I am a wedding Day-of-Coordinator (The Bride Organizer) and have had the pleasure of working with David Eric Photography for a wedding. Jerry and Caroline were professional, responsive and honest with what they needed to capture all the important moments for the wedding and we were able to coordinate a timeline that worked well for everyone! The photos they took came out great. They knew just the right places to take photos and the right way to position everyone. Thanks for capturing the wedding memories of the bride and groom! If even one couple reads this and thinks twice about David Eric I will be happy. I am jealous of the other 5 star reviews I read when I booked David Eric & at the end I found out that they give you free album pages for 5 star ratings (fyi) This service can best be described as mediocre and a cluster of misunderstandings (something that should not be a problem with a husband/wife crew of only 2) There was no huge, deadly issues with our photos or video package and experience, however there were an overabundance of smaller hiccups throughout our entire process that all add up to a 1 star review to say the least. Weddings are stressful enough and the vendors should be the least of your problems considering they have done this so many times before. I could write every issue we had down but that would take forever to read but i will give a few examples. We booked Caroline and then Jerry showed up at our "free" engagement shoot (we had already booked the middle of the road video & photo package and even still the engagement photos were costly ($65 for 1 print is all we decided to purchase on top) To rectify the misunderstanding of Jerry doing our engagement photos instead of Caroline (who we booked) they said we would get both of them for the wedding. We did not request this solution, it was given to us, and then later after the wedding it was thrown in our face that we somehow "swindled" our way to having both of them. 2 photographers for 10 hours of coverage and we got 839 pictures. It should have been double that. We had 4 readers at the ceremony and there was only photos of 3 of them. They did not photograph all the small details they promised that I worked so hard on leading up to the wedding. The DIY centerpieces/seating chart/card box/cake top/favors/guest book that they promised they would get captured looked like an afterthought in the final photos. They painted a beautiful picture description of what they would do on our wedding day when they were selling us and then did not deliver on those promises. At the end of their process, you pick your favorite photos and they make an album for you to come in and review. Well we came to review and "oops" all the album work didn't save and I sat in the studio for 4 1/2 hours redesigning each page of my album. I could have done this on my own for less than half the price on any photo book website (what was I paying them for?!?!) Oh and later on I was told I lied about that work not being saved and redoing all the album work. My wedding day was hands down the best day of my life and thankfully by chance the photos and video came out beautiful enough to remind me of that day, however I would never recommend David Eric to anyone for any of your photo needs strictly because of their customer service, communication skills, nickel and dime attitude, and overall unprofessional-ism throughout the whole process. Congrats on your engagement and I wish you the best of luck in your searches. All of our other vendors were Phenomenal and I would re-hire any of them over and over, but NOT David Eric.

Caroline and Jerry were very very professional and fun on the day of my wedding! They care about every aspect of their work and make sure to create images that document the entire day. They made me feel very comfortable and taken care of.

Caroline & Jerry exceeded my expectations.... They were both very professional and understanding... I got a lot of compliments from family and friends on how great they were. They were awesome...I Just wish they provided cinematography as an option for video...

We won a "free" engagement photo shoot from David Eric through a bridal show. We were never told even at their booth that "free" didn't really mean free. We went, took some amazing pictures at the designated place. Not once was it mentioned to us that we would not be able to have any of the pictures they took unless we paid an exorbitant amount of money. Once our session was over, we received an email from them with their price list (5 digital photos for over $100!!!!!) and them asking us what package we would like. Up until this point we had been under the impression that we would be getting photos for free because we had won a free engagement session. Overall it was a really bad experience for a couple with a tight budget and we couldn't even buy one photo because of how expensive their prices are. If you are someone who won a "free" engagement session with them just know that it is not free and you will have to pay a lot for your photos.

David Eric Photography provided us with amazing, high quality, photographs of our special day. Caroline and Jerry are a lot of fun to work with. We had such a hard time narrowing our options down for our album because they were all so perfect. Highly recommend to any future Mr. or Mrs.

Jerry & Caroline are amazing! I found them at a Bridal Expo among a lot of other photographers. The thing that sold me were their presentation and composition of the photos! Also, their albums were beautifully designed. They were so accommodating with my crazy wedding day schedule and all my ideas for the engagement shoots. They are so much fun, easy & professional. You will not be disappointed at all with your decision to book them as your photographers!!! Definite recommend!

Caroline and Jerry are AMAZING!! From the moment we met with Caroline we knew she would be our wedding photographer! we have received so many compliments from our guests and bridal party about how amazing they were! we were comfortable with them they made us feel at ease throughout the whole process, helped keep me on schedule the day of the wedding. Caroline was able to bustle my dress the day of the wedding when others failed. Lol. She even noticed my veil was being put on backwards . Jerry and Caroline, the owners of David Eric, were an absolute joy to work with. We could not be more pleased with how absolutely phenomenal our pictures turned out. Jerry captured my wedding two weeks ago and we were extremely pleased with his dedication, punctuality, patience and quality of work. My husband and I don't enjoy taking photos and jerry made it painless for us. His assistant was also amazing and she helped me throughout the day. Jerry captured pictures from start to finish without taking us away from our party. I highly recommend using him and his wife for your future wedding.

Carolyn and Jerry were my most favorite vendor I used by far. They are so professional, but also so friendly and comforting. They were like having one of our guests taking picture, they fit in so well. I strongly suggest hiring them both. Carolyn and her assistant became one of the girls while getting ready. They were so helpful and had so many great ideas for photos I would have never have thought. Now receiving my proofs I am even more impressed. That goes the same for the engagement photos. I used David Eric Photography for my April 2015 wedding. I cannot praise Jerry and Caroline enough for their hard work. They captured every moment. They included beautiful portraits and candid photos. I've received feedback from guests saying they didn't even notice the photographers in the church and the reception. Caroline was incredible especially working and running around with her leg in a brace! She didn't let it stop her from doing quality work. They are very prompt to contact you back, easy to get in contact with using email and phone. We got married on the 10th and had our proofs on the 29th. I also thought they were priced appropriately compared to other photographers I met with. They are professional, friendly, fun, talented, and worth every penny!

When my husband and I got engaged I was completely in the dark about wedding photographers. Two ladies, who had used them for their wedding photos, in my work office immediately told me to go see David Eric. They showed me how beautiful their albums were, how nice Caroline & Jerry are and I knew I had to go see them! It was the best experience I could ever have hoped for! I selected for two photographers for the church, prep, and formal photos and one photographer for the reception and we're so happy we did. They listened to what we wanted and delivered just that. Before the night was over with plenty of time to spare Caroline asked me if there were any photos we think we didn't get so we could get them. There photos are so stunning, the poses are natural, and they were great with capturing "us" on our wedding day. I was so happy to find them. I can't wait to start planning my album. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and nailing down vendors is sometimes a chore. I can honestly say that hiring David Eric Photography for both my photos and video was one of the easiest decisions that my now husband and I have ever made. Caroline and Jerry are beyond professional yet down to earth. Every meeting we had with them was seamless and stree-FREE. Every question was answered before I asked, no T was left uncrossed and no i was left un-dotted. I got married in an ice storm and they were still on time and got the job done; a job that far exceeded my expectations giving the weather situation. When looking at my photos you would have thought it was 85 degrees and sunny. Trust me when I say the weather was a huge problem for everyone that day, but Jerry and Caroline came through for the most important day of our life.

The package prices are very reasonable and there is much to choose from whether it’s the simplest photo package to the top-of-the-line “platinum” package (that’s just my description). And most of all ……..NO PRESSURE!!! They understand that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and are instrumental in making sure we walk out of their office with a smile knowing we made the decisions that best fit us. My wedding was on July 5th 2014. We got married at the WestMount Country Club in Woodland Park NJ. The backdrop for our photos was great and the weather ended up being truly amazing. The husband and wife duo that makes up David Eric Photography did an amazing job capturing our big day. I was very pleased with the turn around time for our proofs and the final product/quality of the printed pictures. As part of our package we had engagement photos taken in studio. We were very happy with the engagement pics too. The day of the wedding I was so thankful to have quick and efficient photographers. They got all the pictures done that we needed (family/bridal party/ and one on one) with in two hours. They were helpful with the timing for the wedding day and on time!

We used David Eric photography for our wedding and they were more than we could have ever imagined. From the minute we walked in the door for our first appointment Caroline and Jerry were nothing but professional and caring, making the extra effort to get to know us personally. We are so happy we chose Caroline and Jerry! From the beginning of our wedding planning I knew that the photography was one of my top priorities and I did a lot of research and contacted a few photographers before we found David Eric Photography. As soon as we met with Caroline we loved her friendly and candid personality. By the end of our initial meeting we knew we had found our photographers. Being an artist myself, I had a rather specific image of what I was looking for in our photography while still staying within our budget and they were so accommodating and willing to work with us so that everything was perfect. We just got our proofs back and they are amazing! I normally hate the way I look in pictures, and we were a bit apprehensive about it being awkward working with a photographer, but we had a great time with Jerry at our engagement shoot at the Pier in Hoboken and the pictures came out so great that we knew the wedding would be a blast. We had a very tight schedule and they kept us on time while still having fun. I would definitely recommend them to any bride! We couldn’t be happier with our experience and we will probably be using them for portraits at their studio in the future!

David Eric photography blew me away the minute I met them. Jerry & Caroline were Such a great team to work with. They were on top of everything and had an eye for every detail. Our family and Bridal Party were raving about them. They did everything and more to make sure every moment of my wedding was photographed. They also helped with things that did not have to do with the pictures like getting all the guys flowers pinned on and Caroline was the only one who was able to get my dress to fit right. Just got my proofs and words can't describe how amazing they turned out. Nothing was missed. I can't wait to start my album pics. This husband and wife team is a must have. Caroline and Jerry are a husband and wife photography team that get you know you as a couple through photography planning meetings and engagement photo sessions in order to learn what you are looking for in photography for your wedding. By planning out the day through the photography with them we had to create a timeline with locations and what pictures we wanted taken at each site. This forced my husband and I to come up with a good plan for the day that we were able to share with our family and wedding party and made for a smooth wedding day for everyone. Caroline and Jerry are very professional and friendly every time we meet with them and were the same the day of the wedding. They know exactly how the wedding day should go and help assist you in any way they can to make the picture taking process as quick and painless as possible but still capture everything that you want that day. We just got our proofs last week and I am thrilled with the amount of amazing pictures taken at each part of the day. There are so many good pictures that we are having a lot of trouble narrowing them down. I am excited to see how Caroline lays out the pictures we choose for our album and look forward to continuing to work with these great photographers and people. Though we chose this photographer mainly because it was local, we could not have been happier! They are very professional husband/wife team who work with you to get the pictures you want to get. I loved their style... catching what seemed like our biography together. We had asked them to take both types of pictures, smiling at the camera and totally random shots of us doing what we do best... laugh and have fun. Towards the end of the night, after not seeing them at all throughout the whole event, they asked if we wanted some other types of pictures. As the whole wedding was at its high point with dancing and drinking, we asked if Jerry could snap pictures of a group of us just being silly and dancing. Those are the pictures that came out the best and brought out our inner selves. Can't wait to see our photo books! Absolutely wonderful!
