After the pandemic caused us to cancel our original wedding plans, we decided to elope with our parents and siblings in Savannah. My husband had proposed in Columbia square two yea...
rs ago. We had done a tour of Davenport house after the proposal (it was a great tour and we highly recommend) and one of the staff members had suggested that we get married there. So, two years later, we took them up on that suggestion and booked the Davenport for a small garden wedding!
I can’t say enough good things about Sheena and Jeff that helped us plan this last minute wedding! They were so accommodating and helpful with everything from seating to restaurant recommendations! Sheena performed our Ceremony and she was amazing! We told Sheena what we were looking for in regards to our ceremony and she wrote us a custom script that was BEAUTIFUL! (I’ve watched the video probably 35 times!)
The Davenport house is the perfect place for a romantic, small wedding! They are so accommodating and there are so many options at an AMAZING price to make your day feel special and unique! (Which is rare for short notice/elopement places). I think I was the most relaxed bride in history because of Sheena and Jeff! I can’t say enough good things!
Got married in their courtyard garden, it was beautiful. Jeff at the museum was very accommodating.
