Several weeks ago I went into Askew Jewelers to get advice on some work that I would like done on my ring. I was unsure if it was possible. At that time Mr. Askew indicated that he was able to do the work. After purchasing a loose stone, I retu...rned to the store to have the work done. Mr. Askew now stated that he will "have to pass on doing the work". I made a purchased based on his expertise and now he does not want to do the work. The stone I purchased based on his recommendation is non-refundable and now I am out $700. Very sad. Pick another jeweler, this one can not be trusted.
