We postponed our March 2020 wedding a week before it was due to take place and finally had our wedding May of 2022. ome. We wanted to capture raw emotion and real, candid, unposed moments along with the uniqueness of the ceremony and David did just that. He captured the feel of the whole day perfectly and I am immediately transported back to those special moments when I look at our photos. You spend more time with your photographer than anyone else on your wedding day, so being comfortable around them is extremely important. David has a calm, collected, easy going presence and doesn't get caught up in the chaos of the day. He kept us on schedule without being pushy, was flexible, and worked/coordinated so well with our other vendors (DJ, videographer, etc). We felt that we could totally trust him, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day so much more. You cannot go wrong hiring David as your wedding photographer. and availabilities. David was super accommodating and receptive to what we wanted for our photography package. On the big day, he was awesome to work with. My MOH is a photographer and she was (very obviously) itching to see from his perspective - eventually he started including her on shot compositions they liked, haha. The entire wedding party vibed with any directives and instruction. We were able to finish up most absolutely necessary photos before the ceremony. To top it all off - the obvious - the photos were exactly what we wanted and they were all beautiful. If you want your wedding photos to stand out amongst the rest - I highly recommend working with David.

rs could take a page (or rather the whole dang book) from David on how to treat clients, create timelines, and how to stay organized because he was flawless! Typically your wedding guests will remember the quality of the food and the venue, but my wedding guests could not stop raving about how nice my photographer was! If his style of photography suites your needs, do not hesitate on booking David for your special day! My only regret is that I did not book him longer. He went far above and beyond the call of what I anticipated his duties to be and I will forever be grateful.

However, what really won me over was my initial consultation with David. He was so down to earth and had such a great attitude and I immediately knew he was someone I wanted around on our wedding day to help keep the calm. You spend a ton of time with your photographer so I really wanted someone who meshed well with our personalities and he easily did. He was timely and professional and captured every picture on our request list. He was super quick on his feet when we had to work around a music festival next to our wedding venue. On top of all of these wonderful things his photography skills and style are incredible. It’s super unique and his portfolio doesn’t look like most other wedding photographers. This was exactly what drew us to him and I’m so happy he was our wedding photographer!

planning process. I was 36 weeks pregnant during our reception and it was almost 100 degrees (outdoor venue), David kept us moving and made sure we got all of our pictures done without having to stand around. He let us be ourselves during our photos and was not pushy about posing. He took a lot of great candid shots of our guests and was immediately available if anyone called him over for a picture. Our photos came through on a beautiful and easy to use website. We are so happy we went with David!

o work with. On the day of our wedding he was punctual and talked us through almost every moment and how he wanted to help us capture the things WE thought were important. He worked SO well with our crazy family and didn't get overwhelmed. Sometimes when you are not used to being photographed you can become awkward in front of a camera and thats how I am. David made being photographed feel natural! It was great. One other thing I think is important to note is that my husband and I are very religious and had a religious ceremony and David was beyond respectful when asking questions and in capturing what was important to us. Also our pictures came out AMAZING!!! When I show people our pictures they ALWAYS comment on how beautiful they are. I would recommend David one million times over. Such a great guy. We will be using his services at any future events.

My husband and I look at our pictures everyday in complete awe of David’s work and how he managed to capture our day.

. The one expense I was not budging on was a great photographer and I went to work looking through photographers that could service my small hometown in Ohio. A lot of photographers have this light, bubbly style but I was drawn to David's portfolio which featured lots of natural lighting, greenery and deep moody shadow. On his website he states "likes to document weddings as they happen" and warns that he may not be the photographer for you if you are looking for light and airy. I immediately knew this was the guy that was going to capture my wedding as I pictured it in my head. Even though I was currently living in Los Angeles, David was responsive and timely with his correspondence and even hopped on conference calls with my mother and I to help guide us through a typical wedding timeline that I could customize to better fit my vision of my dream wedding. He laid everything out in a PDF which I could customize and shuffle key points around so he could be in the right places at the right times. On the day, David and his second photographer handled my husband's family while I was at the hairdressers. The first location was a historic home, which David was actually very familiar with and guided us to the best spots for first looks, intimates and family portraits. He gave excellent direction while posing, described what he was looking for in each location so we could move and emote best for the shot. After the wedding, I got David's gallery within his promised timeline; about 6 weeks. The online gallery is great, organized and password protected so you can share what you want, wherever you want. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and was so thrilled that he "got" me and my vision.

felt he really captured the best moments and natural reactions, smiles, tears, etc. I’ve been staring at them for 6 months now. Before the day he outlined the order of events and helped me get organized, even detailing all of the shots I wanted and thought of more that I didn’t. I couldn’t be happier with our selection of pictures which were also delivered through a nice, organized portal that I can access whenever. David was great, you won’t regret using him for your big day!!

He also answered my long list of questions I had in the beginning before I I even booked him and did not make me feel like I was wasting his time or that any of my questions were silly. When it came time for the wedding Dave really put me at ease! He met with me before the Wedding and we walked the grounds looking for the perfect locations to shoot, and if we did not have enough we knew we needed to look elsewhere. Needless to say we ended up off site for our bride and groom intimates. Dave picked the same spot that I had went out searching for in my own time! It was perfect. We also had an itinerary for the day with times, so we both knew what we were doing and when it was happening. If you like photography with a classy artistic edge and mood, David is your guy. People who saw our photographs said they were absolutely stunning! Do yourself a huge favor and get someone a picky photographer herself backs!

David was also great about communication in regards to specific photos we did or did not want, and kept our timeline going smoothly despite our wedding starting a tad later than scheduled. Still to this day, we get compliments on our wedding photos. My family and friends had nothing but wonderful things to say about David. If we could do our wedding all over again, I would hire David in a heartbeat.

ographers: 1. Technical skill. David is an extraordinarily gifted photographer: he is able to frame your photos so they are beautiful. He does an excellent job leveraging your surroundings to make the most of them; for instance, he took our engagement photos on a busy path in Kent, but he was about to set them up so that we looked like we were in a deserted forest. In addition, he is able to take photos in all sorts of different lighting conditions. This is technically challenging, and not all photographers are up to the task. 2. Comfort. David has an unrivaled ability to set you at ease. This not only makes the photography process a lot more fun, it results in far superior photos (because you actually look happy and relaxed). When we met up with David for our engagement photos, my husband and I didn't know what to expect (to be honest, we weren't really looking forward to it at all). But it turned out to be a very fun evening because David is so pleasant to work with. Everyone who attended our wedding agreed that David set them at ease and was a complete joy (we only had 10 guests, so everyone did work extensively with him). He also was also amazing with our autistic nephew, getting some lovely photos of him in the process. 3. Flattering photos. I hate to admit it, but my number one concern about my engagement and wedding photos was that I would look fat in them, as I, like many Americans, have body image issues. I told David this, and not only was he incredibly understanding, he also worked with me on posing, posture, and angles to create the most flattering photos. Despite my own issues with my body, I LOVED how I looked in my engagement and wedding photos. As I am sure that many people understand, this is no small feat! My brother and his fiance are actually using some photos that David took of them at the wedding as their engagement photos because they loved the photos he took so much.  4. Value. I do not think that you can get a better value on photography. Period.  David is a complete gem and we will be hiring him for maternity photos when the time comes. We feel so lucky to have found him, and cannot recommend him more highly!

we sat down with David for the first time to talk about what we were picturing for our wedding day we were very pleased that he took the time to truly get to know us as a couple! We talked logistics and he gave great suggestions to improve our church set up(our church was not pretty) while keeping the style exactly how we wanted it. We were so happy with how smoothly our wedding day went and how organized David and his associate were when taking family pictures(we have a very large family so this was important to us)! Despite the dreary weather that Mid-February day, the pictures turned out more beautiful than we could’ve hoped for and were just what we were imagining! David was such a great sport about taking our outdoor pictures in spite of the mud and rain! We have since recommended him to multiple friends and family, all of which hired him and have been incredibly happy with his work as well! We have another wedding coming up this January that we know David will be photographing and we are excited to see him again!
