Dave Woodland is a wedding videographer based out of Louisville, KY. Rooted in storytelling, he will craft a film worthy of your love story. Dave and his team document your wedding, keeping in mind just how big of a milestone this is for the both of you. Whether it be a full feature or a highlight video, he shoots in multiple locations and in 4K Ultra High Definition to make it a timeless rendering of the day. His sense and style of filmmaking is artful and narrative. He is also available to stay additional hours in order to weave those heartfelt, joyous, and nostalgic moments in a delicate balance. Although he leans towards real and natural moments, he can give discrete and thoughtful directions to pull everything together. He takes on only a handful of clients every year, which in itself is a testament to the time, effort, and care he pours into your film. Over the last 9 years, he has helped couples capture precious memories and would love to do the same for you.

Having followed his work since 2019, it’s clear that he is passionate about his work and is committed to improving his craft year after year, always providing top notch service. As for our wedding and video - Dave was so patient with us as we had to postpone our wedding a year due to pandemic travel restrictions, and even helped us to eventually create a subtitled version of our video so that our Italian family could fully feel part of the highlights of our day. The end product was gorgeous and perfectly captures the emotions of the wedding weekend - every time we watch it with family, there is always a crier and everyone feels the same joy all over again. Your wedding day goes so fast - it feels like you’re on a high, going here, going there, saying hello to everyone, making sure everything’s okay. It’s easy to miss a lot of the small moments and little details. After spending so much time planning, it’s so special to have all the footage to look back on, and Dave does it so beautifully!
