of pictures on something I can't redo. I was on a strict budget and was hoping due to the cost I would still have some nice professional pictures. We met up with him weeks before and also looked at his reviews and thought we were picking a good photographer to capture every detail. He took over 600 pictures, but most are just snap shots anyone could do. The lightening on some are to light or to dark and then colors blend together and don't make good pictures. We,the bride & groom looked washed out in a lot of the pictures. I wanted a lot of pictures outside, but do to the construction he didn't feel there were any good spots at the church, But for the few we did take outside at the reception/church they turned out nice with good lighting, but outside pictures of the whole wedding party didn't happen. I wasn't to worried about the back ground for outside pictures, but he didn't seem like he could see good areas to take pictures at in the park, what would make a good back ground,etc. So hardly no pictures were taken outside. I'm missing so many memory pictures - I don't have any good pictures of the full wedding party/flower girl & ring bear - I don't have any good pictures of the bride and groom with the flower girl/ring bear or with my family. I only have one of the flower girl/ring bear and that one isn't good. I don't have a picture of us just standing in front of our wedding cake, I do have some with us cutting the cake. He didn't take any serious pictures of bride and groom or thinking of different ways to set people in the pictures to capture different things or feelings. Most of my wedding group pictures someone is standing in front of someone's face, clothes aren't straighten for guys pants, didn't make sure everyone's hands were down or legs not crossed, or standing in good formation ..its all about the details and different positions you place people in that make the perfect pictures. NO pictures of us lighting the Unity Candle, Most of the pictures I do have are mainly snap shots - no professionalism to them at all. Our first dance pictures, are very light and then he took some with no flash and those are to dark to even see us. I wish I could add the pictures of displeasure so you could truly see what I'm so upset about. I also wanted pictures of the guys with their jackets off with them swung over their shoulders, didn't get that, he could have had the wedding party standing behind the bride/groom outside, didn't get that. He also doesn't have a list that you (bride/Groom) can check off to ensure you are getting all the pictures you want. He should have contacted me a week or two before the wedding asking for specific pictures or list to help guide him during my wedding day. He did give us a video of our ceremony and that seem to be good, but I haven't watched it fully - he wasn't sure how that would turn out so he throw that in. Plus he sent the CD's to both bride and groom since we are apart due to jobs at this time. I'm hoping my review also helps him become a better photographer and understands how important someone's wedding day is to them and how to capture or reflect every possible moment for the bride and groom. Just sad and disappointed
