shaped so much of our experience: - Leo, what you and your family have created is pure genius. We are obsessed and will make it an annual stop for the rest of our lives. - Valentina, our event coordinator, you were our anchor from day one. Organized, communicative, laid-back and such a joy to work with. - Danielle, who oversaw service at The Bird, you ensured everything ran smoothly while adding genuine warmth to the atmosphere. Your smile makes us smile. - Chef Jake. You were absolutely outstanding! Our friends are STILL talking about your creations. - Virgil : your espresso martinis and cocktails are legendary. Can't wait to buy your cocktail book one day. - - The entire team at both The Bird and Daunt's Albatross were kind, friendly, attentive, and incredibly hard-working. The best part? They looked like they were genuinely having fun. That energy set the tone for our guests and made the night feel even more vibrant and positive. From start to finish, the communication, design, service, food, drinks, lighting, and overall execution were complete perfection. Our wedding was beautiful, intimate, and personal. Somehow the team was able to blend the vibe of Montauk with our personal style. If you have the chance to get married here, DO IT. At very least, go stand and you'll understand why it has become our home away from home. Daunt's Albatross and The Bird on the roof gave us the wedding of our dreams, and we are endlessly grateful.
